Been to a few concerts here. The guest service experience alone is a study in excellence and efficiency. A wonderful venue. I should know, I've played in most of the outdoor sheds in the US. :-)

Great venue! Seen plenty of shows there and I always have a good time. Plenty of parking if you get there early and plenty of choices when it comes to food once inside.

Had a great time! Staff was very helpful. One of the ticket checkers offered my daughter a set of ear plugs for the show which I was grateful for because I had left ours in the car. It was warm out and they had FANS! Which in Tampa Florida they don't? Which makes for a miserable summer day. So the fans helped cool it off.
I drove with my father and daughter to see Poison/Cheap Trick because when I bought the tickets there was no show scheduled for Florida. But in the long run I felt it was worth the drive up there to see it.

Fantastic venue but difficulty sitting on chair in lawn section. Too steep so suggest just bringing blanket.

My husband and i went here for concerts it was reall nice and fun we had a lot of looking forward to going back would highly recommend

No way around the horrendous traffic before and afterwards...pack snacks!

Loved my experience here!!! Great atmosphere, great location, and overall perfect venue for outdoor concerts! I look forward to come back!

Saw Santana and the concert was fantastic! The music was awesome and so was the band. The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre for food was disorganized. We decided to get there early and they only had lines marked for the "Fast Lane" customers. Same with the food too. There seemed to be too many people on the food service prep area. We ordered 1 cheese burger and I veggie burger. The veggie burger came out first but it took them forever to get my cheese burger. Even though we ordered first, the "Fast Lane" people were getting their food first. When I got my food it was wrong and I waited another 10 minutes. I waited 30 minutes for my food with literally no one on line. When I finally got it, the order was wrong. I got an over cooked hamburger with no cheese and a piece of tomato on it. The fries were cold and so was the hamburger bun. So I would advise to eat somewhere else before the concert.

Great time has by the family and the staff is very friendly
Only down side was the Danny treho tacos was not so good I will have to say down right nasty buy overall experience was good we came from douglasville Georgia and the long ride to the venue was nice only thing put out more signs to show you were to park

Probably the best outdoor venue around Atlanta, not really a pre-game parking lot like lakewood amphitheatre though... some of my favorite shows have been here

This has been the best parking and exiting experience I have had at a concert. The staff did an excellent job!

Have been here 50 times and this is by far the worst experience I have had. The line was over 25 min to even get in the venue. If this is how things are going to be for Verizon this concert season, I'll just pass.

Great venue. The place to see a concert.
And the people that work there we're very helpful especially helping the ladies room line go fast. Kudos to the female workers that pushed our line through tonight at the Heart concert

Great outdoor venue! Can get crowded on the lawn depending on the show. Had some really good times here. See the Carl Black girls for free stuff!

Great venue. Concessions are ridiculously expensive though. Prepare to spend $15 for a beer.

Great space! Got told my chairs were too tall, but they let me leave them at will call. The beer is 15 a pop... so i suggest tailgating.

Great venue. Although food and alcohol is way too expensive. Fire some "supervisors" and make the food and alcohol cheaper. Needs better preparation for mosh pit as well.

Great venue!! I like that it cover!! ZZ Top was awesome!!

Saw Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Diamante, and Dorothy. It was so much louder than the Simpsonville, Sc ampitheater where I just saw Shinedown, but I think thats the difference between a seat or getting blasted by the speakers pointing toward the grass. There is good rain coverage in ATL if you have a seat. On the grass you should rent a low pro chair or bring a blanket if you want to sit. Hot as the devil til the sun went down but what do you expect in Atlanta in August? Water was $5. Alcohol was $13.50 for a beer and up. The large video screens were very nice and clear for the grass seats!

Extremely nice area and great atmosphere to enjoy your favorite artists live. They are pricey for food and alcohol but I've always had a great experience with the staff. There's plenty of ATMs, bathrooms and parking is also good.

Earth Wind & Fire sound great although I could not enjoy the concert because I could not get over the fact that I paid good money for two tickets with seats that didn't exsist. When I showed my ticket stub/row/seat to the seating agent for direction, I was directed to the sold out lawn area where I had to stand behind the crowed with my date the duration of the concert. I email Verizon Ampetheater the next business day to convey my concern and disappointment and never got a response. I will never purchase another ticket there again. Beware!!!

I went to see Carlos Santana at this venue...my first time there and was thoroughly impressed from the layout of the amphitheater, to the rental of the chairs, selections of drinks and food...the only issue was that I had to move (on the lawn) due to a drunk a$$hole...but other than that I had a great time!

The best concert venue in the Atlanta metro area for large bands. Keith Urban's concert was FABULOUS. Great seats, good food, good wait staff!

Went to see Nelly & Florida Georgia Line. Good tailgating scene, plenty of parking, the line to get in was kind of a pain but overall the show was great and the production was on point.

Only negative is a note to the sound guys, the left side of the drum kit's cymbals didn't sound like they were mic'd. Granted we were in the lawn but the drummer was going crazy on those cymbals and I could only hear the right side. Pretty sure I'm the only one that noticed.

