It should be the 12th year that I spend Christmas and New Year in this structure. I don't think we need to add anything else.

It is a wonderful place !!
* Room: comfortable, bright, spacious bathroom, safe, iron, balcony television. The cleaning girls spend every day cleaning and restocking the towels, they are very friendly and if you are in the room they ask you what time they can come back.
* Food: a lot of variety, for all tastes, very rich, as well as for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are different restaurants (some with prior reservation) of typical foods from different countries and there are snacks that have fast food to my taste, very very rich (hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and French fries !!). There are also bars to have what you want hot / cold and also alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
* Beach: SPECTACULAR! There are lounge chairs wherever you look and the hotel people pass by inviting you to games and handing out fruits. There are lifeguards and the sea is marked with buoys for more safety.
If you don't want to go to the beach inside the hotel there are swimming pools (also with lifeguards) and Jacuzzi.
* Hotel employees: what to say about them ... very friendly, they greet you, they are very helpful, they are constantly cleaning, arranging the beautiful gardens, they are cheerful, they joke with you, they are attentive if you ask them or ask something and they immediately solve it, They ask your permission or apologize when you take your plate from the table, above all they make you feel at home.
Entertainment: the hotel has many options, gym, spa, soccer, tennis, shopping promenade, bow and arrow, playground with babysitting supervision, evening parties and theater. The hotel's shopping store (Viva Shop) has everything you can imagine !!!!
Our vacations were the ones we dreamed of and they exceeded our expectations when we arrived in Bayahibe. The place is a paradise and each person who works inside and outside the hotel constantly makes sure that you enjoy it to the fullest and make your vacation a dream!

Poorly maintained resort, poor
quality and managed by crooks (THIEVES and LIARS):
- old-fashioned, dirty, poorly soundproofed, poorly lit, hyper humid room (old HS dehumidifier) and with inefficient door and window closures on the ground floor; Shower room not maintained and not ventilated (sink reported as blocked, never repaired, filthy shower screen, no bathtub although we were supposedly in a superior suite of this nickname "Palace" ...)

- scam concerning excursions: supposedly all-inclusive activities but in fact it is necessary to provide in addition the entrances to national parks; the promised champagne is only a vulgar sparkling wine and you will go through all the possible tourist traps
- THEFT or monstrous racketeering at the exit of the resort where you have to pay (in addition to the safe supposedly included but recommended given the bad HS closures of the rooms) exorbitant fees (mentioned nowhere: 25 USD per person!) For " late check-out "when they even have the nerve to admit that they did not notify us of the check-out arrangements as promised 2 days before check-out (no understanding or possibility of negotiation - they block your shuttle for the airport - we had to pay 50 US $ !!!)

We had a room where it was quiet. In the morning we were woken up by "jungle noises" and the chattering of the geese and ducks, which we as a couple did not find disturbing. If other guests feed the animals in front of their terrace, there is no need to complain if the animals remember it. The complex was well maintained, which will hopefully stay that way if guests follow the signs.
We found the food in the beach better, in the palace we sometimes had the impression that people worked listlessly and the staff was overwhelmed. Our room when we gave a tip was cleaned better and tried hard. My husband was allowed to empty the dehumidifier installed in the room at all times. The animation team is great, especially in the evening for performances in the theater. Beware, the fans are very insidious and you can catch a cold quickly. We praise Laurence from the diving school, who took enough time with my daughter so that my daughter now has her diving license in her pocket. Unfortunately, some things went wrong for me due to another diving instructor in the team, with more patience and time it could have gone differently. It's also a shame that the diving pictures didn't work out, the prices as a family are outrageous. Finally, we would like to mention our Oscar with praise. He mixes the best drinks and is always in a good mood. All in all, it was a great vacation.

Very nice hotel. Kind people. Good hygiene in the rooms. Recommendable. You have to book early at 8 for restaurants because the quota ends. The good thing is that you have to go only once and take out for the entire stay.

