I never do reviews ever... but i had to do one for this... Got scheduled for service on a saturday and when i arrived they told me that they didnt have any mercedes benz mechanics on weekends... thats only one of many. worst service both times i went...
I had an issue where they could have lied and charged me more, but they did honest work for a fair price. Much appreciated.

I went to Valley Imports for a few years to service multiple cars. They fixed a pano roof leak in my VW, did multiple tire swaps on my Infiniti, and have very knowledgeable folks in both Service and Parts. Michelle and John in Service are great, always keeping me updated with progress and getting nice loaner cars while they did work.
I recently moved to Denver and brought my winter tires in to a new shop - they discovered that the bead was blown out (presumably, from Valley Imports when they removed?). I was worried about having to pay for a new tire when i know it wasn't something i did. Valley Imports made it right and covered the cost of the tire.
Best shop in Fargo - they even store your winter tires!

Sold me a vehicle with few thousand dollars of repairs needed. Tires completely worn on the inside due to alignment. Brakes warped. One of the pumps leaking. And a bad timing chain tensioner which they did end up fixing but kept the car for a month to get it done due to complications which would have been ok if they at east kept me updated on what was going on but I had to keep calling for updates. If you are buying used make sure you get a pre purchase inspection or go elsewhere.

They're honest and really care about making the experience as comfortable and as simple as possible. I recommend everyone to stay away from Valley Imports if you are buying used. Purchased a newer car with very low miles. A few months down the road, I get an error stating that the car will not start after 300 miles. Bring it in because I purchased a new car to avoid these issues. They offered me 33% less than what I bought it for and will only take a trade-in. I literally purchased the car from Valley Imports just a few months ago. The excuse they use for this is "Well, this is what the car is being sold and bought for at the moment". Just a few moments ago, you sold me the car for 33% more than that, so I find it hard to believe.
I recently purchased a new Volkswagen from Valley Imports and couldn't be happier with the experience. Valley Imports didn't have the specific vehicle on the lot that I wanted (model/color/options) so Kristin and Erik went out of their way to find the vehicle and delivered it to Fargo for me. The purchasing process was streamlined and straight forward without hidden fees or excess pressure to purchase accessories, service plans, or warranty. I received the exact vehicle I was looking for and at a fair price.
I personally don't enjoy shopping for or buying new vehicles but Valley Imports made it as enjoyable and seamless as possible.

I brought my Mercedes sl 320 In because I have a light on on my dash board. I thought the computer needed to be reset because of what I read online. But that was not the problem, it cost me $417.00 to figure out why the light was on. I am happy that valley found out what the problem was as I had it to two different shops who could not help. I was upset but when I visited with my service advisor but he explained why it cost so much to diagnose the problem. I still feel that $417.00 is excessive for diagnosing a light on the dash but oh well I guess that s why Mercedes are a rich mans vehicle. The reason for the three stars is because of the grease on my center counsel and side of my passenger seat, I am assuming the mechanic picked up the grease when he manually removed my hard top even though he did not have to remove it manually, there is lots of grease around that area. The roof works as it should as I stated when I dropped off the car there was no need to manually remove the roof. There was dielectric grease on my passenger seat cushion I am assuming from when the mechanic removed the roof module from behind the passenger seat. I came from Bismarck and was wasting time in Fargo I dropped the car off at 10:20 A.M. and came back at 2:30 PM the car was done but I never received a call. The other shops did not have the computer needed to hook up the computer I believe it is called the STAR computer that is why I traveled 3 hours to have a dealership look at the car. After the mechanic retrieved the codes instead of trying the module that valley had He kept trying to find open grounds??? and then tried valleys module and it worked as it should. so after paying $417.00 to diagnose a warning light and everything I went through I think 3 stars is more than fair! after diagnosing the problem I was asked if I wanted a carwash, I figured why not. The employee who ran my car through left the car on with the radio on, so on top of it all I now have no antenna on my car. Valley does not have those in stock I was asked if I wanted to come back and have it repaired when they got one in, there are supposed to mail one to me, but I will believe it when I see it.
I had the pleasure of working with Kathleen at Valley Imports. I am in the early stages of looking at buying a new car. Kathleen asked me alot of questions of what I would like in my new car. I test drove a couple and after looking at my finances, I've decided to wait for a little while.
Kathleen was so knowledgeable, and made me feel totally comfortable with the process. She wasn't pushing me into anything I didn't want or couldn't afford. I really respect that and when I am ready to buy that car, Valley Imports will be my first stop.

Sales team did a great job (March 2013) until I went to actually purchase the car. The VW dealer in MN was over 3k cheaper than the ND dealer (Partially due to costco discount(500),rebate diffrence (500) partially due to price (2k)) and the ND dealer wouldn't adjust down to meet their price. I ended up going to MN. SO Glad I did. April 2014 I had a problem with the DEF tank heater and the one here couldn't find the problem. I went to MN they found and fixed it same day. Just doesn't seem to be a very good dealership overall.
I highly recommend this place, I have been visiting this location almost more than a year the service is excellent and they have lovely beautiful lounge where you can relax.

I locked my keys in my car and called into Valley imports. My wallet, any form of ID (passport, passport card, birth certificate) were in my car from a recent trip. I was told from a different dealer I was going to have to pay for an entire new set costing almost $200. Tyler in the parts department was amazing. He asked me to bring in proof of title and any type/form of ID I could. He got me the key code and explained where Kurt s was to get just a key cut all within an hour and for very cheap. He was so so helpful and kind! 5 stars are for Tyler.

Moved to ND from Oregon. old by the DMV that I needed to have my cars appraised by a dealer, and since they are VWs I went there. First time the used car manager told me they didn't want to do that because it could only cause trouble with the DMV.
I told the DMV what they said, and they told me that VM is required to do the appraisal. Went back and I was snapped at by the used car manager: "I told you we don't do appraisals!"
I told them the DMV said they are required to by ND law. I got the appraisal, but I will not ever go back. Not even to buy parts. I had a very good relationship with the dealer in Corvallis, OR. I have owned 5 VWs. These people are so bad that I will drive to Minneapolis the next time I buy a VW.
Bought a new Mitsubishi from Tim at Valley Imports. This was absolutely the best car buying experience we have ever had. Tim was wonderful. He had all the vehicles that we had expressed an interest in ready for us to view and test drive when we arrived. We very much appreciated his respect for our time being we had traveled a few hours to get the best deal we could at Valley Imports.

I am happy but not completely satisfied. I traveled from Minot to drop my car off with the undersatnding it my take 2 days to complete only to find out that the tech does not work on Friday and Sat. There was no loner vehicle available so that left me to scramble to find a ride back to Minot. When i planned to pick my car up i was told the day prior that theier was some other issues and this is after 2 to 3 weeks of my car being there. I caught the train to Fargo and arrived at my car ar 5am. I was happy to see that everything was as planned. But all in all I can't say much else. The service tech kept me informed and the video text was super cool. Maybe if i had bought my car there i would have gotten the 5 star treatment.
I stopped into a Porsche dealership to get a washer blade and felt a bit elite, however that was Texas.
After reading Valley Imports review i realized i got the dates mixed up and that is what caused my confusion. The guys and gals at valley imports did all they could for me and they did take care of the recalls very quick. As for the engine mounts, well stuff happens beyond our control. I trust that when i drop off the car for that repair it will get done to a high standard.
