Vandergriff Service Dept has had my Acura for THREE MONTHS indicating transmission would be replaced at no charge due to the low milage on the vehicle (22,000 miles.) Received MANY updates from service rep keeping me apprised of all the reviewers who "had signed off on it." New Service Manager arrives in June 2016 and calls me July 20th saying Vandergriff is not going to cover the cost of replacement/repair and to bring the loaner car back. This dealership is DECEPTIVE and UNTRUSTWORTHY. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

EXCEPTIONAL! I could not be happier with my purchase or my car buying experience. After test driving an RDX, I decided that it was the car for me. I worked with Dayshawn, who is a fantastic guy. Over the phone, I gave him the numbers I wanted, he matched them without hassle, and I went in after work to purchase the car. The entire process was streamlined, and dare I say FUN!!! I have not had such a positive experience at a dealership in decades. From the salesman, Dayshawn, to the finance guy, Preston, I felt no pressure, only accommodation. ****UPDATE *** I went into Vandergriff Acura today to see Max Coker because he called and said he found the perfect car for me. I'm a single mom and really needed a safe, reliable car that would fit my budget. Max takes customer service to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL !! I had my oil changed at the service at Vandergriff. The next day I discovered a pool of oil underneath the car. I put the car on ramps and went underneath it only to discover that the oil drain bolt was loose and dripping oil. Awful experience!!

Tom Phan is awesome! Everytime I m interested in a car he s always there to help me. Never disappointed in buying a car from him. Any questions I have he has the answer to it. I have purchased 5 or so cars from him. He puts his effort and time out to show you and acknowledge you about the car you are interested in. If anyone is in need of buying a car come see Tom Phan and you won t be disappointed walking out of the dealership.

I drove two hours to look at an Acura TSX I saw advertised online. The car was nice, and I decided to begin negotiations on the car. This is where the story went sour... the advertised price was one figure online, but when it came time to purchase the car, they had added twenty-five hundred dollars of "options" to the car. When I asked about these options, the salesman said "well, they're already on the car." Umm, hello, what about the advertised price? Isn't that false advertising? Finally the sales manager came out and he said he didn't want to remove the options because it was a "special" car that the mayor's son owned. Baffled, I pointed to the online price on my phone.

They came back, with all the options removed, but now my trade-in was suddenly worth less money.

If you don't like playing games, like me, especially after scheduling an appointment and you live two hours away, just skip Vandergriff Acura. You can eventually find yourself a used car with a more pleasant experience at a more honest/transparent dealership if you avoid Vandergriff during your search.

Was a pleasure to have my MDX serviced here after dealer in Ft Worth refused to honor Certified Pre-Owned extended warranty. Very knowledgeable and professional!

HORRIBLE! Customer Service while in the process of buying a car here was great (of course). Now the after math; I went in knowing and letting the salesman know upfront my score and my life circumstances... Well after searching for a finance company to pick up the deal the sales manager comes out to talk to me and informs me that I would need a "co-signer" Ok, I got one. well 3 hours later I am able to sit with the finance manager and of course get suckered and lied to about warranties.. which on my initial ppwrk stated sign and drive (warranty) was optional and I was told it could not be taken off but it said OPTIONAL.There went 2,999 towards my finance amount plus GAP etc. well I am a very detailed person so after I was being rushed to sign ppwrk because it was 8:33 at this point and I had been there since 2pm, I noticed where I was being told to sign said "CO-BUYER" I stated how did I walk in buying a vehicle then walk out as a co-signer? I was then told "Oh. it's the same thing" No, it's not nor was I made aware of this change! There was a typo with the address, okay.. we are human. But then the initial fee of the vehicle went up 1,000. I was like how does that happen? So, the finance manager walked out to speak to another finance manager then came back in and said he didn't know how that happen and he changed it.. Well, the "buyer" lives 3 hours away so they were going to fedex him the ppwrk THEY took 6 days to "overnight" the papers then 3 days into the "buyer" receiving them the wonderfully professional finance manger FERNANDO YOUNG called me (the co-signer that already did her part by signing as co-buyer) and asks when were the papers going to be mailed back I said "I don't know you'll have to contact the "buyer" he then said "I did and he has not called me back and I have not received the ppwrk" I said OK, what would you like me to do.. I can't control what's going on 3 hours away. *PAGE 1*

Do your research and read the fine print. They will add $3,000 to your purchase proposal titled something like dealer fees on a used vehicle. When you ask what the fees are, they ll tell you 2k for them to get the vehicle ready to sell, and they ll add hundreds for tint and wheel locks and random other fees. This happened to me and I pointed out from the Carfax report that I brought with me (you can get it for free from their website) that the wheel locks and tint were installed on the car when it was NEW! It was clearly listed on the carfax.
These guys are dishonest and greedy. Take your business elsewhere like I did.

