Excellent days of relaxation, the attention is the best, good food and the Bar is of good quality. They must improve the delivery and stock of beach towels since the answer was I do not have to come back later , in addition to improving the Production of the Shows presented in the theater, there are some good and others very deficient, lack more concern with some costumes and dancers' abilities, they do it with joy and affection but it is insufficient.
I insist that the staff takes all the awards, kindness, willingness, joy and constant concern for good attention. I will be back ...

Pleasant stay. it is not taken care of the smallest detail, such as coffee without spoons, almost always dirty tables, dishes badly dried, glasses for drinking almost never ready and "washed" by hand. The big flaw is alcohol: basically it's just sugar and non-alcoholic of discount quality, with the exception of Italy imported spirits (Campari and Aperol)

No constant WiFi connection. Constantly flies out or the network is no longer available.

But otherwise a really good hotel, from food to staff, all top.

It is better to come in the winter. The summer and Autum is very humid here.

They have activities and day camps for children and early teenagers.

They offer day excursions and tours such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and reef exploration.

Meals included with the rooms. Depending on what room you have, it may be apart of the main palace or apart of the property owners location.
Many different locations to dine at night. Some may require reservations. Reservations close at 3pm (1500) each day. Depending on the location you may only find one item on the menu that is good. The palace buffet will always have something good to eat and the menu changes each day. They have a different nationality menu each night.

There is now free wifi along the resort. The wifi is not limited to hours or data usage.

The beaches are private and chairs fill up fast in the early morning. They now have ocean blowup slides and toys. They have kayaking, wind surfing, and tubing for ocean activities. Beach attire tends to be more European or "free" at times, but you'll only find that as a once in a blue moon occurrence. Just a heads up for those more conservative.

There are 2 gyms in the resort. Simply give them your room number to access the gym.

They have beach volleyball, zumba,water aerobics, and dancing as day activities.

They have nightly shows in the amphitheater and more dancing in the center square.

The resort is beautiful !! rooms very spacious and comfortable, with plenty to do, the food they offer varied and healthy with the chef always present .., staff who served at the resort are very friendly and attentive loved highly recommended to return

There are opportunities for water sports directly on the hotel beach (paddle boarding, canoeing, windsurfing and small sailboats).
In front of the complex are a few small streets with shops and restaurants that invite you to stroll. But also the many a la carte restaurants in the area are worthwhile!

If you like something more party and animation, is better off in the beach, if you are looking for more peace, book the Palace.
Both areas merge seamlessly and as a guest at the Palace you can use all facilities of the beach.

It is an all inclusive spectacular resort, with a good beach, enough amount of chairs and many palm trees giving shade. It has several pools, jacuzzis, so many good shows in the theater every night, various activities (dance, yoga, sailing, gym, theme parties ...) Good cleaning. Excellent food and good drinks.
As a negative part it would only be that the bars at night should be open until a little later.

Amazing resort, easy to understand all the positive reviews and awards. So glad we came. Service amazing, everyone so friendly, so clean and incredible accessible for everyone. A great family resort for everyone. Sun is out, ocean very warm, gorgeous beach! I'm here why aren't you?!

Village absolutely not 4 stars, cleanliness absent wherever it belongs to the rooms.
Staff not at all nice except for a few exceptions, absent animation, poor food, stolen a wallet from the pizzeria staff and never found again.

superb hotel. ask for an extra sea view, you will not be disappointed. Staff really top and listens. beautiful cocktail. restaurants are not required. the buffet at the palace is very rich. beautiful environment. a lot of greenery, palm trees. shops inside or we find the necessary. cheaper at the beach. the least is the male touts dressed all in brown for you to become VIP. Nice to fall asleep and less nice when when you decline their offers. payment of 1800 euro asked for no time for reflection. then levy 300 euro (about each me for 4 years see more to achieve a number of vacation points and choose in the club viva stays cheaper). TUI staff who sells you excursions without much conviction. because very expensive.

During our stay we had several major issues and a few minor ones as well. They are outlined below. Overall, the beach is beautiful, the free water sports and activities are great, and the food at the restaurants is delicious, but the constant breakdowns in service and hotel maintenance really ruin the experience of what is an otherwise fantastic resort.

