Best car buying experience I have had. We worked with Cory and he was great. I felt no pressure to buy and when my original car didn't work out due to size he was able to find us a great car in our price range to fit our needs better. The floor manager was extremely helpful as well. Can't believe I waited so long to come in, but glad I went to McCord Vancouver Toyota.

I bought a new Camry from this dealership over 10 years ago. It was such a bad experience I vowed to never go back, and I haven't since. I am now in the market for a new Toyota and I hesitantly have talked with these guys. I just get the feeling from them still that they think there aren't other dealerships in the area and the service shows. Haven't had a good experience with this dealership yet and don't think I'll be using them this time either. My advice to others, there are other dealerships in the area that seem much more interested in earning your business.

We got a VERY good deal on a highlander here. The selling price was already listed below anything we could find from any other private party or dealer and on top of that, they were willing to negotiate.

On top of that, all the required maintenance was done before we picked it up, AND we got a 1 year warranty with free maintenance included. We couldn't have even thought up a better deal (and we spent months looking for a good deal on a Highlander!).

They're business model is all about keeping long-term customers, and obviously it is merely a sales tactics, but it works. My husband has been anti-dealer until now. He only wanted to buy from a private party, but we couldn't pass up this deal. Then, after dealing with them, we would now both gladly buy another vehicle from them in the future and have recommended them to friends.

We've had our car for about 2 months now and it has been amazing! It's super clean, and everyone thinks it's a new car (they're surprised when we tell them it's actually used). No issues with it. I never thought I'd call a dealership a great place, but this one--in our opinion--is a great place.

Walked the entire lot as I was looking for a new Tundra. Laziness, age discrimination, or worse? You be the judge. I was never approached and spent an ample amount of time in plain view so I could be noticed. Thanks for nothing. You lost a sale, here is the truck that I got elsewhere in OR.

I would like to thank Skyler Peragine at Vancouver Toyota for all the help after the sale. We had a problem with the front wheels vibrating at highway speeds. Skyler got us the answers and Vancouver Toyota fixed the problem with no hassle. Thanks for all the help and kind words. It really helped relieved a lot anxiety.

So I am on my 4th Toyota that i have bought from Vancouver Toyota and after dealing with their service department i wont ever buy there again. While sitting at a light my dash went crazy flashing check brake system, check vehicle stability system and check vehicle stability system. so I took it to the dealer and they told me to bring it in and they looked at it and decided it was a recall item and repaired it, all good right? Wrong, so about 2 weeks later it happen again so i call them back and they tell me to bring it back in then they call me and tell me that its a recall item for the same thing that they replaced before so i told the person to look in the computer i already had that recall done and they need to figure out whats wrong. (keep in mind while this happens the tires will lock up if you hit the brakes to hard and traction control and vehicle stability are disabled) So they call me and tell me to come pick up my car there is nothing they do and i need to bring it to them in a failed state. So i pick up the car and wait for it to happen again and it does and luckily during business hours, so i drop it off in a failed state and they said they would take care of it. To my surprise i receive a call from the service writer telling me to come pick up my car they accidentally turned off the car and reset the brake system and i need to drive it until it breaks again. Now i am a little upset and explained to the service writer that when this happens the wheels will lock up and none of the other functions work and that her answer was unacceptable and would not take the car. She reluctantly gave me a rental car and kept the car. i told them to feel free to drive it as much as necessary till it breaks again. The next day i receive a call telling me to come pick up my car, it wont break and i need to pick it up. So i came down and picked up the car and write a terrible review. I receive a call from the service manager asking if i would please come in to talk about my car. So i made the appointment and showed up 10 minutes early letting her know that i was there for an appointment and 25 minutes later i get called back to her office where she proceeds to ask me what job I was applying for? So at this time i about lost my mind and proceeded to tell her that she called the meeting and left me in the lobby for 25 minutes and didn't even know why i was here , so she went and got the master tech and i showed her the video of my dash lighting up like a Christmas tree and told me to leave the car with them and they would figure it out and gave me a rental car and 3 days later they gave me the car back finally repaired. So i say this to you beware of who you buy a car from and how they handle a loyal customer who gave up several of their days off and endured a lot of incompetence and just overall bad customer service without even an apology.

I had a great experience at Vancouver Toyota with salesman Skyler as he patiently navigated me through making my decision what kind of car to buy. He was extremely helpful and courteous showing me a number of cars in my price range without being pushy. I would highly recommend doing your next car buying experience with Skyler!

