UPDATE: The owner states that contact has been made with me. However, this is not the case ... So a special response from Van Wanrooij to this review.

Problems are not solved by Van Wanrooij Warenhuys. Have now had our kitchen with island extractor hood and plasma filter for almost 2 years. Plasma filter has not worked from day 1 and is immediately reported that it stinks during cooking. After 3 reports and almost 2 years, no solution has yet been found, in fact: Van Wanrooij does not even respond!
In the meantime, the defective extractor hood has caused considerable damage (grease stains on the ceiling). A notice of default was sent, but we only get the message that everything is working properly. They have reached this conclusion without having to look on the spot.
In the end, we had an external kitchen specialist look at the situation that concluded that the plasma filter is not functioning and that this is covered by the Plasmamade warranty. In the meantime the case has been submitted to Van Wanrooij through legal aid, but people still feel responsible for repairing the damage and solving the problems!

Advice to everyone: never buy a kitchen / bathroom here. The showroom is beautiful, the sellers are more than friendly ... But once you have signed, this company shows its true view.

THE SERVICE AFTER DELIVERY IS VALUELESS !!!! After delivery, 2 items are not delivered and 1 item is damaged. After weeks further and a lot of phone calls ....... 2 times delivered the wrong item (was the same item too) ........ 2 of the 3 have finally been delivered !! No. 3 has been on the road since yesterday ...... ???? It is always said that we will contact you as soon as we know more, etc. But calling back is very difficult for Wanrooij. Our new home was completed in November 2017. Unfortunately, the door of the bathroom cabinet was damaged and we have been waiting for a new door since November 2017. Called several times, but no one can really help us further. Really outrageous that we have been waiting for a new door for months and it is now April 2018 !!! We are still awaiting decent feedback about our door of the bathroom cabinet. And we hope that Van Wanrooij will solve this with us! If you have an invoice open, they will call you right away, but the after-sales service is really bad. Really really bad service! Our contact person at the construction company calls continuously and receives false promises.

IF I KNOWED THIS BEFORE I HAD NEVER PURCHASED ANYTHING! REGRET THAT WE CHOSE THEM !!!!

Never helped so badly ... a big discussion on the phone with the seller.
Even the siffon and tap ... and now keep insisting that what is on paper is binding.
Because they make no mistakes ... make a bathroom offer and just forget to calculate a niche after 8 months we can just arrange 1000 euros otherwise they make nothing .... so rude.
Now the worst is that they continue to maintain that we have a standard fountain from the construction ... but the toilet is only 1 meter deep fountain 40 cm and large toilet. You guessed it though you don't fit on the toilet.
How stupid that is also not with size 44 unfortunately.
You really run into numb people.

Van Wanrooij was quick to convert my appointment. We would treat the bathroom in the morning and the kitchen at half past one. I had finished the bathroom well before noon and was able to view the kitchen options almost immediately. Good floor plans and 3D images with the extras you want. Got photos. Free lunch and coffee. So far I can be positive about this company.

Heavily disappointed by the customer service of this company: second complaint within a year and a half due to faulty installation and used products in a completely new bathroom that was quite the price! We are now a month and a half further and no one has had the decency to contact us at all! With the first complaint it also went like this! When I see the recent complaints from other customers, it looks like this company is about to go bankrupt! Placing the kitchen on May 24 went perfectly. Hence 4 stars in the first instanti. Completely according to what the seller had sold. Only the board on a low wall turned out to have the wrong dimensions and this will be placed later.

It was a nice and pleasant day to pick out our new kitchen and bathroom at van Wanrooij.
We are neatly caught at the reception and then well supervised by the sales consultants for both the sanitary and the kitchen.
The kitchen technician who was hired by van Wanrooij is also a professional and has delivered neat work.

We have now been waiting for more than 3 years for our counter top to be repaired (there was already a crack in it upon delivery) and kitchen floor (largely coming loose within a year). A construction pathologist called in at our expense, who unmistakably determined the damage. From malpractice to invited more than 10 times to put matters in order with the help of a lawyer. Communication is not possible, not even through the lawyer. You are threatened and intimidated, the most idiotic slander is invented.

The sales department is perfectly arranged, but if you have problems. Then you really have problems. Callback notes where nothing is done with. Appointments that are not scheduled. People who have to sort something out for you and don't call back because they are going on holiday. Only had misery with it. Will never recommend this company, 1 star is actually too much. I am glad that I am getting rid of it now.
But one thing they could very well send invoices. That department works well.

