I never post reviews, but today's experience got me fired up. So, I've been on the lookout for a Tacoma for awhile and this dealership had a profile built for me with the specific model and color that I was looking for. One of their sales rep called me this morning to notify me that they have one that will arrive in August and if I wanted it, I would need come in today and put a deposit down to reserve it.
Mind you, I'm in Tacoma, WA for work. So, I head straight down here right after work. When I arrive, one of their rep asked if I had an appointment which I told them I did. The rep had me fill some contact card and kept going back and forth for 10 minutes asking questions. As I'm waiting, I noticed 3 of their "managers" just staring at me the whole time behind a plexiglass. Literally the whole time, making it super uncomfortable. No seat was offered, while their other "valued customers" were seated comfortably. Even with the whole COVID situation, there were literally two open separated desk.
Their "ever so polite" rep comes back to tell me "oh, there must've been some miscommunication because we thought you asked for a 4runner. That Tacoma that's coming in is already reserved for someone else."
No, there's no miscommunication. She literally called me to say they have that specific "Tacoma" coming in. And all you can say is "Sorry, have a nice day."
And your petty callback to offer a gas card? FOH with that BS. Absolutely no respect.
Working out of state to rush back to some BS like that and be treated that way by the dealership that 4 of my family members bought their cars from...what a joke.
I honestly could careless about the truck. It's the way these people treated me the entire time when I got there along with their "superiors" staring at me the whole damn time like I wasn't welcomed.

My son told me that the tire pressure was too low. I noticed too that I was due for my regular servicing but I had no appointment. I decided to go to the Service Department as a walk-in. Even though I was told the work would take at least two hours, the car was ready in one and a half hours. The cost was minimal.

Helpful for finding and getting exactly what you need, although the prices are expensive. But that's to be expected oem.
In the last couple of years the service has fallen off a little. They are still nice but the little touches are gone. I recall them putting your car through the wash and doing a quick vacuum. That is gone. I did also notice while I was there while all of the employees and most of the customers were masked up there was one person that was not and also not following social distancing. She was leaning on the door well looking at the sign that required a mask to get service which no one asked her to wear.
I got off the phone with Lyn and we covered the few things that I have noticed. She explained the changes that had happened, and wanted me to know what the local policy was for the location. I was very nice to have her call and follow up with me about this most place do not or if the call and miss you the will not try twice. Thanks again for the great customer service.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. No intentions to sell you a car, just waste your time.
My experience was horrible. The next day after an oil change, I went to bid a job. The technicians that changed my oil did not clean up the bad oil and I parked my 2015 Tundra on my prospective customers driveway. The residual oil ran out on the driveway, costing me 2 hours cleaning it up an costing me the $20k job.
I couldn t say anything good about my experience- technicians tried to blame it on a leaking O ring.
Fact is it could never have leaked that much oil from an O ring!!!!!
I give 0 stars and I lost a $20k job!!!!!!

The service department does not tell you what "recommended" services they are adding vs. what's actually manufacturer recommended. I ended up paying $325 for extra services that I didn't realise were unnecessary until after. And they didn't even bother with the spare tire's air pressure because I had an old blanket in the trunk.
The parts department, on the other hand, has been good to work with. I will gladly return to do business in the future with the parts department.
Not bad.. long time for a oil change. Was able to get in fast. It took about hour and a half.
Paid 3k ish for extra coverage. They cover it but gave me the run around for 2 days for a loaner while they fixed what they didn't when I purchased it.
Very rude man who "helped" us. Not sure if he was the owner, but he does not know how to treat people. We came here looking for a truck that was an automatic, he chuckled and said "you don't know how to drive manual"? because the majority of his trucks were manual and I guess he was offended by the fact there was nothing we could buy from him because eh quickly walked off to the next customers without a goodbye or anything. Very rude.

I bought an 04 Toyota Highlander. We are 100% happy with our purchase and our experience.
We rented a van for a week to decide if we like it.
Went in for 5,000 mile tire rotation, ended up getting a flat on the way there to the dealership service center. After the shop found the cause of the flat it was due to a screw which then they said it wasn't fixable because it was in the "side wall" and against policy to fix it and we would have to buy a whole new tire. We asked to look at the tire and it was NOT in the side wall..as we figured. They said no tire shop would fix it but we called a few places and showed pictures and said it was totally fixable. We are long standing Toyota customers and ALWAYS have an issue with their service shops. It's truly sad that I recommend to ALWAYS get a second opinion on any issues you have with your vehicle when you think something might be fishy..they will try to deceive you.
By far,hands down,THE BEST customer service ive EVER recieved in any aspect!!! These ppl are friendly, warm, engaging and made what would otherwise be a mundane, almost dreadful chore,an absolute pleasure!! Will definitely continue my scheduled maintenances here!!

