Little atmosphere, no more appetizers or cheese platter after 22:00. Only to get nuts.

very full, but very cozy, mainly young audience, food tasted good and relatively cheap considering the good location. Heineken beer very tasty. Service very friendly. I can recommend a visit.

Spacious terrace (among others) by the water. Nice view.
Nice place to enjoy a lovely terrace in the summer. In the winter months regular live music, from classical to jazz.

Stopped for a beer and lunch on the way to the hotel. Great service

Food took over 1h to come despite of we were the only ones that ordered lunch.

The customer service is practically non-existent. There are only 2 people attending everything. Do not expect to be served fast or friendly.

Cozy with the company, but the burger was much smaller than the too dry sandwich. That was better for each other last year.

Waiting for an hour for the wrong appetizers that also contained meat while vega ordered. When I stated this I was not believed. Really had to keep my leg stiff. I turned out to be right. Halfway through my curry I discovered that there was rice in it while the person next to me had almost only rice in it and almost no sauce. Another person next to me got a well-cooked prime rib while weirdly ordered. In short quite a moderate experience. Although financially the mistakes were corrected, I keep a nasty aftertaste to this visit. You will not find me there soon.

Good food and nice place to people watch. They had a great burger and the hot chocolate milk was delicious. House car also added to the charm

Unfortunately, me and my partner will no longer come to Kobalt, we will also take our business partners elsewhere. This is because up to 2 times double reservations were made, as a result of which we (as a prosperous customer) had to make way for the studying friends of staff! Outrageous if you book !!!

Excellent location, gorgeous building, and with friendly people. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for a lazy Sunday, with live jazz during winter and some nice snacks like garlic marinated mushrooms. A pro is that they have a mobile app where you can preorder and pay via PayPal. Occasionally drinks are forgotten and you have to wait longer though.

Eaten tonight with two girlfriends. Everything went pretty wrong. A friend is allergic to pork and despite mentioning bacon on the burger. Got new; again bacon. Very bad and dangerous for her. Operation was confused; two times drinks that were not ours on the table. And the food, by the way, was delicious, came unevenly from each other. And not only the burger but also the salad, so do not eat 'together'. Maybe we were just the 'bad luck table' but unfortunately not a good experience.

Nice cafe with a lot of beer on tap. Also great opportunity for lunch.

Stopped for lunch and a beer. Had tables on the bridge good location to watch people go by. Smell not too bad here. Nice waiter.

Visited this cafe on light Amsterdam. Delicious cappuccino, staff can smile more.

Pity we ate before we found this place...food looked good and it was all local people eating. their prices are reasonable , atmosphere was buzzing

Great cafe to have a drink with friends and you're waiting to take the train in few hours.

Too busy ... could not understand each other ... while you were eating, people were constantly being pressed to drink .. Also, the main course that only came on the table after 2 hours was not cooked and tasted strange.

Don't go here for the food !!!

I had some time to kill and this was a good place - many tables have power outlets, plus it is cheaper than I would expect for the area, so staying longer isn't an issue. The slowness of service some people mentioned here also helps it :D More

Very warm and comfortable ambiance for eating for enjoying a nice warm beverage. Very close to Amsterdam Central train station, we ate dinner here while waiting for a canal cruise (most cruises and ships leave from this general area in Amsterdam). I enjoyed the tomato soup to start and it was absolutely fantastic, you could taste the tomatoes like they were picked this morning. We also had the sweet pancake which was delicious as well. Very fast service and delicious food with a relaxing environment around you, good views of the city streets, and easily accessible to any other part of the city, there is not much else you could ask for.

Relaxed, non touristy place close to the CS. Great service, good offer of beers.

Small, friendly bistro, overlooking the Rijk. Good quality dishes, fresh food and beautiful presentation. Quality / price at the rendezvous! Good address

Food arrived after long wait, starter was good, main course was cassoulet with undercooked beans. We were surrounded by people pushing against us during the main course. Dont eat here on friday evenings!

Cool place, workers are cool, easy, plugs to work on a laptop, not too expensive.
