I recently experienced the best service a customer could ask for from Valley Imports. Tana and Jeff stepped up and helped me out with a situation I had on my Audi. I am now a Valley Imports Customer for Life and I can not wait to tell my family and friends about the level of care they provide for their customers!

We made an appointment and were constantly left unattended. The "deal" which was no deal at all...took nearly 5-hours to complete. They would not come down 1-penny on the price of the new vehicle nor give us 1-penny more for our trade, even though it was valued much higher under KBB. When we asked for a VW coffee mug the salesman called us "greedy!" We purchase 1-3 vehicles per year and this was THE worst car buying experience ever. We tried to put this all behind us and actually inquired about another vehicle from them and we not only got a cold response their General Manager actually mocked us in an email for being Christians! Very rude and inconsiderate people at this "dealership." We went to Westlie Ford in Minot,ND and not only did they treat us with fairness and respect they also lowered the price of our new vehicle nearly $5,000.00! We didn't walk away feeling like we had been cheated at a fixed poker game like when we left Valley Imports...

Every time I bring one of my two vehicles here, everyone is so friendly and helpful! I ve had experiences with 3 different service advisors and they are all so kind, patient, and thorough. They always share a video inspection of the underside of your vehicle. The service technician introduces himself and is very thorough in explaining exactly what you are looking at. A very nice touch so you can see what they are talking about and you don t have to wonder whether a repair really needs to be made. They are great about explaining any service work that needs to be done or if there is anything they find that might need repair/replacement in the future. They offer shuttle service, always greet you with a smile and you are given a detailed print out of the services performed, the inspection of your vehicle and any suggestions or repairs that are needed. I enjoy bringing my cars in for service at Valley Imports, they make the experience pleasant and easy! Customer service is always top notch!!

I had a great experience getting my oil changed, even in the midst of a Pandemic. I'm moving and had already put it off for 2 months, so I was trying to avoid going during this COVID situation, but it was unavoidable. Valley Imports handled the process very well, even amidst social distancing. They mostly communicated with me through text and email to limit our contact, which I actually preferred. Also, they sent me a video of the inspection and a detailed report. This level of detail and care is excellent, and I appreciate how hard they work to communicate. I'm often nervous to take my car in because I'm afraid the costs will add up and I'll be uncomfortable, but my representative Levi was great and really helped outline costs for today and then future work to properly maintain my car. If anything, they over communicated, which I'm actually very happy with, since I've had other experiences at a different shop where I didn't feel informed about the work and costs. The use of technology and level of professionalism is unmatched.

Really great place to purchase a new or used vehicle. Joe stepped me through the process and I had so few questions and never felt pressured to buy from him or Valley Imports. The fact is, why wouldn't you. They have a beautiful showroom and garage. You leave with prizes and treats and oil changes. Yay! I absolutely loved this experience.

Beyond belief - GREAT! Only 4 degrees on 1/17/17 ...

Beyond belief - GREAT! Only 4 degrees on 1/17/17 as we were passing thought (nothing for Fargo..) but our 2012 MB Sprinter wouldn't start that morning. Had it towed to Valley. They took it right in (on a busy morning), checked out the battery and fuses and a few other things. Three guys looking it over. After 20 minutes: problem solved (the starter was frozen from driving in winter fog the night before. Started right up. They noted the coolant was a tad low - topped that off. And the bill for their work? I don't want to say because if they did what they did for us for everyone at what the charged us (or, really, what they didn't charge us), they would be out of business in a matter of days :). MB repair shops are few and far between. I would travel many hundreds of miles to have our sprinter serviced right here. Can't say enough good about this place.

Erik Swenson is legit!!! By far the best buying experience I've ever had! I was dreading car shopping because of the fast-talking, high-pressure sales people I've dealt with before. But Erik was super chill, fun, and helpful! I test drove a couple cars, and he was great about explaining the different options and running numbers on leases for me. When I picked up my car, he walked me through every single feature and helped me set up the Bluetooth. This dude's a total pro! I've been nothing but pumped since driving off the lot! Absolutely love my new car!

The issue with my vehicle went back over a year. I tried to fix it myself, brought to another garage, they couldn't find the source of the issue, my last hope before just getting rid of the car was to bring it here. Valley imports and the technician who worked on my car, found the source and fixed my car and got it running better than I have ever had it running. I may think they are a little overpriced, but fixing my issue is well worth the money I spent. The only issue I had is I had to call in to find out what was going on with my vehicle, which was a little annoying. All in all, am pleased beyond pleased at the work they did!