After going to more than 5 dealerships looking for the right truck. We came to look at a truck that ended up not meeting our needs. Skyler was great, not pushy, and understood that they just didn t have what we needed. He had said he be happy to keep his eyes open for what we were looking for. As we were leaving the lot, he chased us down because he thought they might have our perfect vehicle somewhere on their lot. He showed it to us on his phone and yes! We want to see it !!! He went and found it and it was the best truck we had seen. Negotiations were pleasantly simple. We drove it home and we love it!

Vancouver Toyota is the ONLY place to take your vehicle for service. The service team is very knowledgeable, courteous, and detailed when explaining service requirements. The service advisors are very prompt to keep you updated on your vehicle s progress, and they always guarantee the work performed.

From when I first arrived, the process of getting my car checked in was super simple. The advisors explained everything clearly and gave me an estimated time for when everything would be finished.
I bought a brand new truck from these guys a few months ago. I had a tire get punctured on New Years Eve. Put on the spare and drove to the service department on the 2nd. Initially I was charged with a minimal discount but Lynn in customer service helped me out a lot more and made it right. Thank you Lynn, you have restored my faith in doing right by the customer.

I would not recommend this place for a car unless you are almost certain you want to buy from them. When I was still shopping around, before even visiting any dealerships they ran my credit. Hard unquiries affect your credit score. No disaster for me but it could be for someone else. Do not give them your information. They even called me repeatedly about setting up a test drive. It felt like I was being badgered. So yeah, only go to this place and give them your personal info if you are almost sure you want to buy a car feom them. And I dodn't because they do not have a good selection of used vehicles and the ones they do have are laughably over priced.
My husband and I had a very positive experience here! Our salesman was nice and casual, answered all our questions and worked to get us a good deal. I felt comfortable and didnt feel any kind of pressure. Our salesman did a great job of helping us find what we were looking for! Highly reccomend this dealership!

Very unfriendly environment. Greeted with a frown almost like they were bothered to take my business. Tried to charge me more than they stated when I set the appointment. Offered a courtesy ride . Waited 25 minutes and then had to ask where the ride was. They said, "Oops, looks like it will be another 15-20 minutes.". Had to grab an Uber to actually leave the place . Service sucks. Avoid if you can!
Skyler was extremely patient and helpful. I came in knowing what I wanted but still asked to see other vehicles on the lot. We were able to negotiate a price that fit my budget without feeling pressured.
Worse than hated it. Have your car serviced and you will see. My Toyota Tacoma 1998 had an oil drip. They corrected the oil drip but dented my vehicle on the upper cab, broke the front windshield, completely trashed the front end of my vehicle which is now extremely out of alignment and vehicle jumps into the left lane and in doing so destroyed a brand-new toyo i.e. radial pull. And then denied the damages.
Window was replaced, the dent remains, the front end is still out of alignment and the tire has not been replaced. This happened over one year ago and I am still trying to get my car fixed.
If you are reading this you're smart by checking the reviews. My experience echoes other customers at Vancouver Toyota. In the five star rating for this experience at Vancouver Toyota I would rate this -2 stars. Customer beware.

I went in to look at a used Toyota Highlander, which I ultimately decided not to buy. The salesperson (Nick) and Manager (Mike) were both super helpful. There was no pressure at all throughout the process. I think they could tell I was on the fence about the Highlander, and they were willing to work with me to make the sale, but I think they genuinely wanted to make sure that I was getting in the right car for me first. Even though I didn't buy the Highlander, thanks to this positive experience, I will absolutely look to Vancouver Toyota again as I continue my car search.
Michael Furey, the Costco sales rep, was outstanding in his assistance to replace our totaled 2005 Camry (which he also helped us purchase in Dec. 2004). We had done some research on-line as to the make and model we wanted and Mike made it happen. We were in the midst of family holiday celebration, but Mike worked around our busy schedule and got the exact model, color and most of the desired accessory packages we had decided on. WE LOVE our New 2019 Avalon Touring and thoroughly appreciate Mike's assistance in making it happen. Only downside.. we now have a car payment!
Wait in comfort, get good coffee and avoid the typical high pressure auto-purchasing experience. The facilities are beautiful and the salespeople listen to what YOU want. They are a volume dealership so they have great deals and the salespeople don't work on a percentage commission (according to the person I was working with) so all customers are treated equally. Great experience!
Normally I would say Mccords Toyota is great. They usually are friendly and quick, but the other day I took my Tundra in for service in for the 25k regular maintenance. When I was being checked in they noticed a nail in my tire. I was immediately told it was repairable (The nail was on the top of the tire and the tire was not flat nor was my sensor saying low pressure.) This frustrated me because they hadn't even taking the tire off yet, but i started pricing new tires which were going to cost me about $1000. I decided to compare prices with Les Schwab and have them take a look and they repaired it... I nearly spent money I didn't have to repair a tire that could have been fixed.
Nate Gant was an excellent salesperson at Vancouver Toyota, ensuring that each step in our purchase journey was clear and seamless. He clarified so much about the vehicle and the sales process. Above and beyond in excellent service - he was generous with his time and patience addressing our many questions. We highly recommend Nate and Vancouver Toyota! Thank you!!
