My 8 year old dog came down with a high fever and his back legs were weak and collapsing. My regular vet referred me to VCA. After paying them over $2500 my dog hobbled out with a cast on his FRONT leg and a recommendation for a $6500 surgery. Dealing with the vet was like dealing with a crappy car salesman. The cast was completely awkward and made his back leg stability worse and about a week after he was discharged from VCA he tore a ligament in his back leg on the same side. VCA also diagnosed him with an autoimmune disease and I was told they did joint taps, only later to find out they did NOT do the procedure properly for multiple reasons and there is a good chance they diagnosed him incorrectly. He has been on steroids for a month, suffering from pretty bad side effects, possibly for no reason!! I am on my third option and am being told that my dog does not need the cast for his front leg and will now need a surgery on the back torn ligament, which will be at least another $2000. My new vet and I are in agreement that VCA is basically responsible for this becuase they never even checked the problem we came in with they just looked for a way to get $$. VCA also called me with a made up cardiology appointment and after I told the girl on the phone that was not true they still called my vet the next day to request the dogs new X-rays of the back legs and spine. Thankfully my vet called me before sending anything. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Their communication is terrible, you will wait for hours, and the prices!! If you have unlimited income and don't care about customer service, spend away, but I'd rather get good care and competitive pricing. Every emergency vet in the north end I have been to is WAY better: NE vet in Wedgwood, Lake City animal hospital, and Seattle Veterinary specialists in Shoreline all get 4 stars from me. Don't waste your time with this place.

WOW am I disappointed! I don't like writing negative reviews, but need to share my experience...

I am new to the area and I have 3 pugs. Last night, our 9 month old puppy fell out of my sons arm and is limping. This morning she was shaking and threw up 3 times. I called today and they seemed nice and said to come right in. I asked and was told X Rays are normally $250-300 (ours ended up being $350!).

I was there less than 30 minutes later. There was a sign saying it MAY take up to 2 hours, but I looked around and there were only 2 other people waiting and a LOT of employees (I counted at least 30 different employees while I was there). They were having issues with their new computer system, but 3 nice employees had me fill out some paper work, they told me they would take my dog to the back and get right to me. NOBODY mentioned a long wait and neither did the person on the phone, so I figured it wouldn't be too long....

An hour later I asked where my dog was and they said they would check. They came back, told me there was one person ahead of me and they would be with me quickly. They said Lily was comfortable and wasn't in pain, so they didn't give her any medicine, and was laying in a comfortable bed in the back. I was surprised the little puppy shaking in my arms and unable to put her leg down "wasn't in any pain".

2 hours after arriving, they had taken in multiple people (some without appointments) who had come in after me. I asked again what was going on and asked when we would be seen. I was told the doctor was still with the people ahead of me (despite multiple people going in and leaving). At this point I had to leave and my wife took over the waiting. 2.5 hours after arrival they doctor called her in. They said Lily may have a break, but also has other issues (a Pyometra) that we knew NOTHING about. They STILL hadn't given her X-Rays. The doctor (who was really nice) asked my wife to come back in 45 minutes so she did. The doctor (who didn't bring Lily in) told my wife she had given her pain and nausia medicine Our poor little girl went 2 hours sitting in the back of a vet clinic, injured, scared... and JUST GOT THE PAIN MEDICINE!

Finally 1 hour and 45 minutes after seeing the vet and being told to come back in 45 minutes the vet saw her again. They didn't see any break, but they were (and are) concerned about a Pyometra (on a 9 month old puppy). They said to have the Pyometra done ASAP, keep an eye out for the leg to get worse and told us our bill would be $585. They brought Lily out, had my wife wait out in the waiting area for discharge papers.

35 minutes later she finally got the discharge papers. In them was an emailed receipt that listed no services, and showed $0 (despite the $585 they charged our card). I also watched as a woman waited at the counter for a LONG time for her discharge papers. This poor woman had a pug in a diaper that couldn't stand and a baby in a car carrier that was crying and despite the fact they had all the employees there, nobody helped, everyone stood around and she had to wait for a long time for them to figure out their new computer system!

I am going somewhere else, and had the Dr. not been so nice would have given a 1 star review. I will NEVER be back!

I will stick with facts and not mine or my wifes opinion. We felt it was time to lay our little Sassy Anne to rest on Thursday as she has cancer and has really bad days, she survived the extreme glaucoma she'd had after we had the eye removed but at almost 16 years, it was just time to take away all her pains.
I called ahead but was not warned about a 2 hour wait time when we showed up. But my wife and I felt that it was Sassy's time so we reluctantly waited. A person eventually showed up in our room and wanted to take Sassy away to weigh her and put a catheter in her. We explained that since this was Sassy's last time on earth that my wife and I would stay with Sassy through out whole process and that she would not leave our eye sight. FACT : staff was annoyed
So we continued to wait. A person came in and talked with my wife about what was going on with our little girl, then left. A little while later another staff member came in to administer a shot into Sassy's hind quarter which caused our Sassy to yelp out in pain. This person then left room and said they would be back in about 10 minutes. During our waiting, Sassy started to convulse, heart raced and was extremely uncomfortable. I opened our room door and yelled out and a staff member said she would get the Veterinarian. We waited and after a few minutes I had to yell out again and another staff member said she would get the Veterinarian and FINALLY the Vet came in and told us " oh thats just normal and she was fine " and then left. So finally after the shot had been administered 16 minutes earlier, two young women came in to insert catheter. The one young lady shaved the rear hind leg/toe area and proceeded to put this huge catheter into Sassy's vein only she did not get the vein and spent 3 minutes with catheter under Sassy's skin poking at and trying to get this catheter in place. Sassy was in so much grief and actual pain she cried out several times and the young lady said she could try a different leg. She proceeded to shave a front paw and I had finally had enough. I picked up my little old girl and held her tightly and told them there was no way I was going to allow them to hurt Sassy any longer. She wasn't suppose to feel anything and yet her last moments in life would have been of pain and discomfort. My wife and I were angry and horrified to say the least. We took our girl and walked up to front counter and told them we would pay for the one shot they gave Sassy and after the secretary ran off to the back to talk with the Veterinarian, came back with a $ 208.47 bill with these descriptions : Emergency Examination $110.00
Methadone HCI inj 10mg/mL C-2 ( per mL ) $ 51.95
Alfaxan Inj 10mg/mL C-4 ( per mL ) 46.52

FACT : Sassy Anne did NOT receive ANY type of examination !
FACT : Sassy Anne received ONE shot so the charges for both medications HAD to have been a cocktail !

