Very expensive, confusing about what you can and cannot access, long queue at the submarine
1st visit and big disappointment. Lots of closed activities. Security staff not welcoming. Badly indicated.planetarium not recommended
Liked it a lot, a mine of excitement for kids. Only drawback, the long waiting queue at the ticket office
Home with no organization. Personal not friendly but the interior is not bad
One of the best cultural place in Paris, very interesting permanent exhibitions and a really great temporary 'Spy' exhibition!
Lots of closed spaces, entertainment that does not work, we were very poorly advised by phone. Very disappointed.
A waste of time ! Ticket prices are high to access only one of the temporary exhibitions on offer.
We chose e-lab on video games, and it was just different consoles offering game demos.
The small exhibition on robots is interesting, the others are either closed or dated and not fun enough.
In short we have wasted a morning
The place could be nice. Too many activities temporarily unavailable almost half of the activities.
Parking is excessively expensive 14 for not even 4 hours.
It's hard to understand how tickets work. We took a ticket and thought we could access everything but not booked each activity individually online.
Many staff but few are accessible.
My husband insists on going back but without much conviction for me.
Although I have never been there I find that it remains a very beautiful place to watch especially from the side of Koi carp.
Really fantastic. Huge! We didn't even see everything within a whole day. Lots to see, with most exhibits available in several languages, but a little French certainly helps. Very interactive so great fun for all ages.
One of the worst museums ever. If I wanted to watch a documentary on a computer screen I wouldn't go to a museum for that. Fortunately we didn't pay for individual tickets but they were included in MuseumPass. Seriously, this is one of the worst science and technology museums I've ever seen. Don't waste your time.
Cool, but reservations for some popular attractions on the internet are different once there.
Visit the children's city, big disappointment for this 1st visit ... too many closed activities, for the price of 9 euros per person it is really too average ... equipment not available (disposable apron for water games) .
Staff not at all present to help watch ...... and not too friendly ....
Fantastic, some English description but not everything
Always beautiful things to see, to learn and have a good time with children or older children
So clean and beautiful. Many activities are provided some of them are for free and they are just amazing
Very disappointed, half of the activities are out of order. I advise against !
A little expensive for the exhibitions which are short and to see more you have to pay more. Rather disappointed. Personal not friendly and on the defense. Ok
In it's covid time, the city of science is a bit messy. It is difficult to find so.
Great science museum. Only a couple of exhibits for 7+, most are 10+. Combo ticket pricing onsite cheaper than website. Try to take Metro line 7 if you can. Line 5 sometimes a bit hairy. Worth the trip.
This is the place to go for anybody interested or curious about science exhibitions. For all ages.
Wonderful science museum for children and grown ups. You'll need a full day to visit it all. The panoramic cinema and the planetarium are also really worth the tour.
Beware that some exhibition are often closed for repairs/renewal, so check on their website before going!
We liked the planetarium watched the cosmic collusion documentary there but the rest of the place is not worth the money you are paying. Kids only liked the sound section. Went on a weekday afternoon and luckily there was no queue.
Excellent day at the city of science. A place worth a visit for science enthusiasts from all fields. Too bad some experiments did not work.
This is a great exhibit for kids, because there are always new exhibits for kids. The people explain everything perfectly, and you can feel free to ask questions to them if you want to know a little more about the subject. It is a place that I highly recommend if you have children. (Review written by my son.)
Great museum
Be careful though with Tikets tickets
Frankly awesome. We had a great time between the planetarium and the visit of a submarine, through various discovery workshops we just did not see the time pass.
It is an inevitable place for any person a time is little interested in the discovery
Always so good, interesting and fun.
Too bad there are a lot of HS workshops.
Not many people at the moment ...
To redo
The city of science and industry was really a binifitial area and and alot of students and comers get benifits and solve their problems ...so i have no words to to tell about
Located within easy reach by metro, this was a snap decision to visit due to adverse weather.not being good at FRENCH, the staff were very helpful in giving us the options above the basic cost of 11 per adult and 7 per child, so we chose the planetarium and the explanation of where we sit in the universe and dark matter etc at on 3 extra each - it was awesome.
As for the rest of attractions, well, we would have been satisfied just with these.
The kids loved it as did we, and they learned a lot with the hands-on experiences.
A real must if you have kids with you -ours are 8 n 10.
Disappointing a city of science degraded, at the end of its breath, abandoned compared to what it was: half of the exhibitions closed, exhibitions with many positions temporarily unavailable, not repaired .... Very nice show on the black holes in the planetarium and interesting mini brain talk. Nothing to say about the health provisions on the covid, it is very safe. Too little interactivity with the public in the permanent exhibitions.
Great places, many things closed because of health and not necessarily indicated on the site damage
What this place offers is amazing. Great security at the entrance. The exhibits are super interesting and well maintained. Definitely coming back.