Phenomenal experience today. After disappointing experiences viewing trucks for my husband at other "dealerships", we came here on a whim. David Schcherbino (who was such a joy to converse with) made the time to assist us last-minute. My husband found his dream truck on the first test-drive. Test drive & paperwork all happened within hours, & we bought a wonderful, well-priced Tacoma. Greg did a fantastic job guiding us through the paperwork segment, & we will pick up the keys in a couple days after maintenance & detailing! THANK YOU for making car-shopping SUCH a pleasant time, i will be back when it's MY turn to purchase a new vehicle in 2021!

I feel like the staff tries to pick your car out for you... but it wasn't too bad given my budget...still... only had 3 cars to show me out of hundreds on the Lot...pretty sure they had more than 3 corollas and camrys combined. They seem like honest people but always remember to think for yourself.

I visited numerous brand name dealerships in the Portland metro area before visiting McCord. That gave me an even greater appreciation for Deanna and the rest of the staff. I am sure I know where I will be going when we need to get our next vehicle.

Was referred to McCord's by a friend who had purchased an used car from them. I had submitted an online inquiry about my trade in as I knew I wanted a certain Toyota. I have been shopping around for a couple months now just waiting for thr right time. The communication from top to bottom was amazing. Their internet inquiry staff got me connected and was there to assist in any questions I had. Which led me to come into the dealership. I generally do not like going to dealerships, but as I got their I was greeted by two different people. I was then linked up with their salesmen, Nick Audrey. Keep in mind, when I showed up it was around 7:00pm, they close at 8:00pm. I knew what I wanted, but I wanted to make sure he knew what he was talking about, I had him show me the different models and explain the differences. He was able to answer all my questions with no issues. I found the one I wanted but I explained to him that I had to work out some details on my end. I asked for pricing and it was all provided. By this time it is around 8:45pm, 45 minutes past closing time. I thanked him and walked out. I went home and did my research, McCords had better pricing than any of the other official Toyota dealerships in the surrounding area. So naturally, I called back the next day. The whole process was extremely smooth, the trade in evaluation was as quick as can be. The finance manager Greg killed it. I went in not wanting some of the extra services but after he gave a brief explanation I pegged him with some questions and he had an answer for everything and showed all the differences between Toyota and the "others". He graphed everything. At the end of the day I walked out of his office feeling secure about my purchase. Then worked with Larissa who was able to schedule my "add-ons" which she was able to help and get me a rental car until my car was ready! Huge thank you to Kayla, Nick, Rich, Greg, and Larissa for making this car buying experience easy and hassle free.

I love their service center and don't have any problem with them. But I had terrible experience with sales department. Really high pressure... They changed numbers, APR and bank without letting us know. Salesman David Scherbina lied several times and even said he spent his time without any commissions then went without any words.

Be careful with Jaime Gutierrez if you don't like a good service! He does very professional job. Be sure, this guy is your friend at Toyota VANCOUVER. Thanks Jaime for your assistance.

Awesome staff and service! From the first phone call for a vehicle that had barely been on the lot to taking delivery of it, they were excellent! Highly recommend working with Matt Townsend or Mike Emmons if you re in the market for a new or used vehicle. Tony in finance was great to work with too and helped me secure a loan to meet my specifications. Highly recommend coming here if you re in Vancouver rather than making the trip all the way to another Toyota dealer!

I've always been changing the oil myself on my highlander, but being busy lately i sent my wife in to get it done at toyota center. After the oil change the car developed a major oil leak, when i checked the dipstic it was way overfilled. BEWARE and stay away especially if your car is not under warranty

Had a rough start at first when looking for a vehicle at the dealership when we first went in on Mother s Day. After that we talked with Ally Fleming online and she gave us great customer service and introduced us to Sayed Hassanein. Sayed is the best sales person we have ever met. Down to earth, very understanding of your situation. Tells you like it is with no back and forth bantering and when you let him know where you stand, he respects that and will work with you. If every dealership had people like Ally or Sayed than it would make it more difficult to figure out where to go buy a car but with the two of these people at Vancouver Toyota we are very impressed and they should be commended on their excellent customer service.

I am beyond amazed how comfortable and excited Toyota made me feel during the purchase process. It seriously was the most relaxed negotiating I ve had with a dealership. And they have a comfy fireplace to sit while you wait or kids play room for my 2 year old. Gabby Sanchez was super sweet and wanted to make sure we were taken care of the whole time! I will never buy at another dealership again. They make you feel like family and they even helped by purchasing my trade in for over market value to help swallow a bit of the negative equity. I will be a McCords Toyota customer for life.