Called the Internet director at 6 pm on 01/20/2020 that I am interested in a vehicle and want to test drive it as I stay 1 hr 20 mins away from this dealership and he said he will make sure the car is ready for the test drive. I reached there by 7.30 with my family and they made us wait for 30 mins and said the car is sold when I was on my way. They didn't even let me know when it is sold already that would have saved my commute. Total waste of time 3 hr 45 mins on a weekday. No apologies from the Internet Director guy, he didn't even had the basic ethics to meet me after this. I am currently a Acura lease owner and being treated like that was not comforting. Not doing business with them for sure in the future.

Hard selling, was offered $2000 for a trade in that Carmax offered $4500 for, Options that are not Options ($200 nitrogen upgrade, etc), extended warranty offers for $2000 over what I could get from the actual car manufacturer instead of no name third party. Did get good deal in the end, but was a very disappointing overall experience.

Do not waste your time! They added 8k to the price of a used truck I was looking at purchasing for a bunch of nonsense I didn t ask for nor should I be responsible for paying for. On top of that they added 3k to the price of the truck from what they had listed online and argued with me about making it match and you can forget about getting them to take off more than that. Then when I finally got everything down to what I could live with (I was willing to pay the listed price so I wasn't looking for any handouts) I went to see the finance guy. I told them I would purchase a warranty which ended up being about $1400. When he told me my final payment the warranty made my payment go up $40 a month. That s not good math. I ended up cancelling the whole deal and going to another dealership. Got a better truck and more for my trade in. These guys are crooks!

As I am soon to be engaged this summer, a new vehicle is something that I have thought about for some time. Jeffery Brown was by far my saving grace. I had a ton of questions and needed advice on what type of vehicle I should/would be able to get based on my particular situation. Although I am a first time buyer, my worries were put to rest because Mr. Brown was patient and extremely knowledgeable. He walked me through financing options, a litany of vehicles that would best suit the life of a newly engaged couple in the area, and talked me through potential options moving forward. He genuinely wanted me to walk away with the best package for me, and in car sales that is extremely rare. Ask for Mr. Brown, you will not regret it.

Searching online for a car. Submitted an inquiry to get a call from dealership. The salesman, tye called me and asked how he could help, I stated I needed some wiggle room on price and he agreed to lower the price over the phone. I drove 70 miles only to find that when I arrived the car they are showing me is incorrect. This car is not even the same color. Salesman stated that the mix up was not his fault and walked away. A manager walked out and apologized and stated that it wasn't there fault as well. The price of that car wasn't even the same as what we had been discussing.

It was a great experience. We were treated very good and felt comfortable with Fausto Rivera. He sold us an amazing car and worked hard to meet our needs. We found a car way better than I could imagine all thanks to Fausto and Vandergriff Acura. I would 100% recommend him to any other person I know that wants to buy a car because I know they will be treated with the same great service as I was treated with.

We went to this place to look at a used minivan. When we looked at it, it was dirty, and needed a detail. It also did NOT have rear DVD like was advertised online. That being said, it still was a nice van. When we sat down to talk numbers, the salesman presented me with $6,000 worth of extras that I didn't ask for. $1600 for a "make ready" detail, $600 for window tint (which already came on the car from the factory) and $200 for nitrogen in the tires, a bumper to bumper extended warranty and a bunch of other things. It took 30 minutes of haggling to take all that stuff off the list, then finally when they did, they only came off the advertised price by $300 even though it did NOT have the rear DVD which is a $1000 option. We probably would have bought the van but fluffing up the price by $6k lost all my trust. But it took us another 30 minutes to get out of there because of the high pressure salesman. I even stuck my hand in his face to shake it and he kept talking. If you like to waste time and grossly overpay for things, go here. As for me, I wouldn't by a stick of gum from Vandergriff Acura.

