They have a wide selection of audio and video products from major brands and occasionally have some pretty good sales. If you are making any large purchases then they are receptive to bargaining and making deals that work for both parties. Just make sure you do your research before hand as the salesmen are on commission. I especially like their extended warranty that converts to store credit if it is not used by the end of the term. This makes the extended warranty very attractive and one of their main selling points in my opinion.

I ordered a Sony Master series TV through salesperson George C at the Marine Drive store and the experience thus far has been all that I could have hoped for. And more. George has been very informative and has provided excellent, knowledgeable guidance without any pressure at all. He has been in touch with Sony on my behalf several times to check availability of this new high-end TV and has phoned and texted me information and answers almost continually. The store even opened early one day for me to come in ahead of others. Amazing! George appears to be able to place himself in the customer s position to understand our expectations along with what is ideally needed in a salesperson. The experience has been great. I highly recommend George C at the Marine Drive store to all others. The only difficulty is to wait 7 weeks for the TV to arrive ;-)
Just bought a Samsung 65" Q90 series TV from this Marine Drive location a week ago. I am so enjoying the fantastic 4K picture! That being said I would like to personally thank George for his knowledge and expertise for helping me choose the right tv at the right price for my budget. I never felt any pressure to make a purchase with George. I felt that he was just there to give me the right information to help me in my possible purchase from any store. To me that was the main reason for my purchase from George, TRUST!!! If that is not enough to buy from Visions, consider pricing because they beat the price from all electronic stores that I had checked out. Thank you George, keep up the good work!
Purchased my Sony HTST5000 sound bar here. The challenge of buying the right sound bar for different setup and application has always been a challenge for me as the sound stage and the quality of the sound is always very subjective. I met George, the sales associate in the store and I must say he was helpful and making the process efficient for me to make the decision. I think in the era of e-commerce dominating the market, a personal touch from the store associate definitely boosts the perceived value of the whole experience.
Went to 3 visions stores before coming to marine drive. Met George and his product knowledge, professionalism and courteous service is exceptional. I knew I would be buying from him and I did. He was very patient and eventually we struck a deal that worked for all. Extremely happy with the purchase and the service George provided.
Originally came in looking for some help with picking out audio equipment for my car. The original sales staff was fairly helpful, caring, and took the time to answer my questions. I ended up spending a total of around 1300$ on some items, and took home what was currently available but was notified some of the items would have to be shipped. This is a normal thing, and was understandable. Originally I was promised a phone call after a few days to give me an update on the parts that were being shipped. This did not happen. I went back into the store after some 2 weeks to get an update. I was again told id be called in the next few days for an update. almost a month later i get nothing and call back into the store. After around 30 mins on hold i finally get to talk to someone, and after going on hold for another 15 mins i get the answer "your item has not been ordered yet, i will place the order now". Okay fast forward another 2 weeks no calls so i call again only to get the same no idea when its coming response. 2 weeks after that I get a phone call from someone higher up in Visions looking to see how I like the product (which i still dont have) and tell him my story, and the response i get " i will call you back tomorrow and see whats going on". Of course never happened. 2 1/2 months after the original time i visited the store, i came in, in person to see whats going on, and return the rest of the items, but of course this time the product was available and "had been here for quite some time". If you value your time dont deal with these guys. The original product i was sold doesnt even work the way i was told it does, and has since stopped working altogether.
Wonderful experience at Vision Electronics. I baught Air pod with good price from this store from an employee named Krupesh Patel. Nice behaviour. I would like to do more shopping in coming days with some best deal or offers. Thank you.
Pushy and annoying salesman. Went just before boxing day to buy a 55" LG OLED and the guy kept insisting I buy the warranty with it . I tried to tell him that my budget was tight and I would not have enough for the extra $300 plus of insurance he was trying to sell me . He then suggested I take out a Visions card since having more credit cards would also be good for my credit he said. I wanted to support a Canadian company but F it. Got the same deal without the insurance and pushy salesman at Best Buy.
Purchased new QLED 55" Samsung TV from Visions. George made it easy and answered all our questions and concerns about choosing between OLED and QLED. Thanks again!
I had a slimy feeling about Visions for reasons I couldn't specifically recall, but I went in anyway this evening to look at car stereo decks as I've just purchased a used vehicle that does not support iPod or Bluetooth. I explained to the salesperson exactly what I was looking for and he suggested a $139 JVC model. When he went to look something up in the system, I spotted a Kenwood model with identical features for $10 less and asked about it. He could provide no concrete reason, but strongly pushed for the JVC.