Two stars because I see the company as one. Purchased a kitchen and a bathroom a while ago. Everything went well with the kitchen and we are satisfied with that. The bathroom / sanitary is a different story. The faucet at the toilet was mounted over the sink so the water came over the sink, the taps at the bathroom sink were not mounted in parallel (two sinks) the tap of the bath was too long so our children bump quickly . The washbasin taps have been reassembled. We were allowed to have the tap of the bath reinstalled for an amount of 150 euros. You would say that a plumbing advisor recommends that a very long tap is not useful for a bath. The shower tiles were only partially tiled. "That's how it was on the drawing," was the answer. When I have a shower tiled I assume that everything is tiled. And that an advisor indicates if you miss a piece. Now they skipped the top and part of the front. So we looked at bare concrete. For an additional charge, we eventually had all tiles added. Normally you do not just agree, but with a new construction home with a construction depot you agree faster because the house has to be finished. (my mistake). All in all, I can say that I am satisfied for the kitchen, but I do not recommend this company for a bathroom / sanitary.

For new construction project, we were attached to Van Wanroij as a supplier of the sanitary ware. Showroom is indeed very neat as well as peripherals (lunch and bottle of wine). However, guidance is mediocre and people work towards your budget. The seller was particularly interested in selling our kitchen to us, because he came back to this several times. Installation has yet to follow so will see. Advice is still a bit more from the customer instead of finances!

Due to the purchase of a new-build home through Van Wanrooij Construction & Development, we were referred to Van Wanrooij kitchen, bathroom & tile department stores for the kitchen.

After reading the previous reviews we went somewhat suspicious. Unjustified as it turned out during the appointment.

We have experienced the agreement with Bjorn as very positive. Together with him we selected the right materials and equipment and determined the best arrangement for the room. He thought along well and translated our wishes into our future dream kitchen.

Hopefully the process until delivery will remain as positive as the first appointment we had.

Our old landlords had the kitchen from this company. When we moved into the house, we bought an additional cupboard for our kitchen on September. The wrong cupboards are delivered 2 times. After every wrong delivery, we have to wait one more month. We have to live with an unfinished kitchen for more than 4 months and still do not know when it will be finished. UPDATE 9-9-2019 !!

Last Thursday, September 5, 2019, we were called by VWR.
The review was read by Theo (employee of VWR).
He found this all very annoying and after telling the story for the umpteenth time, Theo also came with, now it turns out, an empty promise.
According to Theo, he would sort this out and present it to the management, since this is such a bad situation.
Theo acknowledged that it is not good to make promises to the customer and then not keep them.
Theo would like to have some time to sort this out well and contact us again on Monday 9 September (today !!) to find a suitable solution.
You can also add those extra days to wait.
So with good hope I waited all day today, but no as expected, NO contact.

Well, Theo, just like your previous colleagues, you are just as good at making promises and not keeping to agreements.

There is a good chance that there will be no response again, but we are waiting for a response.

I bought a kitchen last April.
Sales are fine, but the assembly and aftercare dramatic. Up to 3x the same work not delivered properly. Communication from wanrooij very bad. Call yourself at the back and then they leave you in the cold. Always taking time off again because they have not done the work they have to do 3x well. The kitchen was installed at the beginning of April and it is still a mess and not solved. The money has arrived and then you are no longer preoccupied and you are treated like a whiner.
There is no response to complaints or questions.
If even their own staff say by telephone that the aftercare of their own company is very bad, that seems enough to me!

Regret our purchase and certainly not recommended.

Very bad, they are not professional, people are lying as if it is nothing, you cannot trust what they say, they are mainly on projects because otherwise they will not get customers. They just lie and do not provide complete information to send you to additional work. They then pressurize you to sign while you have not been able to study the entire tender properly. Next day you let them know that you still want to undo that extra work because there was already an option standard in the price that was not discussed, they will secretly change the type of tiles in your quote. They keep the same color, but slightly smaller tiles and type of gloss / mat chosen for you. You can't sink that deep, you would say. Well it can be even deeper. When confronted nicely, they continue to lie that the product number has suddenly changed the next day. Really not normal, in the end they perform for each other to send the wrong offer to the builder. If you send an official complaint to them, they will not even be responded to. Really worthless company.

In itself a good experience where we have chosen beautiful sanitary ware and a kitchen. 1ster less is that when we got home we saw a different oven on the quotation than what we meant while the sales adviser did indicate the one (3 witnesses) that we meant. You might think this could happen, but the annoying thing is that immediately after 1 e-mail we received a superficial answer that we can only change this after a new appointment. It was also true that we were put under a lot of pressure to decide instead of just thinking for 1 week. For us it is already very far away driving. But we hope that it will be handled properly, but we got a nasty aftertaste from the above.

