Of the Starwood hotels in Hong Kong, this one is the most convenient to stay at. It's above the MTR station and very ready to get to from the airport using the Airport Express. Hotel is very modern and comfortable. Really nice suites and the location is awesome. Hotel restaurants are nice and so many options in the mall for food as well. Staff is very friendly.

The large size of the circle is not enough to find, The Kitchen buffet, comfortable seating, landscape, buffet food choices, only water and after-dinner drinks, other drinks are charged.

Some bigger rooms (named Nice corner rooms) are very nice with a bathroom offering a very nice view while showering or bathing. Personnel is very available, breakfast is very good. The chinese restaurant at the entrance was really not good. Nice pool on 58th floor, feels low compared to ICC tower.
Will definitely stay again.

Went to the bar for an event, really nice place! Problem is that drinks can be expensive (if it's at a 5 star hotel don't expect anything less). The area we were in didn't have a great view, perhaps there were other areas I didn't see with a better view.

The room was v spacious and the service provided was superb. The location was not as convenient as it was not on the Hong Kong Island and travelling to the other side was more of a hassle. Room did not include breakfast.

Opened in 2008, the very first W hotel in Greater China. The overall design is still stylish from today's perspective. The facilities are well maintained. Super friendly and well-trained staffs. Easy-access to the public transportation in the Elements Mall (Kowloon Bus stop / Kowloon MTR Station). Wide choice of dishes in breakfast buffet. No direct view of Victoria Harbor from any room (blocked by the ICC). Harbor View rooms face to a breakwater on the west. Still, a very good hotel if You do not care too much on the view or you are a W fan.

Opened in 2008, the first W hotel in Greater China. The overall interior design is still out of date from the current point of view. Hotel facilities are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and well trained. Downstairs goes directly to Yuanfang Mall, MTR Kowloon Station and Kowloon Bus Station. Buffet breakfast options are abundant. Disadvantages: ICC is not blocked by the ICC; the Harbour View Room is actually facing the west against the breakwater. Hong Kong W is a very good hotel regardless of the landscape or if you are a W hotel fan.

Totally impressed with the extent they went to mark my son's birthday. Also, the view from the Cool Corner room was amazing. Even though I wasn't happy I didn't get a suite upgrade after calling three times over same number of days, I was pleased with the post-modern look of the room and stunning views. Hard to beat such.

Seldom I write a hotel-stay review unless it's really a bad one, but for this stay, it's a stay worth to share.

We're celebrating our 9th anniversary in Hong Kong this year and because of the situation we're still struggling across the globe, we had no other place to go. After so much reviews and recommendation from different channels, we decided to give W Hong Kong a try.

Our quality expectation for the stay was so high, but guess what? The quality perceived was higher than what we'd expected. Surprise, surprise, there is no gap of quality to us, even in a hard situation like this.

Every service encounter has reached its requirement, from preparation before the stay, checking in, food & beverage, free amenity and the whole W staying experience, it's a Wonderful stay.
A big thanks to the manager, Sam Yick, and her team whom taking great care of our needs along the stay, even our additional request for the stay.

For all the travelers around the world, if you are celebrating your special occasion or you're travelling to Hong Kong, I sincerely recommending you to come and have a stay here with W Hong Kong.

A memory worth creating and knitting.

The location of the W Hong Kong is a mixed bag. Access is within walking distance from the Kowloon Airport Express station through the Element mall, doable even if you are dragging a heavy suitcase. The Element mall is nice in itself, but there is not much around this neighbourhood, which is still under heaving construction on both sides of the beach front. No place to jog or even take an extended walk.

My SPG Platinum status resulted in an upgrade to a corner room on the 26th floor which is a kind of mini junior suite with a narrow view of Hong Kong Island. The room was comfortable and in good condition, with a nice shower/bath with a floor to ceiling window. The expected amenities are present, although the W is stingy on free water bottles compared to what I am used to at other SPG properties in Asia.

Overall experience depends on how receptive you are to the W brand experience. There is an element of style, but it is not luxury to me. Painting cheap decor in flashy metallic paint does not hide a certain lack of substance, and the over-the-top messaging is not funny. There is music and noise everywhere, you need to be into that as well.

Overall, it is an average experience which comes at a price. Kitchen restaurant entirely forgettable, breakfast buffet below average, especially given the steep 275 HKD asking price. The staff goes a long way in writing you ahead of your stay to make your stay memorable, but once there, it is hard not to be underwhelmed. It feels shallow. With a W at the end.

Of all the W Hotels I have been to, the W Hong Kong still seems to be the most friendly and attentive of the group. The service at the W is always good, but this one in particular seems to be really customer-focused.

