Beautiful park adjacent to Highgate Cemetery with hills, ancient trees, playground area for children, quite difficult to push the buggy around but worth the effort, secluded kitchen garden with vegetable patches, pond with ducks, great place to relax and observe nature

Incredible off the grid park that never seems to get that busy despite being in an amazing location where you can bbq

One of the finest small parks in London, serving Archway, Dartmouth Park and Highgate. Lovely refurbished cafe at Lauderdale House. Nice playgrounds, and excellent views to the city.

Great park north of London for a walk and barbecue! We have not seen much park that allow BBQ, so this is one of our favorites from June to September. Keep in mind that disposable bbqs can not be put directly on the floor because the surface burns!

Love Highgate! Waterlow Park has loads of open space to wander around you can easily forget your in the city. Highgate village has plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs.

I live near by and come to this park quite often. It's quite big, clean and nice.

Beautifully park full of birds and amazing flowers, the trees and the open spaces here make you forget about the city, there are playgrounds for the kids, coffee shops, ice cream for the sunny days and boat rentals for the summer, you can also rent our chairs and have a quiet nice reading with an amazing view

How have I never been here before? A really lovely park with lots to look at, and a nice cafe.

Waterlow Park is easily one of my favourite green spaces in London. It s not intimidatingly large but it s still home to a duck-filled pond, two playgrounds, a lovely cafe/restaurant (Lauderdale House), community garden and a hilly field that s perfect for picnics. It s also a stones throw from the goth-tastic Highgate Cemetery, which is definitely worth a visit, not to mention the general loveliness of Highgate Village.

A pleasant hillside garden for walking and relaxation immediately adjacent to the famous Highgate cemeteries.

Good for the family and it has a food cafe, bit pricey, but you can't complain though, food is good.

Beautiful park, excellent to walk your dog or take the kids to play (they have a playground). From the highest part of the park you have a very nice view of London

Beautiful park with lots of variation- large opens green space, ponds, vegetable patch, flower garden, cafe and tennis courts. You can also BBQ here in designated areas. A very family oriented park, it s quieter and more beautiful than the larger touristy parks in central London. I really love this park!

There was a man singing very loudly and an obnoxious stag party but overall a good spot for a picnic.

What an oasis in North London such a pity the cafe is never open

Love the park. It's not big but very charming and a nice place for a pic nic. It's a few minutes walk from Highgate village, which is cute to walk through. Also the impressive old Highgate Cementary is next to then park.

Used to go here a lot as a child. Was referred to as the duck park. A great local park with nice gardens, places to sit and of course feed the ducks.

Lovely quiet park, very hilly which discourages people from playing sports. Toddlers park is very basic, has swings, a slide and a roundabout. You can feed the birds in the two ponds or just sit on one of the many benches.

Pretty park between Highgate as Hampstead Heath and right next to the Highgate cemetery where a number of historic figures are buried, including Mary Ann Eans (George Eliot) and Karl Marx.

Great park with both open spaces and smaller enclosed areas. Hilly and spacious, and a cafe in the middle, something for everyone.

Nice gardens for a stroll. Fairly pathetic kids play area. Cafe seems to have gone a gastro. Great if you like that sort of thing, but not so good if you want a regular ice cream or non glass bottle of water to take into park!

A lovely park between Archway and Highgate will always have a special place for me as it was one of the first places my wife and I went many years ago. Also has a lovely little cafe.

I was so glad to stumble on such a stunning place with so much backdrop.
Loved the park. Liked the fact that there are areas to bbq.
Will definitely be going back in the summer to have a family gathering there.

My favourite park in London. Lots of little sheltered area around the edge for small groups to hang out. A pretty good cafe. Not a large park but it has a lot to offer. You an also see Carl Marx grave.

Awesome space to escape from the noise. I wanted to get lost and stay longer!
