W Los Angeles (by Starwood hotels & resorts) Review

The manager did our check in. Unfortunately she recorded our first day as Monday instead Sunday. At the check out on Wednesday, they said "you're supposed to leave Thursday" (because of the manager's mistake). We tried to explain (that was tough) and they said ok, you can leave now and we'll do your check out tomorrow, you'll receive the final bill by e-mail. 2 months later and many e-mails from us, we received the bill. Guess what, the price was more than what the manager said... Furthermore, the room had no heat (broken)

Awesome decor, extremely professional staff. The toiletries were Bliss products so you can imagine the quality of the room, service and cleanliness. I'd definitely stay there again. You have to see it at night. The stairs give you a preview of the elegance inside.

Great location and super friendly, accommodating staff!. The rooms are modern and clean.

The pool party was good, nice food at the hideout restaurant, the dj was not that great tho.

They run the AC in November.. super cold the entire 5 day reservation. This building feels like Alaska - but worse bc no heat . Walls are thin - you can hear everything. Closer you are to the 2nd floor bar or pool the louder it gets. They moved us to a better room which was nice. Overall this the worst W known to man. Not sure how it has the name.

I was there for an event. Very nice concierge cheerfully checked my bag. Bar service was good. Pleasant lobby to lounge in afterwards.

it doesn't live up to its name like the locations in New York or Chicago cuz the one in Hollywood is kind of wack too

Hand rail broke and fell. Would not expect that for$400 a night

Nice spacious room with a comfortable bed. Very close to UCLA. The bar/restaurant downstairs was also very tasty.

Very awful staff. Not considerate about their guests and only care about themselves. I was not happy with the service, and would not ever recommend coming here EVER!!! The staff SUCKS!!!! They are awful.

The atmosphere is serene. It was just breathtaking

After 2 days of searching for a hotel, my husband and I decided on the W hotel, the service was first class the rooms are very clean, and the people are very nice. I recommend this hotel

Great drinks and great staff. The view of the Hideout was absolutely fabulous. A lot of green and running water which is complemented well with the layout and the tables and bar.

W west Beverly hills provides good service. They need focus more on cleanliness

If there was every a place where a W hotel would be the perfect fit, it's Beverly Hills. The modern and trendy style match the surroundings, and it's surrounded by a mostly quiet residential area, which makes for restful stays. The property is a little dated, which is the reason for one less star. For example, the penthouse suite that I was upgraded to had a spiral staircase--notnparticularly luxe or practical.

This review is for the W Chill:
We went to the W to try out the "ice" skating rink under the impression that there was an ice rink. The rink is actually a plastic like material with small puddles of water. It is very hard to skate on since the ice skates don't exactly glide on that sort of surface. I would not ever go there again or recommend it to any of my friends or acquaintances.

The lobby and restaurant in the W hotel look very nice though.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but a lovely area. It has a lovely pool and outside eating and drinking area.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in la. I love the bar, the room, the pool, the restaurant. This place is just perfect and awesome. I highly recommend same here if you thinking about it.

W hotel have very2 beautiful location and we ate at STK which really good addition for this hotel. Valet is $10 with validation