The 40k and 50k oil changes left me less than impressed and the 3 recalls I had addressed in March were not getting resolved. Josh and Brian went abive and beyond to rectify the issues and I was very impressed with their attention to the matter and how quickly it was resolved. I went from incredibly frustrated to pleasantly satisfied. Plus I got to drive an Audi for the day.

Absolutely horrible.

I brought my car to be serviced (oil change, to run diagnostics for a dash light, and to check for a boost leak) and asked how long it would be, was told a couple hours so I had their car service drop me off at home. After an hour I called back to cancel the diagnostic test but was told they just started it, so that was fine. I waited another 3 hours (was told it would take 2 hours and it had been 4 hours at this point) before I finally called them myself since I had not gotten a call yet. Was told they were just finishing up with the diagnostics and I could come get the car... I know a diagnostic check does not take anywhere near 3 hours, so either they had not actually started it when I called earlier (but wanted to make money off doing it anyway) or they forgot to call me when the car was done. And to top it all off they said they would call me after looking into the boost leak some more, which they never did. Do not recommend going there for any type of service.

I am an auto enthusiast from way back, as one tends to be when raised in Indianapolis and having lived within "earshot" of both the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Indianapolis Raceway Park (home of the US National Drags every Labor Day) at various times in my life. As Valley Imports handles all the imports that matter to me- AMG Benz, RS/S Audi, Porsche, R/GTI VW, and the Mitsu EVO, I drop by occasionally as a part of my hip replacement recovery walks to see the sights and drool/daydream over the exotic rolling stock. Even though it is quite apparent that I am not fortunate enough to have the wherewithal to purchase any of those dream rides save perhaps the EVO, the management, sales professionals, and service staff are unfailingly polite, generous with their knowledge and printed matter, and if not busy dealing with paying customers always take the time to make me feel welcome and a part of the German auto fanbase... my desire for a Phantom black EVO MR notwithstanding. Never have I been ignored or brushed off as just a "looky-loo", and should those Powerball numbers come through for me, or I clear enough debt to snag that EVO, I know that I will be welcomed at Valley Imports as always. I highly recommend them for their friendly, courteous, and welcoming atmosphere, their well-informed staff, and a set of showrooms closely resembling a fine auto museum.

I'm not sure how the service is when buying a car here but I bought a used 2006 volkswagon and it needed a recall fixed. I called and made an appt no problem. The only issue I had was I made a 10 30 appt and still had to wait a long time just to get in. Michelle has the best customer service! Was really impressed since I wasn't paying for any of their services. They found a few minor things wrong with my car but outlined the important ones and than the less important ones. They didn't exaggerate to get my business and they weren't pushy either. Because of that, I'll be giving them some actual business. Michelle was good and my courtesy driver John was friendly. All around good experience in the parts area.

Our sales person and the person going over the sale were great. Not impressed with the one who test drove our trade in. He was quite rude when talking with him. Like he could care less if we bought anything from the dealership. Plus our key was not 100% functional. We had no idea if the oil change was done. There was no information given when asked. Not very impressed!

I was very pleased with the customer service I received from Kevin Duenwald. He did not try to make a hard sale on me. In fact, he told me that if I was willing to wait a little while he could set me up with exactly what I was looking for. He did just that- he found me a great Mercedes ML 350 that was certified and in excellent condition. I would recommend his services to anyone. He is good at what he does, but he is also very trustworthy. That goes a long ways in the sales industry. Thank you, Kevin. I am really enjoying my new car.

The worst auto services experience ever. They are nice people, but services is so dum, no report of their checks to tell what is good what is bad or ugly. They suppose to make the basic inspection points, I am sure, they didn't do it at all, as I know the light bulbs is broken for sure, they just said it is perfect. I called them to send me the check report, the manager promised to send it via my email and she didn't send anything. They inspect one thing for $160 which is appreciated, but , their parts and repairing cost is very pricey.

All of the staff that we interacted with were very helpful with the process and made our car purchase experience very easy. The Audi was due for it's regular oil change. This is my commuter car and I put on around 100 miles daily. I usually bring it in for oil changes every 5,000 miles. I schedule my appointments online which is really easy. Customer service is always top notch. Although I bought the car used, Valley Imports sold this car brand new and has done all the regular service on this car since. They have always done a great job for me. I really like the quick video that the technician does when they inspect the car during each visit. It really keeps you in tune with what is going on with your car and any issues. Thanks

I don't believe i will be purchasing any more vehicles from them. There service department is amazing and has always done a great job. I felt judged and rushed by the short staffed sales team. when I purchased my Porsche last year the team was so much better and made me feel welcome as a customer.

I had major warranty work performed on my Mercedes...

