Great place for breakfast food whenever you want it! Also a plus is it's open 24 hours a day. What's not to love!?

Good food! Service a tiny bit slow, but makes it feel like your not going to be rushed.

Stopped in after Home and Garden show. Walkable distance from convention center. Great atmosphere, casual dining, reasonable prices. Food we ordered was very good. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive, that could have been because of shift change. Would definitely go back.

Ordered doordash tonight, my shake was forgotten. Doordash driver refused to return and get it, I called the night "manager" and asked the restaurant to bring it to me as I'm in a 14 day quarantine.The "manager" was rude, refused to take responsibility and acted like he could care less. Luckily doordash refunded everything. Would of liked the restaurant to take responsibility, but this doesn't happen at this place, I have had two bad experiences before when dining in.(late night service worse than Perkins) Food isn't that great, they could at least try to make it up with the service.

My go-to for late nights with friends. Comfort food doesn't get any better & the shakes are still worth it for those with lactose problems :)

Had a BLT with avocado. Wasn't anything special, but was also had fantastic honey mustard dipping sauce. Good strawberry soda from MinneSoda. The people I was with got milkshakes, one with alcohol and one without. Both were fabulous. Cute space, decent service.

Great place for breakfast food and burgers. Staff are always friendly. Food comes relatively slow but the restaurant is never empty, so it is excusable. Overall great experience.

I got their food delivered at 8am and it was terrible. I spent almost 100 dollars and the lack of effort and quality control put into their food was wack. My chicken looked like it was cooked for about 15 minutes. My toast wasn't even buttered. The gravy sucked. Breakfast food is almost always a hit but not here. Maybe I'll try their dinner menu some other time but I wont be getting breakfast here again.

Tried this place multiple times with a horrible expierence every time. If your looking for a place with terrible service, the over welming smell of piss, and an outragous wait time for anything, this place is for you

Good food, friendly service, a bit high on the cost of food, but the first two make up for that.

The food was pretty good, but the service we had was awful. They didn t once refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything and there was food all over by under our feet it was gross. But hey food was really good

Food is good. Could use a couple more people on staff. Maybe they were shorthanded but long wait to sit and then pay. Ticket time was decent for what was ordered and how busy they were.

Love this place! Staff is great, tunes are awesome. Where else can you get a cocktail, breakfast, and poutine at midnight?

Generous serving of steak and eggs to cure a 2 am beer induced craving at the only place open that time of night, who can complain.

Very spendy little diner, but the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great.

Service time can be iffy depending on the time of day you go but the staff is always very nice. Love everything I've ever tried from breakfast to lunch, dinner, dessert, coffee and the milkshakes, But the French toast is the definitely number one on my list!! I get a side EVERY time!

Great Shop...great Sales...good customer service....lots of stuff for tabletop games

It used to be a good place, not the same. I did not even get to order or even get bought a glass of water. I was even asked if I could get my own menu. I left after 15 minutes of no service. The guy that was carrying all the other employees work was really nice and apologetic, that's why I gave 2 stars.

Aw my GOD THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREAT FOOD. GREAT ENVIRONMENT. FAMILY ENVIRONMENT, GROUP, KIDS, AND ALCOHOL. FRESH FOOD.

The food is amazing but I tried to call in an order tonight and I waited on hold for 26 minutes and counting...27, 28, want to wait now to see how long it will be before someone actually picks up. Eat in DONT call in your order!

Blueberry Banana Daiquiri for breakfast? Hell yeah! This place is the bomb!

Only 24/7 dinner in the whole city!! That's crazy but lucky for them they do have good food, You get exactly what you should expect and maybe a little more. However nothing to really blow you away but good for any meal at any time, just like a 24/7 restaurant should but that's easier said than done. Customer service takes this place from a 3.75 to about a 2.75 which is sad because a place like this is supposed to thrive on customer service more than most, but I just think the city as a whole doesn't know how to have a unique 24/7 dinner!

Being open 24/7 is HUGE in Minneapolis. Good Food, friendly staff, okay prices. The new bar and flat screens are great!

This place is a staple for me ! It's always busy ya'll so be patient waiting on your food! Its well worth it :) love the staff !!

