Great place for family. Well taken care and amaizing attractions.
Small zoo, but a good time! Easily viewable in one day. Fun for the whole family!
I loved the tour, the power to admire so many beautiful animal species
We had half off our tickets and that made it totally worth it. A lot to do here, seeing a real wolf was definitely worth it to me.
Such a fun place to spend an afternoon with family and friends
I love the tigers! I never see them in the water though!
Had a blast....hubby and I came here and looked at all the exhibits....We got to feed GIRAFFES!! Did a 16 attraction pass and it's already paid for itself. Other places include the planetarium, Olympic Park in Park City home of the 2002 Winter Olympics, Museum of National History, Red Butte Gardens (Botanical Garden) Aerial tram trip and more!
Beautiful exibits, educational interactives, and delicious food. The afternoon was truly enjoyable, on all levels!!!
It was fun I remember me playing on all the fun stuff but my little brother was not able to I rather you guys make us pute on hand sanitizer evry time we go of and on the equipment than you closing it of. OH and putting masks on all the animal statues isn't funny or fun it just reminds us that coronavirus is a thing
I absolutely loved this zoo!
This was the first zoo I've ever been too so getting to see all the animals up close was exciting.
The park was kept really nicely and we came just in time to see the new area (for the red pandas)
Also there was a lady who was carrying a injured owl around to show everyone and give information about its species. She did an outstanding job teaching everyone about the little fella!
beautiful, child-friendly zoo equipped with attractions
Nice and clean. Animals are well kept and look healthy.
Beautiful place good for the kids and parents. Lots of animals to see.
Definitely a fun experience we rode the train it was 2$ per person but it wasn t a very long train ride probably about 3 min long so was it really worth it? To my opinion no but if it s your first time at this zoo I d say give it a shot More
It was a lot of fun! Their bird show is world class! It's even free! You can tell that they want the best for the animals here. It isn't the best zoo I have been to, but I'll be back again some time!
Fun zoo, great for kids. A little pricey for what you get though.
My family loves to go to the zoo & they enjoy the experience
We have been here a few times and the kids always have fun. There is a lot to see and a couple of areas for kids to run and play to work out some extra energy :)
Boo at the Zoo was a fun experience. The trick-or-treat line was long and time consuming but the girls enjoyed wearing their costumes and seeing the animals.
My mom was visiting and has a medical issue with her knees, we went early to get an electric cart but they were gone (season pass holders get in early) - it was disappointing to see so many sitting there in disrepair when there is apparently such a high demand.
It's not a huge zoo, but it certainly has a lot of unique animals! They make the most of the space and have many family friendly activities.
Not a lot of animals to see during zoo lights, but the tiger and leopards were putting on a show. Lighting was well done, though a few displays had technical issues. Smores station was awesome.
My kids loved it! There is plenty to see for all ages, the splash pad offers extra fun, and the rides make it extra special.
I just wish they had hippos, penguins, and a few other animals
Hogle Zoo is small but enjoyable. I come from San Diego and the San Diego Zoo which takes you 2 days to go through all the exhibits.
The zoo is fun, especially for kids. If you can find a ticket that will allow you to have the kids go free, then he is reasonable to go!
Zoonlights was great at the zoo. The zoo during the day is a great time to spend with family. We got the membership and have gone like four or five times since August.
Holiday decor and close encounters with the animals. A day worth of activity. Which the train didn t cost extra but it was still worth it
Not the largest zoo I have visited, but enjoyable. Many places to eat. The mist fans they have throughout are nice on very hot days. Parking isn't easy on some days so plan wisely. Fun for the whole family. Just plan to purchase the mist fans for the areas without them on hot days. And becareful of some of the Icee areas...there are at times many bees. Our family enjoys it going here every year at least once.
Great place to take kids to see the animals. Expensive if buying food/drinks but you can take your own in as well.
Highly priced for a medium sized zoo. Many of the exhibits were closed. The Savanah animals were awesome and the bird show was fantastic. The kids loved the splash pad. Not a terrible experience, but it just isn't very big.
