Excellent location right next to where I work when in Taipei. The rooms are fully automated and the gym is top notch. Security is also very good.

Might be best place I've ever stayed at for work. View and couch right next to window was fantastic. Dim sum and smoothie stations at breakfast? Nice.

I am in the industry, hence visit the good hotels all over the world. Most of the 5 Stars hotels certainly are capable of delivereing impecable services because the staffs are always well trained to meet the expectations. Among those professional, we can always find exceptional talents from those who love the jobs and honestly perform their roles beyond the job descriptions. This trip, between March 28th - April 2nd, 2017, I have come across 3 delightful personnel, who had made lasting impression about the services and 5 star holistic experiences. They are- Evita Tseng from Away Spa, Christina from 10th flr concierge and Nash the limousine driver. I thank them profoundly for their professionalism. More importantly, they should be recognised for being such excellent brand ambassadors.

Services can be improved for a 5 star. It s not bad but inconsistent depending on which staff you get. Although because they are corporate-owned so they do try hard to make up for their mistakes if you let them know.

W Taipei never disappoints. Friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms, great facilities and unbeatable location!

2019: Back to the hotel 3yrs later, staffs are more friendlier and facilities age a bit.

Mondern decor but not very practical. The room looks and feels fancy, but not very convenient. For example, the sink is too low.

This review is just for the seafood buffet and not the rooms.

I was excited and anticipated this buffet before traveling to Taipei. But I was let down by the food. To sum it up, it s FAR from anything you can get in Las Vegas.

I came during seafood night. The buffet itself was fairly small but I thought quality over quantity. There was an island with many options for seafood including lobsters, crab claws, and various shellfish. Unfortunately, they were all served cold. I was sad to hear they don t warm up any of the seafood options. To give them credit, none of the seafood dishes on this island were empty, including the lobster. They were really good at refilling everything. But my personal taste is to have seafood be at least warm, not cold. I only managed to eat two half lobsters as cold lobster was not my thing nor is cold seafood in general.

Their other main island was for hot food. Sadly those dishes were not hot. They were room temperature and flavor wise nothing impressive. They have a counter where you can get a cut of beef or some baked fish. I was cut the fattiest slice of beef and the fish wasn t flavorful.

The dessert area was ok. There s a noodle bar but no one seemed interested in it (as everyone is there for lobster I assume). There s a juicing area as well where you can opt for choices of apple and oranges for your juice! Yes I m being sarcastic.

Everything here is subpar. You d only come here for the lobster but if you are not a fan of cold lobster then this place has nothing worth the price tag. I would definitely skip this one.

Staff: The staff is working with the brisk. High sensitivity large.
Room air conditioning: is grateful there is also heating, not cooling only.
Breakfast: there is a cold-pressed juice. Dessert, there are many types of breads.
Security: the 10th floor there is a reception from the first floor, the card authentication to your room from the 10th floor.

Breakfast: fried rice went wrong. Other than the one Western with strong emphasis on Western food is bad.
So to those who want to eat other than Western breakfast I recommend eating out. Taiwan has many places to eat breakfast.

It's a thing that I didn't like but I left it. (Because my family can only drink champagne)

W Taipei, a lovely hotel with very easy access ,walk to Taipei 101 in 10 minutes. Right next to Eslite book store and shopping arcade. Also 5 mins walk to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Malls, with numerous choices of nice restaurants. Certainly the hotel itself match it's 5 stars standard, from it spacious room to the facilities, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended. The room here is expensive though in compare with other 5 stars properties here, I could certainly say the price is worth for money. Wish you like my comments, enjoy yourself in Taipei.

I've heard this place was a best spot to see the night view with Taipei 101 but I couldn't see the tower ! Drinks at the bar were good but I won't recommend this place for night view.

Getting started from the elevator to the kitchen table, very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere

I came to the meeting because the air conditioner was very cold. I had to warm the water twice with the waiter. The service was very stinky. "That would take a long time." I left. The result really did not come for 1.5 hours. It felt like a saying. The waiter to do it.

Excellent hotel with excellent service. Rooms are great, clean and roomy. The bar is amazing with great selections. Breakfast is unreal at the buffet. Pool is a must check and location is super convenient as it is close to blue line and Taipei 101.

The only buffet that has eaten nine holes is worth 5 stars.

Great hotel in an amazing location. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and great views of Taipei 101. The poolside bar is great too. Breakfast station very well managed. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a hotel where people use drugs, and they are still dying. There must be problems with hotel management.

The younger wealthy people felt the target. Stylish and gorgeous. There was a pool on the 10th floor where there was a reception and we had a party with light-up and beaty music. Enjoy the atmosphere with a cocktail during Happy Hour. Happy hour can also use yenbar on the 31st floor, so you can enjoy the view of Taipei 101. There are a lot of Instagram spots because the rooms are also widely designed. We stayed consecutively, but amenity is replenished only for what we used. (It seems to be an eco hotel). In the morning, free coffee, Danish and small muffins are served near the reception. Since it is directly connected to the station and bus terminal, the food court is open from 7:30 in the basement.

My family have platinum status which I think improved our stay as we got an upgraded room. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection including Ice cream and pancakes. I would definitely recommend staying here as all the rooms are very nice and have comfortable beds. It is in the centre of where you want to be for work and tourism and shopping. The hotel is very nice and the decor is nice. Overall i think this hotel is great and definitely deserves 5 star hotel.

Loved staying here! The hotel has a young, design vibe. The rooms are awesome with great views of Taipei and with a great design, including an electronic toilet, a white noise machine among other things. The lighting system in the room is awesome. There is a lot of water and snacks provided which are complimentary. The staff is nice as well.
