Good to go and get away for a day or 2 fun rides and nice place to swim
It's always a blast at Valley Fair. The rides are great, and the water park is one of the better ones in Minnesota. It is a little pricey so if you plan on visiting more than once, it is smart to just go with the gold pass and meal plan. It's a really good deal. Plus, that gives you the option to go at any time you want without spending money on parking, admission, or food.
Bring a water bottle. You're going to need to stay hydrated.
Super expensive parking. Very expensive for a family of four to get past the gate for one day. High priced and less than mediocre food. However they have some really awesome rides.
Always a blast, even for someone who doesn't like roller coasters and went by himself.
We paid for the all day food passes. The water park destroyed the bands. I had the original codes on my phone. They would not replace them at all unless we walked across the park to the entrance and get them replaced.
Guest service is horrible at this place. I will never come here again. Your company has lost out on guests because of us.
Always a fun time! Lots of things to do for the entire family. Huge swimming area with a wave pool.
If was fun, but everything is very overpriced. Also, they shut down almost all the rides because there might have been rain close by.
Do this right. Go on a weekday if at all possible. Arrive 20-30 minutes before the park opens. Get parking close to the entrance without paying for VIP. And kill the minutes you arrived early by getting on sunscreen and getting through the front gate security.
Order your tickets online (through Valleyfair' s site)! Add the drink package and parking. It costs a lot less.
Bring sunscreen. Bring an extra pair of shoes/sandles even if you're not going to the water park.
And have a ton of fun! This place is great! It has rides for everyone, decent food, and a water park included with entry.
It s a good place better than Moa it has scary attractions
The best clean exciting friendly welcoming amusement park in the US. Keep up the great work. TY.
Awesome. The only place I would never go to is the burger place by subway in the park. Nasty. They had no napkins no soap in the lady's bathroom no towel's either. And this is how they "wash their tables off. They take a dry paper towels and throw the food that was on the table on the floor " I will never eat at this place even again. Horrible place.
The park is overall a very clean and fun place for families, however a lot of the workers are very rude and not helpful or friendly at all.
Excellent day! Something for everyone and every age. Food prices are outrageous though, beyond even what you'd expect. Pack a picnic and save your sanity (and money) for the rides!
You will enjoy and there is something for all ages
Rides are really good and water park is great
Don t expect Disney like theming
Food is pricey as well as not very good
Worth the money... take the Gold Pass this is really great you enjoy free parking and free entry throughout the season.. actually this pays for itself in two to three visits
Best ride is renegade and wild thing
Good Children play area is there
Half the rides where closed due to weather. Not there fault wanted us to be safe. So it was a let down.
Wish it wasn't so expensive to eat and hydrate there, but fun place
The summer parking wasn't free, was outrageous. We just turned around. Free parking should be all the time.
Our family visited ValleyFair this past weekend for the first time. We have two children (12 & 5) and our 5 year old happens to have Autism. While we had prepared as much as possible in advanced and were well aware of the very probable fact that a meltdown(s) may occur throughout our time there and the steps we needed to take in the event of one happening. Unfortunately there had been a fair bit of communication break down at one of the rides with an operator which then led to a 35 minute meltdown and lots of further miscommunication in the event of sorting it all out and a fair amount of insensitivity from a fellow ride operator. In the end the staff in Guest Services working on Sunday evening not only listened patiently but also recognized the issue and apologized profusely and were extremely courteous and sympathetic about the entire ordeal. I couldn't have asked for better outcome and am heartily grateful for the prompt response I received and definitely recommend this place for a great time and great memories to be had with your loved ones.
Rides are fun, very clean park and well staffed. The lines are a bit long but that's to be expected. This place is spendy though. 4$ for a 12 oz bottle of coke! Or 3$ for a bottle of Dasani water.
Cannot wait until next year! Valleyscare was great too!
We try to do a family trip here at least once a year. They have a good mix of rides to keep all ages entertained. Keep your eye out for deals and you can have a fun filled, value packed day.
Great time as always! Fast lane passes are the way to go!
I had a nice time. I did not get on any rides but still had a blast. The food was okay. My niece and nephew had a blast
For what it is and where it is, Valley Fair is fantastic! Several decent rides, a water park, and some really fun events throughout the year.
If you plan on going semi frequently I would definitely get a season pass but wait to buy it until the end of the year because there are some fantastic deals.
Went to vally scare it was bleh if you want to get your money's worth show up at noon so you can enjoy the rides because the scare sets they put together are pretty mehh totally not going next year.
The rides are great fun. All of them are safe and attended to well.
Amazing amusement park! Tons of rides, food selections, and attractions. It's always a treat being able to visit whenever with the Gold season pass.
Great amusement park but everything is crazy expensive.
