The hotel is basic, lack of maintenance in some places. The excursions, photography sessions and other extras are very expensive, better done outside the hotel. Rooms with a lot of damp smell.

It was a very nice hotel. Food was diverse. You could also relax on the beach or just visit club. Much entertain..The room okay..but the view was unforgetable. Nice staff. Some were from Germany. Wlan only which was not really good, but honestly who needs the internet if there is such a fantastic beach. So we will definitely visit again.

The landscaping was beautiful, very well maintained. Our friend JC helped us from the minute we arrived to seeing us out. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. The resort caters to a lot of European, I like to be able to talk to other travelers and we weren't able to because not very many spoke English. The Buffett was good, but repetitive. Bambu restaurant was good, service excellent but the kids didn't really care for the food though. La Paco restaurant was good, even the boys loved it and the service was good. La Roca was an absolute disaster. The girls at the front were annoyed that we showed up, the waiter took about 20-30 minutes to even acknowledge our table. The food took forever to come out and then when it did finally come they had 3 of the dishes wrong and didn't care just put it in front of us and said you eat. Needless to say we went to the buffet after that. There is absolutely NO waitstaff on the beach, so you have to get your own drinks at the bar and EVERYTIME you go up to the bar it's very crowded and only 1 bartender. TAKES FOREVER! the beach was absolutely beautiful, the best part of this resort. The rooms were ok. The website says there is a coffee maker in each room but there is not. They don't give you any soaps to use, and you only get 2 bottles of water per room. The safe you have to pay 2$ a day to use.

I loved the hotel, the rooms, the care of the clean, beach, attentive all the managers of different charges always with a greeting, breakfast, lunch, mid afternoon like chips, sausages and pizzas drinks .. EXCELLENT make you want to return . I congratulate the owner.

I was already in this hotel 2 times and I became a live club member. Very good service and comfortable facilities. My last stay was overshadowed by the mosquito bites that my wife and I experienced. Staying in a room on the ground floor that overlooks the garden favored the entry of mosquitoes into the room. Also the bites of gnats on the beach at nightfall. Use a lot of repellent and avoid rooms to the garden and stay on the beach after sunset. Otherwise, very good hotel.

Wonderful all inclusive system, well-kept with a few defects of age. Staff very friendly and nice. Reception still has to learn when it comes to customer service.
The kitchen and service are very good with a very large selection - there is something for everyone. Beach and pool areas are very well maintained and clean. Guarded around the clock, slept in the garden level without hesitation with the window open (mosquito screens are attached) and animal entertainment (ducks, geese, flamingos, etc.) is also provided. Entertainment and show performances at a very good level -> 5.5 points OK!

The rooms for a palace is not that, no possibility of making tea or coffee in the room, safe fee, if you want to be much better or faster served you must give money is a scandal! !!!!!

A great hotel worth recommending. Extremely child friendly service. Very well organized and involved. A beautiful garden where ducks, flamingos, geese and other birds and turtles live. There is no problem with the availability of sun loungers on the beach and by the pool. Many attractions in the evening in the neighboring Beach (hotels form a unity you can move around and enjoy all the attractions). Food mainly pork, beef (hard unfortunately) and fish. Very tasty. Everywhere clean. Impression of the excess of employees who are looking for a job - which results in a perfect environment. Better hotel shops at the Beach. Palace quieter but equally great. RECOMMEND

To be 5 star, leaves much to be desired, you have to ask them to replace the shampoo, towels, do not leave creams or a hat for the bathroom. Food is not a big deal. The employees are very kind.

Nice big park. All very friendly and endeavored to make the guests happy. Room quite dated but functional. Food is ok. Service is ok. Beach quite small, but adequate.

The place is beautiful, very nice beaches, the staff takes great care to do things well but in the theme of the rooms it was a complication since there was a leak of water that fell through the ceiling of the light, this caused a risk and took a long time time to solve it.

Wonderful Christmas buffet, the atmosphere was unfortunately destroyed by techno music. The loud music follows you all day.
I would throw all entertainers out. They are self-promoters who don't care about the guest. If the fitness entertainer doesn't want to work, he'll send you away for allegedly wrong training pants.
Thank goodness you can switch to the French part, where music adapted to the age of the guests and super friendly entertainers.

Only weak point. The free WIFI is VERY LOW and arrives often and quickly especially in the rooms.
For a good wi-fi you must take the paid wi-fi $. The entertainment at the palace is practically (zero or inadequate or boring.
Entertainment and shows are on the Beach Club side.
The in-room refrigerator is only filled the first day after that it will be just water in your in-room refrigerator.
On our first trip here to the palace in 2012 we made Wow what a heavenly place. The place is still heavenly.
If you want juices or liquors for our in-room refrigerator. Take your plastic water bottles and go fill them at the various bars, self-service juice, water, liqueurs. The buffet at the palace is good, but the buffet at the Beach Club is bigger and more elaborate (BETTER)
If you want a quieter place, go to the palace, if you want to party, have music (booms booms), go to the Beach Club.

Superb hotel complex with a dozen themed restaurants. Pool and beach in front of the hotel. I did not put 5 stars because the staff of the hotel is not always nice

The place is excellent. When we went to the already paid hotel, they told us there was no more room and they sent us to another hotel. They also recognized the error and when we returned to the hotel they rewarded the VIP.