Blake was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking at and went above and beyond lining two with different interior colors up side by side so I could make my final decision! I felt like he and Chris were very honest, upfront, and respectful. 5 stars, definitely recommend!

I had a bad experience here 10 years ago about buying a car. I just moved back into town and thought I gave a chance to earn my business back. I called the service department to schedule an appointment. first call receptionist put me into the Service Dept. the phone rings 15 times and no one pick up the phone. Ok, they are busy with customers. I can understand that. I call back an hour later, the phone would just ring for about 3 mins. Ok, they are busy. Well, I did this 6 times today and got no one on the phone. What kind of business don't answer their phone? forget you knuckle heads. I'm going somewhere else with my business. Hey manager, wake the heck up and see what crappy service your employees are doing. Maybe the manager doesn't care either. Bye bye Vandergriff. I will never step foot in any of your dealerships.

Purchased a used vehicle there a couple of years ago, our sales person was nice, however the sales manager at the time (probably long gone by now) was a complete liar. During the negotiations, he told my wife that the dealership had spent over $3000 reconditioning the car. It was an $8000 car. The car was hail damaged and we knew it, it had not been repaired. When my wife questioned him about the total, he said that they had replaced the brake pads. $3000, whatever. Theses people are just like every other lying used car snake pit.

I told him, although I didn t want to make any purchases today, I wanted to see what you guys had. From June 2020 until the official purchase of my ILX in September 2020, I communicated with Mr. Le the specifics of what I wanted. Came here early in the morning to look at a vehicle that we found online. Our sales person Bryson Lau called us the night before and made sure to set a time that would work out best for us. Needless to say, had awesome experience and got us in the vehicle we wanted.

As a first time car buyer I was more than nervous to go into the dealership and walk out feeling like I got ripped off. The stories I hear about grueling paperwork and shady salesmen definitely made me cautious. But I am so glad that I went to Vandergriff Acura and that Max Coker was able to help me get a great car! I had zero credit and no down payment other than a car with nearly 200,000 miles on it. I was so scared that I either wouldn't get approved for a car or that my payments would be astronomical. Max got in touch with me before I even made a trip out to discuss options, he sent me links to cars that he thought might fit my needs and budget and didn't try to pursuade me to get a car I didn't love. In the end he was able to get me more than what I was expecting for my trade in and got me into a great reliable safe car that fit within my budget! He explained everything to me in a way I could understand, which was very helpful! He was so accommodating and patient with my indecisiveness and many questions. I could not have asked for a better experience, I am beyond grateful for his assistance and so impressed with the level of service we received. I will be referring all of my friends to Max!

After 18 years of Acura's and 5 cars later, I have had to part ways. The quality in my last TL did not measure up to the standards of Acura in times past. My car was rough riding and extremely loud road noise. I tried to work a deal for a new TL and told the sales team that I do not negotiate. Give me your best price. They came at me with the back and forth so I left and shut the door. I know that I am just one person but my loyalty to the brand and that dealershp should have meant more. I am now the new owner of an Infiniti and I love it.

Last week my wife and I relocated to Dallas from Orlando. After reading excellent reviews about the Acura RDX, she decided to move forward with leasing the vehicle. We called four local Acura dealers in the DFW area and were shocked by the pricing disparity between the four dealerships. After speaking with four salesmen, we narrowed down are choices to Vandergriff Acura of Arlington and Goodson Acura of Dallas. Both dealerships were within four dollars of one another. Since we live in Dallas, we decided to visit Goodson because of the convenience factor. Upon arriving at Goodson, Sales Manager Michael Allmon reneged on the initial price quoted to us over the phone. The new price, which was $33 more monthly, added $1188 more over the life of the lease. When I presented the monthly payment that was quoted by Steve Morrell of Vandergriff Acura, he said that it was impossible for him to honor that price. Allmon spoke poorly of Vandergriff and said that they routinely employ deceptive sales tactics. Since Allmon could not match the price, we drove to 40 minutes in rush hour traffic to Vandergriff Acura. Morrell honored the price that he quoted over the phone and even paid our first payment. The process was painless and I highly recommend this dealership. Morrell is a consummate professional and it was a pleasure working with him.

I had a great experience buying my first car at this dealership. Everyone was friendly and willing to negotiate the price. I was able to buy the car with the price I wanted in a timely manner.
