Was there for wedding reception. Everything was great except the air conditioning was not working too well and it was hot.
Was there for wedding reception. Everything was great except the air conditioning was not working too well and it was hot.
Company Christmas party was here. Food was average to poor. I am not a picky eater but some of the food was nearly inedible. I have eaten here before. The brunch used to be very good but has been a disappointment the last couple of times. The restaurant was just ok as well. Not a first choice and definitely not at the prices they charge.
We attended outside wedding there and reception I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff was how clean everything was and we had dinner there with the reception and it was like out of this world. Everything was exceptional thank you so much for a good time! Very exceptional when you can go out of town and get the service that we got thank you so much again what a beautiful place. South Central Illinois
We eat fairly regularly at the club at Weaver Ridge and the food is consistently very good! Unfortunately, the club will be closing from 11/1/20 to 3/1/21 due to Covid. I'm in hopes that it's as good when it reopens.
Getting rough rough needs some attention getting away from them its a shame its too nice too let go like this
Really nice but they are currently doing repairs on most of the sand bunkers. But still probably the nicest course I've played in central Illinois
Astounding course. 82 bunkers. Some so deep you are well below ground
Always a great place to golf and dine! Courses and clubhouse are always top notch!
Great Golf Course, great restaurant, and great banquet facilities. Sunday brunch is best in the area
Good restaurant and workers are very friendly. However everytime I have gone it has been extremely busy, the rooms are very crowded unless you get a small room. The tables are very close to each other and the customers can be really loud. It's best to go earlier in the morning since it gets busy around 11 am.
Had the tenderloin special. It was small, overcooked, the bun fell apart and had to ask for mayo.
You really need to serve some quality coffee. You are an upscale place, i would think people would expect it. Im sure there are local roasters who would love to gain your business.
I had been wanting to get down to Central Illinois to play one of the best public courses in the state for some time; Weaver Ridge did not disappoint!
The staff is both welcoming and professional. A greens-keeper both out on the course and in the shop interacting with patrons--that's something you don't find too often. And he is doing a great job.
Despite quite a bit of rain, the golf courses was amazingly firm. Fairways are cut short, firm and fairly generous. Don't get too careless; the rough is very thick, and requires some significant guesswork and brilliant shot-making.
The bunkers at Weaver Ridge are plentiful. (Unfortunately, they were washed out, but given how much rain they had received, that is completely understandable.) These hazards are also very, very deep. Get the ball up high and fast.
Greens were not overly difficult; very true, with subtle breaks. Nice and firm, they allow golfers to get creative around the green.
The course design is fabulous. Just enough water, combined with some fabulous doglegs, elevation changes and beautiful surrounding homes. The course will leave you breathless--physically, if you decide to walk it.
At $49 on a Wednesday morning, Weaver Ridge is an absolute steal. Similar Chicago-area courses charge twice as much and offer half the experience. Without a doubt, this is one of the top public golf courses in the state.
Convenient, staff was VERY helpful, and a great tume was had by all.
Course in bad condition especially around greens greens in bad shape sand traps terrible don't looked like they been raked or taking care of in a week ate after played food was very good people were very friendly
I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Weaver Ridge. Beautiful coarse and facility! Highly recommend!
Nice course. Twilight is great deal. Elevations add to the "Illinois" aspect. Bunkers need help, too much rain this year. Staff said end of July they will rework the traps then 5 stars.
They are working on the golf course it's getting better but still needs work.
Had a reservation at 11. 30 min later we get seated. At least 20 families came in after us and were seated before us. Then when we finally got seated they seated us at table that had people eating there currently and we ended up drinking out of others people water glasses, of course they informed this once they got back to THEIR table, from the buffet. Thanks for showing my mom the day she DID NOT deserve.
Fantastic brunch. Large variety of great food. Service was also excellent. Took family there from out of town and they want to come back for the brunch soon!
Weaverridge has a very nice look to it. My family and I went here for lunch on a whim one weekend and it turned out to be an excellent choice! The food was actually reasonably priced and very delicious.
Beautiful golf course, very nice to play and well taken care of. My work does an outing here every year and I make sure to attend because its so nice to golf here.
Blah food and doesn't respect 2nd amendment has not guns sign at front door. No desire to go back.
Played for the first time at the end of the year (early November), so i'm sure the course wasn't in best shape. Nice course, but nothing to write home about.
This place is absolutely amazing I was lucky enough to get a night celebrating a friends wedding on these beautiful grounds?
One of the more expensive courses in town, but really well kept and a diversified selection of hole designs. Probably my favorite course in the area. Staff are super friendly and a great bar and restaurant for after a round.
Really nice golf course. Disappointed the golf staff hasn't' figured out/doesn't value patron health & safety 5 month into a pandemic. No masks, social distancing, or plexiglass in the pro shop or starters area.