The beach is 5 star, amenities and restaurants are 4 star, but service ranges from 1 - 3 stars and you never really know what you're going to get. The restaurant reservation system is also outdated and strange where you're limited to a certain number of meals at the restaurants and you have to make reservations before 3 pm when the system shuts down (and NOTHING can be changed).

Major issues

1. Our room's A/C unit would blow in air that was almost full blown cigarette smoke. We thought it was our broken patio door in the room that left a gap when it closed (a minor issue) so that when people smoked outside it was getting in the room, but even after they sent maintenance to fix that, we could still smell cigarette smoke several times a day when the A/C was running. We have a 1 year old baby, so this was not okay. I went to the front desk each day for 4 days in a row asking to moved. The first 3 days, I was told each time that the issue would be addressed but no one did anything or followed up or even apologized. I even asked for a manager one day and after waiting over 15 mins I just gave up and left. Finally on the 5th day we were moved to a different room.

2. At the front desk I was told the room was the same as the one we had currently, but when I arrived it was 2 Queen beds instead of a 1 King. This would have been a minor issue, but with my wife and the baby, all 3 of us cannot fit on a Queen bed. We didn't want to complain more even though I was told it was the same room, so we just asked for a crib. This is where the major issue came up. The gentleman who walked us to our room asked the front desk to send a crib and said it was coming. Several hours later and no crib. I finally went to the front desk about 6 hours later and asked for the crib again. I was told it was coming. It never showed up. We finally just gave up and decided that we wouldn't try anymore and I just slept in one bed and my wife slept with the baby in the other. It's sad that it got to the point where I believed giving up was easier than getting help from customer service at the front desk.

3. In the "new" room the sliding glass door lock in the back was damaged really badly to the point it wouldn't even lock. I tried various ways to make it lock, but when I finally locked at the locking mechanism I saw that the metal locked like it had been chewed up and was damaged really badly. I just gave up this too and figured that we would be gone in 4 more days so it wouldn't make sense to request a new room of it took 5 days to get moved the last time.

4. We made a restaurant reservation with guest services but their printer was not working. We came back later before dinner to get our reservation and was told that it wasn't in the system and that there was nothing that could be done. We explained that we were positive that we made a reservation, but the representative just said sorry and that we couldn't eat at the restaurant even though it was a system or clerical error. This was really disappointing and we felt helpless again to whatever random level of service we would receive when trying to get help. Overall, the reservation system should be modernized and accessible by guest services. The fact that the system just shuts down is unacceptable with where technology is these days.

Update: The hotel finally emailed me and basically said, "that's terrible what happened to you, we'll work on it for the future." The typical response when they have no interest in owning their mistakes or retaining a customer's loyalty by making it right. Downgrading to one star.

It is a beautiful hotel, I spent a beautiful vacation there. The attention of some employees is good, of others not so much. The wifi is totally deficient. It is only free in a room that is on the second floor and they do not give you chairs to sit on, besides the connection is slow. They want you to pay for the service they charge you dearly. In a four-star hotel, in 2017 such poor Wi-Fi service is unacceptable.
The place is beautiful, the food good and varied, the beach beautiful and the room lacked a lot since it was sooo humid. Floors get wet on their own

We have nothing but words of admiration and gratitude to the people of the Viva chain! We stayed with my husband in the VWD Palace, and everything was dreamed from the moment we stepped on the reception: the staff, the gardens, the beach, the animation of the Beach, each and every one of the beings that crossed our path : Dalis at the reception who solved an inconvenience, Samuel, the Supervisor of the Palace buffet, super attentive, Raul and Keila from the lobby cafe of the Palace, with his joy and eternal smile ... Welcome, the diligent boy of the morning of the buffet of the Palace .... and each and every one of those who from the anonymity make this chain a PARADISE: the maids ... those who keep the gardens impeccable, those who are in charge of changing a light bulb that does not work. ..to all MILLIONS of THANKS !!!! We hope to return soon!
