I walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon with the intent to test drive a used car and nothing more. Nathaniel Woolwine was my salesperson and he was so accommodating! I changed my mind a million times, drove one car twice and took out many other models for test drives. After Nathan's incredibly patient help I felt confident with my choice (a Certified Used CX-7) and couldn't be more pleased with the whole purchase process. There was never any pressure, financing was a breeze and no one could beat Walser's lifetime extended warranty offer. If you want to have FUN looking for a new or used vehicle Nathan is the guy to see! Very knowledgeable about Mazda's product and everything else on their lot (I drove other makes too), easy to work with and you can tell that the entire dealership staff likes to smile. Well done Walser and give your employees Nate Woolwine and Bret Juedes (General Manager) a pat on the back!

Purchasing a new car at Walser-Madza was a pleasurable experience. Their posted no haggle price is the best you are going to get from Walser. ( I tried)
The sales agent met us at the door, ( Aldo Garibay ) we worked with him throughout the sale. He was very personable and professional.
I have two minor criticisms of the overal purchase experience.
1. We walked in with stock number in hand, took a test drive and bought the vehicle. We were at the dealer for 4 1/2 hours. In their defence they are converting to "e" documents but still using paper docs had to sign both "e " and paper docs. Still a long process.
2. There is a disconnect with their call center and the dealership. I was called three times for things I had already done. I had made an appointment for a test drive. Called after we sumitted our loan application, asked to make an appointment, Called the day after the sale to tell me I missed my appointment and did I want to reschedule.

My experience here was most excellent. I did research in advance and had a solid idea of what car I wanted to purchase. Marija facilitated this for me and was extremely helpful. The optional purchases were explained to me in a descriptive manner, which I really appreciated. Marija has answers for all my questions. I was very happy with the entire experience. I highly recommend.

This was probably on of the most intense & stressful experiences of my life but not because of Walser Mazda, but because of my poor Credit!! Just a little FYI to the readers on here: DONT MESS YOUR CREDIT UP!! lol but if you need someone who would be willing to find anything to help you or give you that second chance, Walser Mazda is the PLACE!!! They helped me get my Nissian Rogue yesterday!! Alex Mayhoefer, Matt & their team went above and beyond to help me and my dad get a car for me!! Ive tried 7 places before here & they all denied me/never called me back!

Thank you again to the Walser Team!! You guys are the best! I plan on sticking with them in the future!!

& Also great job to the All-State team there! Chuck you're amazing!!

I've purchased four vehicles over the past 13 tears from this dealership. Much like Goldy Locks I found some vehicles too small and some too big depending on the needs of my family at the time. Now on my second CX5 I can happily say it was an easy decision to purchase my forth vehicle here. Everyone from sales, managers, technicians, and service managers are always helpful, know me by name, and have taken great care of me over the years.

I had a lease from a different make that was expiring in March 2020. I was interested in the CX-5 because of the online reviews. I wondered if it made financial sense to lease a 2019 as the dealers were getting the 2020 models in stock. I made an appoint to talk with Jack Michaelson. He listened very well and showed me my options. In a short time I had turned in my old lease car and drove home in a new 2019 CX5 at a significant savings over the life of the lease.

Hey all, just wanted to share what an amazingly easy, painless process this was for me. I was shopping for a vehicle on the internet, decided on the make and model I wanted (Mazda6 Grand Touring) and contacted a few of the dealers with what I thought was pretty good pricing. Out of the ones I contacted, the only dealer whose priced matched what I found online was Walser. I worked with Alex, who was amazing in helping me work through the paperwork and arrange details for picking up the car later in the week. We did most of the forms online by digitally signing (which Alex sent to me.) He was very clear and communicative about what the process was like, answered all my questions about the various forms, answered any questions I had about the vehicle itself, and was just generally a great person to work with. Later in the week, when I picked up the car, the process took a grand total of about 5 minutes at the dealer, most of which was signing the few forms remaining that required a physical signature. Easiest car buying process I've ever done, and they don't try do lure you in with fake internet pricing, only to inflate it when they get you in person. Would definitely recommend.

Lucas is a wonderful sales representative of your company! He helped me continually to find the right vehicle for my son. Even though it wasn t a Mazda I was looking for!

Lucas is a very friendly person and does not make me feel pressured into buying anything. He wants me to be very satisfied and happy with my decision.Lucas is very knowledgeable with his high tech materials but explained everything I as a 79 year old grandmother didn t always understand.

