A wonderful place to see architecture and hear music.

Love the history, the tour was quite special due to our tour guide. Will definitely be back!

You do not have to be a religious person to thoroughly enjoy this monumental structure. A true Cathedral and one of the largest in the entire world, it took many many years to complete. The stained-glass work alone is worth the visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour which took approximately 45 minutes, and helped me to understand what I was looking at. I would strongly recommend this as a part of a visit to the Washington DC sites, or if you are inclined, as a place for your worship.

This architectural wonder has, as of today, September the first, two thousand eighteen, been graced with the honor of hosting the national funeral service for the late and great Arizona Senator, Navy veteran POW, hero, patriot, maverick and father and grandfather John S. McCain.

We stumbled onto this gem while on a walk. Loved the amazing stained glass, view from the top floor, the hidden pieces of art, lovely gardens.

Amazing architectur, guided tour is $12 for adults. Onsite parking garage $5 to $20 pending time spent.

Gorgeous place! Make sure to come early so you can go up on the observation level to see DC views!

Go to the 9 am service for spectacular music. Not during summer though

Awe inspiring architecture. A stunning building with a great history. A little out of the way for those hitting the National Mall but worth the side trip. Don't miss President Wilson's resting place.

Beautiful cathedral - like something you d find in Europe more than the US. But if you are looking for great pics, note that as of July 2018 there is scaffolding around one of the large spires for an earthquake update.

$12 to visit the Cathedral of the People? Pay for a worship service is wrong.

A little bit to expensive the tickets to access to the Lord place. Should be by donations. It is what it is.

Rivals the European cathedrals. If you ride your bikes be prepared for a long uphill climb and no bike racks to secure your bike.

What an awe inspiring building. The gothic architecture will take you right to Europe and save you the plane ticket. I wasn t able to go inside, but it s $8 for students and free on Sundays. There s a gargoyle of Darth Vadar on one of the sides and plenty of other cool things to discover here.

Everyone should see this place! It is truly America's church and so beautiful and inspiring.

Spectacular the Sanctuary is too Beautiful and its Stained Glass

Have been on and off the property of the national Cathedral many times over the past 22 years. It s sad to still see that one of the towers still has not been repaired from the earthquake that happened so many years ago. However always a beautiful place to visit.

Wonderful Handel's Messiah performance, the orchestra, the chorus...were superb...

This Cathedral is spectacular! My favorite structure in the DC Metro area.

Amazing place!!!! Go check out the tower tour and look for local festivals, it is a very fun place for families and anyone looking for some local sight seeing.

Very impressive. I have seen a number of Gothic style cathedrals in Europe, and this one can hold it's own against any of them.

Cathedral itself is nice, additionally you can go and chill in the garden next to it.

The arcitecture is beautiful (even though it was being worked on). The stained glass, the carvings, the tapestries...all the details.

Flower Mart was going on so there were A LOT of people and vendors set up outside. Lots of flowers, crafts, and food.

I absolutely love coming here - even with continued renovation and repair work stemming from the earthquake several years ago, the Cathedral is a stunning, sacred setting for prayer and worahip, and the grounds are lovely

Impressive bordering on epic, particularly in light of the low rise residential/collegiate area surrounding it.

I spent 4 hours the stain glass windows r spectacular either go on the tour or bring one of the books and read the story behind each panels or Lancet tell a story. The entire church is stunning the gargoyles I can go on. I must in in DC