We paid this bill and it also left us wondering what actually has happend to our previous puppy kid who is no longer with us that his last visit on earth was at this place we will NEVER return too ! I want to say so much more but do not want to be victimized by this Company any longer. Sassy is home still trying to recover 2 days later from the one and only shot she received from this place.

If you have a dog or cat is serious condition, this is the best and only place to bring them. They are amazing. Fudge is in the best hands and gets fantastic treatment. They even let us hobo crash in a room the night he was operated on. They treat you and your loved furry like family.

We took our 15 year old border collie in for cluster seizures they took bus right in no problem. Front desk to the assistants we're all awesome. Our dog went peacefully the Doctor was very empathetic and listened to our stories about our old guy.

Great team of doctors and staff. Hats off to Dr. Gambino and crew for saving Chet. He was one day from death. Had a stint place in his bile duct which was 100% blocked. Don't get me wrong, it was a long road to recovery and cost was a factor. It's great to have him EVERYDAY and I love him 100 X's more. Thank you.

Last Friday night my 16 month jack russell Charlie Was hit by a car we first took him to another vet only to be told they wouldn't do anything without payment first and my husband didn't get paid until the following day so we took our boy home and made him as comfortable as we possibly could and the next morning we took him to VSC they were kind, caring and compassionate and handled Charlie with absolutely nothing but love. With ex-ray's we found out Charlie had shattered his pelvis and dislocated his hip. His bladder and intestines came through his abdomeal wall and we're just under the skin. He needed emergency surgery or he wasn't going to make it. We were blessed and had some really amazing people donate the money to help us save our precious Charlie. About 8,000$ yes they are expensive but this place is the best emergency care you will find for your pet. Charlie needed surgery to repair his herniated bladder and a femoral head and neck excision we were lucky that our boy is as young as he is and that he is just a little guy also. Charlie stayed at VSC for 6 days and received the best care that we were able to find for our little guy. We are forever grateful for the doctors and staff at VSC for without each and every one of you we would not have our boy right now! Thank you so very much
The Steik family!

Real bad service all they want is your hard earned money got robbed for $250 just to be told my dog was "lethargic"because she "ate" or had some type of "contact"with marijuana when i know for a fact she did not she has never been around or anywhere near that..or that she proubly had a seizure and i missed it and that was the aftermath. Wasnt really much help.

From the moment I made my first phone call all the way through my follow-up phone calls with questions about medication, I felt like every person here treated me and my pet with respect. Everyone took the time to make sure that all my questions were answered and I understood what my options were, including all associated costs. I don't have a single bad thing to say about my experience.

Hell, they even washed my cat box for me because he had vomited on the way there. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

To put it quite simply these people saved my dogs life and I am eternally grateful. The service and care was special and each person I spoke to seemed nicer then the one before. My dog required an MRI, serious emergency back surgery, and a week in the hospital. They were so understanding, helpful and compassionate that I can't put it into words. I have my dog today because of them.

My pug says he's very happy with their attention to him! He had started to have problems with walking as far as usual. We already knew he had back and hip issues so we started with that. I took him to another place that had a water treadmill but he couldn't go for more than 5 minutes so we started to think something else was going on. We were referred to a wonderful neurologist here. It only took a few minutes for her to know it wasn't his back or hips causing his problems. She gave us a possible diagnosis but needed blood work to confirm. Unfortunately, it came back positive for the disease she had thought, which it like MS in people and only affects pugs. I was able to take that info to our regular vet and he's managing the disease now. If we hadn't gone here, I doubt we'd have a diagnosis and wouldn't have been able to care for him like we need to, to slow the disease. I'm very impressed by the whole team that helped my pug baby!

I've had two poor experiences here.

I've had two poor experiences here.

1) My daughter had a gerbil that was not doing well so we brought it in. They said they'd observe it overnight, hydrate it, and take whatever action was needed (if any). We went to the back room to check in on the gerbil before leaving, and I was surprised there was a half-dozen young people working back there, laughing and goofing off quite a bit. The next morning we got a call that our gerbil had passed on. The bill was over $350. Nothing was done, no services, just watched it pass away. We could've done that at home and saved $300. I guess we have to pay all those teens to goof around though.

2) My older dog just had almost $2,000 worth of tests and exploratory work because she was coughing badly. Our regular vet recommended this place. All the work was done, but then the follow up was horrible. A short phone call from the doc with no instructions or conclusions, and a paper report a few days later that said nothing about "next steps" or "recommended action". We just went to our regular vet (months later) for our annual checkup and she asked how the steroid treatment went. What? How can you get $2,000 worth of work done and it not be made perfectly clear to the owner what's supposed to be done next? My dog's been in pain for months now because nobody told us the next steps to take and the paper report was nothing but medical jargon, with nothing that said "diagnosis", "next steps", "medications suggested" or anything at all. Doing "work" without communicating the results to the owner clearly is completely useless.

Pretty disappointed overall. Service is okay, follow-up and bedside manner could use a lot of work, seem very happy to take your money regardless. If my dog(s) need more help that we can't get at our regular vet, I'll be asking for a different referral.

I had such a positive experience at this place! After I took my dog out for a walk, an unleashed larger dog initiated a fight and bit my dog in the hind leg on both sides. When we entered the clinic around 8:00 pm Misha (our dog) was bleeding and a Tech came out right away to take her back to see Dr. Bush. Dr. Bush, along with all of the tech staff, front desk etc. treated my family member SO incredibly well! I was so very relieved to witness for myself that these guys know what they are doing and actually care for your animal. Dr. Bush also took into GREAT consideration our financial options and was extremely upfront about the costs the entire time, might I add with a smile on her face. My doggie was there for a few hours considering the depth of her bite, and when we picked her up she was cleaned, stitched up, coned, nails clipped, all while being on the lower side of the cost estimate! I would most certainly come back here again for any emergency animal needs! Thank you SO much for taking care of Misha VCA!

Took our dog in for a ruptured disc in her neck. They ended up doing surgery and removing the disc. They did such a great job. Extremely clean, friendly and professional. Thank you so much for everything. Our dog is all back to normal like nothing even happened.

We had a good experience at 11 p.m. at night when our cat was gasping for air after being spayed. Reading the reviews I was scared they were going to do all these tests that were unnecessary and I'd only been approved for $200 at scratchpay. The vet came in and said her lungs are fine she's got her mouth open because she can't breathe through your nose she didn't think X-rays were necessary. They gave her few things and now we just watch her for 24 hours and after that I can take her to vet that's open more in my price range. She looks better just having had some iv fluids.