Worst concert experience I've ever had, from chaotic parking, no signage showing any kind of direction, clueless attendants and horrible acoustics, will never go back to this venue, no matter who is playing. Total RIP off.

Highly recommend a rock show here. Even the deep lawn seats get fantastic sound and perspective.

I like the venue, especially sitting on the lawn in my deluxe beach chair, but hate paying their outrageous prices for a beer! $13.50-$15.00 In my opinion is gouging & greedy!

Great venue. Great people. It s very open and very clean venue compared to others.

while it's a nice venue. the food and drink prices are an absolute robbery. enough that we'll pass on ever going there again

Worst outdoor amphitheater I have ever been to, and I've been to a lot. The lawn is so steep it's a huge physical effort to stand on it and keep your balance. I imagine it was designed that way to provide a better stage few from the cheap seats, but there's actually better visibility on flat lawns. Total backfire.

Amazing facility! Super clean with great acoustics. There's not a bad seat in the whole place.

Two hours to get in the parking lot from 1.5 miles away. Terrible job tonight for Earth Wind and Fire. Missed the first 1.5 hours.

Great venue,,parking situation definitely needs improvement

The concert was a blast but the only thing we had a problem with us we standing there where we can see a little bit closer we had been staying there for 2 hours and this lady that works there Live Nation told us to move because it was a fire hydrant and there were nothing there butt pose or emergency land so I see no point in moving I seen other people standing there just as well so had a bad experience with that but everything else was great Jake Owens Chris Janson David Lee Murphy and so we had a very good night besides all that

Finally they put bigger video screens. Nicest concert venue in Atlanta area. Clean restrooms and easy to get in and out of parking. More bands should skip Lakewood and come here.

Smaller amphitheater but super nice. Lot A parking is small as well so it wasn't such a nightmare getting out.

Love going to see and hear concerts at this location. They have ample parking and there really is not a bad seat in the house. The only not that I have on it is that the seats are not very big, they're not very comfortable, and they're too close together. If they would spread them out a little bit it would be a lot better of a facility. With that said I understand that they're trying to pack as many people in as possible.

The staff working for the show were nice! The employees at the cupcake shop were great and the seats are pretty roomy. I had an amazing experience seeing Florence and The Machine here :)

Great atmosphere, great music,it's definitely a place that has all the fans in mind and acodamates as much as possible to a truly wonderful time

Great venue. More intimate than others I have been to. Had a blast at Phish!

Place is amazing minus the concession stands , waited in line for 25 min for pizza and they didn t even have it , or a sign up or something , also girl in front of me was waiting for her beer for at least 10 min i had to finally say something and they brought it , bunch of workers being lazy cuz they were almost off ! Eat before you get there they were not ready for Phish fans haha

Solid venue! Great view from the spacious lawn, nice employees. The concert was fun, too

I had a pretty decent experience here for the Pop Evil, Cheap Trick and Poison concert. I did not like how people from lawn seating kept bouncing back and forth and taking empty seats around me. It was pretty bad and no one stopped them. Some of the staff were rude and not helpful. All around it was fun though.

Not to be a North Ga snob (i live in cherokee) but it sure was nice not to have to go down to Lakewood and get my window busted out in a scam lot so soneone could grab my sunglasses. The staff was MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer and helpful than Lakewood and rhe venue was the best one could ask for. It's Chastain without the cheese eatin' corporate seatin' snooty apathy crowd. And no "venue" fee or forced paid parking. Id see Cheap Trick their daily if I could.

Horrible Parking and traffic in and out of venue it s not worth your time going here. Worst venue I ve been to in Atlanta.

Nice venue, but seating is tight for being outdoors.

Food and drinks extremely over priced. $19 for a vodka. $10 slice of pizza. Live Nation Parking attendants had no idea what they were doing. Traffic trying to get into parking lot A was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! They were not checking parking passes and let anyone in. Very dissappointed!! The venue itself is nice.

The non-scummy version of Lakewood Amphitheatre. Definitely one of my favorite venues to see a summer concert.

Great venue, allows you to bring chairs for lawn, but offers rentals for $5 each, week worth it. Parking close by USD limited.

Great theater. Seats were awesome. I could read insignias and stuff from where I was.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place! I will never go back again.

The "free" parking you are assigned when you purchase your ticket is meaningless as they close and re-open access to the lots on a whim. We were rejected from parking in lots 3 times, including our assigned lot twice, before finally being directed into the parking lot of a nearby business. The hour delay caused me to miss almost the entire first act, which is what I came to see.

Also know that the cover over the paid seats does not keep out rain. Any rain that blows in is whipped about by the fans and falls all over the covered area. The cover is still better than nothing, but don't expect to stay dry.

I've been to a lot of concerts and I never got treated so good at this venue they take you to your seat and show you where your seats are and help you in any way possible I advise anybody to go to this place I'll be going back and I live in Tennessee so that tells you a lot about this place.
