After being disturbed at my home by a door to door scam artist while I was sick and fevered I was tricked into signing up with this company! My bill went way up and I never got the promised gift cards that I was promised. I kept paying until the contract was up and then changed. 2 months after I changed they sent me a early termination bill that they can sue me for bc they will not get another penny from me especially when I was robbed by them for a whole year already

The agent was polite and eager to help. She seemed able to answer questions about your services. I had questions that were not usual. We talked through the issues regarding a mobile home park. And then referred me to PGE for usage rates. It was very helpful.

I was told this review was for the representative who I spoke to on the phone. She was very good, very professional and understood why I was calling right away. She connected me to a new plan which better suits my needs. So far - all good.

I decided to cancel my account with Vist because it was double what I would have to pay PGE. I expected to get a customer rep who kept me on the phone trying to change my mind. Instead I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rep just offered to cancel my account with no argument. I appreciate good customer service and will consider coming back to Vista if my gas bill goes up with PGE.

Vista representative Anna was very polite very helpful in explaining the program and what to expect from my billing. She made me feel confident that I could try their services and if I wasn't happy with the changes that I could call to cancel it and there would be no charge for cancellation. RIPOFF and BAD business. I used their service in Wyoming. We sold our house in April and termed the service. We got an extra bill for $150. That is their termination fee for terming the annual contract in April. The new contract for service would have started in June. Our monthly bill was less than $45/mo. If I had paid for April and May, I would have paid less than $90 total. I offered to just pay the two monthly bills of $90, but they want their $150 term fee. That is ridiculous to add those types of fees on folks. Vista is a great example of why there should be choice in your utilities. Wyoming you get to choose! Choose a different company!
UPDATE: Changed from 1 star to 3. Within 30 minutes of posting this review I received a call from a supervisor named Chris. He said that they would remove the $150 charge from the bill. He also asked that I update this review. I do have confirmation that the charge has been removed. Thank you, I appreciate it! The following Information is for Vista to use: Some more facts: There was no follow up from the original call to Customer service agent Shania on 5-9-19 who said that they would call me back on 5-13-19. After receiving no call, I called back on 5-20-19 and was routed to Cathy - a supervisor who said no to taking off the $150. I also should point out that I did not have any issue before this and that all of the customer service people that I dealt with on the phone were reasonably nice.

Anna helped me understand how these plans work. She gave me the best customer service ever. I know about customer service, I was a css for 40 years. Thank you Anna for your patience and a very pleasant experience and conversation. I almost canceled Vista but thanks to Anna I will continue.

Tillie was very polite, patient, and professional. She explained how Vista Energy and PG&E works which was not explained when the two gentleman came to my home to talk about Vista Energy. Im so glad she broke it down to me. Her customer service was GRAND!!!

This company more than doubled my electric and gas...

This company more than doubled my electric and gas bill by using them. In Ohio my electric bill use to be $30 - went up to $60 with them. My gas bill is now $182 form the month of december!!! They claimed it would be cheaper to use them as a provider but they totally screwed me over and now I am stuck with this insanely high utility bill. Beware it also takes awhile to cut services with them. I am reporting them to better business bureau.

Had one of their salesman come to my door named Mike asked to see my bill I told him no he answered back that he had to see my bill or basically my gas would get shut off I told him 4 times no you're not getting my bill he absolutely refused to take no for an answer very aggressive completely unprofessional tried to intimidate me raising his voice telling me I had to show him my bill if I had showed him my bill he would have took my account number and switched me to his company called the public utilities commission and filed a complaint they have received numerous complaints about this company saying that once they see the account number they switch their bills over to their company stay away from this company

Scam!! Signed up from door to door salesman who pressured us. After he left did some research and realized this was not a good company so we called that same day and canceled. They said they canceled it and it would not go through. Well our next utility bill came and they had charges on our bill. Called the company back and they said it shows it was canceled and did not know why they were charging us. If its on there again next month I guess we get a lawyer. These were not authorized charges!

Kathy was super efficient in helping with my rate. I had not kept track of the date when I needed to contact them to reset the rate before winter. She told me to call next December before it goes to variable rate (when the gas heater goes on ). My bill went way, way up due to elderly Mom moving in and needing more warmth than usual. If I had called before, the bill would have been much lower. I marked my calendar. Thanks, Kathy.

I called Vista and spoke with Laura Perez, when I called I was very upset, but after talking to Laura she was able to help me and explain all the details to me in a professional manner. She was patient and very calm to talk to talk to. She is a real customer care person.

The door to door sales were very misleading and enrolling would have doubled my bills, BUT talking on the phone with both Chris and Kathy from customer service was very pleasant and easy and they personally both deserve 5 stars.

Spoke to an CSR, she was unable to help me with my issue. However, when I asked to transfer me to a supervisor, within minutes I was already speaking to Mr. Francisco. Francisco was carefully listening to everything I was telling him, after I was done talking Francisco had already found a solution for my issue.
Needless to say, I was very pleased with his service! I will definitely recommend anyone with this company and especially to talk to Francisco for any concern or issue! Thank you Francisco, and Vista Energy!

They explained their services to me very well and signing up was simple. Whenever I have had any question, I just call their customer service department and have all my questions answered. Have never had any issues with them.

Reps from Vista kept coming back to my door so finally my husband listened to them but after he listened to the rep for a while he told them he didn't understand and didn't want their service. I guess the rep was desperate because he forged my husband's signature and when through the phone confirmation on his own as well. So we were signed up without our authorization. I called and cancelled before we paid the first time and after paying them 3 times I called again to find out why I was still being charged and to get a refund. The manager sent me the signature they say is my husband and let me listen to the voice confirmation they had and needless to say it wasn't my husband's signature or voice. Even though I told them their proof was fradulent they still won't refund any of the payments I made(through PG&E). All they would do is put me on a no call/no knock list. What makes me the most upset is that they were charging me more than PGE ever did and they knew it. They act like they are helping you when in reality they only have their own profits in mind. Do not sign up with this fradulent company.