These folks may be great with the latest techno procedures but they are clueless emotionally if you need help sorting out the best option. You have to put your own feelings aside instead of the other way around and grill them for the information you need to make the best decision for you and your pet.

I was appalled when they came in to place an IV in my long time pet friend who was to be euthanized talking in baby talk to my pet, saying how cute he was. It was all routine to them as they carried their little instrument tray in making light conversation. How about taking the temperature of the room? The pet was being set up for euthanization, not a nail trim.

We had heard a lot of questionable things about this place but it was Sunday. They didn't come back when we were ready to leave. We left our dead friend lying on the floor alone in an exam room. Get a clue folks.

I appreciate the care they provided us. However, the doctors don't cover for each other and so we had to wait and call multiple times in order to get our dogs labs and what the next step should be. Our doctor answered all of our questions but only works Sundays and Mondays.

One week ago, my elderly cat was hiking up multiple flights of stairs per day and requesting to go on long, on-leash walks. He d come down with sneezing and snoring so the vet recommended we get him a CT scan and biopsy if his blood work said he was up to it. His blood work wasn t great, but he was doing better at home a few days later when my husband took our cat in for what was supposed to be a consultation and recommendations on what to do next. I asked my husband to make sure the cat got the antibiotic shot our vet suggested. While traveling for work I hear that our cat is clear of cancer, but that scoping, biopsying and anesthesia had caused our cat to bleed out and he was struggling to swallow. His blood numbers were much lower.

My cat went through hell and may die because a vet wasn t cautious and pressured my husband into agreeing to the most invasive option which was not recommend for my cat and his blood numbers.

They sent my cat home with meds he couldn t swallow falsely claiming he could eat and drink again.

With the help of other vets, our cat might pull through. We don t know. Turns out, he only had a cold an a non-cancerous tumor, unrelated to the sneezing. My cat may die because of the aggressive and unkind treatment at this clinic.

Oh. And when he needed a blood transfusion thanks to their damage of his throat, but was at a better vet ER, they refused to sell it to our current vet -they wanted us to transferred our cat back to their care. They said it wasn t ethical for them to sell their last one. At this point, they should have given it to our cat freely.

I m so upset I took a vet s recommendation to sent our cat here and that, trusting them, I didn t read these reviews. Now my cat is another one of their tragic stories of loss and unnecessary suffering.

Highly recommend VSC for specialty vet care situations! We 1st went to VSC after our dachshund fell trying to jump onto bed & began to limp & have swelling in leg. It was Sunday, so no other vets were open. VSC has 24hr ER! They got us in quickly & did xray. Vet didn't think it looked fractured on xray, so they sent us home with pain meds & gave us option of paying to have radiologist look at xray. This is worth the extra money, because we got a call the next day that leg was broken & we needed to see orthopedic surgeon. We got in with Dr. Manashirova. Doc explained 3 options (2 surgical & 1 non-surgical). Surgical options were what was advised, but would cost thousands, so I opted for splinting leg & coming for weekly bandage changes for up to 16 weeks. The staff never made me feel bad for not choosing expensive surgery. I've been to other vets that have made me feel horrible for not paying for expensive services. Weekly bandage change fee was in $40 range. We tried stretching our visits out to over a week, but splints can cause wounds & skin conditions underneath & this began to occur. Each visit the vet tech took our dog back to the doc & they examined her, changed the bandage & came out to advise when we should come back next. At 12 weeks they determined risk of wounds was too great, so we discontinued splint & hoped for the best. Happy to report that our little dachshund prances around like she never had a broken leg!
Our 2nd experience at VSC was after our dog began having shortness of breath & passed out. She had a long standing murmur, so I suspected heart problems. Our local vet recommended a cardiologist. VSC has Dr. MacLean, who was wonderful! We had our dog get echocardiogram, ECG & BP done because that helps to determine the best treatment. The cardiology staff were very nice & laid out the cost prior to our visit. Our dachshund was prescribed 3 medications & is now stable. She's breathing normally & as active as she used to be! Thank you to all the staff at VSC! From everyone from front desk staff, vet techs, & veterinarians!

BEWARE! NO URGENCY! If you're pet is not actively bleeding on the ground, they do not seem to care. My pet was waiting in the back room for 8 HOURS before receiving ANY diagnostics. I understand that there are levels of care that are priority but if you take your pet to an emergency room you expect assistance within a reasonable time. When I called to get updates they were not at all reassuring or knowledgeable. They kept referring to my pet by the wrong animal-which was concerning. When I went to pick up my pet I called the number I used all day to check in and the line kept saying "unable to answer at this time." I called 6 times over an hour before trying to knock on the door (this is a 24hr facility). NO ANSWER. Receptionist saw me but ignored me. I rang the doorbell, knocked on a window. FINALLY got her to come out. Told her the phone wasnt working and she didn't seem concerned or surprised. She called me for my payment and then I still waited 45 min for them to being my pet out. I understand they get busy but this was so scary and outrageous. Total in and out for an x-ray: 10 hrs. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Awful - took our elderly cat who had blood in his urine and was straining to urinate. After almost 5 hours, and no treatment other than telling us his condition did not appear to be life threatening and his bladder was empty we were presented with a $300 bill which would have been much higher if I had authorized the services they pushed (fluids even though he was not dehydrated), appetite stimulant even though he was eating). I did say ok to pain meds which seemed much too high a dose - a medicine I have used before was for which this cat was dosed about half what they prescribed by my vet. On top of that the staff was rude when I did not authorize treatment. Clearly they are a business and seem to care little for the animals. My cat was clearly not offered a box and when we finally got home his towel was soaked with urine

Today was our first experience at this clinic. We made an appointment with an internal medicine vet after a multi-year journey trying to manage bladder stones in our cat. The staff at the clinic were fantastic- we had an appointment and were seen right on time. We spoke with a technician and two veterinarians, Dr Daney and Dr Schmid. They were all caring, friendly, and super communicative/thorough, asking us many questions to clarify our cat's history, and were also very well-prepared for our visit having read all of her care history (which they handled having sent from 3 other clinics). After her tests, we received a personal call from the vet as well as a thorough summary, printed and electronic, of the tests run, images taken, and radiological analysis. The best news was that they were able to confirm that the stone was no longer there, something our other vets had not been able to confirm. The level and quality of the care FAR exceeded any we have had at the other 3 clinics our cat has gone to. We highly, highly recommend this clinic for specialty care and lovely, highly qualified staff!

