Had a nice stay at the W Hong Kong. The only minus was that some things are overly designed and take time to figure out, not user friendly at first. Like elevator buttons to top floors are so blended in, they were impossible to find.
A harbor view room with an excellent room service,. Kids love the bathtub with tv. They stayed in there for hours with cartoons shows.. The harbor view buffets restaurant has many choices of foods .
Going to lunch buffet, I have been to several times, the food is average, the service is polite but the hand and foot are slow, not enough eye-catching, the dish is cut and cut, and after the meal, the color is delicious, the dessert is delicious, the seafood is tasteless. Write every meal but go wrong
Nice ocean view and convenient location with mall underground.
Afternoon tea has poor quality, since the quality of the tea brand has gone from bad to worse
Staffs are very friendly. Really modern looking hotel. A bit loud during the night cause they always have parties and stuff but overall a very good hotel with excellent food and location.
The hotel has amazing views and the staff is exquisite. They make the stay memorable.
The food is first-class, the landscape is ok, the service is at the first-class level, and the seat is relatively narrow, which is a fly in the ointment.
Awesome location right above the train station.
Beautiful hotel
Nice bar
Awesome pool but could get windy.
Friendly staff, ask anything regardless when and what . Nice room fit out, sound system set up is very good . Amazing view from 37th floor.
One of the top hotels in Hong Kong, among the peers of Ritz-Carlton, four seasons and Hyatt... Staff go out of their ways trying to make this cruel world a little bit less unbareable.
One of the best buffets in Hong Kong. Always refreshing, always fantastic. Free flow alcohol, fresh seafood, freshly shucked oysters, freshly made beef tartare. A star service and food. Always come back again and again
This hotel was everything you expect from a luxury hotel. The service, the rooms and the amenities.there were great views from the rooftop pool too.
Worst hotel I have stayed in Hong Kong. Poor attitude/service. Fan in room had a bad bearing so would wobble and make noise, lighting in room is set by automation which was neat but the sleeping level had 2 down facing LED lights that could not be turned off. Solution was waiting 20 minutes for staff to arrive and tape paper over the lights.
Pool is ridiculously small for a building of this size.
Could go on but my suggestion is to stay away. Much better choices.
he W experience! From the moment we checked in till checked out, it was flawless (: We felt especially warm when Kim, the pretty Korean intern brought us a plate of fruits to welcome us in the room with a message card. .
You can enjoy a great night at the bar, as well as night view of Hong Kong from the room. It s connected to the Kowloon station, which HK Express to airport is just 20 mins
Very well communicated. Subway station and high-speed train in the Shopping Center where the hotel is located.
Extraordinarily friendly staff.
After the departure of the MTR, the guidelines are not clear
The power outage at home had given us an opportunity to try out staycation and celebrate my wife s birthday at W. We checked in early in the morning with 2 kids and were greeted by Rita and Jason who escorted our family to our upgraded room located at the top floor overlooking the sea view. The room was beautifully decorated with flower petals and birthday banner for my wife. At the same time, it is children friendly with the edges protected by rubber corners and welcomed with drawing boards with of our kids name on it.
We would like to thank Rita, Jason, In room dining gentlemen, the lady whom offered turndown (sorry didn t get their name) and Ah Yee from Housekeeping who made our stay not only enjoyable but memorable.
The service was warm and sincere from checked in all the way to checked out. Thank you again.
Large, modern rooms in a central location. Conveniently situated close to the Kowloon Airport Express and MTR stations. Hotel dining options are so-so.
Awesome hotel. Amazing service, every aspect of hotel very nice. Awesome pool and bar on top of hotel. Easy subway access
The room has a musty smell, although it can be changed, but a hotel with 3000+ Hong Kong dollars per night is not allowed.
An international brand building is a hotel on the lower level and a residence on the upper level!
Environment and food
An afternoon tea set is really good, the weight is good and good, the selling is exquisite, the average amount of salty dessert is high, the quality is very high, a signature tea is good, there is tea, it is worth going!
Great service! The concierge service was especially excellent, I wrote them an email before my arrival to book a restaurant in advance, and they provided highly efficient service, I was very impressed. The welcome ambassador and receptionists were also incredibly nice.
Acceptable service when u consider it's a W, where service is usually negligible...
A lot of fun! Different nights have different events. Quality is high. Drinks aren't cheap though so be prepared for that
Modern hotel with the best bars and restaurants. This place is beyond spectacular visually. When you walk in you will be struck with awe, so much so you might forget to check-in and get your room key!
You've never truly stayed in a hotel until you stay at the W. There's not place like it. I could live here
The hotel is great. The staff is very friendly! I would like to thank the staff especially Diana who from TaiWan. She brought me to the room and introduced all the facilities to me clearly. I felt very comfortable when I talked to her. There were some problems in my room on the second day. Although I couldn t talk to her as she was not in the lobby, other staff considered my problem. I received a card from Diana at that night. It made me feel warm. W Hong Kong consider every guest. I will definitely choose W Hong Kong in the future.
Spent a fantastic two days here to finish our trip. Staff ever so friendly and the restaurant was simply awesome.
Nice hotel, great service. It is out of the way though and not the best location.
