Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

Dredger room for 250 that is what they call a budget room. But solved with a different room when you complain than it suddenly does.

Nice shuttle bus from Schiphol. Booked beautiful room with hot tub! Room had some traces of use and air conditioning did not really work. Simple and small wellness, but nice big swimming pool. We will definitely come back!

We stayed at the Schiphol Hotel from January 1st to 3rd, 2016.
The hotel was fairly easy to find (GPS) and the parking included in the price of the room.
From the outside it seemed ordinary, but inside we were very pleasantly surprised by the decoration and the space there was.
We had a room redone with taste and very modern. We enjoyed the space that it offered.
The sauna was clean and the pool not very hot but allowed us to have a good time.
The breakfast buffet was perfect, choice, taste, quantity and time ...
We priced the other meals outside, there is a cafeteria across the road.
A free shuttle bus took us to the train station and even with a very average english we easily found the train to Amsterdam (2 stops).
Attention French is very little spoken in the Netherlands and the hotel.

Hotel class, professional staff. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The gym, pool, shingles and steam room are clean and accessible to all. The breakfast at will is royal!

Quite an average hotel, and yet difficult to find fault. Friendly, fast and efficient reception & checkout. Room was modern & clean, but some decor lacking a bit of quality. The resteraunt had very nice food. Bars were well stocked and both food and drinks were reasonably priced. Quite a large hotel with a lot of guests which made it seem busy and crowded. Good connection to airport with a free courtisy bus. I would recommend this hotel.

This Van der Valk Hotel really needs a makeover. This is a hotel that is thriving with its many tourists, hence the need for improvement is not really there. This hotel is just a cash cow for Van der Valk, which is why they don't have the name prominently on it and it is called Hotel Schiphol (I suspect).
If you have a business appointment, then sit 20 meters away at La Place is my advice.

The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is good and the wines very tasty. The shuttle service provides a fast connection to Schiphol.

Very good hotel near Schiphol airport, with courtesy bus. Pool, gym, excellent restaurant.

Is becoming more and more expensive for the same stay

I challenge you to stay in a hotel this good at these prices!. We had a double room with a balcony for 4 days over New Years for less than 250!. The staff were friendly, hallways were grand and room was quiet and well equipped. Would definitely stay again

The location of the hotel is good near the airport Schiphol.

My girlfriend and I had booked a suite for one night. Simply WOW what a luxury luxury just delicious. Bed perfect room good clean everything tiptop.

Only downside was the breakfast we were there on Christmas Day morning maybe it was just that but it was terribly busy, otherwise good food

Room won at holiday auctions. The room itself upgraded to hot tub. We had a wonderful overnight stay!

As usual Van Der Valk Hotels are great atmosphere, clean and tidy, good looking interieur and good spacious rooms.
This time were a bit dissappointing as the showerhead were missing, and the water drain from the bath totally jammed. Therefore this time 3 Stars only

Great service, clean rooms, great service again, food was great... No complaints. I was not able to test all they have to offer, but big thanks to the staff for being super friendly and service oriented.

To be honest,this is the best hotel from my west europe trip.. location near airport, there are fast food resto in front of the hotel.. very clean & big room.. nice view outside the room, good breakfast.. if i visiting holland someday,i will stay again at this hotel..

We had a very good romantic stay and we were very happy to eat in the restaurants and brasserie ... I tasted a salmon with mousseline sauce and Florentine spinach worthy of a restaurant ... For my Apart from the hotel and the welcome were very warm ... I highly recommend spending a day there ... The price is worthy of the place and I will certainly return with pleasure .... Thank you to all the staff and to the reception ... do not change and stay as you are

Waaaay too far from everything, even far from the airport. But if you have a layover flight you are well treated

Room for 4 spacious. Damage lack of storage especially for a few days. Near the airport and highways but without inconvenience. Sumptuous breakfast buffet. Bravo. Parking problem. Little trick take the parking n2 where it has more place and we joined the reception at the same time knowing the place, swimming pool, gym ....

Nice modern hotel with an indoor pool. Near the airport, with free shuttle bus from the airport. Large rooms with balcony or terrace. Friendly and courteous staff. Good restaurant with a large, varied and delicious breakfast buffet. Large parking possibilities. Can you recommend.

Very nice rooms, food is okay but very much the same everyday. Cleaning personal is unfriendly.

Great place to be. Clean, modern and the Wellness area is for free. There is a free shuttle bus every 40 minutes to the airport.

A very nice hotel like mine is already here for the second time. The hotel makes from the outside now no great impressions but from the inside it is very pretty and clean. The rooms are modern and very well equipped even the breakfast is delicious. The parking is free and you have a free airport shuttle which you can use.

One of the worst hotel in van de Valk.

Not treated hospitably upon arrival and had to hurry to sign. Once arrived in the room, the room did not smell that fresh. For the rest, the room looked reasonable. Curtains were broken and the bath was not that fresh either. In the brasserie of the hotel it was also not very welcoming. We then noticed the staff are not happy to work there, much sigh after the customer ordered.
The breakfast was good and extensive. But again not so hospitable to the guests.

All in all 1 day is enough and wouldn't come again so soon.

There are better of the Valk hotels.

The room in the new building were spacious and clean.
The highlight, however, was the extensive breakfast buffet.

Spending the night here the night before departure from Schiphol is great! Take a fly park sleep package and you can park your car for free for 30 days. There is a free shuttle available.

Unfortunately placed in an older style room, as the hotel was full due to the number of cancelled flights as the UK had had a very light dusting of snow. The rest of the facilities were good. All the staff were excellent, slept like a log.

The hotel has a chic ambience, stylish rooms and friendly staff. The free shuttle has a fast connection to the airport. From there you can be in the city center in 15 minutes.

Fairly far away from Schiphol. Nice roadside restaurant at 2 minutes walking distance. The free shuttle bus service is very handy. Very rich breakfast. Fine fitness and beautiful swimming pool / wellness. The staff was not very friendly.

Great starting point if you have an early flight at Schiphol, and with the park, sleep & fly concept you can also leave your car here and have you take the shuttle bus to Schiphol. A relaxed start to your holiday in this way.

Huge hotel, amazing view. Had a really comfortable stay

Nice hotel with a spacious lobby. Great for a business appointment. Funny is the self-service bar where you place your order through a touchscreen and then take it with you. Just like at McDonalds. Getting used to it but it works. A major renovation will start soon. It must be ready in 2020. I am curious because now it is already well organized !! Recommended!
