I went to Walzer Mazda in Burnsville after my husband and I did a lot of research on SUV's and the Mazda CX-5 was one I wanted to look at. We were downsizing from two cars to one car and wanted to upgrade to a new model and Walser Mazda had no issue with a two-car trade in. Brian Collins was my sales consultant, and he was very easy to work with. He listened while I told him what I wanted in a car, and then we sat down in the CX-5 which was on the floor. He explained everything about the car to me and once I decided it had what I wanted, we went for a test drive. During the entire test drive, Brian Collins, pointed out a few things and made sure I drove the car on roads where I could test out the handling, power, etc. When we returned to the dealership, I told Brian Collins that I was going to test drive another car or two before making a final decision. Ten days later went back to Mazda to test drive the car once more and bought the car. During the entire experience, Brian Collins was very courteous, never tried to sell me something I did not want, and very comfortable to work with. If you are looking to buy a new car, talk to Brian Collins at Walser Mazda because he afforded me the best car-buying experience I have had in my life. By the way, my husband and I love our 2016 Mazda Grand Touring CX-5!

Had a wonderful time driving a beautiful cx5. Stephen Flemal showed me the all of the features and the route he had us take showed exactly how the car handles in all different situations. I would highly recommend him. If you go to walser Mazda ask for Stephen, he will treat you with respect while keeping a funny upbeat attitude along the way!

As fair as Customer Service. This location has proven that some American Ford Dealerships Customer Service; have gone Down Hill re: be-on Called of Duty.

I stop by for brief questions & it was a point to be a Pressure to be my service. Cars have gotten more complex. Interesting after owning Fords for years; I had no knowledge re: Mazda.

We were between a Mazda CX-5 and another comparable SUV. We liked both, but the care and customer service at Mazda was the selling point, specifically our sales representative Jason Bourneman. If you come here, ask for Jason first. Down to earth, answers all your questions, very knowledgeable on products, differences between trim models and an all around great guy. 5/5 stars for Mazda, 7/5 stars for Jason.

I purchased my used car here the other day and am very pleased with the customer service, no pressure, no hassle, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. The salesman Alex Meyhoefer was ready for me even though I showed up a little earlier than my appointment time. I purchased the car just the day after it was taken on a trade so it didn t have time yet to be detailed, though they assured me it would be taken care of at my convenience. They really seemed to put the customer first and weren t pushing any kind of agenda. It s nice to have an unbiased professional help with the process. I highly recommend walser Mazda for purchasing a vehicle. The price was fair, and you know you re going to get a highly reconditioned vehicle that is fully inspected, along with the included walser warranty (though I did opt for the additional warranty too). I can t speak to the service department or other amenities at the facility but the sales experience was perfect.

Absolutely great experience with Walser Mazda, Alex is such a professional and honest person to work with. Their philosophy is one low price, an great customer service. All paperwork was done online and their rates are good. Their Sign & Drive program is great, everything was ready for me to pick up my new car after a couple of hours. They even paid for my first month of the lease!! I would definitely recommend to anyone buying a new car going to Mazda and look for Alex to get an outstanding service!

I was filled w/ so much anger and frustration with...