Disappoiting. Museum is not very well arranged and most of the descriptions only in french.
Nice hands-on museum. Entry allows to see a movie also, although if there is a lot of interest, the movie-only customers go first. Good place to go with kids. Some restaurants on-site to have a bite for lunch. Worth going for more than a few hours.
The prices should be revised downwards given that a lot of workshops are closed. Quite disappointed in general. I found that the place lacked life. Some interesting workshops but 1h30 on site for that .. Too bad.
Good but could do better.
Also the coolest activities are often hs.
My experience is negative. I wanted to go to the marquee area which recommends getting off at the Porte de la Villette stop. And there nothing no dab to withdraw cash. The inflatable marquee space does not accept cb. The total incomprehension how a commercial space imposes to pay a ticket city of sciences to access the only dab. How to operate without dab in a commercial space? The dab I am told is Corentin Cariou! Seriously in this heat 4 children including 1 in infancy, we give up and go back to the grandparents. Maybe another time.
Our 3 kids under 3 loved it. Lots to do, plenty of different activities to cater for each individual child. Very safe and easy to supervise kids roaming around. Was fine for 2prams as we left them in the central walkway while kids went off to each exhibit/play area on the side.
Cafe had plenty of choice for lunch.
90minutes is good amount of time.
Spy exhibition with my children aged 17 and 12, 2 good hours scripted by the office of legends, they really liked.
This place is great for children and adults.
In it found exhibitions on several themes including science, robotics, mathematics, industry.
Very rich and fun exhibition. I took my 4 and 7 year old kids there and they loved it. Too bad that some stands are closed (sanitary context obliges) I am thinking in particular of that of music (giant piano ...)
Visit that I definitely recommend.
It has a very familiar ambient, for kids to adults, there's places for everyone, where curious kids can discover new things, teenagers can use their knowledge to solve problems and adults can have a gaze into the modern and ancient knowledge
Cute place but note that with younger kids, you should definitely take the play are as there are no interactive things in the "explore" area.
Mind it that some areas need prebooking and the planetarium has a queue of about half an hour
Honestly, there are way too many videos to sit in front of and some of the exhibitions are too superficial. In terms of the content and my interest, I would give the museum a one or two star rating. That said, it's heavily oriented towards children and the price is quite fair. I think the level and content are both great for kids, but unfortunately I'm a 32 year old scientist :D
2 stars because my children always like to come and have a lot of fun.
Unfortunately it is an aging place.
The exhibition of opposites is not bad, but the cities of children: what a disappointment. We came in early September. Half of it was closed: the work site in particular and many other activities such as the labyrinth and so on.
I was told that after closing for maintenance pdt all the same two weeks, everything would be open again because it had to be cleaned.
We come back this day and always the same: site completely closed and all the other workshops still closed.
Such a shame. Not to mention the very lively water games. Everything is broken. Nothing works. Experiments cannot be done and shown to children.
The price is exorbitant. What a shame !
Thank you for the digital crossroads, I encountered no racism. A great adventure and a unique place to share ... Don't change your team. Thank you Paris
NO ! is the word
DISAPPOINTMENT
Worthy of the educational exhibitions of the 80s. If you want to discover industry and science, this is not the right place. Obvious lack of means. Reception by a staff with little investment and little motivation. A large empty shell or you must reserve to access certain exhibitions. What a DECEPTION we have entered the era of non-valuation of science and industry through this place that is more vintage than a place of discovery of science and industry. Our policies have long divested this field
On a freezing day this is a good place to be with kids
Absolutely to avoid! Documentaries that date back 15 years. Exports are empty of content. I didn't discover anything that I didn't already know. Don't spend your money on it.
Wonderful experience, after my first visit, I decided to have an annual card with my son.
Many exhibitions to see and there is always something new to discover.
children's workshops were overcrowded and either plain or broken
French navy submarine Argonaute was definitely worth the visit with the audioguide
Great place for children to interactively experience scientific principles.
Very good idea for children. We went with 3 children: two 3 years old and one 6 years old. They had a good time and particularly appreciated the water games, the labyrinth, the construction site. There are toilets designed for children. By cons, 1:30 it goes very quickly.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even want to go want to do look more like?
The pedagogy is always there for the little ones, even if with the health crisis, arrangements had to be made! (The gel is available everywhere and kindergartens can do it alone)
Great with kids from 2y + Cite des enfants is a great playground for a cold rainy day
What a museum ... to experience everything, you need days! Every aspect of natural sciences and techonogies is explained with either interactive or multimedia features. The museum makes you take part in the exploration literally! The best science museum I have seen so far (comparisons - London, Vienna, Boston MIT, Prague - this beats all of them).
