We just bought a new (to us) car from Vancouver Toyota, a used 2016 Toyota Sequoia. It was the second car we've bought from this dealer. We got what we believe is a very fair price on a very high quality used car.
I thought it went very, very well. It was easily the most stress-free car purchase I've ever made, and I've bought quite a few cars in my life.
We never felt pressured to buy or make a decision at any time during the process. The deal-closing went very well. We didn't experience any of the pressures that are often exerted when buying from a dealer to get add-on protection, extended warranties, etc.
Dom Sadegh was our salesperson. I'd really like to thank and congratulate Dom for making this the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had. Thanks, Dom!

Horrible first experience at this place. I called for an appointment the day prior and after spending 10 minutes on the phone describing the problem, I was booked the following day for a 10:40 appointment. When I arrived, they had no record of me being scheduled! Mind you, I scheduled nearly half my day to be here. When they brought me in to see what they could do for me, a worker said he d see if they could squeeze me in and told me to have a seat. He then asked me that since he was going to be gone for a bit, if I could make sure to flag the woman down who might be able to help me. First they have no record of my appointment, then they ask ME to flag down the woman for help? Are you kidding me? Finally I d had it and politely said I d like my keys so I could leave. The guy who originally helped me said in front of me and other customers: just give him his keys and get him out of here ! HORRIBLE treatment for a new customer, especially given THEY screwed up. Took my keys and left for Hannah, where I ve always had good service. Never will I return to McCords!

I gotta give it up to McChords Vancouver Toyota. I went in not really looking to buy but prepared to buy if a good deal came my way. Dom was great! He really took care of me. He asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and we went from there. We pushed around some numbers and the deal was done. I was out in about 2hrs with a brand new 2019 4 Runner. I had such a great experience that my sister went in a week later and bought the Trd 4 Runner. Just like me she was in and out with her salesman Jason!

I have had TWO incidents where my 2020 Rav4 Hybrid...
I have had TWO incidents where my 2020 Rav4 Hybrid would not start... I went out in the morning and it was dead in the water. The first time I had to have it towed in, the second it charged and I took it in the next day. Neither time were they able to find the problem, but rather they said that I was not driving it enough. I had driven the car several times during the week both times, 50 miles at least each time. I've been driving the car 1000 miles/month. They told me I would need to put the car on a "trickle charger" if I was going to let it sit for a day. RIDICULOUS for a brand new car.
I found that there are 100 similar writeups on Cargurus of people having exactly this same problem. Toyota is claiming no responsiblity or accountability, and their staff doesn't even apologize for the inconvenience.
The service is terrible. Toyota needs to figure this out and FIX IT, as well as compensate those of us who have been inconvenienced by it.

Today we took our day off and invested two hours round trip driving time for drop off and pick up of the RAV. Three recall fixes needed to be performed. we were told the three fixes would take quite awhile to perform. we received a call two hours later that the third fix could not be performed as the parts were in back order, thus we would have to use our day off and invest two more hours for a second visit. The fourth recall fix is not ready yet so we are looking at three visits to Toyota of Vancouver and six hours of drive time. When I complained the discussions went round to what do you want us to do about it? "We are sorry but..." I mentioned why not communicate with parts to make sure this wasted time does not occur? No ownership of the problem thus I left disgruntled and unheard feeling I had lost a win-lose discussion.

My husband and I went to this dealership for the first time yesterday to do some tests driving. Our first impression was very nice selection on the lot we had made a VIP appointment with Rebecca. She came out and briefly met us. We were left alone and we were in the middle of our conversation when we were interrupted to be taken to our sales representative who was on the phone. We both couldn t understand why we were taking away from our conversation to meet somebody who was on the phone. We are interested in a used car so he takes us out to the used car lot, small selection. We let him know what we re interested in three vehicles. We were able to test drive two vehicles. On the way back from our second test drive the cells representative had us drive to the office so we could park the vehicle and that was the end of our test drive we wanted to test drive more vehicles but we re both confused by this so we just left. I have never done a review before but this is just the limit. I have been having issues with the tires and the tire light going in for September. Everytime I was told there is nothing wrong with the tires and I went 5 times. I gave up and bought tires from elsewhere as it was cheaper. I took it to Vancouver Toyota to have it installed. I come back home and another tire got flat. I just don't understand how is this possible. The tire i was having issues with was rotated as that's what I was told by the service center. I really don't think it was rotated and the good tire was replaced. I have been a customer since 2008 but you have lost me as a customer.