Hands Down, one of the best spots in Mpls!! Always a safe and inviting atmosphere. I never have a bad experience when i go to this establishment. The food is ALWAYS PERFECT. They are efficient even on Doordash. I get my meals quickly and can't complain! This is it right here!

I've gone a bunch of times. Yes, if you go at the wrong time, this 24 hour diner has some pretty rough clientele (midnight-bar close is gonna be rough for you). But the staff is always great and the food is always satisfactory. Love this place.

Nothing special about the food I tell you that much. Basic. Expensive beyond belief. I bought cheese curds and I had to pay extra for a side of ranch. That and a coke plus minimum tip, $20. Unbelievably rude customer service. Never going back to that dump.

Extremely slow service. When the orders finally came out they had mistakes. Made no effort to apologize, and the manager acted like it was our fault. Stay away.

Very curtious upbeat diner. The food was exceptionallying good. I could not get enough of the Hallandale sauce with the eggs Benedict. Just amazing.

This a real deal classic diner! We went for brunch- the eggs benedict was delicious! My daughter also tried a shake, which was amazing. The server was fantastic. Definitely looking forward to going back to try out other items on the menu.

If you want a quick bite and easy breakfast food, it's a nice little place. Their coffee size is huge! I got the White Lightning coffee and the small size was big ($5).

Two stars because the food has always been good, I Like the diner environment and it is open 24 hrs which is great. I also believe in good service and feeling welcomed in a place of business especially if I am a paying customer. I have never had exceptional service at this place its always been mediocre at best and my most recent experience I didn't feel welcome at all, which is sad because I've been coming here off and on for at least the past 7 years.

I literally live right across the street from this place. I ordered "HOT" open face meatloaf sandwich. I was told 15 mins. so I was there10 mins. later because I'm literally less then 1 min. away. My food was already on the counter waiting for me.... I get home and my mash potatoes are cold! Like just came out of the fridge without being warmed up Cold! My meatloaf was cold and dry as well! $20 buck down the drain! It was horrible!

Over rated. Waited 1.25 hours for my meal. Even busy, that's unacceptable. Plus they tack on a wellness fee (3%) without notification. I would not have minded but they tried to sneak it by. Let me know ahead of time that I am contributing to benefits for staff that ownership is too cheap to provide. Food was ok.

The service is down to earth (which I love), the portions are hearty, filling and flavorful. Simple and done right! My bacon was a little on the crunch side for my taste..but then, I didn't mention how I liked it so cant really complain there! The Bloody Mary is the best in the twin cites! I spent under 30$ for two meals and drinks!

my boyfriend and I live just around the corner. We've been here a whole bunch of times. If it weren't for the shakes/malts we would never keep returning. The wait staff is incredibly mean. I've worked in the food/customer service industry for 9yrs. I've done it all. the past 2 times we visited we had the same waiter (his name was jerry or gary). After 15 minutes of waiting i had to get up myself to ask for a glass of water. and he literally glared at me, put his finger in my face and replied "i'll get to you in the order in which you arrived." like he was offended. i literally left in tears. My point is, the food is great, the wait time is unbearable, the servers are nasty and mean (especially this jerry guy), and you are probably better off ordering delivery through bite squad to avoid the hassle/tears. If the owner ever reads this i hope they take this to heart and gets their wait staff to shape up and get rid of that pretentious prick.

I gave this place a second chance the other day after I had a lousy service a while ago. This time around, the food service was good. It still isn't quite yet woo-hoo, but it's way better. The waiters were better than last time. It looks like something was done to help improve the place. I'm sad to say that I saw Erik again, and he's still the same prick as he was before. Lucky for me, the run-in with him was brief, but brief is still too long.

The chicken wings, French fries, and mochas are good, but I have made numerous to-go orders here over the last few weeks and the service is consistently bad regardless of time of day.

I have repeatedly had to wait 15-20 additional minutes for someone to come to the pickup window and hand me my order after I got the text that my order was ready. When I call their number it automatically places me on hold and no one picks up. I don't recommend ordering to-go or the pumpkin spice lattes.

The food is delicious, and the service is so fast and friendly, I've always felt comfortable. I eat there about twice a month and the food is always consistent...Way to go Nicollet Diner!