The website tells you that the site is happy to see you again after this confinement. This is completely wrong.
The planetarium session on black holes was closed at 2 p.m. sharp. There were about 20 of us who had reservations and could not enter when there were 130 places available. I am not explaining to you my son's disappointment with particularly rude employees who tell your child that it is good for him.
Finally, we decided to see the brain show. When we scheduled our visit, the website indicated that it would be open. Well no, it's still closed.
This is called a big mess. But the most unbearable is the nasty tone of the employee who is addressed to my son. I don't think I will set foot here again.
90 minutes isn't enough for the kids. And that's what your tickets buys you in the kids area. Otherwise they had fun before we got kicked out.
We have the yearly PASS for 4 years now. Not because it's really great, but simply because we are just in neighborhood and it s a spacious playground for children. During these four years we come and go, what we experienced today was the worst.
Somehow there is a bunch on uninformed employees who instead of getting themselves informed, chose to argue with customers with valid membership! Yeap, it only happens in France. And come on, we are in France, that scanning ticket man and manager kept talking in other language --- I don t know whether it s Algerian or Moroccan. Note well, I didn t take his picture, got my phone checked by the security guy.
Review your attitudes, monsieurs. I don t know where exactly was wrong with them and their system. I do believe that the manager, who lower down his tone at the end, knew that he was wrong but refuse to acknowledge it. The scanning ticket guy was simply ignorant; he was not well informed to let extended membership people in or simply new employee. As simple as that.
No support for Polish, poor support for English. Even the lack of English inscriptions in the planetarium means that money has been wasted. The exhibition is ok as long as you know French. It's expensive if you want to see everything. Free positions are not very addictive
Nice place with lots of activities. Ask information first on what is to do. Plenty to do for adults there. Some interesting, some not so much. Still we managed to always find something to do from morning till closing time.
Great place to visit. For kids and adults. Interesting expeditions. I MAX was nice but I expected something more exciting. Some expeditions were not working but generally it was in good condition. It had also English translations
Great hotel offering many activities. Super panoramic cinema. In addition, an ideal place to encourage children from an early age, from scientific discoveries. Still searching for evolution and renewal, it is always a great pleasure to visit new exhibitions. :)
No one, to flee !! Website that does not work. Ticket office on terminal with an endless queue to see aging and uninteresting permanent exhibitions. The other exhibits and the planetarium are full for the week.
Very dissapointing. The science museum for children is quite good, nothing different from other similar museums we have visited, except that here you can stay for maximum 1h30. We could barely see half of it. The aquarium consists of 4 or 5 tanks, the submarine - very interesting, but we had to wait for an hour to get in...
Visits to very interesting exhibitions. We are surprised that there are not many people, lack of communication on the one hand and on the other hand we regret that there is no inclusive writing in order to make girls aware of mathematics and to science
Nice with kids. Place didn't age too well but the main thing is the exhibitions. Plenty of good ones for kids.
I first went 10 years ago and it was good. I just went there and it was barren. There is not much going on. The one info lady I asked said due to covoid they are in between displays and some have been closed. Sad.
Excellent science museum in a very beautiful place in the city of Paris, you can see temporary exhibitions and the museum exhibition. So much fun to go with kids
Place in decline: the reception is cold, the website for reservations faulty and few places are accessible from the opening. The equipment shows a certain obsolescence and functions randomly. We also had to pay twice for our tickets because the website had not registered our transaction. A refund form was proposed but what a waste of time ... Disappointing ... The place seems empty and that is understandable ...
Great visit for all ages, young and old.
Fantastic displays which are fun and incredibly informative.
You can easily spend several day there.
The prices were extremely reasonable.
Superb day.
Would not be the first place in my Paris itinerary. But worth visiting once.
Always happy to come and enjoy this great interactive place. Bring in your memories of your childhood and the joy of discovery. Super cool - visit of real submarine, cinema La Geode or huge, modern surrounding park.
A beautiful museum but you have to wait 2 hours to stay there 30 minutes if you have no lunch!
Going there earlier and with a meal may be a good solution.
This place is just shameful.
This museum should be closed for 5 years and completely renovated.
12 euros is theft. There is nothing good.
Old and faded floor. No plan, inconsistent arrangement. We don't know where we're going, or what we're seeing.
Confused, not in-depth, inconsistent exhibitions. When there is a little experiment, 50% of the time it is broken down.
It's empty, it's hollow, it's boring.
Sorry, a babysitter pointed to the aquarium. Oh my god, it fits in my living room.
12 euros, save them, go see something else.
Someone can tell me how we can alert the ministries of industry, culture, education on the state of this thing?
Damage bcp expo out of service and the geode under construction.
Catering level is better to plan a picnic because the prices are bcp too high
The temporary "Spies" exhibition is extremely well thought out and captivating!
