Enjoyed lunch out on the patio. Food was delicious, waiter was terrific. The hotel smells so good...maybe lemongrass. My cousin was staying there from NY, for work. She loved it. Usually stays somewhere else, but from now on, will stay at that W.

My most favorite w hotel in all of the United States. It's built in a secluded little community in Beverly hills. The outside pool it's so relaxing and enjoyable. It doesn't ever have the rush of the crazy holes in Scottsdale or Los Angeles. if you are willing to take a chance you can park outside and no one will tow your car. Just another way to save a few dollars. The rates are high but certain times of the year you can find some discounts. I highly recommend this w hotel as a former Starwood property

Even though this is a lovely hotel that's adjacent to UCLA's Sorority Row I feel like as a local I need to pop in here and let people know that this hotel is not IN Beverly Hills. There is NO West Beverly Hills. West Beverly Hills is not a thing and it does not exist. This is a perfectly good hotel in Westwood and you can easily drive to Beverly Hills from here in 10-20 minutes depending upon traffic but if you are looking to stay in Beverly Hills this is NOT Beverly Hills.

Its really crummy of the hotel to try and trick you.

We went to The Backyard poolside bar for happy hour. The happy hour drink menu included only beer and wine, no cocktails, which were $16 each. Too expensive for my blood.

We got food, which was really good. It was also quite pretty. Service was okay.

I had a very nice stay at the W. The pool is good compared to other hotels around here, and the people are very nice. They have green apples and water bottles they give out. The only bad thing is the rooms are not sound proof at all. I could hear things from rooms all around us. In the bathroom, there is a vent that leads to other rooms and it s very loud.

So we arrived at around 6:30PM to check into the room we reserved - only to be informed that the room wasn't ready! At 6:30PM. We were told that we'd been upgraded from the Accessible (for disabilities) room we originally reserved (not true) to a suite, and will be called when the room was ready, and the front desk agent gave us 2 drink tickets. We were annoyed but ok with this. An hour later and no call, 7:30PM, we just decided to check back at the front desk to see if we can finally go to a room. The woman was kind of rude and curtly replied that she merely assigned us another room after we asked why no call back. How long were we supposed to wait around? Ugly service here, and the bed in the room must be designed for individuals under 5 feet tall, because I'm of average height and my feet were off the edge. Aside from the inconvenience and rudeness at the front desk, the rest of the hotel staff were perfectly nice, we found the room to be super clean, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Not enough for us to stay here again.

One of the worst experiences at the W hotel. Not a kid friendly hotel, the staff were not helpful or friendly - we didn t know about a number of amenities until our last day. Pool staff were extremely rude and sarcastic. The maid was the only staff person who was pleasant and helpful.

Edgar made us feel like family from the time we walked through the door and it never stopped! We had a five night stay and the level of customer service he provided throughout our entire visit was impeccable. Ask for him or Kayla and you won t be disappointed.

It was our first time to the Hotel. We sat at the bar. The service was not impressive and took 40 min to get our drinks. The parking is valet and with restaurant validation costs $10 otherwise it is $20.

The W Hotel I personally think is the hippest hotel around, they have a super nice vibe with purple and blue lights it just makes a good atmosphere, but in the room i saw a few things I did not like but were minor I just think that some things can be upgraded considering the price of the room I was in..

if i could do a zero star review, i would. this has been by far the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel. we arrived at 2:30 after our long day of traveling. the man tells us our room will be ready in 30 minutes to an hour, and they told us we would get a call when the room is ready. it was around 5:30 and we still haven t gotten a call. we went back to the hotel because our son had a fever, and we needed to get our bags and have him rest in the room. our you room was still not completely ready after 3 hours. we finally get into our room and when i tell you i was shocked, i was very shocked. we had booked the spectacular suite . this room had two tiny double beds, windows that were blocked off, and our heat didn t even work. our son had a fever, so he got a bed to himself, but my other son had no where to sleep. we called and tried to order a cot but we weren t allowed to because the room didn t accommodate that. the staff are very kind and helpful, but the check in staff are a different story. please, please, please. if you are looking for a relaxing, fun trip to la, or you are going for business, don t let this hotel ruin your experience like it ruined ours.

Great location in Beverly Hills. Staff is attentive. There is a Target and Trader Joe s a block or two away if you need something quick. The hotel is minutes away from restaurants and attractions. Definitely worth it. The room we reserved had a master suite with a living room and meeting area, very spacious. It was enough to fit 6 people perfectly.

Great clientele, aesthetically lovely place to relax. The beautiful people come in droves and if you enjoy people watching, the W won't disappoint! All in all a wonderful, pampered atmosphere.

Must be a hotel only used by businesspeople. I stayed at the SLS the night before and this was a tremendous let down after that. Bar staff unprofessional, questionable billing, and lackluster rooms. Pay another $150 and stay at the SLS. Nothing to do around this hotel...

This hotel is great. Customer service is excellent. Room comes with several small bottles of liquor, a tray of snacks and a refrigerator full of refreshments. Which cane really in handy. I also needed a safety pins so I call downstairs and they brought me several in less than 5 min. I would definitely recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The only good part about our experience at this W started and ended with DJ at the front doors. Everything from DJ onward was downhill. Upon entry in to the hotel you will be extremely underwhelmed by the maintenance and upkeep. Having stayed at multiple W chains around the world, this location might as well just be called a super 8. The room was below par and very outdated. The bathroom especially was very low quality which we could tell immediately upon entrance and especially when we took our first shower. This is where the story actually starts and ends.

A few weeks prior to our trip, my wife had died her hair and upon showering, allegedly the residual hair dye in her hair stained the tub. The tub itself was extremely low quality and felt like it was glazed with white out. There wasn't even a glaze clear coat over top of the coloring. We did notice some discoloring on it after her shower and didn't think much of it. Fast forward one week after our stay, this hotel decided to charge us $400 so they could "refinish the tub" without not even once calling or emailing us ahead of time to notify us or give us the opportunity or option to try to fix it ourselves. Had we known they would have operated this way we definitely could have gone to the store our selves and picked up a magic eraser. We had to phone the front desk ourselves a week later to find out what the $400 charge was for which I think is extremely Ludacris and unprofessional. The extremely unsympathetic and unprofessional front end manager Michaela was extremely defensive and aggressive towards us while we were on the phone with her trying to rectify this issue and offered us 0 consolation or options in order to try to make this situation favorable for both parties. Having stayed at multiple five star hotels and 4 star hotels all over the world with my wife's hair color the exact same as it has always being. This has never been an issue once. When we approached this manager Michaela to get a copy of these so-called bills they had to pay to refinish the tub, allegedly these are confidential to the hotel and they do not provide them to guests. When we asked her why nobody at the hotel called to notify us of these charges we were told it was because they didn't have our contact information on file even though it was required when we checked in... they could have just Google searched our names to pull up our direct cell phone numbers. Either way it was a horrible experience at this hotel and continues to be a horrible experience away from the hotel with garbage customer service. You guys can keep your Petty $400 and we will continue to spend our money and time at higher quality establishments going forward.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large and well appointed, and the staff is outstanding. It's a great location if you are going to UCLA or the Westwood Bel Air area. The poolside bar and restaurant is good and worth a stop at least for a drink.

The rooms are old. The hotel is not as nice as you expect it to be at this price. Some of our lights didnt turn off and someone had to come turn them off. There is no view from the small windows. Very outdated. Rather say at the line hotel they have much nicer rooms and vibe. I wouldnt consider this hotel "luxury". It was nice to have water in the lobby.