Hello good afternoon, we are Argentinians, Costanzi family, we stayed from 16/11 to 25/11, and I want to thank and highlight the kindness and predisposition from the trunk that received us to the last person who assisted us in that stay. Some names that I remember are Ivan Jimenez, Jose Luis Diaz, Yelisa, Denisse, Jose, the barman of reception, night shift, with all affection I greet you, thank you very much.

Excellent hotel The place, the beach and the attention is wonderful. We went 3 months ago to our honeymoon. Amazing everything.

Good service by employees at the gastronomy level would say that you should also improve rooms with many deficiencies.

My girlfriend and I went to this resort around 2012. I'd already been to the Dominican Republic once, Punta Cana, so it was nice to see the southern side of the island.

The rooms were nicely kept although some buildings were clearly much nicer than others and despite my room upgrade selection I had to complain to get a better room(the upgrade I'd paid for).

The food was buffet style mainly and it was good; nothing amazing but we never complained about the taste or lack of variety of the cuisine. There's also a few restaurants that are free but you just have to make a reservation possibly up to 24 hours in advance.

The people there were one of the best parts. Although they might not have much money, most people had a smile on their face all day long. It wasn't a fake, be nice to the tourists/guests smile, it was genuine. The weather and beauty of certain parts of the Dominican Republic would probably make anyone happy. Most of the local people were also very friendly; not the nefarious friendly either where they expect something from wealthy tourists but a friendly demeanor overall.

The entertainment was nice as they had a theater for performance shows and clubs late at night. My girlfriend and I never made it to the clubs however because they didn't even open until some late time like 11pm and by then we were exhausted. We went on some excursions which I would suggest but cost extra. They have everything from ziplining, horseback riding, ATV off roading, party boats, etc.

Overall I'd suggest it to a friend but I probably wouldn't go back to the same place just because I would want to try something new and different. At the time it was very cheap also. Per person with everything included(flights, shuttles to hotel & airport, the resort hotel stay, all food and drinks including all alcohol) it was about $100 per day. We stayed for 7 days so it was $700 per person for 7 days. We flew from reasonably far away, New England, also.

Something different to note is that the majority of people staying there were European. No problems with that at all, I just found it interesting how they wouldn't tip at all. Yes the alcohol is free but I'd often give the bartender a small tip. I heard that tipping seems offensive to them so that's why they don't tip in their culture.

Beautiful, traveling with Francorosso we also had perfect rooms. Rooms kept clean more days, days less despite daily tips .. Eaten quite well .. Very welcoming people .. Excursion to the island of saona beautiful, relaxing and fun.

Where should I start So it is a beautiful and clean area full of animals. The beach is also beautiful and you can see employees cleaning and raking all day. In the buffet restaurants the food is always fresh, even if not always my taste, but luckily you can argue about that. That's why I got my two stars. I always try not to just complain because that always annoys me in the review portals. But now it's time to "breathe". How can you have such lazy, unfriendly, sometimes naughty staff. For two weeks we had to set our table with cutlery and dishes EVERY morning for two weeks, out of 15 days my friend had to go to the guy who scolds himself as a waiter and asked for coffee 14 times. On the last evening the waiter, let's call him Johan, actually watched us picking up napkins, place mats and cutlery from other tables.

Cleaning ladies who only really cleaned for a tip and to top it off the archery guy who made us wait 15 minutes because he was too lazy to set up the second target. To forbid us to shoot after eight minutes because a French family would have waited long enough.

There is smoking everywhere, especially on the beach, although everything is full of no-smoking signs.

The music by the pool is so loud you can hear the bass EVERYWHERE. When people complained, the music was turned down that day, but only that day.

Beautiful country but no longer in Dominicus Palace or its even louder sister hotel Dominicus Beach.

Hello good afternoon, I am writing to you from Buenos Aires, my name is Antonio Jorge Fernandez Valle and we were staying with my wife in v / hotel last November (you can see my opinion on Trip Advisor)
Now we return to celebrate my birthday there, with my two daughters, their husbands and my four grandchildren, a total of 6 adults and 4 children. We have reserved 3 superior rooms facing the sea. I would like to ask you to please be all together in the same block if possible at 5100 (which we were there) and one on the ground floor for the grandparents.
God willing, we arrived on Saturday, May 7 through May 14.

Price quality is there, but next time I spend more.

Immense village, almost a city, I didn't stay here but I've been there several times from the beach and it's wonderful, lots of pools and very clean.

Nice beach, friendly at the reception, good food, pity waiting for coffee service in the morning a cart for many tables to serve ....

The hotel rooms urgently need a renovation and deserve a maximum of 2 stars. The cleanliness in the hotel is very superficial: the towels in the bathroom were always dirty and the plates in the buffet very often.
The kitchen is not recommended for vegetarians.
The staff was rude and inattentive.
The toilets were very unhygienic as there was usually insufficient water to flush (you can probably imagine what was always floating around in the toilet).
The card for the room was only "open" 3-4 times (then you had to go to reception every time to get it working again).
For the safe in the room are 2 per day, which was never mentioned.

Excellent in every way, friendly, beautiful, very tasty food, we would return my friend Lina and I delighted. Rating 10

A beautiful village located a few kilometers from La Romana, Bayahibe to be precise. The village is divided into the Palace part and the Resort part. Staying in one or the other is the same thing. The buildings are in the first while the bungalows are in the second. Many restaurants and bars located inside. Very suitable for families, there are no dangers. I did not give 5 stars just because it has become the commercial part of the Caribbean and there is nothing original, all built. But the end result is very beautiful

The rooms x the climate that should improve, the rest is a fairy tale ....