Bought a new Highlander .
Planned to have it serviced with them. My wife had a tire warning so she stopped in to have them check. They told her that there was a nail in sidewall and even though there is still 30 to 40 percent tread all would need replaced $1400. I had the spare put on and had her bring it home.
Nail was in the center of the first tread ( lied to her ) for sale. I had all the tires replace at a national tire business for $850. Wont be going back for new pickup or any service work. A relative we had referred had a similar experience on a part that didn't need replaced the bad part they showed them didn't even come from their car, one of the few honest employee's verified that for them. STAY AWAY

I know it s a pain, but go across the river to Portland. Don t buy from this dealership nor deal with their service department. We just bought a brand new 4 runner from this outfit to replace my vehicle that was totaled. I only drive this car to and from work.....that s all. It s got less than 2000 miles on it and when we got it, the brakes squeak. Ok no big deal, I make an appointment to have them look at it and fix it because really a new $40,000.00 + vehicle shouldn t have squeaking brakes. I m told when I drop it off to have it serviced, that there is no recall on the brakes, so it s something I have done so the bill is going to be on me? You have got to be kidding me!!! Haven t even looked at the car and already I m being told it s something I ve done. How convenient. Well I m not paying for your new showroom Mccords. I ll take my vehicle to Munsons who DOES guarantee their work and stands behind their product.

I will tell everyone that I know where I work to avoid buying anything for you. Your customer service is non existent!! Go screw someone else out of their hard earned money, because you won t get a dime from me ever again. Don t worry Mc Cords, I won t tell everyone how your service department tried to do work on our other 4 runner that already had been again, just to get more money out of us. Like I told my husband a leopard doesn t change it s spot!!

I just bought a car yesterday and worked with Stephanie Meadows, I had an absolutely amazing experience! I walked out so happy and absolutely love the car I m getting. She went out of her way to make sure I found the perfect car and received a good deal, I never felt pressured or stressed out, she made it all around an easy experience. I would highly recommend Vancouver Toyota because of her!

I have been going here for years but received terrible service today. I had a scheduled service for 7:00 am. I arrived at 6:30. They opened promptly at 7 and took my truck. I was told it would take an hour.
At an hour and twenty minutes I asked the woman who handled my paperwork why my truck wasn't done yet. She refereed me to a young man at a workstation in the garage who told me he had just arrived, did not know why my truck was delayed, and that someone was working on it now. He acted as if I was a bother.
When my truck was finally done (2 hours and 15 minutes after it was taken) I asked the women who came and got me what the hold up was. She mumbled something about my service being misidentified and was taken to the wrong service bay (I think). She then told me to go to the valet to pick up my key and walked off.
I went to the valet and stood there for several minutes with no one offering to help me. I turned around and saw 5 or 6 employees standing at computer work stations but no one offered to help. I asked if someone would help me and was told they would be with me in a moment. After a couple more minutes I decided I had had enough (already very late for work) and I walked behind the deck to get my key from the cabinet. At that a young man walked over and said I wasn't allowed to be there and I told him I didn't care. I wanted my key so I could leave.
He took my paperwork and tried to locate my key but it wasn't there. He left to find out what was going on and an older man walked up with my key and said my truck was ready. I told him what had happened and I was not happy. He asked if I had a scheduled appointment. I said I did and that it was for 7:00 am. (it was now 9:15) he seemed surprised and agreed that was ridiculous. At that point I was approached by another young man who apologized for the service and offered something for free (I think it was a free detail) I was so later for work I declined and just wanted out of there. I went out and then had to search for my truck as no one told me where it was.
Funny note. As I typed this I just got a call from someone at Vancouver Toyota. She asked how my service was and I told her this whole story. She apologized and asked if I wanted to talk to customer service. I said sure and she transferred me. All it did was ring. No one answered. Totally unprofessional service. I may be taking my business elsewhere.

Deanna was an amazing, helpful,salesperson!
She worked with us for several hours to find the cars we needed and the prices that fit our budget! We are so excited to be driving off the car lot with 2 new to us cars!

My experience started with Kayla - who is sales assistant. She was the most understanding, compassionate sales person I have ever worked with. I cannot say enough great things about her.

My main sales rep was Marcie. She was very busy as it was the last day of the month, but she knew I wanted to work with a female sales rep, so she made time for me in her crazy day. I never once felt rushed or that I was inconveniencing her. She really helped me get into a better situation (I was upside down on my trade) and worked the numbers with me tirelessly.

