Broadstripe i can only explain in one word garbage internet constantly cuts off for about an hour at a time at least twice a day honestly being with them is like living under a rock but i would prefer that even more if anyone is thinking of getting broadstripe because its the only isp around its time to become amish because there internet suck there customer service sucks and honestly they suck seriously broadstripe either get a better connection or its time to hang up your shoes and close because your existence isnt benefiting anybody

Worst customer experience I've ever had and during installation the tech actually cut the wire I had going to an antenna on my roof and spliced it in so he didn't have to run his own wire and charged me $100 for installation and if you try to get someone on the phone from billing you have a better chance of finding Jesus Christ whatever you do do not give these people your business because you will never be happy with your service and customer service is non-existent it's not worth saving a couple dollars go with one of the big names in cable and internet services. Just trying to keep others from going through the hell that I did with these people

I had this company for many years. Stuck with as I like to support locals. They become your friends. Not all r great. You always have couple rotten apples. But Bryan tries real hard to run the business. Wish he had an assistant. He is busy guy. But overall all cable places have issues. I will say I like to keep them in business. Good folks and Maria in leading dispatch great at her job. Do another commercial. Fun an captive to see the funny. Makes folks smile

Please DO NOT use this service provider! They have horrible customer service and will charge you for a service call even though their service goes out all the time. I had 8 DVR boxes at my house before finally changing to Verizon and have not had one problem since. They flat out refused to release my phone number which is actually against the law and I am still fighting this 8 months later. I also have service at my office which is even worse. Several times per day the internet goes out and the phone is out about 50% of the time. I have had a tech come out no less than 10 times in the past month or 2 and they cant fix the problem. The tech seems great but they can only work with what they have.

We like to pay our monthly cable bill in person usually when we're out and about town, instead of sending through the mail. Cashier was courteous and very knowledgeable about the bill breakdowns. Sometimes there might be a line of about 3 customers but service is quick without being hurried.

If you like sporradic service and terrible install...

If you like sporradic service and terrible installation then broadstripe is for you, otherwise shop elsewhere. When we were subscribers the service was intermittent at best,when you would call for any reason you could count on a long hold time waiting on a rep ( don't even bother on weekends or evenings). Once you finally reach someone and wait a week without internet for someone to come fix it if that person can't fix it or it breaks again within one day guess what you get to hold again and wait again another 3-5 days. Ridiculous. We don't even have broadstripe anymore and they still plague us. They installed for the neighbor leaving a cable across a community sidewalk for the rest of us to trip on. Nice. I wish 0 stars was an option.

Service and rates are fine, but the cashiers who accept payments always have boyfriends hanging out at the office, and are very very disrespectful of people who pay their wages( customers). I have actually been threatened by one of these hang abouts for simply interrupting his talk with his girlfriend. All I did was walk in to pay my bill. I endure these terrible people almost every time I go in to pay my bill.

I have had Broadband internet for a few years now....

I have had Broadband internet for a few years now. Before broadband I had Verizon. If you want bad customer service go to Verizon!

After switching to Broadband internet they have always been polite when I have called to ask about my bill and always have given me the latest promotions when mine is up.

The internet service is not as bad as people on here make it sound. I do lose connection every once in a while and have to reset the modem and router but that s the worst thing I ve had to do. The speeds are not the fastest but def get the job done for surfing the internet and online gaming with my ps4 and Xbox.

Decided to give Broadstripe a chance as an alternative to Verizon since they were offering 50Mbs download and 5 Mbs upload for around $40 a month. My connection was great for the first few months but then dropped to about a maximum of 25Mbs during the day and then between .5Mbs and 5Mbs at night. I sent an email to customer service about the drop in speed and never heard back. Luckily their was no contract and they didn't even try and keep me when I cancelled the service.

Horrible service in Anne arundel county, 60mbps says it supports up to 6 devices and i couldn't even run 2 at the same time. I called back 50 minutes after I self installed asking for a refund and they tried to make me use the service even longer after i said i wasn't interested. Terrible customer service, its over priced and i wouldnt recommend this service to anyone - you're better off using a mobile hotspot.

I had a problem with my internet, they sent a tech out next day and he had resolved immediately , and the tech had a great attitude too which you don't see that often. I would reccomend them anyday. Great prices too

Been with broadstripe for over 15 years and they have been dreadful throughout the whole thing, I've missed papers and failed assignments due to bad internet connection. They offer low rates but you pay for what you get and you get a mediocre internet service.

I've had comcast, fios, and now broadstripe. For the money, their service is unmatched, I have 30/5 service and its rock solid. I've had a few issues over the past 18 months which they always remedied quickly. It's also nice to see they don't throttle certain traffic ala Comcrap. I can't recommend them enough. I don't have TV service and they are completely fair on their pricing in that regard. Comcast or Fios will charge you an arm and leg for internet only service. $30 a month for 30/5 service... done.