One of the best Hotels I stayed so far with an outstanding service and great staff. The whole front desk team specially (Amen,Sammy and Besjon) were so proactive and helpful with that smile on their face all the time.
The location of the Hotel was perfect and the fact that its connected to the metro station and the Mall just makes it the best.
Hoping to come back very soon again

Great selection of food to cater for everyone's tastes. Seafood was amazing. Overall service let them down (had to ask for napkins and water bowl to clean hands and spare plates for shells etc...) Sunday brunch was crowded so some areas of the buffet were congested. D.J playing music was a let down.

Honestly I don t know where to start.

From start to finish my stay at the W Hong Kong was out of this world. I would never stay anywhere else when travelling to HK.

From the politeness and helpfulness I received from Jerry in the Kitchen he was amazing could not do enough to help.

The room service in the evening and everything I can not say anything bad in anyway I was so pleased. Thank you very much for such an amazing experience in HK

With a wide variety of hotels in Hong Kong, the W hotel is currently the best. Can feel its heart, the room is small, but everything. I just forgot to bring my mobile phone charger, but the headboard is directly attached with a variety of heads that can be recharged. The arrangement of the bathroom is clever, the little one is comfortable, and the bathtub is big! Next time I travel to Hong Kong, I will definitely choose it again!

W Hong Kong is everything I hoped for during my first stay in Hong Kong. If you're staying on the Kowloon side on HK, there probably cannot be a better place than W. There are so many positives that I don't even know where to start! Let me give it a shot anyway:

1) The location: The value of the location is little understood until you've travelled to HK: this hotel is two stops away from the HK Airport through the airport express. You directly enter the elements shopping mall (above which is W) when you get off the airport express! On the way back too, there is an airport checkin counter in the same building that lets you drop off your luggage, after which you can just travel to the airport luggage-free as and when you wish! This facility is a hidden gem that infrequent visitors may not understand. The local MTR station is also part of the same building. There is no shortage of buses or taxis either for local commute. This alone makes the hotel worth choosing! Of course, the elements mall has everything from high end fashion outlets to good restaurants, bakeries, a pharmacy, a convenience store and a super market. What more can one ask for from a location standpoint?!!

2) The rooms: We chose the cool corner room, and my word are the views good! Most importantly for me, the room on the 37th floor was very quiet, with no noise from outside the hotel. There was a noisy neighbor on the floor above, but that was fixed in no time after a word with the reception. The cool corner room is also tucked away from the corridor and is relatively insulated from corridor noise that way. The room is reasonably spacious by Hong Kong standards. The bathroom also has an excellent view, but the absence of airtight doors sometimes causes odours to drift into the room. That is a minor problem that can be fixed I'm sure. The rooms are also very well equipped with storage, electrical accessories, and gadgets. Overall, high up there in international standards. Don't be misled by the strange layout of the reception on the 6th floor.

3) The staff: The staff is really what makes the W tick, in my opinion. They really do their best to ensure a good guest experience. Everyone including the personnel at the in-room dining service, house keeping, conceirge, and the reception made it an experience to remember for our family. They were child friendly as well. They also went the extra mile to cater to our dietary requirements after a minor confusion the first day related to the exclusion of specific ingredients. I must call out the care taken my Mr.King and the staff at the in-room dining service to ensure that meal preparations were predictable and consistent throughout. Lastly, no praise is too high for Mr.Kent from the conceirge: I've lost count of the number of times he patiently and earnestly gave us instructions on places we planned to visit, the modes of transport to choose, and some truly expert tips that only a native can provide. He showed what it means for a local citizen to be a great host to guests visiting the city. Kudos for that.

4) The handy phone: For a first-timer in hong kong, the handy phone was priceless with street navigation, calling local numbers and looking up information in general on the go, and all of that complimentary. Including this phone as part of the package was a touch of genius by W. That is being truly customer centric, anticipating customers' needs, and going the extra mile to meet those needs.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're staying on the Kowloon side (or even if you need to visit the HK side frequently). This was my first visit to HK, and I look forward to staying here again when I visit HK. This was also my first stay at any starwood hotel, and I've signed up for an SPG membership based on this experience.
Keep up the good work!

W Hotel is located in Hong Kong Station (Airport Express) about 5 minutes, next to a shopping mall, eating and shopping is very convenient! The hotel is very modern and the swimming pool is on the 70th floor overlooking the entire Kowloon area, very good!

After the morning, the room began to smell smoke. After the reaction, the fragrance was provided and the reason was found. However, after Check-Out and even after the feedback was reported, there was no answer. Only the "standard" apology was made, and people felt that it was handled. The way is very not positive. There is indeed room for maintenance, such as in the bathroom.