Thank you for honoring the Veterans. Nice park with many fun rides. Is it possible to have more rides that are wheelchair accessible?
Great Amusement Park! Season passes are the way to go!
really fun rides great job on puting food stands everywear so peope can enjoy ides and food at the same time
We love going to valleyfair. Kids age 1-9. We have season passes and getting them early in the fall is the best price and totally worth the money if you go more than once since parking is included. Daily passes you have to pay almost $20 just for parking.
Great experience, not very busy during the week (we went on a beautiful Thursday during the day). Extreme Swing is my favorite ride. Power Tower was only being run by one person so it was pretty slow and inefficient. Not many people with fast passes, i could see how that could get annoying if there are many people with fast passes constantly getting in line.
Haven't been here in years, but had lot's of fun. My son and his friends had lot's of fun hope to be back in the future.
Very nice amusement park. The rides were amazing. Great for the young kids and the older kids.
While this is a place of my childhood, I was there this past weekend and was appalled with the customer service. They were very impatient and short when asked questions, and when my friend got nauseous from one of the rides, she didn't make it to the garbage because the nearest garbage was outside of the ride premises. None of the workers were kind enough to even offer her a napkin or a tissue (even though I asked for one). "The exit is over there." is what we were told. Motion sickness is very common and any decent amusement park should be prepared for it. I will not be going back anytime soon.
Really good experience lines weren't terribly long but if you're looking to ride a lot of rides and you don't have kids, I'd recommend a fast pass but still fun either way!
Great experience! I would highly recommend a season pass!
Fun place to go nice workers helped my disabled daughter with the rides.
Good place to go for rides for family n kids, plenty of rides for adults as well as for kids. Good water rides also and the best thing is ticked is valid for two entris. And there is no limit on no of rides one can take
On this particular Sunday there was not a large crowd as the temperatures were barely reaching 70. The lines were very short and it was quite an enjoyable day.
I have been going here for years. It is one of the best parks that I have been to. The experience that you will have here is great, and you are always guaranteed a good time. A great thing is that everything is essentially small hills and flat roads, making walking easier on your legs. There are a few minor things that can be improved, but they are mostly just personal preference, so I'm not gonna rant about them. Other than that, this park is great for a one day excursion if you happen to be close by.
Also, if the rumors are true, Valleyfair could be getting a new coaster in 2020, so look for signs of construction during the 2019 season.
About the same as any amusement park of it's size. Kids love it obviously. Worth season passes if you live near enough.
The rides are exciting and the food is great. Kind of on the pricy side but what to expect from a amusement park!
Best place ever! Went with my brother and always have a good time!
Awesome place for the family. Lots of rides and lots of food variety.
Really fun park, its got affordable season passes for frequent visitors like me and my family and good service. The food is tasty (if you dont consider the price) and the water park is super fun! Has a bike rack which is very important to me because I bike everywhere I go in town and the rides are great! They have a variety of different rides from kid rides that are great for the younger visitors to extreme roller coasters that cater more towards teenagers and adults. Overall if your in Minnesota and have the time, check this place out, you wont regret it!
Best amusement park in Minnesota. Some great coasters and the best you'll find near the Twin Cities.
Very fun, only complaint is that the rides are not made for plus size people. Many rides were difficult to get even sit in let alone get buckled, making it embarrassing and almost not worth spending the money. Tickets were kinda spendy ($55) plus the parking pass($17) make sure to order ahead online its saves you some money! Some park guests are rude and will pretty much run you over. Overall it was a great day, cant wait to go back.
I have always had a good time whenever I got to go to Valleyfair. Though there is not as many roller coasters as its sister parks, the roller coasters are still all exciting (Even for younger coaster enthusiasts). The food can be a bit expensive, but it is an amusement park, and the majority of the amusement parks I have been to have roughly the same price range for food (3-8 dollars). The wait times for every ride really all depends on the popularity of the ride, what time of the day/week it is, and weather conditions. All-in-all, Valleyfair is a great amusement park, though sometimes underrated, it has great rides and nice staff. Every time I go there, I get great memories that I will most likely remember for probably the rest of my life.
Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for one ride during Valleyscare and paid over $100 for two tickets it was not worth it too expensive the ride wait was too long in addition fast passes can b purchased for which makes it an even longer wait not recommended during Valleyscare time
Great place to bring kids. But is slo service with food.
Vallyscare has been a great family tradition for my for many years. I love it there.
This place is super amazing. A great place for the entire family to enjoy. If someone isn't much of a thrill seeker then the water park is also available. My 7 year old son was able to go one almost every ride available besides 3 of them. Being able to save money purchasing your admission online is also a great advantage. The only thing on the down side is the dining establishments are very expensive.
