Amazing amusement park with awesome rides for all ages and a great water park with some great slides.
I have been going to Valleyfair since I was about 4 years old and I have gone every year since. I highly suggest you come check out this park and enjoy the rides everybody is friendly. The water park is super fun.
Love Valleyfair take the kids here every year. Great place for all ages!
Very pricey and parking costs $18 (why?!), but otherwise very fun! Bring your own food to save some money!
This place hold a LOT of great memories for me, and my family. I really miss this place always a great time
Fun aand exciting Im from florida and this place blows my fair outa the water and this isnt eveen the state fair.
A spectacular day for the whole family. The rides are fantastic and the lines on weekdays move quickly. Bring a change of clothes if you plan on doing any water rides. You will get wet! The water park is a nice touch for hot days. I wish there were some more healthy options for food.
Fun, clean, and rides for almost all ages. 5/5 stars because I really love fast rides and this park has a lot of them! It can get busy later in the season when it's hot and the water park is open, but if you go on a day where the weather is a little cooler or right when the season starts, then the parks is pretty empty and you don't have to wait in lines for a long time.
Rides are fun. Food is overpriced and there is trash on the ground EVERYWHERE. People look happy.
The whole family had a great time. Souvenir cup with free refills was an excellent value
Pretty dated as of now. Some fresh paint on old rides doesn't hide the fact that the park needs a serious update. Food prices were insane. $16 for a chicken strip basket with soda. $15 for a 6 inch sub at subway.....Stay all day and do your own picnic lunch, that would be more fun anyway. If you've never been there it will be fun. If you've been before- you will be disappointed.
Great place for the kids and adults, I spent most of my time riding the train and antique cars with my 2 year old, while the other kids road the big rides, they had a great time. There's plenty of security there and it's still a great place for a day off fun.
Took my nieces here to celebrate one of their birthdays. Had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it however there are inconsistency with the ways workers were measuring their heights. One worker even went as far as saying that kids shrink during the day ... apparently one of my niece couldnt go on the mad mouse because she shrunk during the day (after she had already gone on the ride twice).
Roller coster, roller coster, food... service is kind of slow, lines are sometimes long.
Always fun but prices for everything seems outrageous. Almost 20 to park at the park then 50 bucks per ticket, then your spending 20 more food and water at the park if you there for half a day. And this is all for just one person. Not as fun as when I was a kid. You actually had memories now there's just regret.
Good for all ages. Lots for kids to ride if they are 42" or taller.
We spent the whole evening in the area for younger children, and our kids (ages 5 and 3) had a blast! We weren't expecting to have such a great time, but the kids were tall enough for most rides in that area (sometimes an adult had to ride with the 3 year old). The only one who didn't care about it was the one year old, but it was expected.
Fun, and many things to do, some long lines though, and food is very expensive.
Nice amusement park. Lines for the roller coasters weren't too long. Food pricey, but to be expected.
Valley Fair is an overall fun place. I heavily enjoy most of the rides escpecially the water ones. While the rides and people watching are excellent the price and lines are atrocious. Even for patient people the lines are a tad long. Along with that the food is mediocre at best while being very expensive.
If you bought a season pass AND went to the park opening weekend (Sat/Sun), your pass has a FREE fast lane pass loaded on it!
We went to pick up season passes. Due to weather, the office was closed. We called their customer service number and they were very helpful!
A really fun get away from life at home. If you have a season pass, there's free parking and discounts at a lot of the restaurants, which makes it worth getting one! They're always adding new rides, and overall the whole park is clean with friendly workers.
I haven't been to this park in almost 15 years but have been purchasing season passes for my kids for many years. The one thing I noticed consistently was that the attendants would run the rides without them ever being full while many people waited in line. I believe that is to force people to purchase the 'fast pass' which I understand is an additional $55.00. The food prices were also absolutely ridiculous!! While I understand these places make their money off the food and drink purchases, I felt absolutely gouged!! I don't know how a family can go there and not spend as much as their house payment. I was looking forward to taking my grandchildren there this year or next, but I doubt that will be possible.
Oh and not to mention the parking is now $15.00. REALLY?? And I was going to put my bag in a locker when going on a water ride but not for $15.00!!
The place seemed very clean and the staff seemed friendly but I wasn't very happy when I was already on a ride and was told you that I couldn't have my bag and had to unbuckle the already difficult seatbelt to get out and put my bag on the ground where someone walking by could easily 'pick it up.' It would have been nice for them to tell me that before I got situated. Maybe they could make an announcement? It will be awhile before I go back, probably another 15 years.
Long lines and short rides. They sell alot of tickets.
Have been coming here since I was a kid. They have pretty average, but fun rides and coasters. The water park is great, with the addition of the new waterslides.
On this last visit I went to Valleyscare. It's pretty fun, but nothing too scary. They decorate the park pretty well! Expect long lines for EVERYTHING on Valleyscare nights.
So much fun! I love coming here. So many rides for so many people. Can't wait to go again.
There are bugs EVERYWHERE I couldn t even blink without a bug going in my eyes and 99% of the time I was swatting away flies please fix that problem . A lot of the rides break down and take forever to fix .why is there trash cans everywhere there s trash cans outlining the whole park for every Bench there s a trash cans which attract bugs so where ever I sit there s bugs surrounding it . The food it very over priced and not even that good . The rides are very short but the line takes for ever .