Awesome hotel with great amenities. The rooms are amazing and very stylish. The buffet breakfast is great. Make a trip up to the 74th floor for amazing views at the swimming pool.
Our group of 7 had a really nice time in the Woobar good drinks service and snacks.
What is the incongruity of the breakfast that looks delicious but not tasteful?
Great location, staff (especially Keith Ng) & awesome view/ facility. Great food & Woo bar
Was in Hong Kong for 4 days but already book a different hotel. The hotel was nice, but not nice to the 5-star experience I had expected. As a Platinum member and throughout all of my stays within Marriot and Starwood for the past year, I expected the W Hong Kong to be a great and phenomenal experience, however I was disappointed. In a hotel that to be a five-star hotel, I think it is logical to assume that the equipment's provided would be functional. However, the TV controller takes over ten tries to open the TV. Where trying to watch TV and some channels won't even have sound. Also tried to use a HDMI cable however it would not work. Call the front desk to assist and first time they told me to use a different method using Chromecast, and still didn't work. Had to call the front desk for the second time and waited for another technician to come up and took another hour to figure out the problem. The whole issue took around 2 hours to use the HDMI cable to project from my laptop to TV. However when the HDMI connects and I was able to project what I had on my laptop onto the TV, the sound does not work from the TV and I had to use my speakers from my laptop. At that moment the technician already left and I do not want to wait another hour to fix the sound issue. There was also a serious foul smell coming from the bathroom and the bed sheets were stained with a light coffee like print. Since I was only here for 1 night, I didn't want to make a commotion and try to switch rooms at 8PM, but as a five star hotel none of this should be happening. Although the staffs were nice and respectable, but overall I was really unhappy with my stay here given all the issues that occur during the one night's span of time.
Awesome room layout and comforty. Bathrooms not very child safe with lots of sharp edges
The service is very good and the decor is a bit old.
W is a five-star hotel of the SPG group, located in the West Kowloon area, occupying part of the building of Elements. Due to the relatively new facility (operation started in January 2009), the interior and equipment are modern and fashionable. They also have a rooftop pool with a poolside bar, a nice place to chill out.
Stylish intimate venue. Watched Paul Oakenfold. 80HKD for beer, 120HKD for glass of wine. Sound quality was excellent. Well staffed event so waiting time at the bar was only around 5 minutes.
Great hotel and friendly staff, I only was a bit unlucky with the weather. Everything was good but I preferred the neighbouring Ritz Carlton.
Hands down the best hotel in HK... Not only is it beautiful but it is also right on top of the rail station to China..
Visited the kitchen.. Food is okay but service is bad.
Is a very modern hotel and nicely decorated. Well worth the price of admission
It is okay, but I found the restaurants rather plasticky and tacky. Just my opinion of course, and anyone who differs is very welcome indeed to their own individual expression of opinion. As to location, very convenient staff are good and prices str reasonable for the location and type.
Our favourite Hotel in Hong Kong. Staff are incredible, have been staying here for many years and always feel welcomed when we return. Levean s attention to detail and care for his guests is an asset to your hotel. Mimi in the bar is also one of the nicest most hospitable staff I have encountered on my travels. A must stay when in Kong Kong!

Self-service food is very difficult to eat, not cold or hot, I don t know what it is, cold cuts and small cooked foods are small, and the variety of oysters and paper baskets is small, only the ghosts and the mainlanders, and then the next lining, stupid and old lining !
Quiet environment, tasteful fashion, worth going to go
Located on the round side, transportation, shopping and eating are very convenient.
Both hardware and service are very standard.
Went there for graduation party. food not bad, but not good as expected. View was nice though
somehow more expensive than other hotel in the same level
W hotel's Woobar is a great place to relax. The atmosphere is calm. You could actually have a conversation with your company. Views from here are pleasing to the eyes. Service isn't hurried. Always at pace. We were here for dessert and champagne. Always loved the decor of this place. Enjoy your drinks!
There was no heater in this room, when I called they gave me a little portable heater that doesn t work. Everyone has surprisingly bad attitude beside the person that checked me in. The breakfast host was on her phone when I arrived, the pool attendant just threw me a check in list without even greeting. I have a meeting From 12 til 2 and this property would not let me extend my check out time pass 2. Basically had to rush and pack my things before my meeting. When I complained to the front desk about this all they did was looked at each other... would not recommend.
The lobby manager is superb and has a good attitude and deserves extra points.
A normal five star W hotel like every other in the world, but this is in hk.
I really enjoyed staying in W, I enjoyed spending a week there, the room was great, everything I loved it. The staff are very good and I love watching how beautiful the sunset is from our room. I've got a good view from our room. Overall I absolutely love it.!
A modern five star hotel with contemporary Chinese restaurant and rooftop pool.
I love this place. The rooms are well decorated and I love the bliss spa products. The pool is on the top which has an amazing view. The bliss spa is also very nice.
We did a staycation to celebrate a birthday and the hotel staff did everything to make the stay comfortable. The reception and decoration in the room was really beautiful. The pool is huge with a great skyline to admire, and a great selection of drinks to sip on. The dinner buffet at kitchen restaurant was super delicious. Would definitely consider coming back again for another weekend !
Very modern and nice hotel overlooking the harbor. I would like to come back.
