My first experience at McCord's did not go well. I scheduled an appointment with a saleswoman. Not only was she late for our appointment, but she did not have the vehicles ready for me to test drive (this information was requested prior to my arrival), and she could not answer questions about the vehicles and seemed disinterested in finding them. She was focused on making a deal rather than helping me make a good life decision. I gave McCords a second opportunity a few days later and they came through. Flynn (Sales Manager) and Matthew Townsend provided excellent service and answered all questions I had. I didn't end up purchasing a new vehicle that day, but I left that day not feeling like I was taken advantage of by a sleezy salesperson, but rather I felt more informed about the type of vehicle I was looking for. About a week later Matthew reached out with a deal of a lifetime on a used Highlander. Needless to say I am very excited about this new vehicle, and am appreciative for Matthew proactively helping me find a vehicle that met my needs. Highly recommend working with Flynn and Matthew!
Customer parking was difficult to find and the only space that I found was for low emission vehicles. Parked anyway and walked towards the showroom. Passed two employees who did not acknowledge us so that we could ask about parking. We were concerned about where we parked and went back to the car and left. Will try another area Toyota dealer who we heard good things about.
We wanted to see a hyundai santa fe here that was looking great to us, but unfortunately, it had transmission problems. So Skylar sat down with us and helped us discover a much newer car, with very low miles, and it runs great. My wife now proudly drives a vehicle with heated seats. Skylar said things that you will never ever EVER hear a car salesman say; for example " sorry to interrupt..", and "in my opinion". He didnt freak out when we went to Oregon to see a similar car, and our experience there sucked so badly that we happily went back here. I think i found my favorite car dealer. It doesnt hurt that the waiting room has a coffee machine that can make ANY COFFEE DRINK ever known. Seriously! Check them out. And dont buy a car in Oregon.
McCord's Vancouver Toyota has solved our problem in a very friendly and professional manner. Kaytlyn in the service department was responsive, well-informed, and courteous. She quickly did research when she didn't know an answer, and was incredibly helpful in providing estimates and recommending locksmiths. Dropping off the car was actually pleasant because of Vitaly, Wyatt, and Kathy. They were efficient and engagingly kind. They made the process very quick and very easy. Sean, who set up my Lyft ride home, was full of smiles and reassuring confidence. I know our beloved Adventure Mobile will be safe and well cared for because everyone at McCords treats you like family!

This was not done! I checked the air filter and cabin filter they had not been changed they were very dirty. They lied about completing the service done to my truck. This is very concerning. How many people have they lied too.
I always find Vancouver Toyota to be professional, and they always do their best to meet the needs that I have for my car. I would highly recommend this dealership. I always feel "taken care of" at this dealership.
Attempted to contact their service department due to a Toyota recall on my front passanger air bag. They told me due to volume and part ordering they it would be 4-6 weeks and they would call me back to schedule the service. When I didn't receive a call, I attempted to call them again. The representative gave me the same speech. When I attempted to reference my previous call and ask questions about the process, he was silent, said 'um' a lot and then would repeat the same answer., un-knowledgable, unhelpful and do not keep their promises to their customers.

Took my wifes 4 runner in for service and they took great care of it and kept it easy on the wallet. Also took care of a couple minor recall issues.
The people I worked with at Toyota were great. They were not only courteous and professional but I felt they were working to help me fit into my new Toyota.

Bought a White Mitsubishi Lancer, nice car the issue was after the sale was done and we signed papers, the Finance person called to say we owed lost title fee on the car we sold them, but prior we let them know the title wasnt coming till 28th dec they were ok with it and put in the agreement that we will not need to pay. week goes by, they call saying we owe them when we do not. Not fun experience from this. I will say the salesman was great and car is good but Finance is bad.
I bought my 2016 Tacoma used from a Ford dealer, and thought I needed to take it to a Toyota dealer to keep my extended warranty. I checked out Vancouver Toyota because of the reviews and tried them out, even though I live in Oregon and have to pay tax there. I later realized I could have gone to any mechanic, but decided to continue there because they really took care of me this last time. Kathy was my latest rep and she stayed with me and made sure I was taken care of the whole time. As far as dealer service goes, they are the best I've ever seen. Keep up the good work guys!