I would gladly call on Lucas if and whenever I needed to purchase another vehicle. Lucas should be valued as an outstanding sales representative of your company and should definitely deserve five stars!

I had a great experience at Burnsville Walser Mazda! Got a new 2017 Mazda CX-5 a couple weeks ago and still loving it! Staff was nothing but professional and friendly. Aldo was my salesman and proved to be very helpful and knowledgeable from the moment I stepped through those doors. I was never pressured and we went through not only my wants but also my needs. My problem started in May and it is now November, not a call or a letter. I am about to make another call today, 11/04/16, and see if I get A RESPONSE!

Last week I purchased a new 2015 Mazda 3 i Grand Touring from Walser Mazda, Burnsville, MN. Working with Dana, my Customer Specialist, was a pure delight. Having worked with several dealers in the past, her not-pushy friendliness, patience, and deep knowledge of the finer points of not only the vehicle but its entertainment system, Walser's service contract, even the underwriter of their insurance, was truly impressive. I would absolutely work with her again any time and suggest her to anyone looking for a new car.

The sales manager, Ethan, who worked with was also very friendly and frequently stopped by to chat if Dana was elsewhere working on paperwork. Though friendly to the point of seeming almost cheesy, but I sincerely believe he was still genuine.

The entire staff at Walser seemed invested in ensuring my experience and their customer service met every expectation and desire.

CON: No negotiating (also a Pro if you're not a slick car salesman yourself), Not as much free service/maintenance offers as other dealers
BOTTOM LINE: Recommend purchasing here if they have your car at the right price.

I came into the Walser Mazda dealership knowing that I wanted a Mazda 3; it was only a question of finding one at the right price. The sticker prices on the cars are cut by some standard discounts that apply across the board, and after including the dealer discount the prices were actually at or below some of the online price calculators I had run for this region.

The sales staff were enthusiastic without being overbearing, reasonably knowledgeable about their product, and respectful of my decision-making process. If you're above-average in car knowledge, you might find you have detailed questions the staff can't answer, though. My salesman was Aaron Birkeland; good guy, and he answered all the questions I personally had about the car.

The extra services offered at this dealer tend to be "add-on" packages or service plans with an extra cost. They do have a free car wash card they'll mail you after the purchase of a vehicle. If you are really hard on your vehicles it may pay to buy the "lifetime" warranty extension. I do like having the option of taking my car here for specialized service, since they've got a full garage in back.

Walser Mazda is also a no-negotiation dealer, and they're really serious when they say that. I suppose I was a bit of a difficult customer because the car I decided on was slightly above the amount I wanted to spend, and I tried to get them to come down just a little to make the sale. If you're into haggling, take note: the management respectfully held to their "non-negotiator" position, and I ended up leaving the dealership to see if I could find my vehicle for a bit cheaper.

Within 15 minutes of leaving, I had three voicemail messages, including from the general manager, saying that they'd found another car in their inventory--same model, same everything--at a better discount, but had simply overlooked it earlier. Yeah, you can say they just wanted to make a sale, but they made an effort to find my car in the price range I needed, not just write me off as too difficult and move on to the next guy. I actually respect that. The other car was the right price, so I ended up going in to do the paperwork that afternoon.

Definitely worth your time to check out Walser Mazda. Five stars for making me a satisfied customer.

Planned on going to three or four dealerships for test drives before deciding. Well Mazda was the first scheduled for the day and I unexpectedly couldn't get to the dealership because I had just sold my car. Jeff was nice enough to send Sam Beavens my way to pick me up for the test drive. Anyway, long story short ended up working with Sam and Brian Collins and we seriously had the best time, they were awesome and easy to work with. Sam and I hit it off from the moment we met and overall, I think I laughed more during that car buying then I have with any other car experience. Walked away with my brand new car and an AWESOME experience from Sam & Brian!

Katrina was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our car buying process took place over the course of a week as we shopped around and considered all our options. They were willing to discuss new and used vehicles with us, and offered to bring us to any of the other Walser locations if we wanted to look as something on a different lot.

She were very patient and we never felt pushed in to making a decision one way or the other. We have enjoyed our brand new Mazda 3 Touring for the past 6 weeks.

Update - I've taken my car to Walser Mazda for many years. I continue to be amazed by there Outstanding service, and quality they provide for my Mazda vehicles.

