Rita is a crook! She bragged to us about how she was going to overcharge someone moving out as we were moving in. Bad omen for days ahead. We lived here for five months while our house was being built. We were shown a newly renovated unit. We were rented a old dirty unit with ancient carpet and appliances. The fist week the a/c broke. The were called twice before they actually fixed it. They made a mess and didn't clean up after themselves. The pot shelf had a half inch of dust on it. The patio was a sand box of filth. The walls and floors are so thin, you can hear everything your neighbors did!The grounds were covered in litter or dog waste. The pet stations were without bags often. The roaches would climb the stairs. The rats in the dumpster would come on to the patio tell me how much they love the management. The pool is so dirty the rats won't even swim in it. They charged me $900 for carpet! We had to contact maxx properties to reduce this charge to $489. If you rent here, you will regret it.
My husband and I moved in 2 years ago and have had nothing but negative experiences at this place. The first day we moved in, we went to pick up our keys, but the customer service was awful. When we asked for the keys, the ladies working that days stated, "are you serious? We were about to go on our lunch break." So, when we finally get the keys, none of the appliances were working and it took maintenance a month to finally come over. They towed our vehicle away that was registered to the complex and their reason was that it looked abandoned (we were in the process of repairing because someone stole it the first week we moved in nor did we ever get out vehicle back.) There are police always coming and going and people loitering on our stair case. Lastly, most of our wonderful neighbors and ourselves received a letter stating that we need to move out of the complex entirely or transfer to an upgraded unit by the end of our lease (our lease ends in less than 2 months.) When we went into the office to ask how much the upgraded apartment is, it was $300 more than what we pay now for a one bed room. They charge a $95 move-out cleaning fee, but when we moved in, nothing was cleaned. Save yourself the trouble and avoid all Maxx Properties at all costs.
Cristina in the office is pretty nice and helpful, but the apartments are poorly made. For as much as you pay in rent, you'd think you'd get quality living. The insulation is so poor you can hear every foot step people upstairs make. And then if you have insensitive neighbors with kids like I do living upstairs, it makes for a miserable place to live. I've just been here a month and it is one of the biggest regrets of my life. My poor dog has experienced anxiety from the noise from upstairs and is miserable. So much so, I had to give him to my mom so he doesnt have a heart attack. I told the office but do you think they did anything? And the parking SUCKS! The parking spots are so freaking small and close together. Nothing about living here is positive.
I have also had a package stolen from my front door. I've lived in a lot of places and many apartments and this place is the worst. I am counting the days my lease is up. Every day I live here, I hate it more and more. The worst mistake anyone could make is moving into this hell hole.
i been here for almost tree years and honestly all i can say is there is so many bad reviews about this place amd personally i dont have a single problem in all this time the complex is nice quiet amd clean all the time i love this place so if u have bad reviews here u must be the problem not the place not the personal at office
My apartment was run down looking. Fixtures falling apart. The oldest appliances you could ever find. I had so many neighbors moving in and out. I saw mice crawling up the walls outside and it took them 3 weeks to get pest control out. Thankfully my lease was up at the end of the month. And they did not want to refund my deposit, saying it cost $95 to clean the apartment when i left that apartment cleaner than they gave it to me and renovated it anyways. Staff has attitude and does not return calls.

he's a very nice apartments and I lived here for several years however the only downside or problem with them is that the rent has steadily increased up to what I consider to be a very unreasonable level for the amenities they provide.... For example years ago when I moved in I had a two-bedroom apartment for $720 a month and by the time I moved out it was closer to $1,100 a month in rent...
Apartments are OK, for the price, really you pay for the area if anything. Cristina in the office is pleasant to deal with always but Kelani is not! Every single experience with her since the first day she has a terrible attitude and could care less about even faking being nice. Hard to get through to them and never get any issues addressed.