The new owners have done such a great job with improving the golf course. The course has always had good bones but now with the new ownership they're putting lots of love and money behind their product. The grains are rolling true and they're really fixing up the cart paths and the landscape. You need to go off here and met a more fields and I'm telling you we are very lucky to have a high quality set up like this in our area.
Went for the Mother's Day Brunch. The service was great and the food was delicious. Will definitely go again next year.
The traps are in bad shape. This use to be really nice. Not near worth the 55 to play.
I love this place, great food! Awsome drinks! And a great bartender! Would recommend to my family and friends!
Not a good place if your reservations are after 2pm. Stale food. If they haven't run out. Poor service. Went for Easter and it was an over priced waste of money. Will NOT return for any occasion. Our family drove from Rockford and after paying 27.00 each for 3 adults and 2 children was truly disappointed. 63.00 is too much money for what we got as two retired people. They are running on their name.
Course was great, the staff was very stuffy, disappointed in that
One of the better golf courses in the Peoria area. It is in great shape this year. I find it a very challenging course.
Great experience all around. Loved the course, courteous, friendly staff
I'll go back!
Needs a lot of work fairways great bunkers suck if other players would clean up pitch Mark's greens wouldn't be to bad
Nice course. I was surprised at how poor it was maintained the day we played (we had had rain so I give them a break)
Good menu
Good service
Fair prices
Clean venue.
The greatest course in Central in the Peoria area and then there's Metamora Field's!!!
Awesome course, good prices, gps in carts. The only thing is traps that need repairs, but new owners promise to fix it this year!
Food was great, but it seemed like wait staff was understaffed. We sat for 30 minutes before we even got drinks.but we were too busy having conversation to worry about it at that point in time.
Thanksgiving buffet. Limited choices for side dishes. Roast beef was over done. Service and bar was good.
EXCELLENT FOOD. Amazing service. Ever had the owner come by and say hello to us. 100% satisfaction
I went for brunch and I wasn't impressed. The waitress never came by to clear our table. The food was usually gone or the last tiny bit and the omelette station was maned by someone who was complaining about having to work on a Sunday. Huge waste of money for me. We were really excited to go too.
Our reservations for 7 people to celebrate our 50th anniversary was for 5:30 on Sunday evening November 19th. The restaurant was not busy. My wife and I arrived a few minutes early, were greeted and seated and served our beverages promptly. The rest of our party arrived and were seated. Their drink orders were taken and served promptly. We requested a few more minutes to order. When our waitress returned we ordered. 15 minutes later she returned to inform two of the ladies that the kabobs that had been ordered were not available. The ladies reordered. When our salads were served my wife did not receive hers. When I mentioned that to the waitress she said she thought my wife had ordered a shrimp salad as her entree. She had in fact ordered the shrimp dinner with a baked potato and a salad with Ranch dressing and had pointed to the menu when ordering to clarify. Our waitress apologized and went to the kitchen to make the correction. Our meals were served but my second drink order sat at the bar for so long that I almost got up and got it myself. The glass of wine I had ordered to be served with my meal also sat at the bar for several minutes after we had our meals. My entree was very good but my side of vegetables was cold. Another of our party had ordered the ribeye and mentioned that it didn't have much flavor and was somewhat tough.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and the food, for the most part, was good. The service was mediocre at best and the wait staff should have been made aware of any items on the menu that were not available. Our bill was a little bit over $200, not a king's ransom, but enough that we would have expected better service on a night that was not busy.
The price was a bit much for the average food offered. You are paying for the atmosphere, I guess.
I now live outside of Denver but on visits home I always hit WeaverRidge first. Great course and friendly staff. We are having our 50th class reunion outing here in Sept. and can't wait to tee off. This might be the best course in Illinois.
Fantastic experience. The course is in top notch shape. It's very underpriced for how great the course is
What a great buffet for Mothers Day. Enjoyed very much.
We had a Retirees Luncheon we had a very good meal.
Went there for a craft sale. Beautiful venue, staff very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful course but questionable maintenance...sand traps terrible.
I like it a lot and I can be that job a lot of experience
Needs help. Staff is nice but management is letting place go. Course is worse every year
Bartender was awesome and served great food. Student Nurse. Working hard for supporting her family and husband who serves our military. Support Weaver. Support her and our troops. Youngin at home.
Nice easy going local place to have a drink or meal.
Filet special with mashed potatoes and vegetables and citrus salmon was excellent.
Great food, attentive staff, convenient parking. WeaverRidge has it all in a lovely setting. We were there for a customer appreciation dinner meeting this time, but we have always felt appreciated at this classy but accessible venue.
One of the better courses in central Illinois. But the condition of the course has deteriorated from years past. Staff was great!