2018 Update - I continue to be impressed by the quality and service at Walser Mazda. I was looking for an upgrade for my car and provided the requirements on the part I was looking to obtain. Walser's sale team did all the leg work and scheduled the install of the part which is allowing me to enjoy my Mazda even more. Thank you to Cedric for helping me out. I am very happy with with the part and service you provided! Keep up the great work!!!

I have shopped around, but I continue to find myself going to back to Walser Mazda for their outstanding customer service, and quality. This is my third car from Walser Mazda I have purchased. I of course was very happy with how everthing went with the deal. Alex Grasdalen answered all our questions with professionalism and class. It was a relatively easy transfer to go from my Mazda3 and get into my CX-5. We had also worked with Scott Myers who had ultimately helped us pick out our specific car and the soul red color is GORGEOUS. We knew that this one would be perfect for us and our puppy Dixie. Matt Cardenas also was helpful in securing the vehicle and putting together numbers and expectations for us. Overall, a seamless transaction! Thank you guys at Walser Mazda!

I had scheduled a home delivery test drive for today with Lucas Johnson for a 2013 Toyota Camry. However, after 10 minutes of our scheduled time he didn t show up. No calls, texts, email, nothing. So I called the number he had initially contacted me at and I heard a pick up then hang up. I then just left it at that as I had another test drive scheduled. I later checked their website and the vehicle was marked as sold . Very unfortunate as Lucas seemed to have been a nice fellow. Will be taking my business elsewhere that wants it.

EDIT: After seeing the review, Lucas reached out to me and left me a voicemail as well as a detailed text stating to me what happened. He stated that he meant to send me an email notifying me of the sale of the vehicle but did not successfully hit send which led to the miscommunication. I understand that mistakes can happen and do appreciate Lucas reaching back out to me as that does show good customer service. I ve changed the 1 star to 3 as I don t believe Lucas had ill intention. I will consider reaching back out to Walser Mazda in the future.

My fiancee and I recently bought a car from Walser Mazda last week. We were lucky enough to get help from the employee Josh. He did a great job and he definitely made us feel confident about our decision to buy the car we did. Of course there was still the expected anxiety that goes along with every major purchase, but Josh managed to make it as painless as possible. We also didn't feel overly pressured as we normally do when we go into pretty much every car dealership, so that was a nice change of pace. We're very happy with our car and happy with the service we received. Thanks.

My family and I have been buying from Walser Mazda for the past 6-8 years and couldn't be more happy with our decision! They have provided us with the best quality vehicles and even better costumer service! I leased a 2014 Mazda 3 as my first vehicle and recently upgraded to a new 2016 Mazda 3 for a very affordable cost. I am leaving this review with the expectation that
(1) my dispute will be resolved as soon as possible, (2) no other buyer will go through this experience, and (3) training will be enforced regarding protected data moving forward.

TLDR: Walser Burnsville Mazda is in violation of the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) for pulling my credit without my consent until they properly submit the required Inquiry Deletion Request to Equifax. Additionally, there is a lack of expediency to ensure confirmation of closure for their wrongdoing.

The Full Story: I visited Walser Burnsville Mazda on Saturday October 12th with the intention to test drive and pay cash for a specific vehicle. The test drive went as expected, so I gave the green light and was ready to complete the purchase (my last vehicle was purchased from this dealership, so I felt comfortable giving them my business). The sale close-out procedure is where my confidence and trust in this dealership was damaged.

Paying cash (check, specifically), I expected the process to be quick and painless - no financing, and thus, no credit or rate checking required! This is where I was WRONG.

I was provided a FINANCING Application, with the assurance that Walser requires a credit check to verify the identity of their purchasers. As someone who works in Corporate compliance and interprets contracts for a living, this was a red flag for me. I politely read the FINANCING Contract verbiage, expressed my concerns on why I would need to sign a FINANCING Application when I was paying cash, and was told the contract was simply to cover general verbiage.

I quickly inquired on alternative options, EXPRESSLY stating that I did NOT want my credit pulled and would NOT sign that contract if that was the intended outcome. Walser confirmed that a certified check would be a suitable alternative in place of a credit pull, so I obliged and was willing to continue with the sale. I just purchased a home and started a small business, so I am in after-care treating my precious score with kit-gloves.

This is where the entire experience went south. As I was waiting for the final numbers to cut the check, I received a notification on my phone that a new hard inquiry had come in from Walser Burnsville . Imagine my surprise in that moment when I had signed NO paperwork for them to run my credit! Naturally, I brought the inquiry to my Sales Representative s attention, to which he replied that they had NOT pulled my credit. I showed him the new inquiry so there was no confusion in reviewing the hard (pun intended) facts.