I am going to try going back because this is the closest Toyota dealership, but I wasn't impressed by how I was treated when I was there. I get that it's annoying to take a lady with kids on a test drive, but I will not buy a car without testing it with car seats.

Skyler was so helpful, friendly and made the experience so painless and enjoyable. He ran around the car lot in the 85 degree heat and brought us all four cars we were interested in test driving. I didn t get much time with Lee the manager but he was able to give us the best loan options and both of these guys were so patient with us while we were making our decision. Becky with the service department was the first face we saw and was smiling and friendly and she pointed us to Skylar. We walked off of the lot with a used Highlander and an incredible deal. Great service from everyone, way better than the Vancouver Nissan.

I went to Vancouver Toyota out of curiosity because I have never personally owned a Toyota. I worked with Carson Tise, he was so knowledgeable and really made me feel comfortable at the dealership. If you're looking to buy a new car, Carson is the man to buy from!
I purchased my 2013 prius there. I just took it in for an oil change and a couple of new tires (Yokohama's I believe) and was told that they wouldn't Hydro plane (?) quite as much as the michelens. Wrong! I hope I can exchange them.......

I went into the Toyota dealership wanting something but not knowing what to expect since I haven t bought a vehicle in so long and was greeted by Skyler who was very nice and helpful. He answered all the questions I had with an honest answer and a great attitude. I was very anxious about everything and wasn t sure what I wanted to do but he went to bat for me and I came out with a kick A Toyota Tacoma that was everything I was looking for and more . I also had the pleasure of working with Greg who was by far the best ever! He explained everything to a T and made sure I understood all the paperwork I was signing. He was so pleasant, honest , and straight forward in the best way! My experience was great and I would definitely buy from them again!
We bought our new Tundra through our credit union concierge service but as soon as we saw Vancouver Toyota we changed all our servicing thru them. We later bought our sons used car from them as well and feel they are all about the care if the customer. Thank you McCords.
I don't normally post bad experiences but this one takes the cake. Spoke to an Aylssa asking if I was interested in a 2017 Dodge Journey and if I'd be able to come in and take a look at it. (FYI I was told to ask for Alyssa when I arrived at the dealership) I showed up within 15-20 mins after our conversation and was told Alyssa was busy and someone else was "getting the keys". Waited for about 10 mins watching them buzzing around like bees only to be told that the vehicle had already been sold.

ME: Hey Alyssa I came down like I said, I was told you were busy and the vehicle we spoke about has been sold. I read this was voted the best dealership in Clark County. Anyway, have a nice day

Very disappointed in that after I paid my bill it took over 45 minutes to get my car. I was not alone. Several other customers were also waiting the same amount of time. I had 4 people approach me and ask to see my paperwork because they noticed I d been there for a while. I even went inside to ask about this timing after about 20 minutes and was told they had other cars that needed to be moved out of the way first. Very poor customer service experience.

I have purchased 5 Toyota s in the past 5 years. I was sold on my previous Toyota dealership. Because of Covid I didn t want to travel to that dealer. Took a chance on Vancouver Toyota and it paid off. Everyone was great and Bryan in finance is a really great guy. I will for now on purchase from Vancouver Toyota.
Got a two year old car and the transmission died. They had a warranty on it for me but I had to fight tooth and claw to get it fixed
My husband and I connected with nearly every Toyota dealership in the PNW, searching for the best deal on a 2020 XSE Camry. We not only got a great deal, but had a fantastic experience with several people on the McCord s team. Upfront and honest, considerate and accommodating, I highly recommend working with them. It took FOREVER to get my car after the service was done. Finally the checkout lady got my key so I could leave.
The guys over at Vancouver Toyota Parts Department are awesome! I've gotten parts for an old Toyota truck no problem finding most parts! And of course they have parts for every newer Toyota I work on. The counter staff is very helpful, the lobby and restrooms are always clean. The whole facility is top-notch with a fantastic coffee machine, nice comfortable seating, restrooms, drinking fountain, even a fireplace. I've never once been bombarded by the sales staff either!
They have never greased the u joints in my Tacoma, I asked them to do it, and after 45 minutes of them trying to find a grease gun and figure it out I just took the truck and did it myself in 5 minutes.
On another occasion I sent in a request for service and was told I would receive a call back about an appointment and never did.
Dont waste your time go across the river to Ron Tonkin, they have always treated me right and resolved any issues brought to them.
Helpful crew; fast, responsive service. I've been to a bunch of dealer service departments up and down the West Coast, and Vancouver Toyota is the best.

