This 2nd row home was perfect for our 2 families. A 3 minute walk to the beach! The Vacation Company was incredibly thorough and quickly responsive to any of our needs. The house layout is great and there was just enough communal areas and private areas for our group of 11. Thr kitchen was well appointed and had high end appliances. We could walk to South Beach/Salty dog in 5 minutes and Harbor Town and Coligny were a half hour bike on the trails. We loved the outdoor seating area off the dining room - from our morning coffee to our happy hours! We have been coming to HHI for many years and we would love to stay at 1 Black Suck again

Overall, a good experience with prompt responses from the management company. In re: the house, there are some misrepresentations: indicated house remodeled/refurbished, we found the furniture to be old and well worn and dirty. Stated a pool and spa is available, reality is that they would not start the spa without you paying a large fee to heat it, all we wanted was the bubbles on for the kids to enjoy so a major disappointment for the kids.... who wants 105 degree water temp when the air temp is in the 90's??? Yard needs major help as there are large infestations of ants throughout the yard, pool area and around the patios. Took 3 days of our week stay before under partial control and kids didn't get bitten. House is large enough to accommodate 10-12 residents. Found it interesting that there were 8 TV's on premise but only one regular size refrigerator which meant numerous trips to the store. Garages off limits so plan to park outside and dumbwaiter locked out so each trip to the kitchen from the car means more than 25/30 steps up staircases with groceries and suitcases etc.
Wonderful stay. The Vacation Company is fantastic. We had a beautiful home to stay in and The Vacation Company was very responsive to our needs. We had a bike with a flat tire and they brought a new one within the hour. Excellent service. Can't wait to come back.
I had a wonderful experience with The Vacation Company. Great phone app that kept me up-to-date, easy check-in, and was a great way to get my key code, and other information. The rental was very clean and comfortable, it was well supplied and stocked with toiletries and essentials.I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely use them again!!!
The Vacation Company was great to work with and sent notifications via text and email to keep us up to date on the status of our stay. I really appreciated that they notified us when the condo was ready so we could check in a few hours early. The condo was great too and had everything we needed.
We stayed at 103 Dune Lane June 20-27 with 20 people (10 adults, 10 kids).
House felt brand new. Layout is very spacious with everything you need and lots of room for everyone. I suggest a bathroom on the pool level tucked away/hidden in the garage area but that is it. We would 100% return and I recommend this place.
The VC was great from the start. Had some questions throughout and response was immediate. 5-star service.
Location is a 5 minute walk to Harbour Town Marina that includes a large play area for young children and a 1 minute walk to Harbour Town golf clubhouse and 1 minute walk to hole 18. The entire area is like living in a forest with large oak trees with moss on them. Bike trails everywhere, petting zoo 10 minutes away. The home has an open floor plan on the first floor and all the bedrooms are large and have their own bathrooms. House is in good condition and clean. We were comfortable with 8 adults/teenagers and two toddlers. They provide 4 bicycles, beach towels and chairs. One car garage but outside parking for two other vehicles. Would highly recommend.
The property #234 is conveniently located but needs some attention . The bed needs replacing -the mattress is soft and lumpy , dips to the center and the frame is rickety - the exhaust fan in the bathroom runs really loud ( probably needs fixing) , the refrigerator runs loudly all night long, the microwave above the stove doesn t work even when plugged in , and the hair dryer provided doesn t work . There wasn t any complimentary filters for coffee or any beach accessories-towels , chairs , umbrella etc ! Maintenance had to let us in bc of new lock-The place was clean but expensive for the 4 night stay -I give this place a 3 star
Stayed at 19 Mallard Rd. Absolutely gorgeous house that offered a warm, cozy & home-like feeling. Inground pool and hot tub were very clean! Less than a minute walk to the beach. Food, shopping & activities are abundant. So many options to choose from! The best part; 99% of all stores, restaurants, bars etc. are within walking distance and are less than a mile away. All the staff at The Vacation Company were/are very friendly & professional. I highly recommend to all who have never been, to visit at least once. I will be back.
Booked rental unit from Vacation Company.. they were very helpful from beginning to end. They responded to all my questions, at many different hours, and everyone i dealt with was very nice, and helpful. All info i needed was sent to my phone, so i could access it when meeded...They also provided an allowance for beach gear and bikes,, which was wonderful. Their properties are very nice, and are as advertised. Highly recommend
Loved this condo! Can t beat the location and it truly had everything we needed. Tastefully decorated, comfy bed, big tv, and walkable to beach and restaurants - perfect! My only suggestion was with the rental company itself. I understand that check in is at 4pm, but if we are there and the unit is ready (we were and it was) - why not release the code and allow us to get in early? We called at 3 and said we were outside of the unit and housekeeping wasn t there so it was probably already clean. And it was. Otherwise everything was wonderful and we would come back to this exact location again!