And finally, Joe was my finance guy (usually the most drawn out, painful process). He laughed and joked with me, took time to explain things I needed a bit more clarification on, and in no time at all, seemed as if we were done.

I was told the owners of this Toyota only own this one dealership, and are very active (their dogs were actually there greeting customers) in the business. This dealership feels way more like a family than a business. It also makes the car buying process (that everyone hates) enjoyable. I never in my life thought I would say that.

Afterwards I have heard from both Kayla and Marcie checking in to see if I need anything else and if I enjoy the car. I truly felt like I made friends at Toyota.

Came here for a recall repair. They identified that the car had a leak in the timing cover while repairing. Mentioned it would be 14 hours of work billed at $128/hr. However, they charged Toyota $54/hr. What a bunch of crooks! Also they made me wait 20 minutes to bring my car around from service. Clueless customer service team. To somewhere else save time and money. This will be my last visit here for any reason.

I bought my '17 Rav4 here and the staff is amazing. If you are there for your normal maintenance, you can wait inside and have some amazing coffee or espresso. You also have the choice of taking the shuttle home. And if the shuttle is really busy, they'll even get you an uber! They are very honest and if you really don't have to spend the money on a repair, they will tell you so. Their sales team is also amazing! Emily was my contact and she's wonderful. Not pushy at all. Overall, I've always have a great experience. You also get stamps for free car washes at their facility as well. I've had my car over a year and I still have a ton of free car washes.

Bobby Gargari made car buying an easy and fun experience. We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon and he answered all our questions and took us on a test drive in a new Toyota 4-Runner. We liked it, but wanted to talk it over. We said goodbye and that we d be. In touch. No pressure from Bobby, just an OK and a smile.

We went back the next day and asked for Bobby at the receptionist desk. They paged him and he came in about 5 minutes. We picked out the car we wanted, another test drive, and we were inside at the computer completing the deal. He was very helpful getting the best price for our trade-in which we hadn t intended to make part of the deal.

Long story short, we drove away in a new 2020 Toyota 4-Runner that afternoon.

Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful with absolutely no pressure is how I d describe Bobby. See him for a great experience.

BTW, the entire staff at McCords makes car buying easy. We had been in Portland the day before at a large dealership, they put the pressure sale on us, and completely turned us off. McCords isn t that way.

Wow- we went in ready to buy cash out of pocket on Sunday. With possible trade but we hadn't decided.
We went to the used lot because we saw a 2017 RAV4 online we wanted that was Certified Used. I can't recall the older gentlemen's name however, he sits closest to the door ... he at first told me that price online wouldn't be honored because it's not accurate that the car was $2000 more.
After pulling up the vehicle we were chatting about our other car and unsure of if we really wanted to trade it in and after I asked several questions on that process he said " I'm sorry I can't help you I won't help you ..." got angry and walked away.
He left my family of four in the running vehicle with a key. I had to park the vehicle and walk the key up and return it and we left completely appalled.
We took our business to a competing dealer down the Road - we decided to buy New and they won our $30,000 cash sale with no trade we decided to sell it on our own it wasn't worth the trade.
I plan to discourage anyone I know to ever visit your lot for purchase of a vehicle.
You certainly don't uphold Toyota's Values.

I Bought a used car of McCords lot in April, and it ran great when i drove it off the lot. A week later it started running terrible and i began to replace parts reccommended by check engine light, finally i took it into their service dept because it wasn't helping and they said it needed about $2000 in work. I told them i just bought it and couldnt afford that. They said take it someplace else. I talked to the sales manager who told me they would help me out. They essentially offered me half what i owed on the car and tried rolling me into a car twice as expensive. So now I'm paying for a car i cannot drive. Thank you vancouver toyota for giving me the full used car experience:(

Classic bait and switch dealership. Unfortunately I ve bought 3 vehicles over the last 5 years there and they have switched from quality sales staff to bait and switch techniques. Too lazy to go take pictures of what they actually have on the lot. So you inquire about a nice looking stock photo of a vehicle with a certain look and style that fits your wants. Set an appointment online to arrive and they have the most basic model waiting for you. Then walk you around the lot after you tell them that s not the one you selected online. Zero available looking anything similar to what s marketed online. Unwilling to even attempt and make it right by offering a decent price on another model to make a repeat customer happy. I wish I could give them zero stars. Bait and switch tactics and no care about it. Complete waste of time. Go to Beaverton Toyota.