I came two years ago, I made the mistake of returning, they are miserable because in bars you ask for champagne, there is no, you ask for amarula (cream to whiskey) there is no, beisly there is no, you just want to serve beer, in the main restaurant, you can eat noodles or noodles or noodles, meat cut into strips and sauce so you do not notice how hard it is, this company does not take care of tourism, does not invest, pretend to raise with the minimum expense and then they want to sell you a timeshare, so that you come every year to eat and take what they pay the cheapest; Then do not say they are not warned.

Excellent place has everything! And for all ages ... comfort, specialized attention, delicious meals varied ... and paradisiacal environment ... in the drinks was where I found the difference with what is taken in my country Grande Re.O. Large defect: there is no WiFi. A lot of noise in rest areas. Pool animation exceeds in sound to that site and annoys. Also the displacement of personnel and works without restriction of schedules. Not all the staff is friendly. The place is very nice weather and very nice silver. Unwelcome Argentines prefer Italians and Germans.

We were a couple from 14.09.2019 - 27.09.2019 in the Viva-Wyndham Dominicus Palace. All in all it was a very nice vacation that we would not want to miss. The area was very clean, the beach was super beautiful and the staff went out of their way to meet your every need. We had a room with a sea view, which was unfortunately very outdated. It was clean, but we didn't like the room that much. Other rooms, however, were renovated and a lot of "work was done". Some modernization is also necessary. (that's why one star deduction) But you spend more time outside than inside, so you could easily overlook it. Our housekeeping staff (Maria) was very friendly and kept the room clean and supplied us with mineral water. We enjoyed the food and there was always plenty of choice. You could use and try everything with your all-in bracelet. You always have something to complain about if you want to. But you also have to be aware that from time to time a different standard "prevails" than in Germany :-). We can recommend this hotel and anyone visiting the beautiful Dominican Republic should go to Isla Saona. Worth it!

Abundant but regular food! Complex, three stars, I would not go back

It is a beautiful site, beach and sea extraordinary but lack of service ... no one at the pool, nobody at buffets for beverages and very limited wifi on the site ... The food is ordinary, nothing wow and the snack is not good at all ... We are on the Palace side and going to the Beach there are more activities and food! We changed rooms because too small for 4 people. We have a junior suite that is equivalent to a basic room in Mexico in a 3-4 * ... no drinking water, they provide 2 small bottles a day, if you want more you have to pay. Let's say the only real plus is the sun and the beach! I'm really not difficult, except that you do not trust the number of stars ... for the same price you will find much better in Mexico ... especially for the food!

The hotel is ok But it should not be offered as all inclusive. Since they charge for the safe and the use of the frigobar. Not to consume the frigobar but only to open it and store things there. The ground floor rooms have a humidity problem so other guests reported. And the artificial pond smells rotten. They should take it out or else stop it and keep it clean. It's complex is very big because they connect with the living Wyndham beach and there are no trolleys that displace the passengers but one must go on foot from end to end and it is a bit exhausting. The employees in general are friendly but constantly complain about how poorly they are paying and that is a little uncomfortable for the tourist.

Nice hotel..Rooms could be better (clean sheets) could possibly also a bit German understand and speak.

Cozy and immense structure. There is everything you need to relax and have fun. Bar, buffet, restaurants, shops, spa, excursions ... With us there was animation Francorosso. The boys were fantastic, Vincenzo, Alessandro, Nicholas, Emma, Laura and Giulia. Beautiful initiatives and many activities in which to participate. Not at all intrusive. Excellent Especial coffee at the reception bar thanks to the sunny presence of Raul and Isamar.

Great vacation and resort. The staff is always friendly and hard-working. Of course there are also one or the other curmudgeon there. In some places you want a little more cleanliness (hence the star deduction). But all in all well worth a 2nd and 3rd visit. This is the second time we have stayed at Bungalow Oceanview and will be back.

Regarding the tours offered, one can say that Saona Trip is not a must. It's just a beach, too. If you want to experience something and also want to get to know the country and its people, you should book one of the safaris offered.