Though apologetic, the line that really affirmed the situation for me was when I was told, and I quote, The good news is you have EXCELLENT credit and we won t need that certified check! A. I know I have excellent credit, which is why I use credit sparingly and monitor my score. And B. If running my credit was the only option to purchase the vehicle, I would have immediately taken my business elsewhere. I felt taken advantage of, mistreated, and overlooked until they could see with their own eyes that, wow, this person can actually afford to pay cash.

I was quickly assured that this would be handled ASAP - which, hey, mistakes happen so let s get this resolved! It was a Saturday, so I patiently waited for normal M-Fri business hours to kick in for Walser to do their part with Equifax to put this behind us. Over a week has passed, and calling Equifax (DAILY), the Inquiry Deletion Request has yet to be properly submitted.

Equifax has confirmed that the same system Walser used to pull my credit is the same system they need to leverage to submit the inquiry deletion request. Though the Walser GM s correspondence has been friendly, the delayed responses and actions exhibit this is not being handled with the expediency that is required to right the illegal action done.

I need to be contacted with confirmation that this has been properly resolved by end of business Monday 10/21, or I will have to proceed with legal action.

We were shopping for a new car for my wife. I saw a 2005 Mazda 3 at Walser Mazda that had a great price. After buying a car last year from Walser and having an excellent experience, we decided to try Walser again. We were NOT disappointed!

Taylor from Sales helped us with our purchase. After researching Google reviews, we found her name mentioned in good reviews several times. My wife asked for her by name....everyone else that comes to Walser Mazda should ask for Taylor everytime! She's incredible, knows the cars she's selling (including the mechanical details, not just if it has a cupholder or not), and is completely upfront and honest (these salespeople are non-commissoned, paid hourly wages so when they're helping you, it's not to put you into something you don't want or can't afford). She took us on a test drive & the car drove excellent. There was a bubble inside one of the tires they noticed while washing it. The service center put on a new tire free of charge. They apologized profusely, but Taylor came to the rescue with her excellent customer service. We had been there since 9:30am (it was about 1:30pm when the tire problem arose) and we were hungry! She offered to get us lunch while we waited for the new tire....now don't expect a free dinner when you come to see her but that's what I call going above and beyond for your customer. At that point, we had signed on the dotted line and the car was ours. Taylor didn't have to do another thing for us but she did and then some!

This was such an incredible experience and cannot thank Taylor and the rest of the Walser Mazda staff for their help with putting my wife in a great Mazda!

(By the way, did I mentioned Taylor also came in on her DAY OFF to do all this...great, great service again!)

I needed to have my airbag replaced due to a recall. They got me into the shop the same afternoon and had it fixed quickly. They also found some items that needed attention but they didn't pressure me to do everything that day like some places will. I appreciate that and had a belt replaced, but the rest will wait.

Service managers are always helpful, friendly, and seem very honest and sincere. A great experience.

So I bought a CX-5 almost a year ago. The experience in shop was pretty great. The sales associate we worked with was very understanding of our needs for a car and helped us find a pretty perfect match. A year later, I am still very happy with the car.

The reason I took 10 months is the things that happened during the transaction which have left quite a bitter feeling about the entire process. I had already planned on getting financed through my credit union which would have guaranteed 2.9 APR as they are associated with my work. During the application process (as I had asked for a purchase agreement but was told that the associate wanted to earn my business and ignored me saying my bank closes at noon) I actually had two different applications submitted. I am not sure if all the numbers I was shown are completely accurate as I was shown the 2.9 APR that I had requested, but it would have to be a 6 year loan to get the rate. At this point my bank had closed and we were now getting pressure to take the car off the lot that day since we had "picked" our car about an hour and a half earlier. I can deal with the longer loan, but looking at paperwork after the fact I have a 3.46 APR.

In addition, looking through we questioned why the payments were so high compared to what we were shown and noticed that there was a 2600 dollar fee on the loan that was a financing fee and was not previously disclosed. We would not have financed with Walser and would have waited until Monday when our credit union opened to complete the sale instead.

