These people are a bunch of CROOKS! I will never ever EVER buy a vehicle from them again and anyone I come across I advise them the same. That lifetime warranty is BS...you have to do what they "recommend" (which in our case was $1200) and the fact that we didn't do it, it voided it out. My fuel pump went out 3x's and each time I was to blame even though I put the same Shell V-power gas ALL THE TIME! My parents were suckerd by them too and bought a BRAND new VW Passat and they had to take it in 4x's because the headlight kept going out. When they finally got it fixed, they said it had been because there was a recall and after they left-their cruise control didn't work so they had to take it back AGAIN! I couldn't trade this vehicle in fast enough-I hope others read this post and IF you decide to buy there....buy with caution and get EVERYTHING in writing!!! If I could give a negative star, I would.

Sold us a lemon. We bought a used car with only 40K miles on it. It immediately acted up and when we took it in they charged us for work that didn t need to be done because they couldn t figure out the problem. when we took it in for the third time in 6 months for the same problem, they charged us again for the fix. The service department acts like we are an inconvenience to them. Spoke to the owner (Jeremy) he said he would look into problem and never did. Bad cars, worse service. If you re smart, you ll take your business elsewhere. Wouldn t even give one star but this thing won t let you leave no stars.

Buyer beware! They sold my mom a car that had been wrecked, never would give her the carfax. The sticker said it was a 2014 and when she went to get insurance found out it was really a 2012. It also had a serious recall on the transmission. Told us that they never sell anything with a recall.
I would never go to them again!

This is mainly for the service department. We bought a used car a couple of weeks ago and the finance department worked very hard to get me into a car which was great. We were reassured that all the check points had been done and the car had been serviced. When we got home, my husband checked the oil and air filters and discovered they had NOT been changed. He called the dealership and was told to bring the car in and they would take a look at it. The service manager argued with my husband that it had been done because it was in the computer that it had been done (and we all know the computer doesn't lie) and that was pretty much that! My husband then contacted the general sales manager and provided photos of the so-called changed filters and was told they would look into it and give him a call back. He is still waiting on that call. We also discovered this past weekend the rotors need to be replaced which is an additional expense we simply cannot afford at this time. I know it's always a risk when you buy a used car and I wished I would have read the reviews before I made my purchase, but I can tell you, we will NEVER purchase another car from Volkswagen of Corpus Christi and will not recommend them to anyone. And Volkswagen of Corpus Christi, don't bother to add your little jibe about contacting you so you can make it right, because YOU should be the one contacting the consumer to be sure that it IS made right!

Big thanks to the part consultants Jason and Nick. I was having an issue with the toe on my cars rear wheel and took the car in. They quickly figured out the problem and ordered the correct parts to fix the issue. Great help and would definitely recommend.

Hands down best dealership ever! Not just because ...

Hands down best dealership ever! Not just because they were able to get me into a brand new car, but mainly because they genuinely wanted to help me out in my situation and treated me like a human instead of just another sale. Thank you so much to my sales rep Roberto, he was so patient and kind through the whole fiasco and not just him, but the whole team with finance listened so well to what I really liked and wanted to make it happen. I want to say thanks sooo much again guys, keep up the hard work I really appreciate it.

We bought our GSR Beetle here and let me tell you this: I will never buy another Volkswagen from ANY dealer based on the experience I had here. They "force" you to buy their pin striping and door edge guards and all of the extras saying it is already done to the vehicle. Then when you choose to buy the extra paint protectant and interior treatment they sell it to you but do NOT do the actual service. When you complain about it, they say they will do it, but then do not do it a second time. RUN away, run and never look back at this place.

I want to take the time to let everyone know my experience at VW of Corpus Christi. I found my car on the market place and found out it was at a dealership in Corpus Christi. Well since the first contact done with Kimberly C. On messenger I was happy to know she took the time to hear my situation and set me up to talk to someone very quickly. I then got a call from Monica which also was a very pleasant person to talk to and assured me that they could help me get into my dream car... last but not least Mr. Robert thank you for all your help in getting me into my new car...I would definitely recommend all my family and friends to your dealership.. They had me do paperwork on a vehicle, ran my credit, once I passed they would not sell the vehicle because of a recall, why run my credit if you won't sell the car. I highly do not recommend this dealer. They will knock your credit rating down and not sell you the car unless it's a new crappy vee dub.

I ve got a 2012 beetle and have had trouble with turning my key in the ignition for quite some time. After taking my car to 2 different repair facilities and getting priced ridiculous amounts for repairs I thought I d swing by the dealer and get there opinion. I spoke with a very nice man named Nick in the parts department and after hearing about my issues he made me aware that certain model year vehicles had some sort of a recall on the ignition. He referred me to a service advisor and to my surprise he was correct! I got my beetle back that same day and now have no issues whatsoever!!! I m glad this Volkswagen has knowledgeable and reliable parts and service members to help its customers