It has been a pleasant stay, things work well, although the previous experience was extraordinary. Now you can say that well. The only annoying thing is that the people who sell the old "compound time" annoy too much ... to the point that they have finished with my courtesy, it has been the only way they understand that we are not interested. The rest is OK.

I have just returned from the Viva wyndham palace hotel where I stayed for 1 week, the hotel itself is really beautiful, long beach enough deckchairs for everyone 4 beautiful swimming pools but clearly a lot of things are missing so that '' it is a 4 * sup worthy of the name because clearly it does not in any way deserve its 4 * sup: the cleaning in the rooms clearly leaves something to be desired, the pillowcases are simply returned and not changed ditto for the duvet, no bathrobes or slippers, smell of damp.
The welcome is minimal, we did not even explain that we have access to the beach side and that they are the activities, the lively evenings, we noticed one evening by chance that at the theater on the beach side EVERY NIGHT there was entertainment.
Have been harassed yes harassed to participate in a meeting info on the hotel chain viva wyndham clearly I don't care I'm on vacation I'm not on a business trip so when I say no once it is don't bother bothering me on my pool lounger, or when I'm on the phone to go to that damn meeting.
The food is not their strong point is the canteen at the buffet, if you eat only fish they offer only one variety per day and clearly it is the same every day, to eat in the restaurant you have to book and you are only allowed 4 if you come 1 week, do not pay 18% lobster they are infamous I prefer them in France and by far for a country by the sea it is limited.

Very well kept common areas, excellent tropical garden, ok cleaning. spacious rooms of the Palace but with furnishings dating with bathrooms alas crumbling. Excellent food in the various restaurants present.

I would not recommend this hotel <br/> My experience was not very pleasant. I found it dirty, exactly the brunch area. The rooms are not cleaned only the beds are made. <br/> In the restaurant area the terrace I found a cockroach that I killed myself .- <br/> The beach looked like silver, there was no one to put order, I could do whatever I wanted. Wonderful hotel, good food and excellent entertainment to enjoy your holidays

This hotel is gorgeous and 100% recommendable. We stayed here for 2 weeks. We were greeted warmly on our arrival. German is also spoken at reception. The room was the only thing we can fault. The mattresses were very old and there was mold under the bed. It smelled musty. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Despite a tip it was not cleaned properly. But that was really the only thing that was negative. Because hygiene is very important here. Everyone has to disinfect their hands before eating before entering the restaurant. The food is also great and there is something for everyone. If you want a bit of variety, you can have a seat opposite the reception in one of the many themed restaurants in the hotel. Local food can also be found there.
It is actually forbidden to reserve loungers, but nobody seems to care. If you want a good berth on the beach, 7 a.m. would be a good time to reserve your loungers. At the pool much sooner. Towels are provided by the hotel and must be returned at the end of the stay.
The hotel itself has 3 bars: one in the reception, another by the pool including snacks and a third on the beach in the lighthouse. The bars open from 10 a.m.

The hotel offers its own tours, which are highly recommended.
We recommend, for example, the tour to Catalina Island, where the most beautiful coral reef can be seen off the coast, or the tour to Saona Island, where lunch is delivered from the hotel to the island by boat. The tours start at the hotel's own ship landing stage.
But there is also a lot else you can do. You can go paddling on the beach once a week for free.
Since the neighboring hotel "Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach" is a partner hotel, all facilities, i.e. bars, pools, restaurants, fitness studios etc. can be used.
In both hotels there is a mini club for the kids, as well as other leisure activities, such as Volleyball, aqua aerobics, etc.
The evening program is only available in the Beach Hotel.
If you run out of money, you can withdraw money in both hotels. An exchange for dollars or Dominican pezos is also possible.
The hotel has 4 shops. There are clearly several shops in the neighboring hotel.
But if you want souvenirs you can buy them cheaper outside the hotel. But here you have to negotiate more often.
You don't feel anything about the alleged crime here. It must be said, however, that the hotel is very well guarded, there is a lot of security going around inside and the police are present outside the hotel border.
The hotel staff are very friendly if you are friendly to them.
You can see that this hotel has a lot to offer. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return here.
