My husband and I moved in 2 years ago and have had nothing but negative experiences at this place. The first day we moved in, we went to pick up our keys, but the customer service was awful. When we asked for the keys, the ladies working that days stated, "are you serious? We were about to go on our lunch break." So, when we finally get the keys, none of the appliances were working and it took maintenance a month to finally come over. They towed our vehicle away that was registered to the complex and their reason was that it looked abandoned (we were in the process of repairing because someone stole it the first week we moved in nor did we ever get out vehicle back.) There are police always coming and going and people loitering on our stair case. Lastly, most of our wonderful neighbors and ourselves received a letter stating that we need to move out of the complex entirely or transfer to an upgraded unit by the end of our lease (our lease ends in less than 2 months.) When we went into the office to ask how much the upgraded apartment is, it was $300 more than what we pay now for a one bed room. They charge a $95 move-out cleaning fee, but when we moved in, nothing was cleaned. Save yourself the trouble and avoid all Maxx Properties at all costs.