It been another week and still nothing. Its great you make a comment so that I know it has been read. I would much rather have actions take place by your company and my monies given to me. Again the customer service and follow through show how much you only care about the sale but nothing about retaining your customers after the fact. Which is why I didn't by another vehicle from you location.
I traded in my Tundra and had an extended warranty and service plan that I am am due to have refunded. After calling several times and leaving messages, I went into the dealership and finally get someone (Tony) to help me and was told the check is in the mail. This should be where the story ends, but weeks later I still have not received my refund. So I call and leave several messages and receive no reply. So I go down to the dealership after be hung up on by someone that claimed to be management. They then tried to brush me off, and put me over to the side out of the way. After about 20 mins, the same person who I had seen walking around came to talk to me. I think they feel there BS will work better with me because we are both POC. He stated he needed to talk to someone about it. He disappeared. I think he went on lunch from the amount of time it took him to bring the paperwork from weeks ago saying the check mailed out to my bank. Am I sure it was not deposited into my account. I stated it had not and why would you mail my monies for a paid off vehicle to my bank... He stated some nonsense. I was told to contact my bank and get back to him and they would do what needed to be done to correct this matter. I get home call my bank they said as I had suspected they never received it. They said the dealership could easily track it or stop payment on it and reissue you one if they even sent it out in the first place. That three weeks Is a long time for a check to be in the mail. I tried to call Tony, and of course I got his voice mail. I left the message and nothing. Three more weeks have gone by, more messages left still no monies or service from the dealership.
They are fast to take your money, but that is the only thing they are fast with. They are even slow with their excuses.

We had a bad experience which cost us over 11k and they did nothing to help us. Toyota is fantastic. McCords Toyota is unhelpful in a crisis.
EDIT : After discussing with my girlfriend we actually lost 5k, not 11k. However after talking with Toyotas escalation specialist about a week ago who then said she would talk to one Flynn, we have heard nothing in over a week.
this is the first time the car wasn't ready when promised - by more than 20 minutes. the manager was great though, taking the time to explain some navigation tips.
Haven't bought just yet, but been here twice. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Low pressure and just helpful.

These guys are crooks and will waste your time! Don't trust this RV dealer! They sent someone out to inspect a trailer for sale. Then said they would purchase it for a set price. I then hauled it from the west side of Portland to the dealer. They Had all the paperwork ready to sign with me in the office. Then the manager came in at the last second and rejected the purchase! After I had signed all the paperwork and the title over!! Steer clear of this to dealers scam and don't wast your time with their used purchase department. The guy that inspects the purchase has no real buying power. They just want you to waste your time and bring the rv to the dealer on your time and dollar! **Sellers beware**
Let me just say how HORRIBLE of an experience I had today with Vancouver Toyota Service Department! Let me just preface by saying that over a week ago I went onto their portal and requested 10K mile service and 4 wheel alignment on my 2020 Toyota Tundra Platinum with a Toyota modified 4 lift and oversized tires, with 9800 miles on it...bought it as a demo. I noticed right after buying it that it pulled pretty hard to the right and immediately asked for the alignment but because other issues came up that I felt were more important so I waited until it needed service.
So today happens...my appointment was at 10:15am (got there at 9:45). I was asked if I wanted a ride home and I asked how long the 10k Service/alignment was going to take...I wasn t comfortable taking a Lyft again as the last one wasn t such a good experience. The Service Advisor went and asked, came back and said at the very latest 2pm. I told him I was going to wait for it (which I also put in my initial request for appointment). So waited...and waited...1:15pm rolls around and I went to ask another advisor the status of my vehicle(my advisor went to lunch). She left to go check. A few minutes later she came back and said, and I quote the technician couldn t really give me an update...that it would be a little longer and she would put a note on Audri s desk to come speak to you . I told her I would be waiting in the waiting area. At 1:30pm I see Audri come back from lunch and I thought...well I will give her a few minutes. Watched her walk past me multiple times expecting her to stop and talk to me....nope! 1:31pm I receive a notification on my phone my truck was left unlocked (this told me they finally moved it). No notifications before that except for when I initially dropped the truck off. Now I am upset! I know they had not touched it the entire time, hence why the other advisor couldn t give me an update!
1:45pm, I go talk to Audri! She states she doesn t know why but the write up advisor put it to go back at 2pm. So my suspicions were correct! I told her I was contacting the Service Manager Kerrie. I call Kerrie, explain to her the ENTIRE situation and that I had been waiting since 9:45am! She stated Let me go check ! So out she comes at 2:10pm, said and I quote please give them 10 minutes and it will be done...I said INCLUDING the 4 wheel alignment? Yep, 10 minutes ! I am not even kidding, she walked past me twice as if I wasn t standing there...over an HOUR past when she stated it would be done!
6....I repeat 6 hours I sat at that dealership waiting! All I got...I am sorry! UNREAL!!!!! Nice management you provide Kerrie! I see you REALLY stayed on top of things!
As long as they are open, they will have my business. Every experience with them has been great. From purchase to service, they have treated me like I'm the most important customer they have.