Lived there from 2016 to 2019. It was a great area to live in as it was convenient. The apartments were okay, but nothing to great. I only moved out because they wanted to renovate my apartment which was fine, but the fact that they didn't offer a place to relocate within the complex shows they cared more for making a profit over accommodating a resident.
They're very fake, they put nice little notes and what not on the doors and do a bunch of fun little events to show their "thanks" for you living there. But on valentines day we came home, we saw a little valentines card on our door and behind that was a note saying that there's a huge chance throughout the week that our homes can be entered, with our without us home, and they're going to 'inspect' our apartment. A week later, (We already knew about this 'inspection) they said they're going to enter our home, search every single room and closet, and make sure all the appliances are in working order. Yeah right, they just want to get in your business. Unless you like North Korea simulator, you shouldn't move here. I mean the apartments are nice, but the management team is very nosy, and two of them are extremely rude.
I have lived here for 2 years, finally moving out now. My boyfriend and I started out paying 720/month for a 2BR/2BA.. now we pay about 1000/month. Office ladies are completely incompetent and say one thing then 3 days later they say the opposite. We had cockroaches the entire term of the lease and pretty much needed to call and schedule pest services every other week. Half of the time they "forgot to schedule us" and the other half we assume the pest guy came and just didn't leave us a maintenance record. I would NEVER recommend this complex.. unless you want to overpay for an apartment infested with roaches then DO NOT live here.
It is off-putting to see birds in traps around this apartment complex. This place appears shoddy and dirty with all the traps openly set up. The residents don't need to see birds slowly dying like that, as it is disturbing and distasteful. Moreover, people do not pick up after their dog's waste. The walls are thin and I can even hear my neighbors cough. Ear plugs are a must. Maintenance workers are really the only plus as they are kind and helpful. Staff at the office are friendly too, but do not seem to realize how negatively it reflects on the apartment complex to have bird traps around.
please save your self the time! This place I'd horrible! Where do I start , first this place is infested with roachs the first night we moved in we counted atlease ten are patio never got used because of all the roachs we complained and got well everyone has them umm no I have never lived in a place this bad!! Second the staff is so rude! You can't even pick up a package with out a rude remark. Sorry that I asked you to do your JOB! The manger doesn't care how anyone in that office treats paying tenants! She is never there or when she is she in her office doing nothing letting her staff talk down to people ! They lie about everything! And they always have to be in everybody business! I would give them a 0 if I could ! Please don't waste your time with these people! There are a lot more places in this area ! One last thing everything in the apartment broke at least once and took months to get replaced! If I can save one person from living here I would be happy!
Would not recommend unless you do not mind paying silly money on the move out !! No one I have spoke to got away with out paying on the end of the lease. I was personally told $850 for replacement of carpet in master bedroom. When Kimberly and the other girls worked there it was a friendly and nice place to live but things have changed.
Current resident, waiting on maintenance to get here to fix my washer machine shop nice 9 this morning. Called an was told they put it in as an emergency. No call or anything from maintenance. Instead a contractor shows up at 9 pm to rip up my carpet that gotten soaked from my washer machine..... really people, if your looking for a place like the slums, save your money go to the slums don't pay there high prices to be mistreated.

I was a little shocked, and highly dismayed, that I received an offer to renew my lease at a whopping 11.56% increase! That increase is an example of PRICE-GOUGING, motivated by greed. They have made no improvements to our apartment whatsoever. This decision was obviously made without a conscience or a care.
In the lease agreement that I reluctantly signed, they demanded an outrageous 60-day notice when I intended to leave. Needless to say, they will not hold an apartment for 60 days, but they expected me to notify them before I could even secure a new residence. And if I could not, and I was stuck staying past my lease expiration, my rent would increase by 38.75%.
Our stay there has not been the best experience.
The air-conditioning motor in the apartment is very loud. Sometimes when it kicks on, it is so loud that it startles me. I reported that, and was told they they re all that way (so live with it!).
On two occasions, there were approximately 40 people in the pool area, most of whom were not residents, attending a party. (I was under the impression that each resident was allowed a maximum of two guests). They were drinking beer from glass bottles. (I was under the impression that glass was not allowed in the pool area, for obvious reasons). And all this was accompanied by a good deal of foul language and rowdy behavior. Quite frankly, we no longer felt SAFE in the pool. This WAS reported, but obviously fell on deaf ears. Why make rules if you are unwilling or unable to enforce them? Or do you not even care?
The gates at the entrance to the pool are not secure. The locks can EASILY be circumvented by applying enough downward pressure on the gate. This allows outsiders access to the pool. And they do. This, too, was reported, but has never been fixed.
One of the lamps in the pool area is out. That was reported, but was never fixed.
The shower floor by the pool is covered with slime.
There is a treadmill in the exercise area that has not worked in the year we have lived here. The third time we reported it, we were told that it was too expensive to repair or replace. Then why do they leave it there, with an out-of-order sign on it?
The air conditioning in the fitness room is not working. In this heat, that makes that facility completely unusable.
The jets in the hot tub continually fail, and are not fixed for weeks after they are reported.
I realize it doesn t rain often, but there is a gutter right outside our door that needs repair. When it rains, the gutter empties right onto the sidewalk leading to our staircase. I reported it, but nothing was done.
We are in the apartment closest to where dogs are taken to take a dump. A lot of people don t like to pick up after their dogs.
The shower changes temperatures at will, so I risk freezing or scalding myself at any given time.
The pool is shut down for extended periods of time, inexplicably.
They schedule people to come in and measure rooms, for remodeling purposes. They don t ask. They just schedule it.
And finally, after we thoroughly cleaned the apartment prior to moving out, they ILLEGALLY deducted $95 from our security deposit refund for cleaning.
If you are thinking about moving here, you are probably desperate, or you didn t read the reviews.
