Wagz is the best place to shop for your pet! The staff is friendly, grooming services are available in-store and even right at your doorstep with their new grooming van. They have a great selection of toys, food and supplies for cats and for dogs and some wonderful programs for recycling your old collars and leashes to buy new products at a lower price. I love this store!
Our dog loves cookies from here. We also found a toy here that she hasn't managed to rip apart.

Fresh dog treats. Healthy chews. And long lasting toys. Staff was super friendly and loved talking about dogs. But, they were also super informative of treats and proper leashes and so forth. Definitely going to go back!!
Everyone here is SO nice.They take such good care of our Aussie when he goes in to get groomed. He has severe anxiety and they really take their time with him. He also looks and smells amazing after. Thank you for all you do!

Our husky struggles with anxiety and is incredibly difficult to groom. When our groomer moved, we were worried about finding someone who could work gently with him, we found exactly that at Wagz. For the past two years, we have taken him in every three/four months (huskies shed a ton!) and had very positive experiences each time.

Grooming Dept is great & reasonably priced to have piece of mind that my older dog is treated with care.
No longer reccomend Wagz. We are a long term customer who come in for grooming for close to two years. Brought my canine in for nail filing and they did not file the nails short, first time this has happened. Called within 24 hours and was not able to be seen until 6 days later. Came in today and was told I would be charged a full price because we did not come in sooner. Ridiculous!! Their explanation: There is nothing they can do because the scheduler was not working today. In shock that this is how Wagz treats long term loyal customers.

This place is amazing. Need more? It took two and a half weeks to get an appointment. For good reason, they're the best. This is the place to take your pet. Hannah, Jessica, and Hunter are the MOST amazing people. Jessica helped me fit a harness to my Sheltie (like, she moved the straps around and everything to get the perfect fit). They were done in less time than stated with the cut/ and I told them to do what they recommended. And Suzy Q turned out like a new puppy. They were the utmost of courteous to my puppy dog.
Don't bother with anywhere else. This. Is. Thee. Place. They have an impressive selection of pet toys, and treats, and even dog puzzles as-well. Despite Amazon, they have a BETTER selection and knowledge. Trust me, I know. I have Amazon Prime, blah blah blah...this place is better. Blah blah blah, don't believe me? Okay, hey that's cool..whatevs DOG. You're loss. This place is a MUST go for anyone who loves their dawg, and wants them to be taken care of by the best.
One last pitch?....They're affordable. I was expecting $50 more than was charged. So, I spent it there.
The only thing that could have been better: I wanted to purchase a personalized doggie tag. Which they have. But they didn't have the colour I wanted....that's it folks. I'm picky about my colours. So take my advice, my dog's advice, and the reviews advice and just go here. I haven't had as much fun shopping for someone in months. And mid pandemic, you owe it to yourself, and your puppy doggie.

Took my puppy to Wagz for her first grooming appointment and the staff was so helpful and understanding. They called me and gave me a 10 minute heads up before she was finished. So quick and convenient and they really do take good care of your pet, my dog did not want to leave!

Wagz recently groomed our two ~14 pound poodle mixes, with short haircuts for the summer. They look amazing, probably the best they've ever looked. We will definitely go back for their next grooming!

I'm so impressed by my experience today! The staff was extremely helpful with his suggestions on dog food and other questions we had. He seemed very knowledgeable, the store was clean and our dog loved the visit. I'm also very impressed on how affordable this LOCAL business is. The store is located in the heart of town so I assumed they will be overpriced but I was so shocked after we came home and compared the pricing on the food we bought with the other stores. It was noticeably cheaper than anything we found online, and with the level of care and customer service they provide, we'll be customers forever!
They were so helpful in fitting our German Shepherd with hiking booties. We were glad to be able to buy in pairs to accommodate smaller back paws. We do regret not documenting the first several steps in the new booties-it was silly! They also have a great loyalty program at applies to food, treats and grooming.

I've taken my dog to WAGZ for grooming several times. Anna and the rest of crew are kind and gentle with him and do a thorough job with all aspects of his care from washing, de-shedding, nail trim, and the rest. I recommend making an appointment. They will make them for earlier than the market part of the store opens. Simply ring the bell on the lower right side of door to let them know you are there. Ask about their specials.