I was filled w/ so much anger and frustration with the way this dealership had treated us, it was shady! My wife and I had been shopping across the country for a particular Mazda CX9 and we were moving forward with purchasing one from this dealer with a subject to inspection since we live out of state. The salesman assisting (for the record) was very good to us. He was professional, followed up on our calls, and provided us with good customer service. He had checked with his superiors for approval on the hold prior to us ordering the inspection. Once he told us he got the ok, we went ahead and ordered the inspection. Salesman asked if we were buying cash or financing, I told him we were financing, and we also have pre-approved finance in place and would just need the vehicle & dealership info once the vehicle was identified. He'd then asked for our ID and our approved finance contact info. We provided everything he'd asked for in good gesture that we were serious buyers. This took place on a Saturday which is also the day inspection was ordered online. Inspection was scheduled Tue. Tuesday comes and all of a sudden I get a call from our sales guy and multiple calls and msgs from various people from the dealership, including the Manager Tuesday aft.. I couldn't answer my phone in the middle of work so responded in text to our sales guys and provided an update with the inspection company. The inspection company mentioned that they had bad weather conditions so the inspection was rescheduled for Wed (the following day). I also called the manager back since he'd left a msg to call back. Wasn't able to get a hold of him so I left him a voicemail acknowledging his call. I also sent our salesman a snapshot of the communication thread with the inspection company just to let him know and for him to let his higher ups know the status. The following morning (Wed) the General Manager called and gave me the news that he gave the ok to most likely another one of his salespeople to sell the vehicle that our salesman originally had on hold for us.... Definitely not the news I wanted to hear despite what our salesman had already arranged. To top it off, the inspector shows up with nothing to inspect and makes me pay for an inspection that was never performed!!! My impression of the General Manager was - shady. I felt all functions of good customer service traits were set aside for the purpose of a "quick sale". A few hours later, another representative who supposedly oversees the multiple dealerships calls trying to remedy the situation and an attempt to make up for what happened. I wont close the door on the opportunity for him to do that in all fairness since he made an effort to reach out, but I'm not exactly sure how they're going to do that, especially now that I have to deal with an angry wife because of what had just happened. Until that time comes of good resolution, this would be a 0-1 star rating.

I recently replaced a 12 year old Mazda 3 with a 2020 CX-5. I would give the Burnsville Mazda service department almost 5 stars as they always fixed my Mazda 3 problems the first time. You may pay a lot at the dealer but getting something fixed correctly the first time is worth it to me. My experience with the sales department on my 2020 CX-5 while not awful is not what you would expect from a premium dealer. Some of the sales people seemed to use the old school pressure tactics. After picking up my new vehicle I noticed blemishes on the paint which the dealer passed off as from being sitting outside for a long time before the sale...almost like these were what you get. I found this response completely unacceptable for a vehicle with only 13 miles on it, brand new. The solution was the sales person coming out with a towel and bottle of alcohol to rub on the blemishes; this really didn't do much. They said plastic wrap can get stuck on the paint. I do not know if it was plastic wrap, dirt or something else. Over several months I believe most of the blemish areas look better. I did a lot of hand scrubbing and hand washing. Now I am having an issue where I asked the sales department to remove an optional coverage from my car and after a month it has not been completed yet. The outside company carrying the coverage said it should take 24-48 hours to come over electronically from the dealer. If these are the experiences you get from a premium dealer then I don't think they know what a premium experience should be.

They quickly diagnosed the cause of a CHECK ENGINE light and got the replacement part ordered. My car was ready when promised.
I have used their service department for ten years and have always received great service. Because of this I might be buying my next vehicle from Walser Mazda.

It was an amazing experience at Walser. I was welcomed the moment I walked in the door. Even though they closed in an half hour they were still willing to take me out on a test drive. Brian was extreamly knowledgable anwering all my questions. The next morning I came back to purchase. Brian worked hard to find a a few discounts to bring the monthly payments right where I needed them to be. The GM continually checked on us and ensures all was well. Everyone there was very kind, such awesome customer service. I absolutely LOVE my new car, it is everything I was looking for, Brian and Walser Mazda found it all for me. THANK YOU! I will be coming back and telling all my friends to come as well.

They made sure I understood everything and were very understanding and supportive, they had me laughing and making it a painless process. I will also say, they even said they would hold my hair if I threw up....lol. seriously, they were great! Can't get much better than this team! Great job!

I worked directly with Tim Kahlow primarily via email. His responses were always very timely and informative. He helped me get the paperwork done and get the car I wanted purchased with no hiccups. It was a very pleasant experience. If you haven t been out to any of the Walser dealership before, I highly encourage you to stop out. It is a beautiful dealership just off the main stretch in Burnsville. The staff is very pleasant and professional at the Mazda location which is where I bought my Mazda6 from.

