Small but cute. You can go through the whole zoo in 2 to 3 hours depending how interested you are. The safari ride was closed due to the rona. If you have a service dog they accommodate well!

Hogle Zoo is small, but they do a rally good job with the space they have.

We try and get there early to beat the crowds. In addition to the animals. They have a train and a merry go round you can pay to ride. There is also a small playground and splash pad area. You have to get lucky to catch the animals when they are moving around. We have had the most luck with the primates.

We love the Hogle Zoo. From the friendly staff to the clean beautiful animal exhibits. They have the best animal shows that I have seen at any zoo I have been to. Our hands down favorite thing to see at least once a summer in the world of flight bird show. These guys and gals put on the best show around. They are great showmen as well as amazing animal trainers. There is so much to learn and they have something new every time to see the show. We really appreciate the hard work from all the staff at Hogle Zoo to make our experience one to remember each time.

Hogle Zoo has done a great job of keeping everyone socially distant. Arrows on the ground point the way to move through the animal exhibits. Can't wait for the train and carousel to open back up!

Just plain fun. Staff awsome great with kids and adults both, lots of knowledge and willing to share with us so we can learn. Nice exhibits with information as well. Good food. Great gift shop. I would recommend this to all who love a great way to learn and have fun with animals. Train ride was great. Conductor very funny and lots to show us as well as teach us. The play park and water area is a real bonus. Thanks to all for a fabulous day.

We have a 2.5 year old daughter that absolutely loves the zoo. We ended up buying a year long pass because we end up going so much, and I was pleasantly surprised with the price for a year pass. The only downside is that you have to reserve times right now as a member, but I m not sure if that s just a COVID regulation or not.

The workers often are crabapples but it's a beautifully designed space. Standard zoo animals selection which I enjoy. For food, I would recommend the fish, but then again, I don't mind a little oil. Relaxing landscape.

Great experience for families and individuals. You can spead anywhere from 1-4 hours there. This is with a lot of buildings still shut from COVID, there are still plenty of exhibits that interest and excite you.

I'm proud of you for keeping focus on your bottom line. I am intrigued by the level of disregard you have for other living things in the interest of your finances and can't wait to see those animals really soon!

I had fond memories of Hogle Zoo from my childhood. Sadly, it disappoints.

The train ride is a joke. And it costs extra.

I was excited to let my six year old twins see the lions eat. Teens lined the rail, so I asked them if they could let two short boys in front of them. An adult from Hogle Zoo Camp said that my boys could not get in front; he had to ensure that those kids had an uninterrupted view of the lions being fed. They were in Hogle Zoo Camp.
1. The teens were much taller than my boys.
2. They didn t move, but they did look back at us.
3. I picked up my boys and began telling them about the lions. I was explaining stuff that the escort was not. The teens began to pay close attention to me. What kind of zoo camp doesn t teach the children? I presume that is a basic desire of the kids and thief parents.
4. I counted over 20 children who could not see.
5. This adult was far more concerned with taking pictures of the lions being fed.

The lesson: Hogle zoo panders to money. Bring in the elites. Treat them well. Who cares about the season ticket holders?

The animals were in marginal condition. Having raised animals, these readily show their unengaging confinement.

Hogle zoo? Or Hogle animal prison?

Again. I am disappointed in the animal care.
I am infuriated by the lack of care for the majority of guests.

Lots of different animals would recommend going earlier in the day when it first opens maybe the animals will be more active the bears and otters were really the only animals that were active the rest were sleeping

Great place for kids. They have a wide range of events throughout the year and seem to treat the animals well. The zoo keepers are also very informative and helpful. The exhibits are much improved over recent years.

Small but pretty impressive for a zoo in utah. Love that they have free parking and some free days. Wish they had some more info about animals plus more merchandise for different animals. But fun!

Smallish zoo compared with LA or San Diego but very pleasant place. Many animals were closer to the public than in bigger zoos. For instance, there was only a piece of thick glass between us and some lions which we thought was fantastic.
Also the price was right.

Great zoo to visit. Its not best I've been to but they are working hard to make it a nice place. They have free days but be prepared for insane crowds and parking so if you decide to go get there early. We found some nice shaded areas to sit down and eat and its needed during the summer days. The guides are nice and answer questions. Overall its worth a visit if your in the area

Love going here. Going to zoo lights is the best time to come here. I always have a great experience with zoo/boo lights. The food also tastes really good though sometimes this place can get really cold or really hot depending on what season you visit this place

When I was in elementary school this place was so depressing. Now bringing my daughters there, it is such an uplifting experience. The toys and food are overpriced, but it goes to giving the animals a better environment. So no complaints at all!

We loved our trip to this zoo with our 18 month old granddaughter. It is not too big. It can be seen in an afternoon, but you can spend more time if you wish. Most of the animals were visible when we went around 3-6pm. It wasn't too crowded either. We went on a Friday in Sept. It has a train and carousel for additional price. The train ride was short, but pleasant. Bring your own water bottle to fill up at water stations.

This is a really cool zoo. It used to be really bad when they had all of the cats crammed in a super small space, but they fixed that and now the cats have a gigantic exhibit. The park is really big and really nice. It's open all year round, but because it's super windy, it's really hard to go in the winter without freezing.

Great fun experience! This zoo seemed small compared to some I have visited, but that meant my feet hurt less! :) Zoofari Express train was a fun way to see this section of the zoo.
The bird show was well worth the wait in line and 30 minutes of education and entertainment. Kids and adults highly enjoyed the experience.
Several food options ranging from snacks to full meals oncluding pizza, burgers, deli sandwiches, and ribs. We ate At the Beastro which seemed to have the best overall selection along with an indoor air conditioned seating area which looks directly into the elephant enclosure.
Food prices seemed higher than average, but proceeds help support animal conservation, so not a big issue.

This is probably the best zoo I've visited. They have a large variety of wildlife, and, for the most part, the animals have rather spacious habitats. You could easily spend half a day enjoying the animals. The staff provide "shows" with some of the animals that demonstrate how the animals are trained and give more information about the involved species. There was some type of train that you could ride around the zoo with the purchase of an additional ticket, but it was closed on my visit (I don't lnow whether this is a common occurrence or not). I would definitely recommend this attraction to those visiting the area.