I was skeptical of downloading the app but it proved to be super helpful and convenient. The Vacation Company was great to deal with. We had one question about our rental. I called and a real person answered the phone! Our issue was handled right away. I highly recommend!!
Excellent communication! They made it very easy to sign the contract, pay the invoice and at the end of the trip, depart from the house. We needed a few things and with one simple call they quickly delivered the items. The house we stayed in was just perfect and felt like they thought of everything! We'll be back!
We love this place. The location is fantastic for our big family. It's in the middle of south beach, far enough away from the gates that we don't think about running out often. It's so convenient to the beach and the view is lovey. Deer run through the green space between the condo and the dunes. The condo is comfortable, spotless and well maintained. A home run for us.
We stayed at 305 Windsor Place and found it to have all the things that we love to have at the beach... a picture perfect view of the ocean, beautiful trees and ponds, comfortable seating on the balcony, and the sounds of the ocean. It was an easy walkout to the beach and the beaches were incredibly wide and easy to walk on. We were here in October and it was easy to keep social distance on the beach. It was very nice to have several beach towels here for our use.
The king size bed was super comfortable as was the seating in the living room. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare simple meals in. This is definitely a place that we would rent again. Staff at the rental company were very nice to work with and I would definitely book through them in the future. All in all, it was a great stay !
Our family travels to Hilton Head every year. This was the first year that we stayed through the Vacation Company. They were hands down the best rental agency we have ever used. Excellent and professional communication, great responsiveness to issues, and an extremely well maintained condo. The extra amenities such as beach towels and nice toiletries were a very nice touch. We will definitely try to use them again.
We have rented condos in Hilton Head from the Ladies of the Vacation Company for 5 years and have had a great experience. Our rentals have extended from one month for a one bedroom to three months for a three bedroom unit this year. Our agent in charge has been Molly for the entire time we have rented but we have dealt with most of the other agents on various questions that have come up and have received consistently great service.
We would recommend anyone considering rental of vacation properties in Hilton Head Island, SC go to the Vacation Company first. The properties we have rented have been clean, updated with all the household things one needs, great TV and electronic equipment, close to great stores and restaurants. The Vacation Company also offers existing renters the right of first refusal for the next year if the owners are going to offer the unit for rental in the same time period.
A very well run vacation rental company determined to please. Very helpful and prompt to remedy any issues that may arise. I definitely recommend them.
The Vacation Company was really great!! Great at keeping in touch before we arrived, and even while we were there we had an AC issue and they took care of it right away! I d definitely work with them again!
Too many issues for the price we paid. First day i got locked in the bathroom then the closet. Luckily my husband heard me and was able to get me out of the bathroom. However the closet involved calling maintenance to get the handle off so I could get out. The dryer did not dry clothes well. Had to run 2-3 times for each load. Only had warm water in the kitchen. Felt we were in a dungeon due to location. Windows faced garage and main entrance so keeping blinds open was not an option. Plus getting to and from pool/beach was a hike.
We have been visiting HH for 30 years. Upon our arrival this year the single elevator in Windsor Place at Palmetto Dunes Plantation was not functioning. Our unit was on the 5th floor(top floor) Multiple calls to the posted by the elevator phone number yielded zero results and a handoff from one pre -recorded message to another. Finally, we were able to get information from Vacation Company that the elevator should be be fixed on Wednesday, 4 days after our check in. Apparently, this was communicated to the Vacation Company by the "REGIME" which seems to be the entity which manages the physical facilities in Palmetto Dunes. All that said, the elevator started running on Monday(2 days after our check in and multiple trips to and fro to 5th floor). We happened to detour from one on many staircase trips to the 5th floor and found the elevator functioning. The "REGIME" was not aware and did not communicate that elevator was operational on Monday. Through all our hassles Vacation Company did their best to fill in the communication gaps and mitigate the situation. The "REGIME" deserves a "VERY POOR" review based on our experiences and lack of clear communications. The "REGIME" does not deserve our patronage and we will be considering other vacation destination in 2019.
Vacation company is quick to respond to calls and questions and I have found them to be easy to work with and helpful. They are the best company that we have dealt with in Hilton Head.
Beautiful condo at the Seacrest. All the pre-arrival information was timely and accurate. One small maintenance issue during the trip was handled within minutes of our request! Would highly recommend....

Villamare resort is a very nice area with bike path s and swimming pool with hot tub and beach right there. Grilling area and fire pit was also very much enjoyed by us! After the AC unit went in our condo we appreciate the fast response to give us another unit to finish our vacation and enjoy it with a comfortable condo! Vacation Company is a very caring group of people!
