Desserts looked beautiful, but were not only not tasty, but also spoiled. In fairness, it must be said that they were not included in the bill and the berries were organized as a compliment.

This is the perfect place to stay. Right on the Nevsky Prospect and top notch service. 3 concierge desks with the most helpful young women. They arranged taxis in advance with the final cost and name of driver with plate number. Great water pressure and A/C. They should get rid of the impossibly high tub 2' in the air and have a walk-in shower. A most beautiful breakfast room with blini station, to boot.

Great stay. Breakfast selection is amazing. Room service is fabulous.

At the level. I love this place. The staff is super. The restaurants are super. Rooms on the level. Moscow hotels of this level have a lot to learn.

This is a fantastic and historic hotel right off of Nevsky Prospekt and just a stones throw away from the Russian Museum.

The hotel seemed to be a bit outdated, but the Sunday brunch was EXCELLENT

Even at the St. Petersburg top hotel you can often catch a discount. Judge for yourself: single room with ks bed For 9000 wooden and this is for 5 * in the center of the city. The only thing that strains is asking for these cards as insurance, suddenly you empty the mini bar)))

I stayed various times in the hotel. It's in a historic building, close to all landmarks. I especially cherished the breakfast that even had beef stroganoff. It was quite delicious that I would have it every morning on every trip : )

The bar politely offers a different wine instead of the one requested, when invoicing, it turns out to be several times more expensive than what you originally requested. Fear of divorce, pair and check everything.

Big parking problems. Inside do not allow to be photographed. Problems with access to the hotel.

My experience here overall was positive. The service, the food and the grandeur of the building (very elegant building with fabulous interiors and common parts) are its pluses. The rooms are the weak part of the hotel. The rooms are small with outdated bathrooms (I was in an expensive terrace room). Frankly the shower is far from any five star. When they prepare the bed for you they leave the pillows and the bed cover well folded on the floor near the bed which I thought was odd (not in the cupboard where you would expect them). The food was excellent. The service was good too (although a huge line at the check-in should be avoided in a luxury hotel). I think the new owner of Belmond will plan eventually a room refurbishment and that will address the present issues.

Elegant surroundings, excellent service and location in the heart of St. Petersburg

I had a nice stay for three nights. The staff is very cooperative particularly the ladies on breakfast duty. The stay was very comfortable. I would love to stay in this hotel if ever I visit st petersburg.

A fabulous hotel in the old grand style, but with modern amenities. The breakfast is a cornucopia of foods, ranging from fresh fruit and cereals to made to order crepes and omelettes. The Mezzanine Cafe is a great place to hang out in the late afternoon for coffee and fabulous cake. The Azia within the hotel is very good Asian fusion restaurant. And there are few places better than the Paradis Imperial Lounge to enjoy a night cap, while listening to a singer with a piano accompaniment.

A hotel with the amenities and service that you can expect at a 5 star hotel. Good restaurants and extensive breakfast buffet. Staff is service oriented and friendly without being over the top, which you can get the jitters in some hotels. Rooms are very good and spacious but very warm, with windows wide open still 23C. While it was 5C outside. Seems to be a Russian custom to heat everything up. The advantage was that the window could be opened without traffic noise in the center of St Petersburg .....