Everyone is nice there but their system for checking in customers is EXTREMELY dysfunctional. I waited almost 2.5 hours for a scheduled oil change, to the point where I had to go up to the desk and ask if it was done. With my appointments: I had to call because their online appointment page kept freezing, and I made two appointments one for the day of at 2:15pm and one for the next morning at 7:15am, but when I arrived at 2:15pm they couldn't find the afternoon appointment (only the morning). The next day when I arrived at 7:15am, they couldn't find my morning appointment (only my afternoon appointment from yesterday -_-). When I tried calling, I got transferred and put on hold FOUR TIMES! The reason they get 3 stars is because they got my car done decently fast in the morning and they sent a paid Uber to come pick me up which was really cool. Their people are nice but it is the system they are under that is dysfunctional.

I had a bad experience here. a tech broke a part on my car, not a big deal, they called me and told me about it. but the problem I had was that the tech told me it would cost me $130 for them to fix it. not ok. this back and forth happened for 2 days, but a couple of managers there, Lynn and Kari were very helpful in getting a bad experience turned into a better one. not perfect, but much better. it was a rough couple of days. Certain employees can make a good business bad. but thankfully there are better ones to make it right.

Customer service was way off! Long wait when I arrived with appointment.
My cat took twice as long as they estimated. When I returned for pick up another very long wait. There was 5 employees present 2 were helping a woman buy tires. The other 3 on the phones at least 10 minutes. More people arrive. There is no organization for the que so you gotta speak up of its your time. Very unprofessional all of them really. No one talks to you they just stay in phones.
I am loyal customer don't know why.

Buying the car was quick, easy, and amazing but when I called to make sure the car wash was open they said yes that it was, and then I came in and it wasn't. Please please please make sure you are telling the truth about these things. It's highly disappointing coming in and expecting the car wash to be open when the guy just left and decided to close for the day. I called for a reason and now I have wasted a trip here. Advertising the car wash hours on your website and making sure that the people working stay the whole time would definitely be a good idea. I only have certain times and days available to come in, weekends are best, so please make sure to advertise well and keep employees informed. This is bad business.

My sister wanted to test drive some of the cars with the intention of buying a car in a month or so. Michael Emmons was our car salesmen. He was very helpful, confident, and had a great sense of humor. Not once did he push us into purchasing today. We told him from the beginning that we will not be making a purchase today and still he was very helpful. Answered all of our questions.
Michael gave us a lot of helpful insight. Told us more than we ever knew about purchasing a car. He made things so easy that my sister walked out buying a car today. I would definitely recommend Michael Emmons to anyone that will be going to Toyota dealership.

I have had a very bad experience with this dealership.

Was looking for used cars online and found a car that I was very interested in. I messaged on their site to confirm availability. Rebecca responded to me. They didn't have that specific one, but I explained what my needs were in a car. She said she'd keep her eye open for what I was looking for.

Last week, she texted me with a link to a vehicle that fit my needs. We made an appointment for Sunday for me to come in. On that day, before driving 30 minutes to get to the dealer, I checked the link and it wasn't available anymore. I quickly texted Rebecca about it and my concerns about the car's availability. She confirmed it was no longer available but assured me that there were many other models that fit what I needed.

I drove to the dealer, Rebecca wasn't available so I met with Trey who took me on a test drive. After the drive, we started discussing the vehicle and if it would work for me. After speaking with his manager about a price break, he came back to tell me that they couldn't sell the car due to a hybrid battery issue. We looked on the website, found one other vehicle that fit my price range but Trey quickly informed me it had been sold the day before. At this point there were no other vehicles that fit my needs so I left having wasted an hour of travel time and another hour of time at the dealer.

2 days later, on their website, the car that had the 'hybrid battery issue', is still on the site and even has new pictures. The other vehicle that he told me was sold the day prior to my visit is also still on the website.

I feel lied to and manipulated. The "many other models" that I was told were available turned out to be a car that had already sold and another that they refused to sell to me for a now unknown reason.

Not to mention that both of these cars are still on their website so be aware before going in to check out a car.

Techs can't drive a manual and then customer service blames me for it practically. Why I stay far away from stealerships and work on my own stuff. How it happened is I have a fairly sensitive clutch (Stage 1 Aftermarket) and the guy kept screeching and stalling the car. I left and wasn't too worried. I saw a guy come out there and drive it into the stall just fine after two others failed.

I told customer service about ti and a lady called and responded back a few days later. I got an email back saying that techs aren't used to driving modded vehicles. Then they called and said the same thing. Okay then give me a place that I can take the car and get the recalled airbag replaced. Wait that's only available at the dealership. Give me another option and I won't return simple as that.