Previously I gave Walser a solid review before i felt i waited three hours for noting.
My car had a loud rattle coming from the right rear and the techs couldn't locate it. Said they checked the suspension, but apparent they didn't.
Two days later I brought my car to a garage I always do oil changes at and they found a broken spring. How can you miss that?
The shop took care of the issue, unlike Walser.

Updated 1/28/17: I ended up buying the Mazda CX-9 Signature version from here. Thanks to Bret who followed up with me regarding my bad experience on a timely manner. I decided to go back once again and Bret did all arrangements for my second opportunity. Kudos to Nate who was my salesperson, friendly and helpful in buying process end to end. Horrible. I was looking to add a 7-seater to my fleet and went to check new Mazda CX-9 on last Thursday. They gave me a lady salesperson (I am not mentioning her name over here since I don't want to ruin her career). I drove on highway for 0.5 miles only and my test drive ended up in the blink of an eye. And then comes the question "Do you like it"? I am looking for other vehicles options also and all the sales reps were very cooperative. Here, she just gave her card and that's it. I didn't get a price quote or current offers, and no followup till date. And yes, I have been to other Walser locations, they were good. I don't understand why Walser Mazda decided to go in a rough route. I went to another Mazda dealer yesterday and their response was fantastic. I took my time for the test drive, gave me their price quote, current offers, different finance options if required and also followed up via email to confirm everything is good.

We purchased a CX-5 last weekend and had a wonderful experience. The Walser staff was beyond helpful. Our salesperson, Miko Freeman, walked us through all the features with patience and we never felt pressured or rushed. Even when we were considering the extra features and debating whether we wanted to spend more, Miko pointed out exactly what an upgrade would include and under which circumstances we would or wouldn't need the extra technology. Two thumbs up for all the staff - they were attentive, welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable. We love our new vehicle!

I had an awesome experience with Walser Mazda. I was looking for a used vehicle and had found a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ which I was interested in but only half-heartedly. By the time I decided it was a very good deal and I should not pass it up the vehicle was sold. I had been driving my current vehicle for 14 years so I really wanted to make sure I found something that wowed me. I spoke with Dana who said she would try and locate another vehicle that fit my specifications. She found me a vehicle the same day. It was a 2011 Chevrolet Impala LS which had all the bells and whistles on it and when I saw it and test drove it the next day I fell in love. Dana made the buying process pretty painless and was very good at explaining each step to me so I was not overwhelmed. I would definitely send anyone to Walser Mazda to buy a vehicle used or new. (And I would definitely recommend them to request Dana. Thanks for the wonderful experience and the awesome ride!!!

I absolutely loved doing business here, we were able to walk around and sit in the cars without anyone coming up and bombarding us with sales tactics. Once I made the decision to look into the mazda 6 we walked up to Sal who gave us prices and options. Aldo brought us out to test drive and answered all our questions very professionally. Bret worked with me on my trade in. The interactions with all of these people were very respectful and even fun and is how car buying should be done. They even all stayed 2 hours after the store had closed that Saturday and we never once felt rushed to make the deal or leave. Major props to your team and thank you again for this awesome customer service!!!!! And not to forget I leased my 2016 Mazda 6 at great deal and gave it the two week test before writing this review. I absolutely love my new car and I'm becoming a Mazda freak! Thank you see you in three years.

Stopped in on a Saturday and worked with Stephen and Michelle, both helped me in a difficult time to get me into a new car and a better situation than what I had. I greatly appreciate all the help both from Michelle initially for suggesting a Mazda 6, to Stephen having the patience of working with me a second day to get everything finalized, Michelle also deserves recognition for cooling me down from what could have been a make or break scenario.

Alex is a charmer, who just so happens to know what he is doing. Very informative, knowledgeable beyond words and has a great personality.
He answered all my questions without hesitation, (didn't have to double check or ask)answered ones I didn't know to ask, and didn't get scared during my test drive. Excellent rating in my book. And if I ever have questions or concerns or problem, I have his cell number!!

