Vandergriff Acura Review

I have a 2017 RDX I bought new in July 2017. I recently had the unfortunate experience of discovering I had no spare tire of any kind in this $40K vehicle. Had I known this at the time of purchase, it would have been a deal breaker. I am happy with my car but very unhappy that a spare tire is not included or that that was not made known to me at time of purchase. But you have made me wiser...I now know to look for that before I purchase another vehicle. I called to talk to the sales manager but he/she didn't return my call. That was even more unfortunate.

Kenny Lee was amazing in how transparent of a salesperson he was. Made our lives easier by negotiating over the phone so that the deal was closed as soon as we showed up at the showroom. Thanks Kenny!!

I have been having the pleasure of dealing with Cameron with the service service of my vehicle since 2018. He has very thorough when I come to get my services and always make sure if I need to have the car looked at for other reasons. He makes me feels very welcome and make sure that I received grade A service. He is a great man and he loves what he does and I love that he does cause I don t have any bad experiences since I went with buying an Acura. So Acura thank you for all your staff and the kindness and support that they give from beginning to the end of each purchase and service.

I inquired about a 2017 MDX online, and Travis responded within minutes. I couldn't make it into the dealership that day, but I came next day. When I arrived to dealership Travis came out greet me and my family. Entire time spent at dealership was amazing and we had a best deal in town. Every questions we got answered. Best experience and amazing time with Travis Nguyen. I would highly recommend Vandergriff Acura and ask for Travis Nguyen when you need New or Used car purchase.

The staff at the Vandergriff Acura service department always does an exceptional job every time I visit. They go above and beyond to ensure their customers are satisfied with the service being done. The times I have visited I ve been able to work with Sarah and Lyric, and both ladies have been very helpful and professional. They make sure to address any questions and concerns I might have. I would also like to recognize Sebastian he was very helpful in explaining the process one must take to drop off and pick up a vehicle from the service department. Had a SERVICE SOON light come on, and stopped by after work. No appt, but my car received the necessary maintenance in a timely manner and the rates were reasonable.

I had a wonderful experience when I went to Vandergriff Acura the second time. I encourage anyone looking for a vehicle to go and see Frankie Aguiar. From the moment he introduced himself to the end of the sale he had me laughing. He was open and ready to answer any of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle I purchased. Frankie went above and beyond in meeting my requests. He is someone who truly cares about the individual and loves his job. It is hard to find someone like that at a dealership. He also followed up after to see how I enjoyed my car. Frankie I love my Cadillac and thank you for the cookies your an exceptional guy! Finally Michael Le was extremely helpful and patient with me as we worked through the financing. He really worked his magic to make sure I was taken care of and safe in my new vehicle. Calling for service advisor is next to impossible. Called four times and all they can do is put you on hold. Guy by the name Christopher Gonzalez put me on hold for 30 mins and never check back! A simple task to schedule an appointment for battery replacement and they cant get me in. Had to call McDavid Acura to schedule.

Mark was excellent! Offered me a drink and help meet all of my family's needs!

Absolutely the best car buying experience I've ever had!!! My salesman GARY VOGEL was GREAT!!! No pressure and he actually listened to what I wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew a lot of technical information. He was very patient and took his time, answered all my questions and worked hard to find just what I wanted. Others at the dealership were very helpful too, especially two of the managers, Scott and Wes. Be sure to ask for GARY for a terrific car buying experience!

Stole my sunglasses out the my car and they don't care to do anything about it

This was my third but my husband's first car buying experience. We had the pleasure to buy from Jeff Carter, the Internet Sales Manager. We submitted an online inquiry and Jeff got back to us the same day. Luckily the Acura MDX was actually there, unlike other places where the vehicle was posted online but not on the lot or already sold. Jeff worked with the finance department to get our MDX at a monthly rate that was perfect for our family. That was the part that really made me write this review because that was really important to us. I will recommend any of my family, friends, co-workers, anyone to buy from Jeff!

This was my first dealership I walked in just wanting to look around not wanting to get a car at that moment but i ended up getting one anyways I had a great experience Julianne and Michael was my sales. Such a sweetheart Julianne offer to buy me a snack n something to drink. She took good care of me straight to the point and was there with me through the whole process. I would definitely recommend to see Julianne if you are thinking about getting a car !!

We had a pleasant buying experience at Vandergriff Acura. Michael "Oz" Osborn was our sales consultant. He was easy to work with and did a great job walking us through the buying process. After our purchase he explained all of the cars features and even helped us connect our phone to the car's Bluetooth. I definitely recommend "Oz".

Was looking online to purchase a car when vandergriff acura came along with great inventory, send an inquiry about the car got a response from my salesman jandy and scheduled a test drive. But after i liked the car and wanted to get everything a guy named Brian smith decided to come and start talking pushing me to buy stating that this deal is only deal and what got me triggered when he made fun of some culture and traditions of my country when he walked to finance but forgot to close the door. I will make sure everyone knows about him even if this need to get to BBB. The 2 stars are just for my salesman that i hope would've just finished the deal himself without getting that guy in the deal.

I am loving my new 2020 RDX. Lenny did a great job in helping find what I wanted, worked with my needs, and went above and beyond to take care of me and meet my expectations. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. Best ACURA dealer experience I have had.

Misleading advertising prices !! Uneducated used car sales personal, plain rude.... just not representing what Acura stands for.
Listed price was $15.300 .... price after talking to them in person was almos $20,000 !!!

