Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

Good place to sleep before you fly. Breakfast is less extensive than before. But still fine. Missed the salmon and French cheeses.

Ok. About 80 from Dam place to the hotel by taxi with no traffic. No lactose free milk options on breakfast.

Me and my partner stayed here this weekend. Such a beautiful hotel, more than enough choice of food at breakfast. Rooms were big modern and very clean. Beds were also very comfy.Lovely sauna and swimming area. Really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return.

Everything except the location is perfect. There are also a lot of activities around the area, fitness, swimming, sauna, outdoor activities, casino, kfc, la lalas restaurant, Burger King. . . Very close to the airport, more convenient

The Valk Schipol is conveniently located (a shuttle service connects the hotel to the airport). The rooms are very nice and spacious. The staff is very friendly!
We would like to visit Amsterdam again and the Valk Schipol offers a good basis!

We had a room for 4, which was pretty spacious, with a really large tub in the bathroom. The beds we're comfortable and the room was clean. It was also quiet during our stay, so no problems sleeping. Breakfast is not included, but there is an on site restaurant and a place to purchase grab and go items. We didn't use either of those options. The shuttle service was a convenient way to get to and from AMS airport. We used it numerous times. Unfortunately, if you miss one by a few minutes, you may have too wait 45 minutes for the next available shuttle during heavy traffic. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport, and 30 minutes from downtown Amsrerdam, but you can take the shuttle to the airport and catch a train into the city.

There is very little around the hotel, however, the staff are amazing. The food is great and the design on the lobby is beautiful. The actual rooms are very basic and a bit old fashioned but i would still recommend the hotel.

Very, simply very beautiful hotel with good food and friendly staff.
What bothered me - the toilet and shower are practically not separated from the room, so your companion is fully aware of when and what you are doing there. Also, when you leave the shower, you go straight into the room, so if there are children, it can be uncomfortable.

Hotel nice until the time to enter the room .. Smells evacuations of foul water and impossible to have water for the shower .. Washbasin clogged .. By cons the restaurant is top you eat very well. The room was offered by klm suite pb .. It may be that we had a room in the contract ..

What a beautiful hotel, my eyes looked out .. unfortunately can not tell much because I have only been there for a Christmas drink. But if the lobby looks so beautiful, the rooms are probably even more beautiful!

I stand on the booking one day later. Fortunately, they have adapted this for me without problems. Bus and drove to the airport on time.

We are very satisfied with the hotel. We booked a standard room and got upgraded to a deluxe room. Thanks a lot for this. The room is very modern and for the price really highly recommended. Especially the big bathtub convinced us. We are also very happy with the free bus to the airport, which we use every day to drive from there to the center of Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice hotel, which we will definately book again when we make a trip to Amsterdam again.

Just 15 minutes from the Amsterdam airport, the Hotel is very large, beautifully decorated for Christmas, very large, comfortable and with a modern, warm and open concept. The kind treatment, the delicious and abundant breakfast; dinner too!

The stay is great, the breakfast is buffet style from fruit to desserts from a full breakfast to just a coffee, for an affordable price, if you go to dinner they change the prices but if a complete meal, a 10.
In transport to the airport 10 minutes and in connections better to take the subway is cheaper than buses but also affordable, enjoy your travel.

Comfortable, though rooms are small, close to the airport, breakfast is sumptuous, the spread is bigger than you can imagine... Don't miss the tall waiter at the dining.

We had a good night. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The gym was adequate and diner and breakfast were good.

We had no complaints but the hotel didn't have anything extra memorable.

The highlight of our stay was the waitress Fabienne during diner. Her enthusiasm and service was worthy of 5 stars alone.

Very spatious and nice looking restaurant with a great menu. The rib-eye was really good together with the bearnaise sauce that came with it. The food was served quickly and the staff was very friendly. Dining here is recommended!