Terrible Service. Treats military with total disrespect.
This company doesn't understand anything about moving, forwarding addresses, or scheduling. They won't return phone calls but will show up at your doorstep when THEY want something.
Was a customer for 15 years. Had a $800+ credit balance. Can't turn two cable boxes because they got packed up and put in storage. Offered to return them when I get the boxes.
15 YEARS $800 CREDIT and they treat me like crap.

They ran their isp/ fiber line from the box, across a neighbors lawn, over the sidewalk and in front of the neighbor's driveway, then out into the street- where it was held down by duct tape, then into our yard. It looks horrendous and the slack in the line makes it go all over the place. It has stayed this way for over a week! When I called to see of they were going to fix it I got the run around. Not worth it!

PLEASE READ!!!! BEFORE YOU PURCHASE INTERNET, I have had a lot of less than desirable experiences in my life. However I never really cared to write a single thing or review about them. The horrible experience I have had with this company has inspired me to write my first negative review in my entire life!

I have had broad stripe for approximately 6 months. Not once did I receive the promise speed of 30MBPS highest I received was 7MBPS the lowest was around 1MBPS on average about 4 MBPS. I called multiple times to get it fixed, they wouldn't show up half the time the other half they would change the appointment with out notifying me. As far as the bill I basically wanted to pay for 7MBPS service since that what I was getting. I was promised someone would call to adjust my bill of course that never came. After six months of the worst internet service of my life I called and canceled. Not once did I receive an adjustment or a internet speed worthy of streaming the basic of basic video formats. This company and the people I worked with are equally garbage. Avoid this company save your money and your time.

Call them on Dec. 29th cause cable box stop working was told they were open on Dec. 30th but they weren't. Went by there today to return cable box and lobby wasn't open; now I have to wait until the 4th of January to have a tech to switch out cable box. Not pleased.

Wow some reviewers obviously work for broadstripe.
I'm going to breakdown the whole service in segments.

Front office: Answer phones quickly, kind, polite, and easy to setup appointments and get the services installed. 4-5 stars.

Help desk: or lack there of, if you happen to speak to This magical creature let me know. I had broadstripe 6 months, called about 10 times and waited anywhere from 5-20 mins before hanging up. They might be good , might be bad, I wouldn't know, never got a hold of one.
1 star (a help desk you can reach is not a good help desk) and the hours stink.

Tv service: tv channels worked fairly well. I didn't have to many troubles with the tv other then big storms roll in, almost a guaranteed outtage.
Stars: 3/4-5

Internet: I have owned Comcast and Verizon and broadstripe internet service is the worst. I paid for the surf 50 and when it worked I was getting 50-65 mbs. But that was for ten min time frames, it would turn on and off and jump down to 5 mbs and 20mbs .. never consistently worked, and you will non stop have to reset the modem.

This is the reason I left. With lack of a help desk, not having internet was very frustrating.

I called to cancel on a wed in the middle of the month, said before my next bill comes up can I cancel so I would get the rest of the month I paid for. Got home thurs, everything was off :-/

The only thing broadstripe does well is get you hooked up and get ya taken down... everything in between in a nightmare.

I would give NO stars if that was an option. I had this service for about four years. The internet needed to be trouble shot all the time. They continued to remove channels from the packages. It was like having basic t.v. since now you need converter boxes to watch basic t.v. This was the only provider serving my area at the time. As soon as xfinity started serving my area I switched IMMEDIATELY ! Yes it's more money but at least it makes sense. A service that actually has channel's , on demand and NBA package and internet that's fast and works.

honestly, not bad. I mean you got BS customer service. Internet however? pretty good. Non tech-savy people blame the bad internet service souly on them and that's not true. internet speed not only factors your Internet service provider, but it also depends on the router you have as well. all in all, not bad, except for the customer service. THEY make me want to have a "Broad-Stroke"

I just had them installed last week. Their service was A++, the install went smooth and the installer was early. He stayed and made sure everything was working before he left (not just the minimum). We went through some google searches etc... and we ran into one glitch. He made a call and it got taken care of.

I am a cord cutter and only need internet for streaming and their service works perfectly. I can't tell the difference between Verizon and them!

A++ super low price and no contract!

NOTE: If you have cable modem from Comcast it will work with them just fine!

Some one just came by my house to collect payment from the previous owner of the house that had died. He then asked if I felt like giving him money, to which I said no.

Next thing I know I am in the kitchen getting something to eat and I see him in my back yard climbing a tree tugging on cables running to my house. He goes back to his car and leaves with out saying a word.

No internet is as bad as broadstripe, not only is it down a lot and when I say a lot I mean a lot lol but even when it s not down the internet isn t even good enough to play video games, there is constant freezing on everything I do with the internet.

Service of TV and Internet continues to go out without equipment being touched. Customer service gives disclaimer that I will be responsible for serving charges, if issue is internal. Then provide four days until technician is available. The Broadstripe is the worst. I am calling Comcast now.