My dog Jax needed emergency surgery after a tumor on his spleen started bleeding into his abdomen. My vet recommended I take him here even though it's 20 minutes away from Seattle. So glad I did! Staff was really attentive and they called to update me regularly when they said they would. They were honest and upfront with me about what we could potentially be dealing with but they made me feel comfortable in my my choice to go ahead with surgery. Thankfully, I got his results today and it was benign!

Good care. Knowledgable. Capable of high level care if necessary. Long wait though. Took hours to be seen and do one test, and they had my cat away from me for 4 hours while I sat in the waiting room wondering how he was doing.

They came out periodically with a question or asking permission to do a test without much explanation. It felt super weird to conference on care decisions while sitting in the waiting area surrounded by other people. No privacy. In an emergency it makes sense, I guess, it's not like there are enough treatment rooms for all the people waiting, but it still wasnt ideal.

The free coffee was good. Lol, probably shouldn't have drank it while I was all worried and anxious though. Gave me more nervous energy and a stomach ache since I hadn't eaten all day due to being there.

I could tell they tried their best under the pressure of a busy schedule.

Our dog had got his leg broken and we didn t have enough to pay for him but we couldn t have payed for his injuries in payments but that wasn t a option and we need to pay so much upfront but we couldn t and he was such beloved family dog and the only options was to put him down and we had to go with that option they didn t care about our lovely boy they cared more about the money which isn t right because why become a vet if money comes before the animal? Our family is devastated and angry until this day it s not right this happened on thanksgiving day and we haven t been the same since.

My dog is currently undergoing 8 chemotherapy sessions following surgery here. The surgical & oncology staff have been caring, gentle, & respectful. My other dog had back surgery here over a year ago. Our experience was positive then too. Yes, the prices are high, but there are no surprises. It is laid out very clearly & options given on what treatment to follow. I have senior dogs & am glad to have such an excellent specialty clinic in the area.

I am very happy with the care my pet & I received at VCA. The cost was comparable with ultrasound vet who does not give a second opinion or consult on his findings. Actually it ended up about $300 cheaper because due to their 2nd opinion, a biopsy was not required. I was treated well. Our team was clear, concise & professional. The Doctor explained our options in laymen terms. The only things that stopped my review from being Excellent is: they said they would, but did not, give us a reminder call about the appointment & not eating after 10pm the night before. Also they tried to take Sampson's rectal temperature without warning & it freaked him out.

We had such a positive experience with Dr. Spoor. He did such a great job with our French Bulldog going through a disc injury. We were so impressed with him all the way through. We weren't able to go in and be with our dog going through this with the pandemic - but after speaking with Dr. Spoor we had so much trust in him handling our dog. We were so thankful to have him during this time and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Spoor and his team for taking such good care of our little one and getting his back healthy again!

Our cat took a turn for worse after being sick for two weeks. Our vet strongly recommended she be seen immediately at Speciality Hospital. This is an ER and hospital. Since there are no appointments some wait is involved. It can be fairly long if they're busy. Our kitty was very ill and needed to be hospitalized. She received top notch care by the entire staff. Before any care was given, the veterinarian reviewed her diagnosis, treatment, and both a high and low price for her entire stay. There were no surprises regarding her care. They provide all the high tech diagnostic testing and care found in a human hospital. They called us with updates and we were allowed to visit her. She was released with medication after one night. I feel we might have lost her if we hasn't gone to Speciality Hospital. I couldn't be more pleased or recommend them more. I was impressed with the entire staff from the front desk, vet technicians, to her two doctors. Please note the name includes "Seattle" in their name but they're located in Lynnwood, a suburb of Seattle.

This place is the WORST place to ever bring your animal. If i could rate 0 stars I would. Our puppy Pepper recently slashed her arm open (don't know how) and because of how badly fast she was bleeding we brought her to the closest vet near our home with all this snow. Which was this vet. When we arrived they begun by telling us many lies. One being that they would need to cut off her arm costing a lot of money and that her breed "doesn't clot" and because of it we needed to give them $2400 for surgery and for them to stop the bleeding. I had never heard of a dog that doesn't clot because of the breed they are so I knew that was bogus. We told them we didn't have that kind of money in our back pockets so they told us there was nothing they could do and they continued to let her bleed out. When we found this out we asked for her back to take her to another place where they could help us at cheaper prices, but they refused to hand her back over. We eventually had to leave to go back home which meant leaving her in their care, which scared us. They told us they left her in a kennel for the next two days because she was not covered by all her shots so they didn't want her catching something another dog might have. This meant for the next two days she sat in that kennel and peed on herself. They told us that didn't matter because they would periodically "clean her." Then they started naming other things she would need like a blood transfusion, which I found funny stating that her breed supposedly doesn't "clot." we sat up all night worried about how to come up with over $3000 speaking that they told us they would put her down if we didn't have the money by 8am the next day. After setting up a GoFundMe account and many helpful family members maxing out credit cards for us, we got what was needed for surgery at least, we would worry about the rest later. We told them we got the money and they then told us she no longer needed surgery or anything and we could come get her because she was now "clotting" good. We were so mad. We went and got her to find that all they did was wrap her arm in a bandage, didn't even stitch her close, and they still charged us over $1,000 for it, which we payed. That much money for a wrapped arm, still a exposed bone. We then wake up today to find that they charged my grandmother $200 out of her account and when we called to get it back, they told us they didn't "know how to return money". So we are still waiting to get that $200 back. Below I have shown a photo of her arm after we took her home from them. we paid $1000 for some badge. Her arm still looks like this...

This hospital saved my baby puppy Nova today! He ate something and it was stuck in his stomach. They got him right in at half the price of another veterinary hospital in downtown Seattle. The doctor and staff were friendly and helpful. We are so thankful that our Nova is ok and already so much better!

Money is first priority here. They know you have a sick or injured pet and instead of a little compassion and understanding you get in your face high prices. If you go here I highly advise a second opinion from somewhere else. Even if the price isn't cheaper somewhere else maybe they have the ability to not make it feel like your being taken advantage of. We were slapped with a $11,000 itemized bill before our dogs $600 ultrasound had even been done.