Had an issue at the Welcome Center with Sea Pines pass from relative and the vacation company graciously provided a no charge 1 week pass so I could work things out with my brother.
Vacation Company has been a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, never rushed, and responsive to all questions. We had a very minor problem in our unit that was taken care of in a matter of hours. I would recommend them as a rental agency.
We recently rented a condo unit on Hilton Head from The Vacation Company. They were great to work with and very clear on communication, ensuring we had all information we needed to access the unit, report any problems, and check out. My aunt rented a unit in the same complex through a rent by owner website and had a much different, negative experience. We would definitely use The Vacation Company again.
My family of four enjoyed our week stay October 3rd through 10th 2020. I read the reviews months before arriving and was happy to see a message from the vacation company addressing my concerns on my portal dashboard. Driving into Hilton Head, we were also happy to see that it was mandatory for masks to be worn. The condo was very roomy. Close to the beach and steps from the pool. Lots of cooking utensils, towels (even beach towels) and beach chairs in the storage shed outside. Nightlights throughout was a treat. I always bring them along. I m not a fan of carpet, so we let our teenager have the bedroom upstairs. Another plus was how much hot water there was. We could all take showers without running out of hot water. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful. Looking forward to returning next year.
We have been renting from the Vacation Company for years and every year has been fantastic. The people there are always super nice and very helpful. This past vacation it was everything but great. We were coming in labor day weekend as we have for the last 8 years and were looking forward to our one vacation we get a year. We ended up booking a home the week before we left and were excited to be heading to our favorite place. Unfortunately Hurricane Dorian had other plans and ended up coming our way so we were able to spend just a day and a half out of our week at the house before we had to evacuate do to the mandatory evacuation order they declared. When we had booked their expert decided to not add the trip insurance to the total cost as she said she left it off since we were coming in a week, but we could add it if we wanted it. We figured since they deal with renting all the time and was not recommending it we decided to leave it off. We came to find out that was a big mistake as we came to find out we lost all the money we spent on the place. Even when you look at the contract regarding trip insurance it states it's through a different company and is not a guarantee. When we contacted the company to see if there was anything they could do, they stated there was nothing. We again tried to talking to them as we tried to find travel arrangements and they did offer the unused portion to go towards only the same house before the end of the year. They said they were going to do it this one time for guest as a courtesy. That would be great if the family had more time off which is not the case. During the conversations we dealt with a really nice lady and with one that was extremely rude as she seemed upset that she had to work on Labor Day. I completely agree that trip insurance would have been a good idea but if it's not guaranteed and if their experts aren't recommending it how is a customer to know any different or not to go with what is offered. I would have thought better business sense would be to offer a refund or to offer the unused portion for up to a year on any property as no money is lost. That shows the customer the company truly cares about it customers and not the money. The airlines and even Carnival Cruises were offer credits and refund to their customers even with out trip insurance.
Enjoyed our stay. One of your employees, think his name was Bo, came to help us the first day with hot tub and pool instructions. My daughter had a flat tire and he helped us get the tire pumped up so we could drive to the tire store. Would like to say thank you for his kindness in helping us. Stayed at 7 Quail last year and here this year and hope to be back next year. Tom and Joy Cook
Have been generally pleased with the entire process of my first experience with the Vacation Company. They are engaged and follow through on all aspects of the current rental. The dwelling is sufficient for the price and am pleased with the amenities, overall. I would recommend the Vacation Company with my first experience with them.
The unit was very clean and well stocked with anything and everything you could need for a good trip. We took advantage of the pack n plays & high chair that were provided. The starter pack of essentials including tide pods & dish tabs were such a nice touch. And the location could not be beat. Directly across from restaurants & shopping and a playground for the kids. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Hilton Head.

It was fantastic... everyone was so friendly ...the ocean was awesome . The house I was in for a week was great. The private pool and spa was wonderful.
Our stay at Barrington Arms was all we had hoped for and more. The suite was just as promised and the Vacation Company is good to deal with. The facility is so well-maintained. The pool is perfect. And the grounds made us say wow every time we went out or on the balcony. The beach is incredible. We will definitely return to the HH and the Barrington!
We really enjoyed our stay at 263 Stoney Creek near Harbour Town. The villa was very spacious and recently renovated. It was beautifully decorated and convenient to the beach and local restaurants.
The Vacation Company was very helpful and friendly and the discount on the villa was key in our decision to stay there.
We will definitely stay there again --especially if the Vacation Company will match or come close to the rental price they gave us for the villa.
We rented 4 Dogwood Lane from the Vacation Company and were extremely pleased. The home easily accommodated 8 adults and 7 kids. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.The screened porch was perfect for group dinners and relaxing evenings with the group. Loved that linens were furnished, even beach towels. 4 bicycles were provided for our use and were in good condition. The night before we left, the washer started leaking and a maintenance man was there very quickly after contacting the company. Pre trip communication was excellent and we will most certainly use the Vacation Company the next time we vacation in Hilton Head.