I had major warranty work performed on my Mercedes Sprinter`s DEF system. As the repairs dragged out over a weekend due to being unable to get approval from Germany to peform the work I was told I would be reimbursed for a rental car as my home is over 500 miles from Fargo. If correspendence with Germany had not dragged on for 20 hours I would have been able to have my vehicle back on a Friday and would not have had to stay in Fargo the extra weekend. I have asked about this rental car reimbursement at Valley Imports and Mercedes Benz and never get any response. This vehicle has had 4 major warranty repairs in 12,000 miles including both NOx sensors, the accerator pedal, and a check engine light that has been on pretty much all the time for two years in addition to the recently replaced DEF system. I bought the vehicle new in 2016. Mercedes and Valley need to stand behind their vehicles and not leave customers twisting in the wind while they carry on conversations over ten time zones for warranty work to correct major manufacturing defects.

I have been test driving several cars and have not been totally satisfied with any of them. I had an Audi and wanted a good road car that was economical fuel wise and had good service. I went to Valley Imports Inc. website and found a couple cars that interested me. I sent an e-mail to the dealership on Thanksgiving morning and Erik Swenson texted me back late Thanksgiving night that they had a car in a color that interested me. I texted him early Friday morning and told him I would be heading down to test drive the car. He rushed to get it detailed and ready. He was very friendly when I arrived at the dealership and the car was ready to test. Erik Swenson asked for the finance information to get the financial end started. In less than 1 1/2 hours, I arrived, test drove the car, was given a thorough explanation of how everything worked, signed the paperwork and drove home with a new car. The trade in value for my old car was fair and the new car has far exceeded my expectations. Thanks Erik and Chris who made this such an easy, enjoyable experience. I would strongly recommend this dealership and Erik Swenson to anyone who is considering purchasing a new car.

I have never left a review before, but in this case thought it necessary. I am a previous customer as I bought my last car from them. I looked at and test drove a vehicle there last week, the salesman I spoke with took down my info and told me I d hear from him within an hour about trade in value. It is now a week later and never heard back. I called three days later to inquire about it and was told there were no notes from my visit but that they would take my info and call me back that day. It has been three days and still haven t heard anything. Because of this they lost my business and I bought the same vehicle from another dealership.

Had a very good experience buying a car here. They were very upfront and competitively priced. Maintenance shop has always been quick and professional. No complaints!

The facility is clean with a new remodel recently. Plenty of space. They pull the car in if it is cold and you want to look at it. Sales staff is polite and professional.

Maintenance is a bit pricey, but any dealer is. I have not had any issues with them.

Scheduled repair work 9am-12pm. Work wasn't done at noon. There was no one in the shop to finish it up because the whole shop closes at noon for an hour so even if they are 5 minutes away from being done the customer gets to wait another hour. I realize auto repair doesn't always go as expected but then Valley Service shouldn't provide a schedule they can't keep. Had they been clear, we would've dropped off the car and left it; planned very differently. *Addendum* just went to change spark plugs on same car. Tech broke the release mechanism on spark plug wire on #2 cylinder so now I get to fight with that. I know all 6 were good prior because I changed #6 ignition coil less than a week before I found out there was a recall on them. I checked connections on all 6 when I did that.

My 1 hrs appointment at 1130 did not go well. I had a lunch appointment. I asked for transportation and was told he would be there in 10 minute s. It took 30 minutes of course I was late for my lunch appointment .
I returned at 1pm to find my car in the same place I had parked it When I arrived. I left the dealership at 2pm. The car had not been washed as promised and the message on the car said to replace key fob battery. I live 2 hrs from the dealership. Very unhappy poor customer service. Don't go there unless you have a whole day to devote to a 1 hour appointment

We've brought our Porsche Cayenne for service to Valley Imports on a few occasions and have always been completely blown away by the amazing service and quality of work. We've always worked with Cory to determine what needs to be serviced and he's always been completely honest and has very good communication throughout the entire process. I can honestly say that I've never had such a great experience anywhere else. When you leave your car at Valley Imports with Cory, it always feels like your vehicle is in great hands and it comes back with a pristine wash and shine. I'd definitely recommend anyone working with Cory Burkhardt in the future!

I brought my VW Tiguan in for service after there was a cut in the sidewall of one of my tires and it had an unfixable leak. I did not have an appointment but Brian helped me out right away. With no tire in stock but one being overnighted I was given a very nice loaner for the night. It was great to be able to get my car fixed and not have to miss work or rearrange my schedule. The customer service that Brian and the whole staff I worked with was exceptional. I will definitely bring my car there for service again in the future.