Every step in buying our new Camry XLE was made unbelievably simply by the staff of Vancouver Toyota. Communicating with Mirela in sales via emails was outstanding. She promptly answered all my questions and provided specific vehicle details and pricing information allowing me to do some serious comparative shopping. Just a few days after our first emails we picked up the XLE. It was ready to go, spotless, with a full tank of gas. Vancouver is 200 miles from my home but dealing with Vancouver Toyota easily made it well worth the drive.

I had very positive experience purchasing my dream car with the McCord's team. It was an out of state purchase, and the team handled everything swiftly and with ease. So glad I got my car from McCord's. My only complaint is that some of the staff were wearing their masks below their noses, and customers not wearing masks were allowed inside and to roam freely. I was pretty surprised by that, considering cases are severely spiking right now. Other than that, would highly recommend this dealership. Got me a great price, worked through all the fine details, and were patient while we waited to hear back from Longo Toyota in Los Angeles on the rate they were going to give. Turns out, Vancouver had the better price. Thank you!

After multiple attempts in trying to resolve my issue regarding my 2015 4Runner TRD Pro, the service manager has left me with no other choice than to seek representation for my issue. This will have been my seventh time back regarding the same issue with this vehicle.
12/27/2018 UPDATE: I received a call from an exterior manager after posting this review 3 months ago, whom presented a resolution. She then stated I would receive a call back within the week, Which never happened. The issue with my vehicle still exists and I've resorted to calling corporate for a resolution. I can't say this dealership has followed through with anything they've stated.

After signing papers and driving off the lot I get a call 24 hours later telling my to put down 3500 or give my car back, so after letting me leave and shaking my hand and congratulating me about my new car and having me fall n love with it I had to give it back. I ended up going to gesham Toyota and getting the a same car for a better deal and with no problems. and after signing papers at Gresham Toyota I found out that Vancouver Toyota didn't even have my sign any DMV papers or register the new car. After getthing that experience from them lets just say if my car breaks down a street away from them I wouldn't even walk to them to get it fixed.

Took my Lexus GS in for an oil change (based on the window sticker which suggested my oil be changed every 5k miles) and that is where the problems started.
- Be careful what they are charging you for. I had a coupon to use for an OIL change, but they only performed an inspection (more on what they missed later). So if I wasn't paying attention, I would have assumed they changed my oil as stated by their next service needed sticker.
- I came in for a scheduled oil change - Anywhere else, that takes 30 min max, especially with a scheduled appointment. Mine took almost 1.5 hours...and they didn't change my oil mind you.
- I received the inspection sheet and sent me on my way after charging me ~$35 after the coupon. While waiting for my keys to be retrieved, I noticed no oil change on my receipt. Also they checked all the boxes showing everything looked good (including my battery). Only thing I noticed was the rear tires showed 2/32nd of tread left...which is considered dangerous. No one suggested I get my tires changed while I was there. Just get my money and get me out the door.
- After asking to talk to a service tech, I asked why I was charged for an inspection when I told I was getting my Oil Changed? Strange...I asked what is included in this inspection, which included rotating my tires. But I have staggered tires so they better not have. I confirmed, "did you actually rotate my tires?" Tech said, "yes of course!" I asked, "you sure?". He said, "Yes!". Yikes...Finally I explained to him why that shouldn't be done. This does not inspire a lot of confidence...
Summary:
They refunded me for the "Inspection" which missed a bad battery which I ended up replacing on my own since my car wouldn't start and didn't suggest I get my rear tires replaced, even after marking them as dangerous on their sheet.
I will no longer take my vehicles to this place for any service and will make the venture to Oregon. Not interested in "getting my next oil change covered to earn back my business". You have lost my trust and won't get it back. Too many better businesses out there that won't waste my time or money.