Call for out the door prices before getting there, and don t talk to this guy Thao Nguyen who barely speaks English and gets mad quickly when you question his math ( $15k to $20k??! )

I came in and worked with Eric. He was super helpful! it was my first time buying a car and i thought it would be hard but he made it so easy. i will definitely be back!!

We live in plano and we drove down to Arlington and kept wondering if it was worth the drive.. but it was totally worth. Stan was the dealer we talked to and he was great. The entire team is great. We traded our old car and brought a new car with great features and color. The entire car buying process was made so easy and I think none of the other dealers can match with the deal that Vandergriff gave us.

I highly recommend everyone to check with this place before you buy your next car.

I recently had a chance to get my vehicle serviced here. I had to visit twice because a part was not immediately available and during the visit I was able to address all the concerns I had with my car. It wouldn've been possible without the help of my service advisor, Ms. Lindsay Forston. She carefully listened to what I explained and worked hard to address all of them. I also had pleasant time there waiting my car to be serviced.

J.B did an awesome job taking care of the whole process. From start to finish he was there to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. Shaun, the finance guy helped me so much as well. Everyone up at Vandergriff Acura treated me like a celebrity. I felt very welcomed and open, they were willing to work with me to get me into a vehicle I liked and made sure to hear my concerns and fixed any problem I had or may have had. They are the real superheroes, especially J.B..

Perry Coy did an excellent job!! I did an inquiry in regards to a 2014 RLX online and another associate contacted me. We scheduled a visit to come in and the original associate was already gone for the day. With no hesitation Perry stepped up willingly and offered his service. He was amazing throughout the entire process. Even though we completed the entire process of the paperwork and finance, and did not pull through with delivery of the vehicle due to the customer service and attitude I felt through a sales manager, I really feel Perry Coy did all he could to ensure I was happy. The rest was out of his hands. I would recommend Perry to anyone in the market for a vehicle. He really showed interest and paid attention to the details that I required and appreciate it the most. I would give a zero but couldn t. This is the biggest joke of a dealership. Sent us a letter to buy or get us out of our current vehicle. None of this was true all they did was get us to the dealership and waste our time and try to sell us another vehicle. Complete scam be careful.

Edna Lopez was our sales lady and we LOVED her!! She answered all of our questions and also explained to us the difference with the new things the ILX has that our TSX didn't. I & my wife considered this location as they had good reviews and their sales manager was genuine during emails and setting us up with a sales consultant, JR for a meeting and a test drive. We drive about an hour to Arlington and had a worst experience. The sales consultant, JR was not cordial and borderline abrasive. We walked out of the dealership within 10min. Waste of our time and trip. I spoke with the general manager, Mr. Chris Synder and provided feedback on our experience. I hope JR gets the required training on customer engagement and advocacy. For now, they have lost my business.

Wow!! The staff at Vandergriff Acura is fantastic. I was very fortunate to have Brian Smith as my salesman. He was extremely courteous, professional, knowledgeable and super easy to work with. He made the process of buying my RDX a breeze. After my initial phone call with Brian, I had no doubt I would drive the four hours to do business with him. I have never seen a dealership that seemed to run so seamlessly. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and accommodating, Brian and Wes Kammer could not have been any more accommodating. Five stars for this dealership and their excellent staff! If you need an Acura, these are definitely the people that you want to deal with.

Purchased a car and they did $300+ damage to the grill mounting the dealer plates. Their fix is to cover it up with a $30 licence plate holder. Advertised price wasn't actual price. They add on almost $2000 in ''dealer fees' once you get there. Go to another dealer.

Ask for Kenny Le. He was communicative, helpful, and diligent in selling me a new car. Buying a new car was a huge deal and Kenny helped to allay any fears or concerns I had. Also, Tony, the finance manager gave me a lot of useful information and hooked me up.

Cameron Hosch took time to answer all our questions, he put the plates on the car was very attentive. Stress free nice area to wait for the service work. The RDX is a big change for me personally. I have had Suburbans since 1987. Had my RDX for a month and have enjoyed the vehicle. Cameron will be my go to person in the future.

Just wanted to share my last experience, while I was there I was advised by several employees that there were several employees who where tested positive for Covid and I didn't see anyone going around cleaning high contact surfaces, yes they do have hand sanitizer around the dealership, bit there's no proactive actions being seen. If they're not protecting the customers, I'm sure they're not protecting the employees either. I've seen several employees walking around with masks or masks below their chin, it's not a chin protector. I feel bad for the employees since they're in constant contact with customers and their coworkers.. hopefully they employees are being tested and protected.

I recently bought a 2014 Acura MDX on April 29, 2016. Once i walked off with the vehicle from the lot. i noticed various defects on the MDX like Scratches/dents/chipped windshield/seat torn/missing one car remote.
Although the sales manager did work with me in fixing it. But i really feel like this is not how you should be doing business. i was not disclosed the condition of the car from the sales man or the manager.
I have lot of friends/family that will no longer be buying any car from VANDERGRIFF. I requested to see if they can swap out the MDX, but the mng flat out said NO. I feel like suing this dealership to be doing this sort of business in this age. I will also make sure they are being reported to BBB/News in the local area.; GOOD LUCH Mr. Vandergrifff

It's a typical dealership, money first, people last. If you're trying to get a car for a reasonable price instead of the asking price, you're better off looking elsewhere. I highly recommend Subaru, they treated my family incredibly well.

I had such a great experience with the service department; they helped fix my problem with my car without getting it towed or paying for anything while on the phone. The person who helped me is named James, and he was so helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable. He was able to help me in 5min. I recommend anyone to this dealership. They really care!!