Must have been an off day. Get a call saying that I was given the wrong car as my wife is there telling them that her car was the one sitting there. Recieved another person's receipts in my email today. Came home for lunch today and noticed a decent size oil spot on my concrete. Called the wife to check her parking spot @ work & oil there also. They did give me the oil change for free & then went and picked up the car today to fix the leak. We will go back next time but if it was anything like this experience it will be the last.

I brought my car here to be serviced. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming. The oil change included a car wash and inspection. I even received a text link to a video walk through of the inspection...really cool! They truly offer premier service.
The sales staff was incredible, as well. I was interested in a few vehicles on the lot, and they were happy to answer all my questions.
I will definitely return here for my vehicle service needs!

BEWARE OF FRAUD!!!! This dealer is posing to be an...

BEWARE OF FRAUD!!!! This dealer is posing to be an Audi/Porsche/Mercedes/VW dealer, but the service department DOES NOT KNOW anything about these vehicles. I was scammed into paying for something I didn't need and nearly destroyed my car!!! MAJOR IMBECILES AT WORK!!!!!

Brought 2010 Audi A4 and asked to check if the oil was overfull due to vehicle slightly smoking, and the way Audi designed - it has no dipstick for average driver to perform this task. When I came in I had to deal with Brian, who I asked to check the oil level. He said that he can not check it with a dip stick, but the oil level is good on the dash info panel. Then, after he lifted the engine cover, he said it was the oil breather valve that needs to be replaced and that will fix the issue. When I came back to pickup my vehicle, Brian stated that he took it out on the freeway and it started stalling on him. After I picked up the vehicle, I could not believe how bad it was smoking like it was on fire, as well as the engine misfiring, spitting fire from exhaust and stalling. I called Brian right away and notified him of what was happening and he stated that "due to bad breather valve that we replaced, most likely there's a lot of oil that needs to get out of breather tubes like intercooler etc.., so you just have to drive it off."
I barely made 2 blocks with smoke and fire behind me so bad that I had to find a safe place for this vehicle to park. The spitting fire was so bad that it took off particles and chunks of the catalytic converter.

I had to find a company to tow it to the licensed Audi dealer in St.Paul, MN. Sean at that St. Paul location quickly determined it was nearly 4 QUARTS OF OIL OVER FULL.
They drained and changed the overfull oil and the vehicle drove off fine. Audi of St. Paul also offered me a 12 month warranty on engine seals just in case they went bad.

Called several times to Valley Imports to speak with GM to address this problem and got ignored, finally got Service manager Steve who backed up Brian for any wrong doing. By that time those two have already had a conversation regarding the issue and Brian had LIED about telling me to "drive the oil off" which shows their true colors. They left me with NO choice but to leave this rating.

They could have killed the Engine on this Audi due to Valley Import's ignorance and negligence.

Worst experience with a dealership ever. Worst service, worst oil changes, and worst customer support. They could care less after you leave the lot with a new car. I have never even been contacted how my vehicle is running. I have called service with issues and they just say oh yeah that's normal...no you just don't like doing warranty work.

I was supposed to get $200 for referring my friend. Well 8 months later nothing. From emails with the salesman it seems he just took the money. Do yourself a favor and visit a dealer in Bismarck or St. Cloud. He will never be back as well.

I brought my car in for 30k service and left with a check engine light on. I called them to get it in and basically it was on me to find transportation and deal with the inconveniences. They said they would call me back, well that was 3 days ago. Never will I return.

We were so close on buying an new VW Atlas but the last visit burnt the bridge. I cannot stand the salesman, or how they treated us. We took our business elsewhere and couldn't be happier. Save yourself the long term headache and fustration and drive the extra distance to another import dealer.

I feel completely taken advantage of when I went in for a simple oil change, and walked out with just that, a simple oil change which cost over $300. I guess that's why they don't advertise that service. I will never go back there for any service.

2 weeks later- Changing my review from 1 to 3. Received a credit back for the difference between a "basic service" and the oil change I requested. I appreciated the credit back, but still don't have any idea what I got charged for and what I received.

I went in to purchase a Porsche, it cost roughly around $97,000 which wasn't the issue. I was ready to put down $73,000. When I asked if I could check the inside of the car and possibly test drive it, the salesman replied with "you're not going to buy it, so why would you put miles on it". I felt as if they judged me based off my appearance. So I went to my car, pulled out the cash. The salesman insisted that I take it for a drive. I refused. I went to FFFisher and ended up buying a lexus es350 for 60k. I'm happy with my purchase. Never again will I step foot in that dealerships lot.
