My volt light totally failed. Customer service asked me to send the light back which I did thinking the 100% lifetime guarantee was real. A day later I received a call from a customer service representative who indicated the cause was electrical. I said okay what about the 100% lifetime guarantee? He indicated that the 100 lifetime guarantee sounds good but it is actually only for manufacturing. I asked what does it cover? It does not cover the finish of the unit or electrical deficiencies in any way so it really is not lifetime or 100%. If you are reading this go to Home Depot and buy the Hampton which I did and actually when a unit did fail they replaced it right away- no questions asked for 5 years the Home Depot representative said- good luck with anything with Volt and the 100% lifetime guarantee.

I have installed 6 Volt floodlights and 3 spotlights that light up Old Glory on my flagpole. Over the past several years dealing with the company for questions about the products has been expedient, thorough, and courteous. The construction of these lighting instruments are the best in the industry emiting a very bright light that covers a wide area evenly which provides me good light for work or walking in the dark. You will not find this level of quality and solid construction in a box store or hardware store.
i purchased the 100W slim line transformer with photocell and 3" and 6" hardscape lights. The quality is great and easy to install. Thanks for offering a quality and competitive price products. I decided to go with the stainless steel transformer due to the quality and the reviews on durability compared to the cheaper big box store transformers.

I had a problem with a couple of timers. I called Volt and was pleasantly surprised at the quick, no-hassle assistance given. They immediately sent a return UPS label for the timers and returned a new/repaired timer was sent to me within a couple of weeks. Their customer service is outstanding and its nice to know that a company stands behind its products. I have over $4000 in outdoor lighting from Volt and the relatively inexpensive timers are the only issue I have ever had with any of the lighting products.
I recently returned some items that had Volt s Lifetime Warranty, and had become inoperable after several years. Volt received my authorized return, and shipped replacements back out to me on the same day. Excellent communication with them, and excellent 5-star service.
The quality and functionality of the Landscape Kit I got from Volt has been second to none. Every night for almost 4 years now my lights have automatically turned on/off without fail. They look absolutely great and have been rock solid. I finally had a minor fail. One of the LED bulbs went out. Over the years I have ordered many spot lights and more from VOLT with great satisfaction. The quality of their brass fixtures is well known and their lifetime warrantee has been honored with a new replacement spot light that filled with condensation and no longer worked. Likewise, they replaced a wireless solar motion light without question. As a heads-up side note - if one of their fixtures fails, do not try to fix it before sending it back for replacement. I put silicone sealer around the glass of a spot light that did not fail but was full of condensation during the winter. Once it had dried out in the summer I sealed the glass only to find out that that would nullify the warrantee. It is still working fine after three years. Great products and worth every penny spent.

We had a landscape lighting person come out to give us an estimate. For $2,400 we would get 7 spotlights and installation. We purchased a Volt light kit through Costco. The kit included 6 spotlights wire and transformer. We added an additional spotlight and the total came to $350.00 I am 76 so was concerned about doing it ourselves. After receiving we decided to give it a shot. The only difficulty was digging the shallow ditch for the wire. The builder left a large amount of small rocks where we had to dig. Total installation time amounted to 5 hours. The quality of the lights and seem well made and feel they were made with quality materials.
I've had Volt before and loved them. Just purchased copper walkway lights that apparently can't get wet from irrigation water. They were stained and garbage after one night being installed. Customer service wouldn't cover them. Only suggested I polish them and move them from where irrigation water would hit them. They come with stakes to put in the ground....dirt. What application in dirt wouldn't likely have some plant material that needs water? I couldn't find any escalation path for support and very disappointed with their ability to stand behind their product.

Love the products Volt offers and their customer service is 5 star. We purchased 36 landscaping lights, 500 feet of cable, bulbs, 2 transformers. Everything we needed for our project was provided by Volt. We love our landscaping lights. We have had few issues with some of the LED bulbs, where some of them have been defective, but you can be assured that Volt customer service is excellent. They have sent us new bulbs right away. Exactly as described in the video and pictures. East to install, although i used them as replacements and didn't have to to any stone cutting. The look sharp, and bright. I went with regular lighting not the daylight bulbs and was glad i did. The soft yellow burn makes the wall and walkway look nice at night.

I once had an issue with a couple bulbs (3 yrs after install) ... they processed the return/replacement through a very simple / pain free process. Great Quality, Customer Service, and Value. I purchased two kits from Costco along with an additional path lighting kit. While they looked good on the website and the reviews are positive I wanted to see for myself. WOW, was I amazed from the start... I know people don't normally get excited over how a product is packaged, but I have to say Volt puts as much thought into their packaging as an I have seen. Just from that alone I figured everything else had to be good quality and wow was I correct in that assumption. The lights are heavy brass that will stand the test of time. The transformer is a work of art in stainless steel. I was a little disappointed at first that there is no way to mount the transformer on a wall without taking it apart and drilling through the back, but once I put it together and had it installed I really like the look of it. I called the support line and was surprised to have the call picked up right away and the person was a Volt employee, not someone in a call center somewhere. He was knowledgeable and very helpful along with being very cordial. The runs for my lights exceed the recommendations for the supplied cable so I had to order a larger gauge. I found Volt prices were competitive with other online retailers and auction sites. I will be purchasing more accessories from Volt and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a system that will last a lifetime... speaking of lifetime, their warranty will make sure the system lasts...

Not impressed with customer service. Volt made a price change just as I was about to process the order on their website. The item increased by $79 and they refused to adjust it even though I was in the process of making the purchase. They were very matter of fact, "That's the price if you want to buy it".