So much has changed since I've been to the zoo and it's all amazing!! It's a beautiful, clean, fun place to go with your family, friends or for date night. If you haven't been out haven't been for awhile, go! You won't be sorry.
I love the opportunity to learn about these beautiful animals. My kids favorites are the polar bears and red pandas. And of course we can't leave without riding the train or the carousel. Great atmosphere and the trainers love answering questions about the animals they care for.
Fun zoo, especially for little kids. Exhibits still open in the winter, programs reopen when the weather warms up. Lots of places to picnic and for kids to play.
Always a great time. A great experience with friends, family, or for a fun date.
A great zoo! Even in January a great place to see animals
Had a blast with my granddaughter! Clean facilities and hot food when we needed some.
The summer time is definitely a more filled adventure with the train not always operating and the play grounds closed the kids that were pumped for these attractions were let down. However we always have a good time when we come to the zoo. Going around construction vehicles not our favorite.
This place was incredible. The animals looks health and playful. It was very clean and had a ton of activity
We love our zoo pass. We have the wonderful opportunity to visit the zoo year round and learn about creatures as well as sustainability practices. I love that my children are learning as well as having fun. The animal seem well-cared for and have great habitats.
I am missing the animals they had back when I was young
This time it was appreciation day and family day. It was fun and our family had a lot of memory making moments.
I give it a solid meh. There was a guy telling everyone to subscribe to him on youtube @ papeldinero.
I always love coming here. It's a great place to spend a nice afternoon with the family.
Fabulous. *see review for asian highlands* The most exciting stuff happens from 12:00-2:00 pm. I have face to face encounters with both lions and with orangutans. There is a pair of orangutans that sit with their face pressed against the glass and just watch you. So you can kneel right to the glass and be right face to face with her. Same thing with the male and female lions during feeding time around 2:00 pm. What an amazing experience to be face to face with such huge male lions!!! What an amazing place, full of close up encounters.
Me and my date got there around 4:30. I didn't know the zoo closed at 6. We couldn't even find most of the animals and before we know it, we're told they're closing. Not worth all the money we spent! Would of been happy with just half a refund but, they didn't refund anything. Wasn't worth it at all. I pretty much donated $40
Very nicely laid out, shaded zoo with an interesting collection of animals. You can easily see the whole thing in a 3-4 hour trip
This zoo gets better every year! So fun. Excited for the meerkat and warthog exhibit coming soon.
My first time going to the zoo I had so much fun going with my son I love and adore it
I love going to the zoo! It's always fun getting to see the animals and the new displays or shows that some of them put on. The Red Panda is new to the zoo and he's adorable!
Great zoo. Lots of animals, a carasel and lots of food places if you want a meal
Forgot how fun the zoo is. They have really improved the place since I was a kid. Such a fun day for me and my family! Will be returning
This is good for kids as they can see all the animals. They are well maintained
Fantastic for the winter lights. Only problem is that when they have the animals out it really isn't much if a sight as there is a very poor variety of animals.
The train ride is worth the extra $2.50. Lots of parking room as well
I like bringing my kid here. We don't have to see everything and my kids are happy. A season pass is worth it.
My kids love all the animals! They can't get enough of the snake house.
If you don't like kids, enjoy a nice adult beverage, and love animals Zoo Brew is your thing. Might be worth going earlier in the day if you can to actually see the animals.
This is the first time I've been to the Zoo in about 20 years. I was so impressed with the changes they've made over the years. I especially liked the polar bear exhibit and the elephant area. Great place to take the grandkids.
The experience was not there for the money. They have several animals. Most are just like you would see at any zoo a quarter of the price.
We have had passes here for a few years and always have a good time.
The animals seem to have better habitats this year than about 5 years ago. I do wish there was more shade along the walkways and they used to have misters but they weren't on this time so it was pretty hot. The animals are pretty cool and I'm happy their cages aren't so small.
The best zoo ever always a good time when me and my family go
Nice zoo well maintained but was not as handicap accessible as it could be for my daughter