Every time I come here, I always come in to just look around. But thanks to my husband's love for cars and all things automotive, we ended up buying a 2015 VW Jetta last year around the beginning of the year and I got to say..I love it. And now this year, we bought another Jetta, a 2016 VW Jetta TSi, a standard of all things. The last time I learned to use the standard shift was when I was around 7 or 8 years old. This is going to be harder than riding a bike, since I only learned how to use the drive shaft with my left hand while my dad actually drove the truck.Well...I came in angry and not happy at all about another entirely different situation but when I left Volkswagen, even though I was tired, upset and not a happy camper, I still managed to leave with a smile on my face. The service is always friendly and inviting, I get to meet awesome new and old faces. I know Harold has my back and is always smiling whenever I see him and John was very helpful that day too. He made me laugh when I was seeing red. I'm very sure we're going to stay a loyal customer to Volkswagen and recommend them as often as we are able to. It's the first time I've gone to an auto dealership and had several people remember my name and remember my family. I'm satisfied with my service all the time, every time.

I went into the service department and was immediately greeted by Robert Dominguez. Robert was very friendly and treated me very well. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about my Jetta. I will definitely be dealing with Robert again the next time I have to take my Jetta to get serviced.

I heard about Volkswagen of Corpus Christi from a friend who bought a car through them about a year ago. I was tired of salesmen and dealerships I could simply not trust where I live here in Dallas so I got in contact with Roberto down at VWofCC and he told me to find a car I liked on their website and they could have have it sent to me or I could come down there and get it. Personally, I want to enjoy my car buying experience to be as great as the car is that I drive off the lot, and Roberto was able to do just that for me! You can tell VWofCC truly make sure their customers come first and if you want a good, honest salesman, I highly recommend calling Roberto at VolksWagen of Corpus Christi. I would drive back down to Corpus from Dallas all over again for my next car mostly because there is no other dealership as good as this one!

I took my 2012 Golf in for an oil change and asked the service advisor Jeremy why the inside of my car started to smell bad when the AC was on, he asked if I had ever changed my cabin air filter and I didnt even know what that was! Bottom line, Jeremy got me back on the road with a fresh oil change and a new cabin filter, now my car smells just like brand new!

I had the best and greatest experience ever in buying a new vehicle thanks to Mr. Roberto Perez and VW of C.C. After looking for new trucks in dealership's and online, we found the perfect truck. I called V.W. and Mr. Roberto Perez had mentioned the truck we wanted was possibly going to be sold, but also said he would get back with us in case the sale didn't go thru. Which in honesty we thought he wouldn't (bein that we had bad salesmen in the past days) but to our surprise he called back to say the truck is still available and for us to come in and see it. From the moment i walked out of my car, i could feel the friendliness among all employees. We were amazed on all the help Roberto offered us. He kept checking in on us and telling us what was going on, never forgot about us. Helped us so much in the payment we wanted (which was alot less then we had mentioned) and overall was just the best salesmen and the best experience at V.W. Can't thank him enough for everything he did for us. If I ever decide to get another vehicle I will definitely be going back to V.W. of C.C. There simply just the best in all and everything they do for their customers.

Ignore the "call us so we can make it right" becau...

Ignore the "call us so we can make it right" because they won't. This is the fifth time in a year between both of my VW vehicles that I've gotten my car back from the dealership after maintenance or major repairs, only to have major problems. I had my rear wheel sensor replaced over the weekend, and since I got the vehicle back, I've had my engine light and an EPC sensor on. When I called, they said that was normal and that to give it a few days and the lights will be off because their diagnostics detected nothing was wrong except that sensor.

I barely get on the base this morning because my car starts sputtering and rattling and when I finally park it, it won't start. I called, they want me to have my car towed to the dealership. I've already told them that I cannot afford to keep having issues with this car, and they tell me that it's possibly a faulty sparkplug. We haven't even owned this car a year yet, there shouldn't be anything wrong. Instead, I was met with "well bring it on down and I'll get you into a brand new one with no money down and we'll use this car as your trade-in!". Are you kidding me? We're trying to GET OUT from underneath VW after several horrible experiences already being at the Nile location. With the previous owners at the Staples location, we were treated like valued customers. This new owner can keep the peace and love to himself because we've had nothing but problems since they've moved. Instead of trying to sucker people into new vehicles, and that was coming from the floor manager, fix your screw ups to begin with. Maybe then you might earn higher ratings.

I'm just wondering what $1300 work is gonna be needed this time as that's the same amount I've paid for the past four repairs on my vehicle save for this recent sensor problem, which, might I add, was the same issue on my silver VW just a few months ago. How convenient.

The salesman, Steve, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous, but the finance person (can t remember his name) was extremely pushy that he made us feel so uncomfortable. Towards the end of our visit, he was straight out rude: Oh, so YOU don t have the down payment. (We wanted to think it over before we signed and be back the following business day, Monday) He also, very bluntly, told us, Sounds like you don t want to do business with us! All because we didn t want to sign the contract on a late Saturday evening. So, needless to say, we will never do business with them. Took our business elsewhere and purchased a new 2018.

They are great salespeople, they helped my son get a car, Orlando was great and fought hard for my son to get a deal, and it's the only place that has a lifetime warranty on the new and used cars. So anybody looking for a great deal needs to come by and they will put you in a car.

