Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

Ideally so close to Schiphol. Very cheap overnight! Decently. Parking was quite full, so a short walk, but that makes sense so close to the airport.

Nice hotel clean and nice new rooms with even a dolce gusto machine in the room for coffee or tea nice bathroom nice staff and a nice swimming pool to swim laps also there is a sauna heat chairs etc we like to come here as an overnight hotel for an early flight from Schiphol

Everything good many possibilities in the hotel. However, you always have to go to the airport with a shuttle because the hotel is located at a rest stop. However, no problem in order to noise.

Last night I slept in this hotel for the first time. Although it is part of the Van der Valk chain, this hotel does not meet the standards that you would expect from a Van der Valk Hotel. The reception by the reception was okay, but chewing gum during check-in is of course not an option.
The room and beds are fine, nothing wrong with that. However, we missed a fridge and drawers to put something in. The half open bathroom is funny. However, it was quite noisy.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious and lavish. Especially the staff at the dinner was very friendly and correct. Friendliness at breakfast could be a bit better. Not heard a good morning.

In short: not a van der Valk experience, but a great hotel if you have to be near Schiphol.

Food was good .. it was cleared up quickly and most tatas come for dessert

Came for the Sunday brunch and it is really exquisite! Fresh and luxurious choices. Warm dishes and wonderful salads, but also fried snacks. Keep some space for the dessert buffet. It is outstanding!

Very nice hotel with nice clean rooms. Perfect food.

The location is top very close to the airport and not far from Amsterdam! The parking is often full, but well developed. The reception is very friendly and very helpful! There are swimming pool and sauna. The rooms are very well maintained! But is Top OK!

Clean rooms, great service. We were stranded overnight in Amsterdam and we're sent here by KLM. Excellent service by KLM. They really worked hard to accommodate us. The meals were provided by KLM which were okay. The lunch and dinner were not bad but the breakfast buffet was really good. Nice variety and great choices. Overall a good place.

Hotel is garbage. Had bugs in our room and the hotel did nothing to assist us. Wouldn't even move us in another room. Our sheets had stains in them and shower had black mold. Worst hotel conditions I've had in my life.

Too far out of town, the older rooms are dirty. Nothing around there.

Definitely we go back, this hotel has all what we looking for, spacious and clean rooms and shower, great view, awesome breakfast only expensive, design, decoration, and very important the shuttle, we were very impressed.

Located on the highway and therefore convenient. There is a shuttle bus to Schiphol. Ideal to spend the night before, after or during a trip.

Nice spacious modern rooms and a nice swimming pool. You can also enjoy delicious food in the restaurant. I come back here more often!

We were helped nicely and had a nice lunch, but the interior could use an update, as many other vd Valks have already had.

Food is awesome. The bed a little too soft to my standards.

Rooms are absolutely top, eaten a delicious steak at the restaurant, a star restaurant can beat that, really great. And the staff was really there for us when our son injured his foot. Thanks again for your efforts !!!

Delicious food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Extensive menu with sufficient choice of salads, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

Good airport connection, free transfer, very good breakfast! Room with the number 547 not recommended! It does not seem to have been renovated for a long time! The room service is poor!

Hotel restaurant was out of the question .. the meat was far from fresh and tasted like a pre-packed frozen meal.
Very disappointed and does not live up to a 4 star hotel restaurant.
Breakfast also not special, old plastic mirror eggs are ready and the fruit in which there was enough choice was or not ripe or too, all in all a disappointment for which you pay 60 euros based on: 2 night 2 pers.
The management (I think) was friendly and smooth when he walked past but the staff was more concerned with themselves towards closing time and ready as soon as possible, whereby they did not serve us friendly (kitchen closes at 11 we ate at 10)
The next day we had dinner in the la place across the street from the hotel, which of course was nothing special, but we paid almost nothing for that.

Amazing Hotel Very confortable. Hot water, big rooms, swiming pool, tasty food. evrething is just amazing!!

In winter, the rooms are too warm at night (+ - 22 degrees). Adjusting the thermostat differently does not seem to help.

The other facilities are fine. Rooms are clean, breakfast extensive and great pool.

We often use falcon hotel for the shuttle bus to Schiphol

The bathroom is poorly drained and blocked, and it will be flooded when bathing.
