Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

I have been there for misunderstanding with the flights. Beautiful, comfortable equipped. A little out of the way.

The stay was fine, nice room. However, I was here on 22/11, and I am still busy recovering the deposit (which was incorrectly debited from my credit card). They indicated by telephone that it was their fault and that they would arrange it immediately. It is now over a week ago. I have not heard anything, and my money has not been refunded. Too bad, because I was also very pleased. Now I will never come back

Close to Amsterdam Airport and Kukenhof Garden food and cleanliness excellent

I burned my fingers first degree just by feeling the waterk

Very nicely decorated. Takes little into town but it is a wonderful hotel and a shuttle runs every 40 minutes.

I come here more often and this time I had the sauna suite. Not cheap, but a fantastic room with, of course, a sauna, shower with steam function and a 2-person hot tub. Recommended.

Slept so often, always great. This time a room without a bath and without a minibar. That was bales, not paying attention when booking. In addition, it was so incredibly busy during breakfast and the coffee was cold. That was the only downside

Large hotel with good breakfast and good location to the airport. Excursions to the city center are also possible with a 30-minute drive (free shuttle to the airport every 40 minutes and from there by train for around 10 euros per person there and back). Wellness area is unfortunately not a hit. With us the sauna was already switched off at 8:30 p.m. The whole floor was wet and it was very cold. The changing area was dingy and nothing of the 5 euros cleaning fee for the bathrobe was noted on the booking confirmation.

Clean with fruit but I have to say expensive. Everywhere in Amsterdam everything is expensive

One of the best (vd. Valk) airport hotels! Look at the packages. Good breakfast, good restaurant, bar, bed etc. Do not make a reservation if you like peace ... it is a real airport hotel, so people day and night. However, the rooms are very well soundproofed, so once in the corridor it is quieter. Shuttle bus available and can also be arranged outside the driving schedule at night. Pleasant and spontaneous staff.

Strange lynchian hotel used for compensation for flight cancellation. Not my cup of tea.

Friendly staff and a nice hotel. The room was slightly outdated. Furthermore, not a nuisance, no large room but great for a night. Breakfast super extensive and very tasty.

Ideal for early flights, it saves a lot of stress. Breakfast already at 5 a.m. + shuttle to Schiphol! Top. Schiphol parking costs deducted from hotel costs and it is a bargain.

Great location near main road and close to schiphol Airport. Great place to eat, bug portions, fresh and decent prices. Restaurant is being redesigned currently. Brasserie is a nice place to spend time with a drink. Friendly staff

It does not impress from the outside, but the interior is level, clean and neatly tasty.

An old hotel with unique charms - just two stories, the building is sprawling with large rooms (which have balconies too ! - a rarity in this part of Europe). The service is quietly efficient. It has a free bus shuttle to Schiphol airport (every 40 mins) from where you could take a train to anywhere. Very convenient.

As always had a great Christmas dinner. Well taken care of. See you next time.

3 visits spaced each time by several years and always delighted with the welcome, the setting, the rooms of the hotel bar and especially the restaurant of the hotel. Very reasonable prices and fine cuisine with perfect seasonings. I highly recommend.

For one night as a starting point to explore the city. Good quality. This is not a hotel to relax - on the side of the airport and highway.

The park and fly package is a very good deal and the regular busses to the airport are a good solution for avoiding the heavy traffic in peak hours around Amsterdam.

Awesome hotel, awesome staff! But about 25mins from airport and the resteraunt pretty expensive. Other than that I can not complain!

Huge, but well organized, clean and friendly. Great breakfast buffet. Lies in nowhere on the highway. Suitable for transients, bus tourists and motorists. And of course for stranded air tourists from Schipol (thanks KLM! I will not fly with you anymore).

Got a free room from KLM after a flight got overbooked. Nice and fast shuttle bus from airport. Took 1 minute to check inn. Rooms were good, internet was decent and the breakfast was good with lots of food to offer. :)

Nice place, huge one might get lost, warm staff, except 1 lady who made me call her Manager since she refused a coffee maker in a 4 star.

The staff is bad and not smiley .. The hotel is old and busy as well as the parking lot is busy and free .. The accommodation was convenient .. Close to the airport 10 Dakaiq next to the petrol station and restaurant Burq KNC and KFC

Ample parking right in front of us and hotel around. Very friendly and attentive staff. Close proximity to the airport, but little annoyance from aircraft noise. Ideally located because of the motorway. Slightly dated room decor, but clean and tidy.

Neat, cozy hotel, nice rooms, nice suites. They continue to innovate, renovation is planned.