Had a wonderful stay at Villamare. The Vacation Company was excellent at communicating all the info we needed to obtain a parking pass and self-check-in. Our condo was clean and well-equipped and was also just steps away from the beach. Will definitely come back.
Great location and great place to stay. Only complaints are small. Shower was broken upstairs and a plumber had to come out to fix it. No sheets provided for the pull out couch. Both instances were handled well and quickly.
Same as last two year's experience with the vacation company....very attentive to detail and customer service. Even send our dog a welcome basket! Can't wait to get back next year!

Very helpful in selecting a location and friendly! We stayed at 1205 Villamare condo. It was beautiful and clean. Very short walk to the ocean. Gated access to beach which was nice. Indoor heated pool was actually warm. I ve been to many heated pools that weren t so that was a big plus on a rainy day. Spectacular stay!
We recently returned home from our stay at 1895 Beachside Tennis in Sea Pines. Our weather was almost perfect and the area was pretty well secluded- wonderful for this time surrounded by COVID-19. The view wasn't too bad for being located at the end of the complex. However, there were several issues inside the villa that should be fixed. For four people in the condo, the warm water didn't last through the first person's shower. Even in a rotating schedule, the first person's shower did not stay warm even halfway through. The shower knob in the guest bathroom was so difficult to turn on that my wife struggled to do it herself. There is also a dent on the front side of the guest bathroom door. The sliding glass doors to the balcony never locked, however that wasn't too concerning being on the third floor. Also, there was no handle on the sliding glass door in the living room and had to be opened with the locking mechanism. The carpets also appear warn and have several stains in the guest bedroom. The dryer in the laundry room struggled to dry even the smallest amount of clothes- to finish a load of beach towels, took at least three time through on the highest setting. These issues did not ruin our stay, but were inconvenient enough to mention it. For the price paid for the week and the location of the villa, there are numerous updates that need to be completed to compete with others in the area.
The condo was exactly as described. It has everything we needed for our week long stay. It s right across the street from the beach. Our walk was only about 100 ft. We would definitely rent again.
Lovely villa 1101 Villamare, but needs TV system in main living area checked out. Either old TV or outdated cable box creates constant outages and only 480 HD. Right and left MBs work fine and are 1080. Needs to be fixed!
Communication is excellent between this company and the client. The app information provides everything needed. Our villa was exactly as presented online. We had an issue with the water heater on a Sunday evening and a maintenance man arrived within the hour. We will use this company again.

From golf course recommendations to dinner suggestions, we were in good hands! Our condo was immaculate and super close to shops and dining, not to mention spectacular ocean views! My husband and I booked a condo with The Vacation Company for our honeymoon, and they made sure everything was perfect for us. The condo we originally booked was at a resort where they would be doing some roof work during our stay. We were notified with plenty of advance notice that the work would be going on, and then moved to a different condo before our arrival so that we wouldn't be bothered by the work. They even left us a sweet note and some champagne. The condo was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and we had a wonderful time. So thankful and glad to have booked with The Vacation Company!

The condo has been beautifully upgraded and it was wonderful surprise. All the amenities were well thought out and made our transition into this condo gio very smoothly. This is our second year at this condo and already my wife and talking about next year.
Hilton Head Island, SC is a beautiful place to visit and the condo at 412 Captains Walk was wonderful. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed to make our vacation the best ever. We rented bikes from LowSea bike rentals and was very pleased with their service. We rented the condo through the Vacation Company. They were very easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Access to the Hospitality app was very helpful. We highly recommend the Vacation Company, 412 Captains Walk, and LowSea bike rentals. Best vacation ever!!
Just stayed (Nov. 17-24, 2018) at a property in Hilton Head managed by The Vacation Company. Very impressed at this company's app, communication and efforts to make sure our stay was everything we expected. We were clearly aware of our accommodations, what amenities were available at the house (loved the 8 beach towels left for our use) and what was expected of us upon arrival and departure; we really had no questions or concerns during our stay because every detail was taken care of by TVC. Next visit I will only search TVC website for a property to rent...you rent, you show up, you relax and enjoy, you leave....how easy is that! All because The Vacation Company takes care of everything.
The unit itself was designer level gorgeous. Very clean and everything you would need, very well appointed with top notch kitchen appliances and utensils. The facility was also great with security, a tiki bar and outdoor eatery near pools and beach; no need to go back to room for lunch. Only somewhat negative was the workout facility equipment was dated. Everyone at Vacation Company was friendly and helpful which made the entire transaction hassle-free. Highly recommend!
