Nice zoo, well kept and easy to get around. Downside is it is kind of small and can get crowded with lots of people. But the animals are in great enclosures and there is a lot to see! Very interactive for small kids.

It's a pretty small zoo. It's over priced and there arn't very many restaraunts in the park, and they are not that great. The enclosure feel old and compare to other zoos the experience just leaves me wanting every time.

The investment they ve made into the zoo really shows. Besides a variety of great exhibits and animals there a is fun little train ride, decent food, and a nice splash pad. The bird show is awesome. It s busy on Saturdays.

We have been coming to the zoo with our family membership since 2008. Since 2016, they are having the worst time running the place. The snack shops are always late opening, constantly. They complain about money lost, but they are not doing anything to change it. So again, I am going to make sure that everyone is knowing how this place treats their guests.

Love the Zoo. The grounds are beautifully kept. You can tell they take pride in their Zoo. Animals seem happy and they have quite the variety. My kids love the train and the carousel after seeing all there favorite animals.

Brought my daughters on a day it was over 100 degrees. The animals were hiding in the shade for the most part. But they were well cared for, much better than other zoos. We got to feed the giraffes. Fun place for kids

Hogle Zoo was a very nice place for or family. The train ride was awesome for our kids. They loved all of the animals. There is enough shade and places to relax that you can enjoy your time there.

On a special trip to Utah to visit my daughter, son in law and their children one of the things we went to do was to go to the Hogle Zoo. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun, there were quite a few shade areas as well as electric wheelchairs and accessories for the handicapped in elderly. The souvenirs were a little bit more expensive than I had anticipated but hey when you have as much fun as we did it's worth it. I hope to be able to go again because I did have so much fun.

This is a great place for any tourists in Utah or any Utah natives! A mix between the great culture that the hogle zoo provides, the very clean areas, splash pad, park, and amazing food it is a great place to bring everyone and anyone!

This place rocks they are doing a great job with the staff the animals seem to be well taken care of and once again the kids love going here usually in the spring or fall when the animals are more active .

My 2 and 3 year olds had so much fun. If you are seriously concerned about covid stay home. Don't be yelling at your kids all day about being too excited and running to see the animals.
Too scared to let your kids play with others, stay home. You'll ruin your kids experience.
Covid has a .1 percent mortality rate.

I'm very disappointed in this zoo. We have many great memories here and are season pass holders but we will not give this zoo another dollar until they correct their egregious stance against disabled people. My daughter loves the zoo and has been very excited to go but she is mentally and physically handicapped. She's nonverbal and doesn't understand keeping something on her face. She pulls a mask off immediately but the zoo offers no accommodation for those like her. They hide behind the county mandate and refuse to offer service to a disabled child.

Best way to spend a day! I have had a membership for the last 5 years, definitely worth the money. Their wide open exhibits like the African Savannah and the elephant encounter are amazing and you can watch all of the animals interacting with each other and the zoo keepers during their feedings. We'll usually stop at the Pacific Northwest area to have fried fish and garlic fries while we watch the seals and sea lions or the grizzly bears. During the summer the bird shows are an amazing addition, the rest of the time, the dozens of peacocks roaming around are fun to spot. During Halloween and Christmas they do Zoolights and Boolights where they have light up animals while you watch the real animals.

Animals, yep they have them. During the summer months it is a regular zoo, but in the fall they have a Halloween thing and Christmas a light show thing then too. Don't expect animals unless in the summer or you'll be disappointed. Off season openings are for the light shows and booths lined up along the zoo paths.

We love the Hogle Zoo! It was great to come on a day when it was not too busy and be able to see the animals. it is so nice to see that funds are being spent to brighten up certain habitats, expand others and add new learning areas as well. There is always something for every age group to come and enjoy.

I've been going to the Hoogle zoo since I was a tiny baby and have always adored it, I always renew my annual pass. It's a smaller zoo comparatively which makes you have a more personal relationship with these animals! The baby Orangutan is Tua and I'm pretty sure I've doctumented his entire childhood. Haha he has the cutest personality, just go see him and his big sister Acara they're so sweet together!

Always love visiting the Hogle zoo. We have SEASON passes which saves us a lot if $$. The zoo is clean, the animals are very well cared for. The habitats are very well done and give plenty of space to the animals.

My family and I absolutely love the Hogle Zoo. It is something that I went to as a little girl and now I get to bring my own children and they enjoy it. The train is so much fun and the carousel too. And there are so many animals to see.

If you care about animals at all please do not support this zoo. All of the enclosures are way too small and don t provide any room for the animals. Most of the animals looked depressed and some even looked ill. Their Arabian sand cat was sneezing and had watery eyes.

Stop taking your children to the zoo. I would recommend the living planet aquarium for a much cleaner, happier, and educational trip.

I loved it!!!! But they really need to enforce the masks, I got sneezed on by a man not wearing his mask! And my body can't handle sickness well, but overall was a great experience and an awesome place for kids and adults to have some fun!!!

The parking was a little bit crowded but once we got inside it didn't feel crowded at all. Some of the animals were getting enrichment activities with trainers and it was great to see.

All animals were in there enclosures except no tiger no polar bear. Train was down due to issues. Offer schedule animal encounters but we went on a day that had none. Overall great first time experience.

Hogle Zoo definitely upgraded itself all the new enclosures are really nice they have the new orangutans which was really cool to stay love going to see all the animals they have a cool little train ride the confessions aren't horribly pricey but you will need a few bucks all the walk path are nice and smooth and there's plenty of shade and benches plus they have a ton of different shows Birds the sea lions elephant shows plus he can go and feed the giraffes as well great place ticket prices have gone up a little bit since the last time I went but they're still under $20 for an adult and Senior still get a discount definitely go check it out it's always worth it

Really!! Hogle zoo is the worst I've seen in the US, why charge so much for plane and boring exhibits. Half the animals weren't even there, I get a way better experience with Willow park zoo in Logan. $90 for my whole family to play in there splash pad! Where I can do it for free at my local park smh. Seriously save the money this place isn't worth it! I've probably seen maybe, maybe 12 animals! Waste of time and money. I really don't understand how this zoo has 4.5 stars, this place doesn't diserve 1 star, spend your cash at a mall aquarium!

It had been a while since I last went. They have made quite a few changes. All for the better. I love the themed exhibits, especially the area with the tigers. It feels like a little Himalayan village.

The train was a lot of fun and was a very interesting tour too. Also the area with the polar bears and seals had some great underwater viewing areas.

I look forward to visiting again.

Nice zoo open year round. Very affordable. Good array of species. Great family place. The kids always have fun on the carousel. Look out for the red panda. It's the newest member and very adorable

Pretty good Zoo. Can get pretty crowded during the peak hours. During the winter they do Zoo Lights. Fun for little kids, but don't expect to see many animals at all. Almost all are indoors. Year membership is awesome for a small family. Prices jump once you have a family of 4.

A very fun outdoor adventure for children. Animals of many varieties to see. Make sure to bring your own food and drinks to save some extra money. Also check your local Les Schwab tire center to get free "buy one adult pass get one child pass free" coupons. And bring plenty of sunscreen. There are shades areas at the zoo but it is mostly walking through the heat.

Not very fun... Most habitats was empty, and main attractions I.e. the tiger and polar bear and wolves was not there, ticket prices are to high for the lack of animals they have... Was not worth driving from Wyoming to Utah... Highly recommend going to the zoo in Colorado...
