What are the hotels like at Van der Valk?
Always great !! Great service and great food. Nice spacious quiet rooms.

Beautiful theme suites, friendly staff in the restaurant

The hotel was not as good as I imagined due to the staff. Workers repeatedly tried to enter our hotel room without knocking or permission and when I expressed this to the manager Michele, he was very non-chalant.
Pool was nice but I would not recommend.

Truly a topper to start a well-deserved vacation. Beautiful location to leave the next day rested from Schiphol. Superb renovated rooms. Excellent beds and chairs. The drop-off service to Schiphol at 5 o'clock in the morning was excellent. Sleep well and then leave your car for another 30 days.

We also celebrate our Silver Wedding Party in this excellent hotel.
Everything, the chic decoration, the buffets, the desserts, the service, more than perfect !

Good hotel to spend the night before you go on vacation.

Okay but not so clean but for one night it was fine.

The external appearance of this huge hotel in the middle of the fields, yet also on a major highway, might not be most attractive at first. However, rooms were very spacious and we were very pleased by the way staff treated us. There s a good food option for decent prices.

If you want to stay here, please book a superior room and if you have it then book a deluxe room. I booked both but decided to go with two superior because of the connecting rooms. The only difference between the superior and the deluxe room is that the deluxe has a bath and the superior does not. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfy. The pool is very nice. The bar serves great drinks and the food in the restaurant is pretty good. It is expensive though. They have little deals on meals but I found out about that a little too late. There is also a mini-casino across the street with various food options inside as well. This hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle bus that runs every 30-40 mins. Taxi's to Amsterdam were 60 euro+ so I suggest taking the free shuttle bus to the airport, then hop on a train two stops and you'll be in Amsterdam within no time.

Great rooms, nice bathroom.

Again visited and this time the budget room. These are old rooms. Not recommended. Poor picture on TV, paneling so that you can not sit comfortably in bed. Outdated bathroom.

Breakfast buffet was absolutely fine. Very extensive choice and cozy in Christmas atmosphere.

Two night stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious with balconies and the bathrooms are very nice. The staff speak English, and some speak French too. Swimming pool, spa and gym available. Breakfast is varied!

Been there for a wedding. Room was not bad. System ceiling was ugly. Service and food was top.

Very nice hotel with excellent food. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The garden area in the back is quite pleasant for a walk.

I've only been to the restaurant. Delicious eaten. The spare ribs had a lot of meat and a delicious marinade. The souffle was also perfect.

A fantastic place to have went to accidently on purpose.

Amazing hotel, the bartender was great and spoke English very well. The restaurant has a great selection, and the breakfast presentation is unreal. A+

Receptionist was an angry lady. I seemed to take up her time and her approach ruined my view on the hotel. I also had to take 2 different elevators to get to my room.

Nice hotel. I come there on a regular basis for weddings or events. Especially in the Europazaal, which is always well cared for. Staff is super friendly and very helpful!

Just a pity that there is no direct exit from (direction) Amsterdam. Now you first have to drive past it and then back a bit.

First room we got was not really clean. We reported this to the reception. We get another similar room, but the AC was broken. This could not be remedied immediately. After reporting us again at the reception we got a suite for the nuisance. Well resolved.

The hotel is large and massive, very busy. Of course we knew this in advance. Breakfast was reasonable, we have had better at van der Valk.

The shuttle to Schiphol is ideal

Forced to stay because of snowed in flight, so didnt choose myself, but very nice

After a day at Scheveningen we had dinner here. There was a lot of choice and tasted great. The dessert was also very tasty, I had the brownie.

Sincerely, this is a wonderful hotel to sleep in! Had a delicious breakfast and nice staff, small minuses were that the bathtub and balcony were not clean, otherwise everything was fine.

Unfortunately it was not said that the sauna is closed and the pool can only be used 45 minutes a day. Breakfast / room etc. - great

Nice hotel and corona proof! We slept in the back in the renovated part. Nice and clean room. The take away breakfast was also very good. Breakfast in bed, delicious right ?! We would love to come back.

We have been here for the second time. We had a wonderful room that was clean with views of swans and other animals. The breakfast is huge and is served from 5 to 11 o'clock. The staff is very friendly ... The parking is free and a shuttle bus runs regularly to the train station. We will be back definitely!

Hotel with a great infrastructure. The standard room was large, cable TV, comfortable bed, large bathroom. However, the air conditioning in my room was not working well, it was very hot at dawn. But I believe it was only in my room, because colleagues stayed in the same hotel on the same date and it was working normally for them
Breakfast and dinner are very good, lots of options.
It has transfer to the airport.

Perfectly connected to the airport with our own shuttle service.
From there, take the train to Amsterdam. Rooms modern and nicely furnished. Breakfast rich and multinational.

Was really first class, but some deduction in the carpets, which were a bit dirty.

The food in the restaurant was good, but the rooms are old. However, it was clean.

Was there because of the Aviation Fair, an annual event for aviation enthusiasts.

I was there right after the new covid19 regulations. It was great that they managed take away dinners and a breakfast bag for in the room.