Stopped into Wagz with my dog Roxie for a walk-in nail dremeling and some treats. The staff was so friendly to both me and my dog! They got her in within minutes, and were done even faster! Her nails look (and feel) fantastic! We'll definitely come here monthly for some puppy pampering! Thanks, Wagz!
I've never seen a pet store that has had Hanukkah items until today. They had so many cute accessories, this store is amazing!
The groomers are soooooo patient. My dog has always hated getting her nails trimmed, but Wagz changed that. The groomer turned on the dremel and held the machine against her leg so she could get used to the sound and vibrations before they even touched her paws. No one else has ever done that for my dog. It made the experience so much less traumatizing for her and I knew this was the only spot I would ever take my dog to ever again.
Staff is friendly but doesn't jump on your case when you walk in the door, as most sales places do. It's a bit pricey, so truthfully not exactly the place to purchase food, but they have tons of other commodities for animals and I have not seen in other pet stores.

Everyone there is so helpful and they obviously really care about your pet. They will even get to know your pet and recognize them later. They pay attention to detail to make sure we have the best options for our dog. An extra perk of this store is if you need something that they don't carry or have in stock, they will order it for you!

Wagz has always been one of our favorite places to take our pups. We have purchased things from yummy dog treats, beds, shampoos, vitamins, doggie birthday cakes and even Halloween costumes. Wagz always has the best customer service and our dogs have loved everything we get for them there. I highly recommend Wagz for any of your pets purchases!
Amazing work! My pups have never looked better! I ve always had my dogs professionally groomed until moving to a part of Wyoming where there aren t grooming services available. I tried grooming them myself for the last few years until my dogs had enough of my hack jobs. Wagz was absolutely worth the drive from Wyoming! The store has excellent quality pet treats and toys. I read every ingredient list and country of origin when shopping for my dogs, and I left Fort Collins with two beautiful dogs and two large bags of treats and toys!
I take my dog to Wagz primarily for the grooming but the entire staff is very friendly and helpful and they have just about everything you could need for your dog or cat. The grooming is the only place in Fort Collins that I've found that does a great job thoroughly brushing out my Brittany's fur and trimming his nails without breaking them. I highly recommend Wagz Pet Market & Grooming!

Amber works miracles. I have a picky jrt that hates nail trims, he will barely let me do it and I can never do a great job. He LOVES Amber, she even finds creative ways or new products to calm him and he now knows her by name, does well at his appt, gets his nails trimmed AND filed. She is amazing and Wagz is amazing! (yes - my dog officially has a "nail lady")
Other places in town which are cheaper. Also, keep political views to yourself because families like mine don't care what you think and will take our business elsewhere.

Had exactly what we wanted for the puppy and decent prices compared to what I had looked at online and elsewhere.
Been here a few times looking different things. The store is really cute, well organized and kept. Unfortunately they are capitalizing a little too much on the "mom and pop" thing meaning everything is priced too high to be competitive. Also, the customer service has been less than Stella on all occasions, staff seem apathetic and not to care too much if you find what you need or buy anything. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to go here. The posted picture sums up the customer service.

It was alright, not very proactive about COVID19 social distancing.
The only reason it's not a 5-star is because of the prices. Yes, you could find similar items at a big-box pet store, due in part because this is a small business located in Old Town...BUT, you'd be sacrificing the excellent customer service and knowledgeable employees. I have no problem paying a little more for pet supplies from a local business that truly cares about my dog, who is always welcomed warmly here.
I'll honestly admit to being an irresponsible pet-owner. I have a 5 or 6 year old kitty who's never once been professionally groomed. She had developed a rather large fur matte on her lower back and it wasn't something I could brush (nor felt safe cutting out). I took her to Wagz and they were awesome !... They were super helpful/nice and never once made me feel guilty. The grooming was fast and quality.. and they even threw a couple small toys into her crate for free (the catnip "fish" .. she totally plays with every day !)... Wagz is near me, so I was planning on becoming a regular customer anyways,. but the great service really seals the deal.