This place saved my dogs life last year and quite simply helped us make the right decisions with treatment. This isn't a clinic. This is a full on pet hospital that is manned 24/7, 365 days a year. It may be pricey but when things go south fast with your pet, they are truly life savers. I could go on about the petty things that EVERY vet ensues, but I won't. The folks here are genuinely there to help and serve your pet with the best care available. Highly recommended!

My dog needed testing and had to stay all day. Dr. Peterson was very thorough, quick and patient to explain her findings to me so I understood. They were very efficient with information; the estimate was emailed to me before I was finished speaking with Dr. Peterson so I could review it and authorize services. They took a bag of food for Sophia after she had her ultrasound so she could finally eat. The staff was helpful and answered my many subsequent questions. It's a relief to know your fur kid is being taken care of by such a good team:) even if it's a hard diagnos(es). Thank you

They don't care about your animal unless you give them money.. They only know what a test shows and no knowledgeable experience in pet health nor do they care to even think if they don't know. They just say I don't know..

The care here is good but I felt ripped off. My dog has been seeing their cardiologist who left last year - so in order to get his Rx renewed, they required me to come in and see their new Cardiologist. But they charged me as a new client when A) they have all his records and B) I'm not a new client. It should have been the same cost as a recheck - which is what it was - but they upcharged me $300 extra. This is probably common practice as most people just pay the exorbitant fees that are charged and don't question - but it was enough to make me want to never go back. Totally took advantage and it is profit over everything - just like the medical industry who recommends all the tests because they are highly profitable - not because we need them in most cases.

I saw this vet last Sunday with my miniature dachshund. Our dog was taken in the back and bought out to us multiple times while we were there. They did a urine sample and blood work to see why my dog was shaking and having accidents on himself. We were sent home to wait for results that should be back within 3 days. I ve called the vet multiple times to see if my results were in. I was told that the vet I saw there wasn t in but the results were that the ER vet said it wasn t life threatening but my dog might have a long term issue, this issue was never explained to me. I called back today 5 days after my appointment and spoke to another front desk person. I told her that I saw them last week and was told that my dogs results would be in and I never heard back from them. She told me that her team is VERY good at getting back to their patients. And that someone will get back to me, I asked her to see if the results were in and she said she didn t have access even though someone at this vet has already told me that they were in. During this last phone call I wasn t asked what my name or my dogs name that was seen I was extremely brushed to the side. I m am very frustrated and don t feel as if my dog is being thought of or cared for at this vet. I spent 400 dollars to get some answers to why my dog is having issues and haven t been treated well by anyone working here and am still continuing to wait for the test results to be explained to me.

My dog Coco got into some baking chocolate last night and I was a wreck with worry! We got him into VSC very quickly and they treated him promptly and were very upfront with us on pricing. All in all an overnight stay, heart monitoring, and many medications cost about 1000.00, they worked with us on payment options and told us about a credit option we could apply for if we needed. I've seen some reviews complaining of the cost, but treating medical issues in animals can be expensive just like with people, all in all I think that the people at VSC were compassionate and honest about pricing and they gave me an itemized list of services and I thought the price was very reasonable. Thankfully I got a call this morning that Coco is in the clear and could come home where he belongs! He's snuggling with me and our other pup now! I'm so grateful to the doctors and support staff who took such good care of my sweet boy!

Previously 3 stars. 1 Star for the cardiologist, Dr. Heidi McLean, for her lack of professionalism, lack of ability to explain what s going on with my dog s health, difficult to work with, lack of empathy, power of control, and poor bedside manners. Thankfully I found an amazing cardiologist who has helped prolong my dog s life and who really values quality of services for animals. The fact VCA allowed her to mistreat my dog and I is the reason I give it 1 star. She even deleted several other reviews I have wrote warning other passionate dog owners who care about their pets.

I had a poor experience with one provider who ended up making it hard to see other providers because she got upset with asking for a better rapport. I have never been so embarrassed by someone's unprofessional behaviors and the fact that they allowed her to just block my dog from receiving the care he needs. It's a shame that this occurred because the one who is suffering is my dog. They get 3 stars for the rest of the great service we previously received before this incident.

My dog tested as having stage 4 kidney failure, an...

My dog tested as having stage 4 kidney failure, and my veterinarian of 30 years recommended that I take him to a specialist. He suggested the VCA Specialty Center in Lynnwood. I made the appointment and due to my own schedule had to wait several days. In the meantime, I read a bunch of reviews about VCA Lynnwood, and they scared the heck out of me. With great trepidation, I showed up at my appointment feeling pretty edgy, and I probably wasn't as nice as I could have been. Despite that, the staff were courteous and prompt. My wait was minimal. Once we were taken to an examination room, the vet assistant was very nice and took time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, to the best of her ability. She also provided me with a cost estimate for the tests and procedures that might be performed.

The vet, Dr. Polly Peterson, came in and examined my boy. She answered all of my questions and said she'd like to do an ultrasound and blood draw, and they would take my dog into the back to do these things. I told her I wanted to be with my dog at all times. The team came into the exam room to draw blood, and after disappearing into the back for a couple of minutes, Dr. Peterson returned and explained that their radiologist refused to perform ultrasounds with owners present. In my experience, this is not unusual, but I didn't want my boy stressed out, so I declined the ultrasound. We waited until the blood results came back, and then discussed the somewhat puzzling results. Apparently he had other problems as well as kidney failure. Dr. Peterson really wanted to have a look at his insides, so she carted the ultrasound machine into the exam room herself, sat on the floor (I have a pretty big dog), and performed the ultrasound! She stated a couple of times that she wasn't a radiologist, so it wasn't official and I wouldn't be charged for it. Not charging me was very nice, but what really impressed me was that she would go the extra mile to get the information she needed to diagnose my boy's problems. During the exam, she constantly explained what she was doing and what she was seeing, and what her findings could indicate.

Dr. Peterson was careful, gentle, and thoughtful, always checking to make sure what she was doing was OK with me and with my boy. We discussed treatment options and ordered some further testing. I never had the feeling that she was in a hurry. It was clear that her principal objective was to produce the best diagnosis she could given the information available, and to figure out what we could do to help my boy while waiting for the additional test results. Part of that involved a change in diet, and when I indicated that I wasn't really impressed with the ingredients in most commercial foods, she gave me some recipes and guidelines for a home-cooked diet.

Overall, the staff at VCA Lynnwood were great, and I was very impressed with Dr. Peterson. Now, a week after his appointment, my boy already seems to be feeling somewhat better even though we haven't gotten all of the test results back. I have high hopes that we will be able to help my boy be happy and comfortable for a long time to come.