When I went in to have some heaters installed in the seats, I had also asked for a copy of the warranty that we were sold on as we were told it only excludes about 7 things - all of which were consumables (breaks, tires, etc) and that if any of the electronics went out that we would be taken care of. When I got the copy of the warranty (which another associate mentioned that I should have received this with the purchase agreement, and that it was a problem), I found that it was basically a roadside assistance program for another couple thousand on the loan. So basically, while I definitely rushed into this, the non-disclosure of major financing fees and incorrect explanation of the warranty are major issues to watch out for, look for somebody trying to flip between screens so you can t keep up with the loan info, pressure to sign, delays against ignored requests ie our credit union closing at 12, and make sure you are given all the paperwork before agreeing to anything. Maybe even take it home to see what you were misinformed about...

What a wonderful experience at a car dealership! Everyone I met was extremely helpful and welcoming and did not pressure me to buy at all. I worked with Eric Gunderson and he made sure that I had an incredible experience buying my first car. He walked me through all of my options and made sure I understood each of my options before making my decision. I went to multiple dealerships before heading to Walser Mazda (both other Mazda dealerships and other dealerships in general) and Walser was beyond the best experience. I don't live very close to Walser Mazda but it was the only place I felt comfortable going back to when I decided I was ready to purchase my new car (definitely worth the longer drive). At other dealerships, I was pressured to buy on the spot and Eric made sure I didn't feel any pressure and he reassured me that I did not need to make the decision to buy that hour, that day, or even that week. Because of the low pressure environment at Walser Mazda, I 10/10 recommend Walser Mazda to all of my friends and family. I will definitely be buying future Mazda's here as well! And I would suggest working with Eric if you get a chance, he made the process stress-free and fun.

I found Burnsville Mazda dealership had great ratings, i stopped in where Kristen greeted me at the door making me feel welcome & comfortable. She proceeded to help me find a Mazda with in my price range after looking for just the right fit. I like my car, and the price was reasonable. There's the good part of this review. Now, having said that, I don't think that I would choose do deal with Walser again under any circumstance. Their attention to detail was not impressive. They asked me to pay in full for the car prior to delivery to help their sales numbers. When I did take delivery on the car it was not prepped correctly - the interior was dirty and it actually had a broken part that we identified during the test drive and they failed to rectify. I don't think they had bad intentions, or that they were trying to screw me. I just think that they were lazy, their internal communications were terrible, they did a embarrassingly bad job of communicating with me and they acted like they were doing me a huge favor by selling me a car. In short - the whole process was very unprofessional. From a customer service standpoint, this was a train wreck. I do, however, enjoy the car.

Edit: In the time since I wrote my review, Walser reached out to me and did pretty much everything they could to make my situation right. I was pretty impressed with the final outcome, and I appreciate the effort they put into taking care of me. It was initially a frustrating situation. Having said that, they did right by me in the end. Thanks, Walser!

My experience at Walser Mazda was wonderful. Anna Smith was exceptionally helpful. I knew what I was looking for in a car when I went in, but I didn't know what my options would be or if I'd be able to find a car that fit all of my criteria. Not only was Anna able to offer me a variety of options from all of the Walser Dealerships, but she also explained to me what the pros and cons were of each. She researched and compared specifications for me and went out of her way to make sure I was completely satisfied. Although I have not made my mind up yet (I just started my search), I know that I'll be able to find the perfect car with Anna's help!

In mid-February I lost my SUV to a bad accident and was immdiately compelled to look for a new replacement vehicle. After some research, I decided to focus on gently used Honda Pilots. There were about 8 of them availeble in the Metro area which appeared to meet my needs. One of them was at Walser Mazda in Burnsville. It was there that I met Alini Phomphakdy, a Customer Specialist. I found Alini to be articulate, straightforward and low-key. On the other hand, she was always available to to answer questions and provide clear-cut information regarding the vehicle that I was interested in. When the time came to close the sale, Alini handled the transaction in an efficient , but relaxed manner, recognizing that I was still dealing with the aftermath of losing my previous vehicle.

Alini, it has now been over two months since I drove away in my "new" Honda Pilot. It was a good decision and I sincerely thank you for your patience, kindness and assistance in walking me through the purchase.

I love this dealership. This is the second car I have leased from them and I will keep going back. Everyone is very professional. Their prices can't be beat. I love the no haggle pricing. And you really see it if you compare them online to other dealers. This is not my closest Walser or Mazda dealership but I drive further just to go here.
Stephen helped me with my recent lease and he was very responsive via e-mail. Even on his days off! He was flexible, professional and answered all of my questions promptly. It was a great experience.
