Friendly service and delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Overlooking the canal.

Great little place on a canal in the Nine Streets area. I stopped in for a simple lunch of zucchini basil soup and a beer. I sat outside at one of the few little tables by the canal. My soup was delicious and just what I wanted. The interior looks lovely. One side is a bar and one side is a more elegant restaurant. I plan to try that next time!

Salmon dish was very good. Letter changes every season, so do not wait for exactly the plate of the photos. Dessert not so good. Friendly service, but somewhat confusing.

Lovely staff and good food. The service is super friendly but a bit slow. However, we didn't mind as the atmosphere was lovely and nothing felt rushed.

Terrific pub with good food. Dederik, the bartender, was very helpful. The food was simple, but very good.

The Amuse Bouche and the ordered food were excellent. The portions look small, but are completely sufficient. Although my partner got served the wrong dish, but the operation without discussion, the court back and offered us a drink. The cook then personally brought the court ordered and apologized. Great experience, gladly again.

Nice, but the food was not exactly warmed up this evening at the second round. Not everyone was satisfied with its taste.

Everything is homemade, so it's perfect. Prices are reasonable. The counterpart is a long wait.

Over-priced food and the waitress despite the place being empty, still rushed us through our meal and took our food away while there was still food on the plates. The decor is nice. The bathroom is not.

The new chef devises and makes delicious dishes. The restaurant looks beautiful from my new decor.

My family stopped here for dinner while put exploring and we were thoroughly delighted. The food was terrific (my salmon was delicious) and the service was very attentive and accommodating. Would definitely go back.

We had a really nice evening.
You can arrange your own menu depending on the course. We had a two course main course and dessert and a three course meal. All courses were really good and the portions just right.
We can recommend it you should definitely book a table it was very well visited.

Staff was friendly. We had a 3 course menu, with several options for each course. The starter (carpaccio) was okay, not really special. The main course was beef, remarkable good for such a quantity.
Desert options lacked icecream on the menu, but all except the cheese, had some ice added.
Drinks were good, the wine (red Merlot) was decent.
It is hard to maintain such a good quality with a group of 50 people.

The night my wife and I visited the kitchen was under staffed( only had 2chefs in) .
The tables were half to three quarters full, a group of ten was upstairs as well.
With a semi open kitchen, I was looking straight down the hot section and pass from the table we were sat at.
I saw the technique the chef used on several dishes before ours were made up. In a way I was not surprised that my wifes well done steak ( due to been pregnant) went back to go on again. As it came out well on the medium side.
As the kitchen was conscious of the time lapse from check on, to going out to the table
It was writen across his body language.
But on the whole, good tasty food, usually Dutch front of house service standards ( nothing to write home about)
But yes I would go again though.

We were with a group of 68 people on site.
In advance we got a menu, from which we have selected 3 main dishes.
On the trip to Amsterdam everyone was interviewed and the food was already ordered for 18 o'clock.
Almost at the same time they had their food on the table and it was delicious.
The place is very nice and cozy and the staff more than friendly.
On the next visit to Amsterdam I will go there again.

Yesterday evening after a wonderful day in the sun on the cozy and cozy terrace of van Puffelen, dara decided to eat. Nice and varied menu with delicious dishes. The dinner perfectly matched the day and I will definitely come back here more often. Nice and attentive service, good food at a reasonable price. Recommended!

Excellent food, friendly but professional service and a beautiful, attractive atmosphere.

Well it was a rainy day in Amsterdam so we were lucky to find a cozy place inside with a wonderful view on gracht through the large windows. As we came inside, the restaurant was quite empty, but soon there were lots of people - perhaps they could see our happy faces from the outside and came inside for a food or drink. The food was great, the draft beer too. The young man who brought us food and drinks was more than friendly - it was nice to talk to him and exchange jokes! In other words, highly recommended!

Food was good but the service was disappointing we had a floating dinner with unlimited drinks. Only got 1 drink in 90 minutes

Really nice place even if you visit it with a larger group of people. We had a three courses menu and apart from the steak (too dry, therefore only four stars) everything was super tasty. Service staff is very friendly and fast.

To be honest, food is plain fare, but reliably tasty. But it's atmosphere! It's the place for celebrations with three generations, and full of happy memories. A great place to go with kids and grandparents, or a group of friends or colleagues, not so much a romantic dinner for two.

I was taken with a group with a group menu prepaid so I can't comment on prices or value but the vegetable lasagne was very poor. The setting and ambience was nice though.

Holiday feeling in our own town! cozy terrace, nice boats watching, friendly service and good food!

Large group of noisy people who were hanging out at the bar at the resaurant previously suspected that it was a cafe rather than a restaurant. After waiting for some time to be brought to our table, my wife and I went back in disappointment. No eye for other customers.