I wish they had a place on site to buy real food instead of only a vending machine with mostly packaged snack food. Otherwise, warm, family place to work. And, gruGrub delivery comes here often. Awesome people to work with.

I've had nothing but great experiences with this dealership. You can schedule your time online, making things quick and easy. Staff is very friendly and always helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody. There are a lot of places to avoid in Vancouver, but this is not one of them. One thing I dislike is the upselling, it changes from agent to agent, this thing makes me wonder, and is the reason they lose one star.
We appreciated that the staff was not high pressure.

Wow! This was the most non-intimidating car sales event I have ever experienced. Our salesperson, the general manager, and the finance manager were absolutely transparent and professional. I did not feel pressured at any time. They all also stayed 2 hours late to complete the transaction. Just wonderful!

I had a rocky start with the appointment process, but once that was sorted out everything was great. Fixed a simple fix on my car and didn't charge me my first born, which was nice. And their diagnostic fee was cheaper than the shop I went to which told me the simple fix wasn't the problem.
Do not buy their extended warranty... if you cancel expect to wait many weeks for a refund. Spent over 20k cash for used vehicles there and then sold one ... warranty company closed the 1st of March, still waiting on a check and a response from several attempted contacts to their people that handle refunds. Very unprofessional if you ask me!
Edited to raise my rating as my other interactions with them (and their other services) were above average. I just wish I would have had my calls returned by someone in authority on this refund issue.

GREG PERRY my be hands down the worst "financial advisor" on the planet. I imagine him sitting around his dark table with candles burning. Black eye patch on his left eye, slowing counting his gold shekels that he swindled from unknowing customers earlier that day. He has a temper, as do most pirates.
He kicked me out of his office because i unknowingly got a loan from someone other than Toyota after he had already finalized the paper work for a Toyota loan. I did nothing wrong, isn't the customer is always right? Guess not in this Pirate World they call a "dealership". Completely unprofessional and immature. There is TONS more to my story that goes unsaid, but i cant seem to tell you all of it, for this dealer has stolen all my energy for today. Stay away.
Had the worst experience today with their Toyota service. Dropped my Camry off at 940 am for oil change and tire change. I didnt get my car back until almost 3pm. The guy that checked my vehicle in told me it would be done by 2pm. If I didn t call and check on it they probably would never called me that it was done! I m almost late for work!
About the same as every other Toyota dealership I have visited. Salesmen loitering by the entrance waiting for their next "up" to get out of the car, parts department never calls when the part I order came in, etc. Very similar to a previous dealer that I worked at years ago. No worse than others, but not great either.
A rare experience, buying a new or used vehicle (In this case a used RV), and feeling completely valued and respected as a client and future repeat customer. Even after the sale, but before delivery, they went above and beyond with the final service inspection and added surprise upgrades that were outside my best expectations. Made my wife and I feel much better than a one-time sale operation would have left us. Thanks Roger (sales) and Jessie (service) and everyone else we interacted with!