Volt Lighting will not ever get my business again. They refused to take back LED lamps that did not work and then stated they would charge me for them if they tested them and they work. I can by the same LED lamps for 300% less on Amazon better quality product and they will refund them if they do not work. POOR COSTUMER SERVICE. I will vote with my wallet and not ever buy this over priced JUNK.

Sturdy landscape lighting, nice surface color, parts look and feel very worthy. We use 10 W halogen bulbs with the max spread heads and the light is very warm and provides a good radius of light. Just be aware that the lights do not come with low voltage cable connectors nor light bulbs.

He ordering process was quick and easy and the material arrived as described. The best part was it was so easy to install and everything worked fine. My only recommendation would be to look at how they pack the box for shipping as it seemed very loose and could probably causes damage during shipment, but it was not an issue with my order. THe material is high quality and user friendly.
I purchased a complete set of Rotatable LED Hardscape lights (with transformer and connection Hubs & extra cable) and used them for new Pavers entry walkway and steps. I purchased the 300 volt transformer to use with some LED fixtures I picked up on clearance and am very pleased with the apparent quality of the unit and how easy it was to install. The case is well built and looks great, and the internal hookups are a snap to use. I have never worked with low voltage before, but it couldn't have been easier. I also purchsed some 12/2 wire and connectors and was satisfied with their quality too.

I just finished my installation yesterday using the Max Spread Brass Path Lights, the All Star Spotlight, the Pro Junction Box and Pro Nano-Junction Connectors. I no more than place order online and I'm getting a call back and an email telling me it's ready. I usually pick up my order at their facility in Lutz. It's no wait when I get there!! I purchasesd a set of volt path lights around my patio through my landscaper and he said they came with a lifetime warranty. I had 4 bulbs burn out after two years and I could not get the landscaper to order and replace the bulbs for me. I finally contacted Volt Lighting myself and explained my situation. Even though I didn't purchase the lights directly, they bent over backwards to work with me so that I could get replacements bulbs and the warranty in my name. I dealt with several of the customer service reps via phone and email and they responded quickly and were extremely helpful. They made the process easy and painfree and also sent me a shipping label to return the old bulbs at no charge. I highly recommend using Volt Lighting!!

Five time customer will unfortunately not purchase again. As previously posted by others, the website ordering process appears to be intentionally confusing when purchasing fixtures without light bulbs. VOLT requires you to link to the "Read More" tab on the website and then scroll down the page to determine if the fixture requires the purchase of a bulb. After installing my new fixtures there was obviously a problem, and that was the lack of bulbs. I contacted Volt and it was explained to me that I didn't order the bulbs, but they would be glad to send me bulbs (@$14 each) and additionally charge me another service/handling fee. I explained the problem with the website to three individuals at VOLT, and other than acknowledging that I am not alone, offered me no assistance. "Do you want the bulbs or don't you?" Whats disappointing is that VOLT makes a very good product, but I sense to stay competitive they purposefully make it appear as though the fixtures are a value, until you add the cost of the bulbs. All they would have to do on there website is indicate that the fixture does not come with a bulb. Unfortunately, I believe this type of marketing speaks to the culture of the company. Beware when ordering!

This is by far the best value for a transformer on the market. The quick connector clips work perfectly. It's too simple! The 12V & 15V options allowed me to split my runs without voltage drop. The stainless enclosure is high quality. The Salty Dog MR 16 shielded in-grade lights are amazing! I achieved the effect I was hoping for. Super high quality lights, couldn't be happier. Thx!

I accidentally broke one of the path light glass covers and they replaced it quickly and no cost. I'm a DIY er and had no problems installing the lights, wires, transformer. After looking at the local discount stores for a transformer to suit my needs, I got fed up looking at sub-standard (Cheap) transformers. I went on line and stumbled onto Volt transformers. This was the best thing for sure. I read about the construction, and abilities of this transformer, and decided this met my needs. I called the company (Volt), got some straight information, questions answered, and ordered this unit. It came very quickly, and I was more than pleased with the purchase. First off, this is a high quality transformer, well built, and solid as a rock. It was so easy to install, and looks fantastic. The dual systems work perfectly for what I was trying to accomplish. I'm able to have a group of lights stay on from Dusk to Dawn, while at the same time have another group of lights on for a limited amount of time (Dusk to however long I desire). The dual options of 12 V and 15 V outputs is perfect for the long runs, and number of lights on the run. This unit is absolutely soundless. I've had others where you hear a hum, but this one is dead silent. Making connections are so easy, requiring only wire strippers, and no other tools. The connections are tight, and there's no worry about them getting wet, or coming loose. Once you close the door latch, the unit is water tight, dust and insect proof. I hate opening a panel box and finding something with more legs than me. The one thing I can say is; "You get what you pay for". Yes, this may be a little pricey for some people, and even if you get the single purpose transformer, which too is a little pricey, you will be glad you made the purchase. The Volt transformer (in my opinion) is the Rolls Royce of transformers, and built to last. Quoting Forrest Gump: "Cheap is as Cheap does".

Quality and lighting of these products far surpass anything I was able to find 'off the shelf' at any hardware store. I worried that the lights would appear 'blue' like many recent exterior LED landscape lights, but quite the opposite. Their LED fixtures high quality, solid brass, beautiful and provide the perfect warm lighting effects I needed to highlight my mid-century home. Consistently impressed by everything I've ordered from this company as well as their responsiveness if there are any issues. If I could rate above 5 stars, I would. If your looking for exterior lights and want the best, seriously consider them. Easy to self install and beautiful results.