While their sales department isn't bad, the service department leaves a lot to be desired. They don't honestly and actively listen to their customers. To date they still haven't even attempted to fix a shudder in my car, dismissing it as being "normal" solely because the computer diagnostics don't reveal anything. Utterly ridiculous.

Yesterday my partner and I bought a 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring w/ Tech Package from Brian Collins. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. Brian is very welcoming and friendly and is not your typical "car salesman." He's knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we both had regarding the CX-5. Since Walser doesn't negotiate, pricing was incredibly easy to understand. Financing was easy and Brian did everything from start to finish, including paperwork! We both highly recommend Brian Collins and Walser Mazda.

THEY ARE AMAZING. I always take my care there for service even though they are 30+ miles away. I took my car in Saturday and was 20 minutes late for my appointment. They still got me in and got oil change done on time. However, I ended up leasing a new car while there. There was some tape residue on the roof and trunk of the car. I took it in Monday after work and they took care of it immediately. I would recommend this dealership 100%. My salesman, Travis, was great.

From Joshua to Kersten to Ethan to Brett and back to Joshua...I could say they were "awesome" ; however, that word has little power these days (as 'awesome' is the new 'Ok').

I will just say that if you are looking for that Car and that Dealership where you get exactly what you hope for in a "customer experience" I heartily and profoundly recommend the Mazda 3s and Burnsville Walser Mazda.

I have never done one of these google reviews - I'm thrilled to do this one!

Best car buying experience ever! I walked into the Mazda Walser in Burnsville by myself, not knowing if I was able to get what I wanted. I came from another dealer next door and didn't like the experience, they were too pushy and not looking out for me. Miko Freeman did just that when I walked in.

Not only was Miko inviting and helpful, all the staff there greeted and offered me something to drink. It was very professional and all about me, what I want and what I could afford.

Miko listened to everything I wanted and he found my car that I went home with that night! At the end of the shopping experience, I went to shake hands to say thank you and a hand shake wasn't enough, we hugged!

Seriously, if you are looking for any car (not necessarily a Mazda) they will work their hardest to make you happy and get what you want. I highly recommend going there for a car...and ask for Miko!

After having a car in the family for 16 years, it finally became the time to buy a new one. At Walser, Scott Myers made everything super smooth and easy for me as it was my first time at a dealership. Research goes a long way, and Scott met me half way with answering my remaining questions. A 2013 Mazda 3 definitely beats a 1999 Honda Accord and I love it.

Great service and very good deals with their new and older models. Plenty to pick from and very reliable cars. Service was great and evening parts department was attentive. Prices for accessories are more than competitive (bought all weather mats). Nice facility if you have to wait as well.

This salesman Tim or Jim, in his 30s I believe prejudged me and did not give me a chance to explain myself. Right on my face he said, "I don't want you to waste my time and I don't want to waste yours " and only preferred to show me just one old mazda in their yard. I wanted a 2018 with several features but he did not care to listen. I did a test drive with him for barely a mile and he asked me to turn back. At the lot he furiously drove off at about 40 miles an hr simply because I did not like the car. That's how I got myself buying something from the nearby Hyundai dealership.

Went in for an oil change on my 2014 CX-5 and left with a 2016 CX-5 - Smaller payments, same features (Grand Touring - Soul Red) and continued exemplarily service from Walser Mazda. Johannah was so easy to work with and answered all our questions, gave us every possible scenario so we could make the best decision possible, and was just all-around comfortable and NOT pressuring to buy from. Bought our CX-5 from Walser Mazda. We went back to purchase an auto start for the vehicle. The wrong unit was installed. In the process the wiring on our brand new car was destroyed. We were then told the auto start model we were promised did not exist and we were out 500 bucks. As well we would have to deal with an ignition system that was electical taped together. We reached out to the sales manager at Walser Mazda but he couldn't be troubled to call us back.