Money is the bottom line at this place. If you don't have it all at once, they won't help you. Although some of the doctors here are more competent than average, they are going to charge you exorbitant prices and, no, they don't care about you or your pet but then that's par in the animal medicine industry isn't it? Can't wait until I never have to deal with another veterinarian or veterinary clinic again. Disgusting.

Every person we talked to was very nice and professional, but they were very understaffed, making the wait really long (2+ hours) and making it hard to even get a hold of someone while there, with extended periods of time without anyone behind the front counter. Hopefully a fluke with our 1am visit but stressful nonetheless.

The Most Horrible Experience taking my dog to this...

The Most Horrible Experience taking my dog to this VCA animal hospital! I brought my dog in believing she had miscarried her pups, indeed she had but the doctors told me she would need at least $5000.00 worth of work done to save her life! Otherwise they would need to put her down! At this point its costed over $150.00 just to comfirm what i already knew, yes she miscarried! So I applied for the care credit card which was denied! Had a friend who offered to help and applied but was denied as well! Even if we did come up with the $5000.00 it was not a guarantee she would get well! So we were advised to just put my Doxie down! My daughter and I were shocked and in disbelief that this was happenening! We just wanted to take her home! The doctor told me I was going against his advice and made me sign a form saying that! They almost wouldn't even let me have her back! We finally got her back after fighting them for 3 hours! I brought her home, made her comfortable and nursed her the best I could. She was very weak and frail but still managed to drink some water and small amounts of food so I was hopeful! Day by day she made it through then week by week she gained strength and gained back some weight! She was such a trooper who had the will to live making it out of this horrible nightmare without the outrageous amount of money they claimed was necessary to save her life! Its been a year now and shes still here and I am so thankful I followed my gut and brought her home! I Wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone I believe they gave horrible advice and didn't care for my dogs well being and just wanted my money!

This hospital is accredited with board certified surgeons and vets. The clinical staff is the equivalent to a human hospital. The admin staff superior. This vet hospital is in the elite group and we are extremely grateful they are here in the state of Washington and our cat is fortunate enough to have been saved from a double kidney blockage.

I had to bring my beloved kitty in Sunday evening as she was dying I knew I would not be walking out with her. Upon entering at 9:30 p at night the entire staff was very nice and comforting and attended to us right away. They showed me nothing but kindness and compassion. I received a call yesterday which was 5 days after I had to put her to sleep to inform me my Marie s ashes were ready to be picked up today they were so kind so needless to say today will not be fun however a comforting and sincere staff will make it easier!

Our dog was in dire straights, ultimately having to be put down. The medical situation and potential outcomes were explained and price for service reviewed. They could see our emotional dilemma. As gently as they could, a detailed discussion ensued. We are so grateful for their honesty. They could have easily taken advantage of us, but they were honest and forthright. Not every vet would have been this professional and compassionate.

We ve brought our dog in twice for an emergency. This place is more expensive than taking to your normal veterinarian, but that s to be expected at an emergency clinic. It s a bummer, but it is what it is.
The second visit was the scariest, as our dog had a blockage in his intestines. He had to have an emergency surgery and all went well. They even saved what was causing the blockage to show us (our dog swallowed a squeaker from a toy). No more squeaker toys in our home!
We opted for the credit plan, cause of the cost.
In the end 5 star service from the front desk to the doctors, but I knocked down to 4 cause man oh mighty, it was expensive. But Walter is worth it!

We took our dog here last month for an emergency visit due to severe anemia. They diagnosed him with IMHA and we continued to take him in for regular visits for treatment. Unfortunately, he did not make it and we had to say goodbye to him a few weeks ago. However, even though the outcome was not one we were expecting, I did want to commend the staff at the facility for the extreme care they showed to our dog, and to us, during that difficult time. It's obvious that the staff care about their patients and we really appreciated that.

We brought our dog into the clinic on a holiday. The staff were really friendly and we were seen fairly quickly considering it was a waiting room full of people and their pets. The vet came in and had great bedside manner. Considering we had my husband and two kids there along with myself and our dog it was nice that they got things moving along quickly. The vet left after giving us information and told us that we would be discharged soon. Fast forward three hours later and we were still in the room. Finally our pup had to go out potty so we asked to take him out and that is when they realized we were still in the room. There was no explanation for why we were forgotten about - but they sure had no problem taking a $1000 before we could leave. This is one of the only emergency vets around - and although we have normally had good experiences it would have been nice to at least be able to get an explanation for what happened.

Great experience here. I called ahead of time to let them know our boxer was having an allgeric reaction and as soon as we came through the door they took him and attended to his needs. You gotta love animals to do their job and you could tell that every person in that facility loved animals and their job!!

I have unfortunately spent more time at VCA, due to health & emergency issues of my rescue dogs than I would like! Most recently, one of my doxies who snatches up everything on the sidewalk ate mushrooms before I could stop her. Many of them around here are poison & in fact the type that grow in our yard are the same type that killed 2 pugs in Bellingham last year. So, I am so thankful they are there. We have had nothing but the most professional & compassionate treatment over the years I notice a lot of the complaining is about cost.... Yes, it is costly, BUT that is the price you pay for having top notch emergency care available 24/7. In order to have the hospital properly staffed with professionals, ( & who are willing to work at 3 AM on a holiday, think about it) & all the latest equipment ( yes, I want to make sure the BEST is available for my beloved pets) & that costs money, bottom line.
Pets are not cheap & in order for us to have this service available when we need it, it is going to cost money. I am never happy to pay the bill, BUT am so grateful they are there if I need them. One other point people might not be considering, is that while your regular vet knows the specifics about your pet, a vet in an emergency situation does not & sometimes that means extra testing to get a better picture of the situation.
Frustrating, sure. I always prefer to be able to go to my own vet, because they know my pet very well & their entire history, but at 3AM or on a Sunday that is just not reality.

Brought my cat 10am with bleeding from his anus, they said it would be a couple hours and they would give me a call. Not once did I recieve a phone call, I had to call periodically throughout the day call to see if they had attended to my cat. I had been patient all day but by 5pm and still the doctor had not attended to my cat I was very upset. He was given an Appetite stimulant the day before being admitted and the whole time he was there he was not given any food. At 5pm they apologized and said it would be another hour I waited 6pm no call, I called them they apologized said it would be another hour. I was done being patient drove down to the clinic, the doctor said they just started and to be patient. At 7pm they gave me discharge papers, the doctor didn't even come out to talk to me to tell me how the procedure went the tech said it was in the papers....seriously?? My poor cat was ravenous when he got home. The discharge paperwork said the procedure took 15 min, we waited from 10am to 630pm for a15 min service. We will never go here again worth the additional drive time to go somewhere else.