I told him that I have steering wheel audio controls in my vehicle and would like a unit that is compatible with those. He informed me I would need an additional $120 module to connect them. I wasn't pleased at the price of the unit essentially doubling, but agreed to take the Kenwood model with the steering wheel control module, figuring $250 (while more than I wanted to spend) wasn't terribly unreasonable.
He took me over to the computer to complete the sale and schedule the installation. I declined the warranty two or three times - the first time he ignored me and carried on listing features. After checking the flyer to see if there were any sales on the item, he told me installation would be free. Much to my surprise, he then told me the total before tax was just above $400. When I asked why, he got extremely irritable going over the line by line cost breakdown with me. It turns out the "free" installation he mentioned only covered the labour of installing the deck itself, but not the additional apparently required parts nor the labour of installing the additional module or the Bluetooth microphone that came with the deck (which in itself was $27.50 to install - more than a little insane).
I told him there was no way I was paying that and started to leave the store. He followed me and tried to convince me to make the purchase by reminding me of their policy to beat a competitor's price by 15% and (once again) telling me about their warranty. I thanked him but said I would not be back as it made no sense to me that "free" installation still almost doubled the cost of the item. Now I know, avoid Visions from here on out.
Rythm is a magical guy. Last month i have been over there. I have no idea what sound system should i install in my brand new Car. The way he explained me everything in depth, i just made the decision right away and got installed. Yesterday i received call from him. They guyz keep seeing we dont face any issue. Now am enjoying my music. Thanks for everything Vision.
Very nice staff. The salesperson name Fenil guide me throught the gaming laptop and explained me really well about the specification of the laptop lineup. Nice Gaming computers options. I like the "HP Omen gaming laptop" I might recommend "VISIONS ELECTRONICS" To my friend's and family.
I have made multiple purchases over the years including flat panel tvs, DVD PLAYERS, PVRs, projection tv, speakers and subwoofers, tv stands, etc and always from the same salesperson, George Chaplain.. George has always been very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and helpful..last week a Polk Audio subwoofer I have that is out of warranty and as soon as I phoned George he came to the rescue and arrange to get it fixed. That's hard to find nowadays.
George has always been very competitive with prices and I have always Ben confident that I would pay too much.
Great service. I was helped by Rhythm in car audio. He got me some great pricing on double din radios for a fleet of trucks I was working on. He was also able to bring in security cameras and worked with us to find what our specific needs were.
Went there looking for a TV that they were advertising. At the store the sales fellow immediately started up selling. I knew what I wanted and insisted, finally he said they did have it, then he started pushing the extended warranty, I said I didn't want it, I thought he nodded. We get to the check out, it's on the bill! When I insisted I didn't want it, he literally would not take it off! Offered me a discount on the warranty but would not remove it. I walked out.
Dealt with Visions manager Rhythm and representative Nikhil tonight. They went above and beyond with their professionalism and service. Will definitely be coming to Visions marine drive for my future purchases. Highly recommended. -Gary T.
bought a TV and sound bar. George Chaplin was my sales person who walked me through all the different kinds of TV's giving all the pros and cons. After purchase I needed some tech advice, I called the manufacture, they were not able to help so I called George and he was able to find the right person and information to properly link my TV and sound bar.
Very unfriendly sales people, I was looking for a soundbar that was on sale, the sales guy even after telling him I wanted the item on sale because was for my TV in the basement, nothing expensive, he was not interested on telling me it was sold out, instead he showed me top of the line soundbars, on my way out I see a Sylvania soundbar with Alexa built in on sale for $68.00 bucks, so I got me one. The cashier asked if it was my first time shopping there and I said, YES and my last one. Not going back there.
George Chaplin went above and beyond for us. He was honest with the product we wanted to buy and helped us at every step of the way. You don't get this kind of personal one-on-one service at the bigger stores. Highly recommend!

Been ages since I shopped here and boy how things have changed. First, their 'expert' had no idea what he was talking about. Then, the item I wanted that was advertised on sale....wasn't available. Finally, get home and find everything I need online at "Crutchfield.ca" for 20% lower than Visions sale price....and that's delivered! Sorry Visions, but it will be a long time before you see me again.

I have been going to Visions now for many years and I always get amazing service and pricing from Francis. I always purchase the extended warranty which compels me to go back and get more and more products. This year I purchased 3 Danby Air conditioners... They are amazingly quiet and cool the rooms very efficiently. I have nothing but good experiences with Visions Canada.