Absolutely horrendous internet. Extended outrage periods almost always degraded service and no explanation from anyone as to why. Tech blames servers that can handle the load demand during peak hours. Speedtest on WiFi can be 60 Mbps that you pay for occasionally but this is never sustained as seen with a download. More realistic is 10 Mbps getting 1/6th of what you pay for. Two technicians on staff, my area has lost service numerous times with no explanation all 5 of our customers are experiencing be same thing in your area . Calls to customer service are a waste of time, we will send out our most experienced tech same guy from last week shows up and we laugh. Customer service rep follows up with me to check in since multiple visits, I told her that I ve come to accept that you get what you pay for and that the internet will always be unreliable at best and I will never use this service again once my contract ends, she told me that she was glad to hear it was working.... as if she didn t listen at all and only wanted to check the box that I could connect to the internet. STAY FAR AWAY. You d be better serve do going with a big corporation I know I will in the future. F- all around all the staff I interacted with besides the tech who was nice and understanding but ultimately didn t resolve be issue because well the servers can t handle it...

I would give this a 5 but they don't have on demand really sucks... I have not had a problem as of yet .. I was reading some of the reviews about the rude staff members and even though I have not had a rude person you can definitely tell when they answer the phone they don't want to be there and it's in an inconvenients to be there... When you answer the phone ack like you like having a job that's all... But like I said no problem yet I wish they would get on damand soon internet could be faster but I can't complain

I just canceled their internet service few minutes ago, i wanna gave the zero stare but is not available, first of all there internet is tooooo slow and if u have more than one phone or tablet its like snail slow as Hell, plus after one year they rise the without ur knowledge or emails that let u knw the changes my bill went from $40 to $70 for a month for 30 megabytes even Comcast doesn t do that. And they send me a bill of $214 for 2 months that i forget to pay, what a scam this company.
Pls think twice before you get this company to provide you thier services, internet or cable ext....
They just feed on American hard working people.

The WiFi is extremely slow!!!! Sometimes it cuts off for no reason and I have to go the entire day with no WiFi. I work from home and have fallen far behind in my work which resulted in me having to travel frequently to a library. The cable menu is crappy and there s no on demand feature.

Great alternative to the larger internet companies...

Great alternative to the larger internet companies. They offer wifi-only service, so you're not paying for cable you'll never watch. The connection is pretty strong, and I've only had one outage in 2 years. Also, they do this cool thing where they give you promotional prices even if you're not a new customer, so it's not like Comcast where you pay half price, then it doubles in a few months.
100% my favorite provider.

This company is the worst, your cable and internet will lose service, no outages will be reported even when you report them! No one will call you back when they have reached dispatch to tell you since your service is down how you will not be seen unless its between 2 and 5. When you ask to speak to a manager, they have to email them to try and get you a response!!!!!! No manager is there to help you because they dont care!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM BROADSTRIPE!!!!!!!

Broadstripe unfortunately has the worst service 60% below Nations Standard. I hate having Broadstripe, there internet and cable are so unreliable. Its up and running then its down again, again, again, and again. Ridiculous if no improvement, I will be given no choice but to cut my service and go Xfinity. I cannot rely on Broadstripe for internet and take an online College course for my Degree starting Jan 1st. I can not let their un-reliability effect my online course, it is very intense and last 4 years. I never know when I will have service or not, that is a gamble spending large amount of money on tuition and not knowing if you will have to seek out a public Wi-Fi to complete an assignment. I am curious to know who in the company does not give a 5h:7 about their job or company to let quality go out the window. Really? does anybody high up in company pay attention to any of this or are they oblivious or dumbfounded to reality? I wonder why quality is only on the minds of a select few employees, and the rest could careless. If it does not improve I will be happy to leave and find "stable" service "rain" or "shine". I must, I am not wasting tuition cost because my internet provider is "NOT DEPENDABLE". Get it correct or shutdown, don't do it half455 for real...I would be motivated to get my 60% below nation standard rating up and running to at least 90% if not 100. Even 85% is not too much to ask!!! I hope someone reads this with the care and power to do something about it.

The only reason its gets two stars and not one is because of thier prices. The internet and cable are not working on a weekly basis. Especially on Sunday for some reason. You get what you pay for people and theres a reason thier peices are so cheap. Im not a fan of cable in general but my spouse insists on having it. Im planning on getting an antenna and switching to Verizon internet. Waiste of money.

Rates are low, service is somewhat reliable HOWEVER, if you experience an issue on a weekend, you will only be able to reach afterhours answering service and leave a message. Consider this if you work from home, or in cases of unexpected family emergencies when you need to communicate with family overseas (both my of which are my situations right now) I called last night and again this morning (its Sunday) and no response. Its beyond frustrating and a helpless feeling.

The price keeps going up and I have nothing special but basic cable. And talking to someone is a freaking joke. Had them for four years and it started at 80 and now its 122 and then they say after Aug it will go up 5 dollars more and they never had specials.