Great fun, a bit spendy but its worth it, if you go on a weekday the lines are shorter, maje sure you carpool if possible because you have to pay for parking, and get the drink and food pass because it will save you a lot of money.
Find a weekday without a line and this place really shines. The food and drinks are obviously crazy expensive, but the entrance ticket is reasonable. The layout create A LOT of walking, be prepared for that. Tons of bathrooms and drinking fountains though, bring a water bottle.
Don't buy the all day dining! You get an entree and side every 90 minutes and only one snack all day but they limit what you get for entrees. No cheese curds and they cost $20! It may be good if that's all you do is eatl! The $12 drinks all day are worth it if you share. We had to wait an hour or more each ride. Labor Day weekend was a bad time to go!
Great place for kids and adults. Something for everyone to do! Bring food from home because it is a little spendy
The Power Tower and the Wild Thing were superb! Excellent day. Very fun and exciting
Very clean! The price to get in & parking is high. The prices for food & beverage are awful. Pack food & drink & leave it in your vehicle in a cooler. You can bring an unopened bottle of water in.
Good place for KIDS! The grounds are clean, rides are fun, staff is friendly & the water park is a hit! I love that they have adult beverages ;)
We had a great time there. A lot of rides, so you never get bored. We went on the weekend, even after being crowded, the lines were not that bad and the staff amazingly handled the crowd. Random shows around the park were interesting to watch. Although the food is expensive, the funnel cake is a much try at the park!
Food is ridiculously expensive! The rides and water park are awesome though!
Went there twice a long time back. Too bad about the covod, Joe.
Long lines for the rides. The food was good. Some of the soda machines did not work properly. Overall a decent experience!
Great amusement park with rides for all ages! Tip: Order your tickets online and save $$. Also, seriously consider the unlimited beverage option when prepaying for your ticket online (especially if your bringing teenagers)!
You can get lost quite easily if you haven't been there before so warning to those people. The rides and everyelse are great though if your looking for a thrill your certainly going to get it. Its perfect for younger kids as well and parents can have time for themselves as well. The only other problem that I have is the limitations when it comes to what your wearing and some rides don't have specific safe places for your stuff. It's quite fun though as long as your okay with walking for long periods of time.
I like this place, some of the rides are looking a little rundown. The pricing here is a little gamy. You have to buy online to get a good price, and if you order from Valley Fairs website expect to pay some hidden fees. $18 for parking? C'mon people ..
This used to be a great place to go, no matter your age. But $56 per person plus another $15 for parking (in the back, otherwise more for a "preferred" spot) is just ridiculous. And rush lines were only made to make an extra buck, so on top of waiting 2 hours for a ride, you get the joy of watching people who have the money to blow walk right past all of you. Not recommended unless you have all day.
Water park is great on a hot day! Bring water bottles, they have free filling spots.
We go on weekdays and it's not too crowded. It's a great family place. They have ample places to sit. I was worried that Soak City would be overcrowded, but I haven't experienced that yet. Avoiding weekends might help with all of that. It has taken a while to get food though. I haven't experienced amazing food service yet.
The family fun land awesome place food, rides, water park amazing very costly bnb but fun.
Small amusement park but well run with good variety of food, games and rides. Admission includes access to small watermark as well. Theming is based around local artist who penned Peanuts among other local Minnesotan lore. Good stopping point for locals or day stop from cross country road trip after crossing great plains.
It was awesome! Love the rides and waterpark! Wish the queue was shorter and the things there weren't as spendy.
Too crowded. Too expensive. But it's better than nothing.
So many fun rides for little kids, big kids, and adults. Great experience for the whole family.
3 year old loves it here. Lots to do, lines are not bad during the week.
Absolutely amazing, reccomended no matter what, amazing rides, just overpriced food and hats, but other than that, and with that, totally worth it.
Would never go on a weekend but any other day, great entertainment with a very nice water park.
Great place to celebrate a birthday with grandchildren.
A lot of fun, the "fast lane" pass is a must if you will only be going once a year, you'll be able to get on every ride with minimal wait and even a couple water slides faster.
A good place to spend quality time with family. Recreational activity for each group.
Great deals with gold pass and meal plans, clean and fun
I AM LIVID
I lost my phone here 2 months ago & I called EVERY DAY for 2 weeks to see if they had found it. They said they had not. THEN a month later i get a message from the security gaurd saying they found it and would mail it to me. So two weeks ago I get a call saying that they didnt mail it and had no intention to. They said i have 2 weeks to get it. Its a week and a half later and I call them and say im coming in to get it. They inform me that they threw everything out on the 5th. So they told me I had 2 weeks and then didnt even call me to say that i have to come up today. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
I was so disgusted. Growing up and raised in Minnesota I've visited valley Fair so many times in my life. The outcome of taking my son who is 2 to this fair was a horrible experience. The workers were rude and hateful. Just because I am a different race you should not treat me poorly. We went into a restaurant near the arcade area as we were passing by to go in one of the worker was taking out trash and accidentally hit my 2 year old it startled him and hurted him as he cried loudly. She did nothing but walked away. I'm sure if I was white like she was she wouldn't hesitate to say sorry. She did not say sorry at all even after I called her our for being rude. Atleast apologize it's not that hard. This is what you so called Minnesota nice? Or so called customer service skills ? I will not recommend valley Fair to anyone no more as I also had taken my friends who is from California to experience this as they saw what happen to my son they really thought poorly of us Minnesotans.
It's ok but one of the associates at looping starship made my day he was out going polite and kind