The wonderful folks at VSC saved my 6 month old puppy Charlie!! He ate a toxic mushroom. Nearly lost his life. I am forever grateful for the amazing care he received. Only mild complaint is you get out on hold 9/10 times you call, it gives me the impression they need better staffing at the front desk but other than that, I absolutely recommend. These people know how to care for your pet.

My 11-year-old Dachshund, Zeke, was recommended by...

My 11-year-old Dachshund, Zeke, was recommended by his vet to have an ultrasound completed ASAP since he was still getting positive readings for pancreatitis after two weeks of treatment, yet acting completely normal. Veterinary Care Specialists was super busy on this Friday afternoon, but Autumn at the front desk was very accommodating to our situation (miscommunication issue at the animal hospital in Kirkland resulting in no ultrasound) and was able to get Zeke seen tonight. We did spend a good amount of time there (I arrived at 4:15 and we left at 8:30), but that is to be expected at an emergency veterinary facility and I was willing to be patient since they were seeing Zeke and there were other animals with more emergent needs (same thing happens at human ERs). The other receptionist who brought me back to the exam room and checked us out (I'm sorry I do not remember her name) was very kind as well and quick to get us checked out. Zeke was well taken care of by the radiologist who did a thorough ultrasound of the pancreas, as well as surrounding organs, and luckily found that he most likely didn't have pancreatitis. The extra care to perform all organ observations and not just the pancreas are greatly appreciated. Dr. Kanda was the attending physician for Zeke, and she was awesome! She was very personable and it was evident that she wanted to find the solution for Zeke as much as I did. She explained the findings of the ultrasound, agreeing that pancreatitis was most likely not the culprit, and the various courses of action in easy to understand terms (not doctor jargon), but was also detailed in her explanations to help me understand what was happening with my little buddy. She went through all scenarios and gave me all the resources available to make an informed decision while monitoring Zeke's progress to see what he needs. She also discussed a few other findings with me (some belly pain, as well as back pain due to dachshunds having back issues) and provided evaluation and recommendations for treating those as well. I especially appreciated that, as he is a senior dog and it's helpful to know all the things I can go to give him the best life possible as he gets older. She helped put my mind and heart and ease, knowing that he is going to be okay, even if he needs treatments later on (since GI issues can be chronic, especially in older dogs like Zeke). Overall, we had a very positive experience and I would recommend Veterinary Specialty Care to anyone who has a pet needing emergent/urgent care. Thank you so much to Dr. Kanda, the radiologist, the techs and nurses and the front office staff for taking amazing care of Zeke -- it means a great deal to us and we appreciate you all very much! - Sara Horne and Zeke

Our cat recently gave birth to some kittens but go...

Our cat recently gave birth to some kittens but got sick a week later. So we brought her here while under the impression that she will be cared for by a professional, but the doctor was no help whatsoever. We were there for 6 hours and all we knew about our cat was that she had a fever and low blood pressure. The doctor never informed us of how she was doing while she was with them. They try to do as many test as they possibly can to stack up the bill it seems like. I have read some of the lower rated reviews here and id say that they're pretty accurate. I would give this place 1 star but the nurses and assistants were actually much more helpful and informative than the doctor. After visiting VSC I've consulted a few people (breeders) about my cats condition and they said that what my cat is going through is super common and any real vet should've diagnosed it right away with out $3k worth of tests...

I really wish upon walking in they would have told...

I really wish upon walking in they would have told me I would have spent over 5 hours in this facility to not get a single answer or piece of helpful advice.

Upon arrival with my 8 year old cat they told me it'd be about 2 hours for assessment and for visit. I waited at least 3 hours before I got to speak with a doctor. The doctor said after an examination they were unsure as to what might be wrong with my cat. He recommended an x-ray of her front foot and of her spine to make sure she didn't have anything broken or wrong with her leg. She will not put any weight on her front leg. Therefore to rule out a break fracture or anything to the spine or bones I said yes a x-ray might be in order. I asked roughly how long that would be and how much that would cost. He said it wouldn't be very long and it would cost about 200 to $250. On top of the exam fee. I said that would be okay.

Another hour went by before I saw another person. Who then I asked politely if they could check on my cat and find out how much longer the doctor would be. They said not long, 45 more minutes later I got to speak with the position. He went over the fact they could not see anything wrong with any bone abnormalities and therefore didn't know what else to do at this point. He said it would be best to go home and medicate the cat and watch her for a couple of days to see if her condition improves. She may have hurt a muscle or strained some ligaments jumping or falling. I said that sounds great can you please go get my kitty cat so we can leave.

Yet another 30 minutes goes by and I finally ask up front if I could pay so that then when they can find my cat I could leave. Once they brought up my bill on the computer they said the X-ray would be $380. That is significantly more than what the doctor said.

Needless to say I am extremely irritated as to the quality of care, the communication of this facility, and the billing at this facility.

It is completely unacceptable to tell somebody who has their animal in for emergency care that it's going to be one price and then charge them a significant difference.

When you take your animal in for emergency care or any other care when someone tells you what they're going to do and what that cost would be, and how long that would be, I would expect the facility especially a professional one to at least it here to their cost and try to be more communicative if the time is going to be excessive like it was today. If an emergency comes in that's fine just communicate with your patients and let them know that it'll be another hour or two. Instead of saying all the doctor will be right in repeatedly. And then nobody ever comes until you come out to ask yet again if anybody is going to come and communicate with you as to what is going on. Again it's fine if there are issues going on but the communication at this facility or lack thereof is extremely inappropriate for a professional facility. And lastly if when you have someone in in a stressful situation to overcharge them and under quote something that then you're going to overcharge them for is completely disrespectful and unprofessional to people.
I frankly feel like I should be able to Bill them for my time that they wasted and not communicating with me. At least then my $130 would make the quote for the care that I received today correct.

Upset for sure.
No answers.
Huge Bill.
5 hours wasted could have waited at home till tomorrow or Monday to seek medical help, since that is in the end what the Dr recommended, rest and no activity till Monday then think about what we want to do. Thought I was hear to get medical advice, not go home search the Internet for my own advice.

I took my dog in here 3 weeks ago because he was limping. They said he would be fine he needs pain meds and rest. He's still limping and took him in to another veterinary clinic. He has a ruptured ligament and needs surgery. I let my dog limp around and be in pain because of the lack of attention these people gave him. Take your animal here on your own risk.

