Vista Energy offered me a great deal. Unfortunately I signed up with them not knowing my current rate with PG&E was better. I gave them a call back and they helped me cancel my deal with them and go back to PG&E in under 5 min! The representative was very helpful and kind. I will definitely consider Vista Energy in the future!

Professional AND helpful. NO CATCH! I called because I thought they helped with electric and I didn't need it but when the man clarified it was gas I placed him on a brief hold while I number crunched if this would be profitable to me and it for sure is so I want to leave a good review to make it public this company benefited me although I thought they were sharking me out. Happy to do business!

Kathy, at Vista Energy, is fantastic. I received a bill in the mail and was thoroughly confused as to what it was for. It was late on Saturday afternoon, and I was going through paperwork, so I called the phone number. I expected a customer service message saying, call back during business hours. Kathy quickly came onto the the line and I told her that I had a bill. She explained what happened. And that it was nothing that I did to cause the bill. I was pleasantly surprised when Kathy answered on a weekend, and she definitely gave 5 star customer service. Thank you, Kathy

Excellent customer service support! Chris, my representative took the time to help with all my concerns. He was attentive, professional and really listened to what the issues were which was refreshing and sometimes hard to find these days. Chris took the time to explain the the differences in both bills and what the items listed in detail meant and why some charges were applied. He was even kind enough to let me know I had gift cards due to me that I was not aware of because of Covid19 and all the new changes it has brought to the world. I wish we had more customer service representatives like Chris in the world who clearly understood the needs of his customers. If Chris is due a raise hesitate not to give it to him. If there is a higher position he can apply for tell him I said go for it. Thank you Chris for all of your help today and most of all stay safe!

I just got off the phone with Janet Lopez who was very helpful and professional. While her performance definitely deserves 5 stars, I only gave four to Vista Energy, as I feel that I was not made sufficiently aware of the expiration of my former rate after a year. The fact that the rate reverted to a much more expensive one was very costly for me, as I rely on paperless billing and have low gas usage over the summer, and therefore didn't recognize the change for several months. .... I came back after a year and updated my rate. It was very easy, with good service, so I changed my rating to five stars. Thank you Anna.

The door to door tactics of selling this service is invasive and hostile. I was coerced into thinking the salesman was from pge and that I needed to update my gas usage. The salesman showed up the same day that pge was working in the area and talked very fast and confused me into signing up for this gas exchange with no explanation why. I would have given 1 star but thankfully I called back the next day and Kathy on the phone was very helpful and canceled the service with no hassle. I m sure the service they provide is for some people but the door to door sales approach makes me think otherwise. Be careful when you answer the door.

Led me to believe that they were being sent out by PG&E to confirm things for PG&E and even called PG&E, showed me that they were listed on PG&E s trusted website, and continued to say that they were just confirming rates and were being sent out by PG&E. Was my fault for trusting them, but turns out they signed me up to purchase gas through them instead of PG&E. They are a legit company but I don t appreciate being manipulated and lied to. It was fairly easy to call and cancel service through them the next day.

The five stars are for the representative who assisted me yesterday. She was very personable, professional and helpful and told me of a plan that would save me money. I'll give Vista 4 stars. Because I feel like they should communicate with their customers of their own volition if they see a plan that will save them money. It's great that I was told of this on the call I made to Vista, but if they had their employees look over customer statements on occasion and contacted them first, on a plan that would save them money I think they would grow very rapidly through word of mouth. I wish I had known about this other plan that wasn't available when I signed up. Another option would be to send out postcards to their customers letting them know if new plans.

I wish I could give negative starts. A salesperson came to my house and was very rude. I told her no soliciting please and she said she wasn't soliciting. I asked if she could leave a flyer for me to review and that's when she got crazy. She said she had rights to be at my door soliciting and then asked me which room from my house was hers. I couldn't believe what she said so I said excuse me, then she said it again " tell me which room is mine" with hands up like she was ready to fight. I told her she needs to leave and closed my door. I really hope the owner of this company reads these reviews. I can't believe someone would think they are entitle to a room in my house. What else do they think they are entitled too. Too scary.

I recently call Vista energy to discuss my account and received excellent customer service, the agent was very informative and explained my options with this company very professionally. The agent was very kind, soft spoken and very eager to resolve my issues. My experience was very delightful and considerate, so thank you for the experience.

Highly unethical door to door sales practices by this company. Their rep was very persistent and refused to leave when asked multiple times. They also misrepresented themselves as working for my current energy company and tried to force me to get my current bill information. When declined they asked for my social security number. They would not leave. The next time they come to my door the police will be called.

Let me make this clear, the last representative I spoke to in order to confirm my cancellation of service was very nice and I wish them nothing but health and happiness. I don't recall getting their name but my call was recorded so it may be possible for the business to look it up should they want to know who deserves to be recognized. As far as my personal experience with the company overall, I was signed up by a pushy sales guy who came with a group of other Vista representatives to our apartment complex where soliciting is not allowed. The guy told me he could sign me up with their company that would save me "a ton of money" if I agreed to get my gas through them via PG&E with the gas procurement program they provided. I told him I wasn't interested but he persisted and promised I wouldn't regret it. He seemed desperate and I reluctantly agreed to sign up in hopes that he was right about me not regretting it. Fast forward to now: I regret it. I stayed with them longer than I should have (well over a year) but was also trying to give them a fair shake. The first so many bills didn't seem so bad but it feels like things had gotten even more expensive with them and often times cost me more than PG&E was charging me AND it appeared as if I was paying TWICE (once for what PG&E charged and once for what Vista charged) for the SAME gas. My bills got higher and higher each month despite my efforts to conserve whenever and wherever I could. Upon further review of my past billing periods, Vista was to blame for a majority of the price spikes over past year's bills during the same time of year weather-wise and my usage remained about the same. I should have canceled sooner because I didn't save "a ton of money" with them; I only got cheated out of more. I want my money back but that's not happening. The least I can do is warn you guys about this sham of a company. When I called PG&E to also let them know I wanted out of the program, I asked the guy if he thought Vista was legit, to which he stifled a laugh and said that he could not confirm nor deny their legitimacy as a business, but that they did exist as a company that could procure gas for others. That much I already knew. As far as them being able to save you money? Don't even bother.

Vista Energy rep (Kathy) was very helpful, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service! She explained our original contract rate had expired, then offered two different plans where we can pay for natural gas at a per/therm rate. This will cut our gas billed amount by more than half. She also updated our contact info, saving me having to do it online. Thank you, Vista, for proving a live person to assist with customer service!

Why would you do door to door sales at 7:30 pm pitch black out, during corona virus? I want to speak to someones supervisor. Also why did you hire the sketchiest, ignorant sounding people to go door to door. They talk loudly and spit in front of peoples residents. Not even dressed professional, and asks to see our personal information. Our cat ran out the door and the guy still tried to sell me a scam contract. They harassed another resident for not buying into their scam and the police were called.

Until I made a phone I wasn t fully aware that there was an annual renewal requirement to lock in our therm rate. Naturally I was very disappointed to learn that Vista Energy was charging us at the variable market rate thus eliminating any savings we would otherwise be entitled to. From now on I m checking in with them as to not leave it to chance. Funny how a service company campaigning for your business cannot offer a simple reminder. After all it s not like they really DO ANYTHING, right?