Worst car buying experience with these guys. I am glad at the end I didn t buy car from these guys , actually after dealing with these guys I gave up idea of buying Toyota. So for me I wanted to buy corolla IM they send me this quote which I thought is good deal and I decided to buy the car with these guys and I declined good deal with another dealer. Even I called these guys before coming to dealership and confirmed deal still good they said yes . When I walked in they wasted two hours and then when we start working on paper work ,sales guys said Manager is not approving the price . So If I want to buy this car I have to pay more initial quote was mistake . I almost fall in there trap and initially agreed to pay more .But fortunately I didn t buy and walk out of dealership. I think that s there strategy first send good quote and when u walk-in they will change price and try to convince u buy in new price . Worst part they still called me next day will another quote .

We have all our vehicle maintenance work done at Vancouver Toyota. We go through Michael every time. He is awesome and it s nice that we have built a relationship and some history with our service rep. The work we had done yesterday ended up being 1/2 of the price originally estimated, that was fantastic! The only frustrating issue about our experience was scheduling, or the scheduler to be more precise. She has so urgency very slow. Between the time we spent on hold and how slowly she looked up all our info we spent over 20 minutes on the phone. To me that is unreasonable. We just wanted an oil change and to have our turn signal light fixed during the oil change apt. When we had our appointment we learned she had failed to make note to Michael about the turn signal issue. All the waiting on hold to see if parts were in stock was for nothing. Still happy with Vancouver Toyota and Michael but I think we will schedule our next apt online to save some time.

It's not fun to leave your vehicle some where for 6+ hours just for an oil change. The least you could do is car wash & vacuum in exchange for the inconvenience.
Edit: I was there yesterday actually. I had to leave it several hours for our last appointment too. My main issue is that many places do car wash and vacuum for you, and it doesn't seem like Toyota "cares" when they make you go through a wonky old car wash that didn't even clean my car. I took pics of how dirty it still was afterwards.

I took my car in for an oil change today. The service advisor, (Brandon) originally told me everything was fine and that the oil change was almost done, but then came back ten minutes later and told me the entire oil pan would have to be replaced because the plug was stripped. It was never leaking oil, so how do I know they didn't strip it themselves? They blamed it on the previous dealership that changed my oil and quoted me around $200 to replace it. When I reluctantly decided to go ahead with it, he mentioned that he quoted me for the part but not the labor and that it would be around $500 without tax (which is shady to not include the cost of labor from the beginning). When I came in to pick up my car, the bill was over $700. The total tax was $55, so why was it almost $200 over that. There is no reason an oil pan replacement should cost that much. Needless to say, I feel completely taken advantage of and would strongly discourage anyone from doing business here. Huge ripoff.
EDIT: The manager reached out to me and offered to refund the cost of labor since it was not communicated to me in the initial quote.

Making an appointment for an oil change is easy enough. However, the experience is not a problem if you don't mind wasting 2 hours for something that can be done at jiffy lube for 15 minutes. I made an appointment to have my car's oil change etc done per the toyota care that came with the car(which also Im not happy with). "Express" team member stated it would take about an hour and escorted me to the lounge. I found a seat around the corner and waited. 2 hours later I determined I need to find out what's going on and went back to question the ETA. The "express" team member said she called my name an hour ago. I said I was right around the corner and she replied well I called your name and I'm not going to look for you. If I didn't have to use them per my Car fleet contract I wouldn't. A waste of time and rude. To let a customer wait an extra hour while I was in the lobby but couldn't hear her is unacceptable.