All the staff at this facility are friendly, compassionate, and handle situations with sensitivity. The box that was prepared with my cats ashes is a beautiful cedar box with name plate, his paw print was pushed into a piece of clay and ink blots were taken of his nose. This package is so beautiful and the perfect way to remember my handsome boy, thank you to everyone at this facility.

After a bad experience with sno-king vet clinic basically killing my dog, we took our little angel here to be cremated.

Our experience with sno-king vet was very traumatic and left us heartbroken (never going back again). VSC went above and beyond and put a smile back on my face.

We expected to get our 4 lb yorkie back in just a regular cardboard box after the cremation. The presentation was amazing! Our beautiful girl was placed in a nice wood box, they included seeds for planting in your pets memory. What really touched my heart, they included a casting of her paw print

We were in such panic and chaos when our yorkie died, we didnt think to save her collar when we dropped her off. VSC sent us her collar back in the mail, along with a condolence card.

Losing our dog was hard enough, especially at such a young age because the negligence of another vet (Gracie was barely 5), but VSC made it a little less painful.

Thank you for taking such great care of our angel and showing our animals are not just pets.

If I could leave no stars I would. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They are so money hungry its ridiculous. They do not work with you on anything and won't even help your animal until you have given them at least half of the money. My dog is just a little over a year old and ended up with Parvo. I took her to the pet hospital after taking her to the vet and them testing her for it. VCA wanted to charge me 3800-4800 to treat her. While I was trying to figure out how to get half of the money they left her lying on the ground at my feet whining in pain. When I had asked how much just a IV was so that she wouldn't get dehydrated, she told me that she wouldn't just do that she would want to antibiotics and everything at the same time. While all this was going on I was on the phone with my husband trying to figure out what we were going to do for her. He called his boss and he told us to call his vet they would help her. I ended up driving to Mount Vernon to get my dog help and it didn't even cost me 1000.00. This place is a joke and a rip off.

I had to take my 13 year old Chocolate Lab in as he was unable to urinate. He was already frail with arthritis and had unexplainable weight loss. He was tended to by Dr. Winter who did a thorough exam and discovered a large tumor in his pelvic canal. Dr. Winter was very kind and informative about his findings and what his recommendations were as to what options were available. He called with updates when he said he would. Unfortunately, the prognosis wasn't good and I had to make the agonizing decision to euthanize my Jaxx. Dr. Winter was very compassionate and gave my daughter and I as much time as we needed to spend time with our beloved boy before and after he closed his eyes for the last time. The staff were all wonderful and took great care of our boy.

Thank you VSCS for your compassionate care! Our 12 year old girl, Julie, was diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this month. Because of her age, we opted not to put her through chemo therapy, but rather to care for her and keep her comfortable until her quality of life indicated it was time to let her go. When we got the diagnoses, we reached out to a hospice vet and made arrangements for an in home euthanasia, so that when the time came, all of the necessary arrangements for a peaceful in home transition would be in place.

But, as often happens, things did'nt go the way we had planned. Julie's health took a very sudden down turn on December 23rd, so we got ahold of our hospice vet and made a plan for her to arrive at 10:00am the next morning to perform the in home euthanasia. However, after staying up all night with our girl, trying to keep her comfortable and out of pain, it became obvious that our sweet companion was suffering.

So at 7am on Christmas Eve, my husband and I made the decision to call VSCS and to bring her in. She couldn't wait until 10am to go peacefully in our home. The folks on the phone were prompt and empathetic as they took the necessary information, and when we arrived at the hospital they met us at the car with a stretcher. The techs who transported her handled her with so much care and love that I immediately felt like we were in good hands. They set us up in a room that felt quiet and serene, which was definitely not what I was expecting from an emergency center.

The vet was so warm and compassionate. I believe his name was Dr. Balas, but I was so distraught that I can't recall for sure. His bedside manner with us and Julie was honestly some of the best I've ever experienced, and I've worked in the industry for 15 years. He gave Julie a sedative to help her relax, and then left us alone to say our goodbyes. We didn't feel rushed and I can't express how much that meant to us. The communication from everyone we came in contact with was stellar and the empathy we encountered was genuine.

All this to say, although this was not the way we wanted our girl to make the journey, our experience at VSCS was the next best thing to an in home goodbye. And that's saying a lot. The folks here surrounded a very sad chapter in our lives with compassion and kindness and we will always be thankful!

The VCA reception desk, techs and doctors are the most professional, respectful and compassionate people I've had the pleasure of meeting.

The expertise they offer the community comes from their tireless efforts and willingness to train hard and acquire the necessary skills to treat animals. But their kindness, patience and love for animals - and the people who care for them - comes from their enormous and selfless hearts.

I wholeheartedly recommend taking your pet to VCA Veterinary Specialty of Seattle.

I am so grateful for this place! They saved my cat from renal failure from eating a stargazer lily leaf (don t buy lilies in stores, or plant them, if you have a cat- they will kill your fur baby). The staff Loves animals, are super sweet, and lets you know all the steps involved. This is my first animal trauma experience. They treated my Camille like a champ! Please get your pet on pet insurance if you haven t already. It will save you And your pet in times of emergencies.

Wow, I have been here helping dogs with their problems. The work is excellent but takes time and is often way more than you expect it to be. Is it overcharging, I don't think so, I think it is the thoroughness of their work. I high recommend having you own vet and using VCA for emergencies.

I took my 19 year old cat to Dr Shaumpers ( sp?) after referred to by Blue Pearl for a stroke. His is a neurologist and examined her right away and gave me her treatment options. He was professional, compassionate, and was wonderful with my confused Maddie. I followed his recommendations and not only am I feeling much calmer and anxious, my cat is recovering nicely. I give this place 5 stars as I was a basket case and these people were lovely in every aspect. Advised me every step in the process of the costs and options.

I just moved back to Washington so I didn t have a new vet and when my dog got extremely injured I went to the nearest place, which happened to be them and I m happy it did!! Though my wait time was kind of annoying with her circumstance (she was bleeding badly from an injury), I reminded myself that I don t think they saw how bad it was/I was too nervous and with her/also maybe another animal had it worse off? That s really my only bad saying of it. Everything else was great. The staff was honestly so sweet and caring and I didn t feel pressured to do anything that they didn t weigh different options on. Time is of the essence, the staff and care were wonderful.