I am not sure about the sales department but the service department can be a little shady. I dropped my vehicle off and was given a price for service I was receiving of $270( oil change and radiator fluid flush) I made sure it included fluids and fees and was settled to make that payment plus tax when I pick up my vehicle. The guy who gave me initial pricing was not there when I went to pick up my vehicle so this other service guy closed my ticket and proceeded to add an additional $73 in fees making my total approx $343. I brought it to his attention and he saw where I signed on what fees where expected to be charged and he proceeded by apologize and removed those fees right away. There s been another instance where one guy gave me a price of $510 for parts and labor and another guy priced $600+ for the same work so it just doesn t sit right with me. Be a bit more transparent on pricing and fees and I wouldn t have to second guess whether I take my car in for service with you guys or not.

Aside from that I really do like the videos mechanics send with detailed info on what they did and recommend. And every time I go through front doors sales men are quick to open the door for you and are polite.

The service was excellent!!! I got a great deal and worked with Roberto who was very professional and kind. He worked hard and got me the best deal he could and made me feel very comfortable. The whole team is awesome and they have made a lifelong customer out of me. Excellent!!! Highly recommend to all my friends and family.

Terrible customer service. No one is willing to help. I called twice yesterday to explain my situation, but they didn't want to hear what was going on just told me "99% of the time it's this so it's going to cost you...". My situation is a little different than the average VW customer, so I was trying to tell the guy this and he just kept talking over me and telling me even though my BRAND NEW car that has 5000 miles on it and is two months old my issue will not be covered under warranty even though I was told by another place it is a manufacturer defect. Terrible customer service!! Everytime I go into the dealership it is about 20 minutes before I am acknowledged and checked in, then I sit and wait for hours for service on my vehicle. I would rather go to San Antonio for anything I need done.

terrible dealership to deal with i highly recommend to steer clear of this place .. i had them replace a thermostat on our car in which took these people a entire MONTH and at that it wasn't even mounted properly on the bracket and i was missing screws on the splash guard afterwards... During this month long wait this terrible dealership would not provide a loaner or rental vehicle ... The thermostat started leaking again 2 weeks later because during this visit they were supposed to replace my heater-core which wasn't done either and because of it being stopped up it kept pressurizing the coolant system and blowing out the seals on the thermostat ... since march i have been waiting for Robert Dominguez from service department to call me for servicing my vehicle and here we are 5/9/2019 and still haven't heard from this clown .. I then looked for another dealership to address my needs and found West Houston Volkswagen and these guys are awesome they replaced my entire fuel system,water pump,thermostat,timing belt coolant lines IN 6 DAYS FOLKS!!! and supplied a loaner vehicle so i could still have transportation.

Wow-this is WORST car buying experience I've ever ...

Wow-this is WORST car buying experience I've ever had. The dealer represented my car as in great mechanical shape. I was buying my son's first car, and told them I needed a sound car. They said this one was in excellent shape. A couple hundred miles later and it needs thousands of dollars in repairs. And guess what? The DEALER WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE CAR. In fact, the service guy told me "Oh well, you bought a used car." The general manager is claiming that I could have bought a warranty, but at signing I was told the "Lifetime" warranty that comes with the car would even cover the engine. In fact, it doesn't cover anything.
I am appalled at the response of this dealership when I asked them to fix the car. Here is one of the things he said to me in an email:
"The vehicle obviously did not have these problems when you took delivery or you wouldn't have bought it."
Really? I wouldn't have bought it if you'd told me it was a lemon!!!
My advice? RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE CROOKS AND ONCE THE SALE IS MADE, THEIR SMILES AND NICE ATTITUDE GO AWAY. Just look at some of the other reviews they have. This isn't the first time they've done this.

Just got a new car from here. Roberto is outstanding I recommend him to anyone going there to buy a vehicle. He knows just how to communicate with his customers and makes sure to be considerate and do his part. We were also given a great deal at a competitive rate after some negotiations. They had no problems matching their competitors. All of the staff was good. If your in the market for a new car please don't hesitate to check them out!

I am continuously impressed with the professional customer service and quality of work from VWCC. They always give in depth explanations of repairs and provide productive feedback for maintaining my VW Bug. They are the only place I can trust and know that they will always take care of me. I never write reviews. Buuut I had such a Great Experience. Harold Riley went over and beyond and got me in the car of my dreams!!!! It wasn t easy, as I was a difficult customer, but he did EVERYTHING he could to make my car experience AMAZING!!! So if you re looking for a new car and someone who is going to work with you. Volkswagen of CC is the place to be and GO TO HAROLD!!! You will not be disappointed.

My name is Jesus Caballero I am a junior at Texas A&M university , and I am not trying to bash the company but they definitely took advantage of a low income student trying to work hard and get his degree. If there was an option to rate zero stars, that is what I would have selected. I took my car In to simply fix the locking cylinder and latch on my 2000 Volkswagen Jetta which I understand is a older car but not a car that is unreliable. When I got the car back the whole left side door is not operable electrically which has nothing to do with the lock cylinder and latch. If the technician is trying to say I'm illiterate and don't know how common sense works I am deeply offended. My plans of having future business with this company is totally destroyed.