1 extra star given because everything has been corrected after wish. Of course it remains a shame that an appointment has to be made for these kinds of problems. We had to arrange an appointment ourselves. Now wait and see if the kitchen is installed properly. If it is neat, there could just be an extra star.

The kitchen is neatly installed, the fitter was very skilled but there are still 2 points that are not yet good. Did a service notification but seems to take a very long time for a response. Due to a new construction project we had to select the kitchen and bathroom at van Wanroij. After some dramatic initial attempts to make an appointment, we luckily decided to go for the bathroom with someone else. This was not possible for the kitchen because the eztra costs would otherwise be too high. We could only get an appointment at 8:30 in the morning from 1.5am and it had to be completed during this time. That we had to come to their business from maastricht was our problem .
In these 1.5 hours we were rushed through the case and we barely had time to look at multiple options. During the second appointment, which had to be signed, it turned out that quite a few things had been incorrectly drawn and calculated.
A few months later I wanted to ask some questions about the things I had chosen because it had happened so quickly. That was not possible. The secretary refused to put us through to the one who sold the kitchen. Worthless. Eventually, after a lot of insistence and calling back several times, someone else got on the line who said that asking questions was pointless because everything had already been ordered and could not be changed anymore.
The kitchen has now been installed and the quality is worthless. For this we had an ikea kitchen and that quality 10x better. Although this kitchen has cost over 10,000 euros. A large number of defects appeared upon delivery, including that the seller had incorrectly calculated the sides of the island. We now have a floating island. Vwanrooj does not want to do anything about this. In addition, in the first month after the move, they already visited three times for defects and I still have a list of 15 points that are not good about the kitchen.
We have already indicated to the case several times that we are very disappointed with the quality delivered, but there is no response.
We are not the only one in the neighborhood with this problem ... every house that works with van Wanroij has problems and has experienced the service as very bad. even the project contractor said they never expected to have so many problems with a kitchen supplier.

Worthless!



The response below appears to be hot air again ... already 2x not called back at the agreed time and since the mechanic has been, after which you would call immediately, so again nothing. We have already called in legal aid and are going to declare you in default. Apparently posting bad reviews and getting legal aid is the only way to get you guys into action.

Nice sales conversation and good advice in a beautiful showroom. When the signature stood, the process was not entirely flawless. Wrong information from person who came to measure kitchen, incomplete kitchen with long wait and continuous initiative with the customer. After receiving a letter of complaint, apologies and compensation received.

The engineer will come early next week to make the final adjustments (9 weeks after installation). We look forward to that.

Furthermore, a beautiful kitchen with beautiful materials that we are happy with.

So my tip is do not imitate me and never sign immediately. Compare the prices because you will find it cheaper somewhere else.

Last Saturday, August 4, together with my boyfriend, we selected a new kitchen for our new home.

The salesman had four hours before he had his next appointment. The first two hours went very well, walked out together through the showroom and selected a number of equipment. After 2 to 2.5 hours the salesman got in a hurry and it all had to be done quickly.

He could not show us all the equipment and for the handles of our kitchen cabinets we had to send an e-mail so that he could process it in the drawing and order confirmation.

Yesterday an e-mail sent to the seller to schedule a follow-up appointment containing a number of changes. I find it very customer-unfriendly how the seller has acted with us and I am very curious as to how this will end.

Whether we are being turned away or whether we receive the service we deserve. It is not a small amount that is spent there ... :)

We visited Van Wanrooij 3 times to put together our bathroom and toilet. They were subcontractors to our builder Adriaan van Erk. We decided to have the hull delivered and we purchased it externally, we should have done this with the bathroom and toilet.
Yes during the sale everything nice and nice, but ..
Van Wanrooij is the worst service organization we have ever experienced. We are now two years later and the points of our bathroom and toilet are still running. We even have torn tiles in the shower and even this has not yet been picked up. They will finally arrive at the end of April, but not all points that have been reported upon delivery have yet been included (the house was completed in April 2018).
We have aluminum cover strips that are damaged from delivery. This was reported during pre-delivery and completion. Van Wanrooij does not want to believe this because this means that they have to redo the entire bathroom. The aftercare indicates that this is normal and can happen, they do not tell you this in the showroom. This is not normal. Nobody from our project is bothered by this, only our home. We also had an extra wall placed with a niche. The niche is not straight but convex. The tiles of the niche, torn. The finish of the sawn-off tiles leaves much to be desired. At the door frame, all tiles have been ugly cut and not hidden. The bath has thick kit edges because the tiles have been cut too far, they had to fill this with kit.
In the showroom everything was neat, bottle of wine with you after purchase, everything was nice ..
Our advice is to take your bathroom and toilet somewhere else. These two places have become our biggest problems in the whole purchase of our house and I can tell you that decreases your enjoyment of living.

