The hotel is ocated in a quiet and green area, 3 minutes walk to Vondelpark and 10 to the Museum Square. There is also a tram stop nearby that gets you to the city centre. Very friendly staff, always helpful. Rooms are clean l. The only thing I didn't like was the size of rooms. For 150 eur (nonrefundable) price you get a tiny twin room where even one person would feel uncomfortable. It's so small it's hard to make a large step anywhere.

Very nice hotel with ditto rooms. Located against the Vondelpark and within walking distance of public transport.

The bar is open until 1 a.m., unfortunately the snacks shown on the menu are no longer available after 10 p.m.

Given the international character of Amsterdam, I understand well that foreign-speaking staff is employed, but it would be nice if they at least understand the Dutch language.

This was the best hotel. The staff are very service minded. Breakfast is the best. This hotel is very welled designed. Everything from room, breakfast area, gym is thought out. Hotel is nearby Riksmuseum and Van Gogh. Next to a park.

It was fine, the room was nice except the bathroom doesn't lock and is just 'in' your room. The breakfast was unlimited but it wasn't very good, and I don't generally eat high quality foods, but that was low quality meats

What a beautiful hotel! Especially after the renovation with the entrance on the park side. Rooms have been totally renovated, beautifully and attractively furnished and equipped with all conveniences. The staff is spontaneous on all fronts and provides a warm welcome. Everything is right. I can't wait until the other part is also open and we can enjoy the new restaurant. But now you have no problems with the renovation.

A good host for a bleisure, this ho(s)tel sets more advantages: very close to Museums Place; the neighbourhood offers more restaurants and pubs, available for different cuisines; easy access to business district. The problem: the abusive manner of bikers - I may say this type of raiders have too many rights and defy any common-sensed traffic rules.

I really like the neighbourhood, very close to the Rijks Museum and other cultural places of interest. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and tidy and uncomplicated and only a short tram ride to the city centre.

The hotel is located so that you can get to the center by public transport. The rooms are a bit old, the furniture grazing corresponding damage. Ok for a city break, I did not want to spend a holiday here

Poor customer service from one of the receptionists. It did not help at all and he did not bother or mean to make himself understood for those who do not speak perfect English.
The rooms very well and the breakfast phenomenon

The environment is good because it is in a quiet residential area with lots of greenery.
The point is that there are no supermarkets or stores like convenience stores nearby.
Stylish interior like a designer hotel.
However, most of the rooms do not have a bathtub or even a refrigerator. All rooms are non smoking.
I wonder if I will stay next. Such a hotel

Good hotel, great quiet location, pleasant service. The booking center for Radisson in Germany by phone pretty bad. Can the hotel nothing for. Breakfast is ok, but would be seen individually max. Get 4 stars. For the perfect impression, a little more choice would be appropriate here.

We spent one night there, it was perfect. Neat, spacious room, nicely decorated, nice shower / toilet, wonderful king-size bed with brand new, luxurious mattress, good breakfast with lots of choice, nice people at wait staff and reception. For us a place to come back, especially for that price!

Everything was as you would expect with any decent hotel. However, experience in the restaurant was a different story. Seemed to be a running theme amongst the, what i assume are managers, in the tweed jackets. Terrible attitude, demeanour and just overall presence. Ego central. Would have been treat with better customer service in Burger King. Food and other staff were great though.

My room was dark and small. I rented the bike for 16 a day for 5 days: the second day the gearbox broke. I asked to change it and I was told that they had none with a shrug: I had neither change, nor repair, nor money back. Furthermore, little administrative care: in the middle of the stay, they urgently asked me again n. Credit card and bail, already given at check-in. The only positive aspect: breakfast.

Located in a posher part of Dam a short walk from the museum district it's a nice area rrally close to the park. Room was decent, clean but the shower sink set up is a bit weird as the sink is in the bedroom not the shower room itself. Barman made a lush Old Fashioned and was good for a chat too. Super friendly staff too, a nice hotel.

Nice, affordable hotel, close to all major tourist attractions, but in a very quiet neighborhood. Very good and complete breakfast for a reasonable price. The staff is really nice and helpful. I have stayed in many, many hotels, and this one has the record for most amenities--they even give you a spray with a scent for your pillow! Would definitely recommend it.

FAILED AUTO-LOCK SYSTEM

FAILED AUTO-LOCK SYSTEM
STOLEN CASH
BAD EXPERIENCE

I was a guest at room 227 at Park Plaza Vondel Park in Amsterdam during 20th - 23th September where I had almost a great experience.

On our last night at the hotel (22nd September) we had left our room for dinner (between 7pm-1am) and came back to the hotel, only to discover that some of our cash had been missing from our wallets in the guest room. My roommate and I were assisted by the manager in charge (Marchel) on Friday morning prior to our departure. Based on the initial investigations by the hotel Manager (Marchel) and a Security Manager (Hamid), although the guest room door shut, the auto-lock system did not function properly, which had led to further investigations by other hotel staff members.

Even though we received other 4-star services, we did not feel safe after realising someone had infiltrated into our room, and gone through our suitcases.

I had been in touch with the manager in charge, Marchel Meeues, and the hotel manager, Maaike Slok since, regarding the investigation to obtain further information on the updates of the incidents, and report from the hotel so that I could proceed with the insurance claims although, did not receive sufficient information, nor proper assistance. I even email the Operational Manager but received no response.

I fully understand that the room safe is provided and strongly recommended for us to store our valuable belongings, but for me, this is a different story. I learned that by the time we left our room that night, there should be none of any hotel staff that has the rights to enter our room, as cleaning and checking was already done in the afternoon. In fact, there should be no one else but us who can enter room 227. However, someone managed to break into our room and stole all of our cash.

I would like to point out that this incident is not about our reckless acts, it is about the security that the four-star hotel should provide to the guests. I can confirm you again that we are more than certain that the door was shut completely and supposed to be locked, .....but it did not. Again, the security manager (Mr. Hamid) was there to test the door himself and he witnessed the same thing we did.

I am highly appreciated with the offer ( 200) of a free night stay and refund, however, what my friend and I have lost was 600 and another 300 cash.

In fact, the lost was more than that as I have to deal with international transactions in order to continue with my trip to Iceland in the very next morning but I want to fix it at 600 as I think it is the way to show my honesty. Not to mention about how devastated we felt due to the incident as, for me, this could be a life-threatening incident.

I had hoped that the staff members of the hotel would have taken greater care regarding the safety concerns raised by their guests.

Given the nature of the actions undertaken by the staff members at the hotel, I would hesitate to recommend to stay at this hotel in the future.

Nice hotel, accomodating, nice staff that helped us a lot. We ended up with the wrong room on the first day and it got sorted pretty quickly. The breakfast is nice, staff polite. The only drawback was the smell in the bathroom and shower area in the morning, coming from the gutter bit. I did read about this but brushed it off, it certainly needs sorting because the smell is very unpleasant and the last thing you need is a stinking room when you've been out all day and return to the hotel. The location is about 3 miles from dam square, and tram stop can be found round the corner. Getting our head round the public transport probably saved us 100 euros
You can get the 2 right into dam square, and all the museum. Overall, pleasant experience.

Easily accessible from the main train station and city center by tram. On foot, the museum district within 10 minutes easy to reach. The hotel itself is located on the edge of the Vondelpark in a quiet location. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are tastefully and conveniently furnished. Small deductions are available for the advertised, but not existing mini bar; as well as partly heavily soiled radiator controls and door traps.