And .. we have had extensive telephone and mail contact with Van Wanrooij for two years. Their master tiler has even been here three times .. Has polished all covering strips with shoe polish so that all kit was covered with black and had to be replaced ..
Just FYI on the messages that they are forwarding these messages to internal people to fix it ...

The preliminary work before we visited was a surprise. Messrs Bas and Johan were very aware of our wishes and also kept them as a guideline during the purchase.

Our compliments also for the kitchen, what a wonderful food and ambiance to take a look at the purchase of a decent edition together.

Van Wanrooij is very generous when it comes to selling, but when it comes to service they drop you like a brick. In fact, they make you pay for something that is their own fault! I bought a new house with my girlfriend. The previous residents sold it before they could live in it. They had already bought the kitchen. Van Wanrooij had forgotten to deliver a front panel when supplying the kitchen and a side leg. After having waited for more than a month (!!!) for those things, I call van Wanrooij to ask when they will place them. This salesperson told me that costs are being charged for this. I asked why, because it is because of Wanrooij's fault that they had forgotten the two parts. Because someone else installed the kitchen, they couldn't do this. After a nice experience to choose our kitchen and bathroom, the result is now clearly less. The kitchen is neat and well supplied and built. unfortunately we can not say that of the bathroom and toilet. The bathroom was ordered with 5 spots in the ceiling, but unfortunately because this was forgotten, the ceiling has been made with an extra central point and we now have a very restless image with spots and finishing plate. The toilet is even worse. we have been waiting for a mirror for 3 months now and the electricity in front of the mirror was forgotten. In addition, ordered a shower toilet from Grohe which now serves as a very expensive ordinary toilet. none of those advanced features work. We bought a house and a kitchen here through a project. We were helped and the kitchen was delivered, but the service is super bad !!! The finish of the extractor is substandard. At the ceiling there is a hole of 5 cm all around and therefore does not connect. After 2 months it is closed, but the painter has left with the northern sun and van Wanrooij does NOT give home. The order for an extra kitchen cupboard also took 3 months, because it was first delivered incorrectly and no technicians were available! The plinth is still not there. !!!! The extractor hood is also unable to drain the condensation properly, causing a cupboard to bulge. Van Wanrooij says very well that they are not liable and that we have to talk to the supplier of the extractor hood ourselves! Just ridiculous! I buy a kitchen from you and you advise me wrong! Then I can figure it out myself, there is not even looked for a solution, really super bad! If you call this "unburdening the customer" ..... you have not understood that.
If I may advise everyone: stay away from this store and spend a little more with a real kitchen supplier.
It can't be the service, because they don't care !!!

All very friendly ..... until all bills are paid and the kitchen is installed. Kitchen is half installed (shelves not hung up + filter broken). After calling 3 times no solution and we just have to wait. It is outrageous that you treat customers that way, for us the first and last time of desolation.

Here bought a kitchen and bathroom two years ago. The showroom and service was great. After that, it went extremely fast backwards. The arrangement for the assembly of the kitchen has been changed three times the day before. The assembly itself was very bad, the kitchen costs 11,000 euros and we have 7500 euros in damage in the home. The kitchen was also delivered while it was not yet half finished. After 12 emails and 8 phone calls and 6 more times a technician it was finally done. This has only lasted more than half a year.

The bathroom was unfortunately no different. This was delivered on completion of the home. A technician has visited four times since then, because everything breaks, rods die and let go, shower heads bursting apart, tiles that have been laid completely crooked. Unfortunately, Van Wanroij does not assume responsibility for this and lays it down with the construction company, the construction company makes up for it again. So it is an endless circle of misery.

Now two years later, we still have defects in our bathroom and kitchen that cannot be solved.

Wow what an experience! We were received very hospitable and you will be provided with all conveniences. A nice snack was even provided during the design. The designs thought along with us well and realized a design that makes all our kitchen dreams come true!

No problem we could always adjust with a simple email. Especially the points we doubted. Once an email has been sent, it is unfortunately no longer possible.
